Mr. Biryani Den restaurant is my default choice when it comes to going out to a restaurant with my friends and family. To start with their Pani Puri as starter is amazing. The appetizers like Chicken 555 which reminds me of bangalore style kababs are lip smacking. My daughter loved the Curry leaf fry chicken and Baby corn pepper fry. Mughalai Spl Biryani was very tasty too. All in all great tasty food with great portion size and also for sure great priced menu. You will definitely like it. Give a try 🙂
I placed an order from this place yesterday for a gathering, and it was incredibly fresh and tasty when it was served. The quantity and quality of the food you receive for the price is reasonable, and all visitors enjoyed it. Thank you, Mr. Biryani, for the deliciousness. The cuisine is highly recommended for catering orders.
Large portions at an affordable price. I had the Boneless Chicken Biryani and I could eat plates of it off of what I ordered. The chicken was juicy and seasoned just right. I would definitely order this again. They offer Mango Lassi and Sapota Juice as well if you were interested in their specialty drinks. The cashier was very courteous as well. I am looking forward to a second visit.
My favorite place for biryani. I might've tried most of the menu here. Have been going to this place for their biryanis for quite a while. They have wide varieties of biryanis and some of them taste good. Spice level was very rough when they opened the restaurant few years ago but it is decent these days. Place gets busy even for takeout but their ordering via browser is good. Nethi Mamsam roast biryani is my MVP. Boneless goat pieces roasted in ghee on top of biryani is awesome. Tried numerous times and taste s amazing Special Paneer Biryani is decent Ulavacharu Bajji Biryani is another MVP. Very unique bajji in ulavacharu which is horsegram and s amazing n spicy Kaju Soya Biryani was ok on mild side Chicken fry piece biryani is very good Rambo chicken biryani was okish. Chicken pieces in some masala but did not like the flavor Vijayawada Paneer was ok Ulavacharu Paneer is good but ulavacharu Goat and chicken fry piece is awesome My last MVP is Gongura goat and Gongura paneer but gongura flavor with goat is sooper Paneer Pakoda was not good. Chilli gobi biryani is good Gutti Vankaya biryani is very good
I’ve taken to-go from this place a million times. I always order on Phone and pickup when I’m in the area. This place is not for the ambience but can manage a quick dine-in! They have the chili gobi biryani which is one of their best seller. It’s their signature dish that can’t be found in other restaurants. Never disappointed. The consistency is commendable. No wonder the place has become super popular in a short time. I’ve also tried their vijaywada panner biryani but it’s not their best. There are other places that have better panner biryani. They also have the sapota juice which is rare, but I found it slightly overpriced. It’s in a central location. And I would definitely recommend trying out their biryani. Also heard good things about their non-veg biryanis!
The food is too delicious. We always over order to have leftovers during the week. So Good 😋
I've ordered Sri Kanya CHICKEN Fry Piece Biryani and SRI KANYA PANEER BIRYANI which is available only on weekends. The taste of it Soo mild and delicious. Meat portion is more than biryani rice. The panner was so soft and fresh. If rice portion is more than meat it would be better I guess.
We got a doordash delivery. 😀Malai Kofta was in orange gravy. it wa good in taste. quantity was good and I will order again. it had 4 kofta pieces. ❤️Chicken Fry Piece Biryani - I am vegetarian so I didn't have it but my husband loved it. the portion size was huge and I will order it again for him.
Yesterday I went with my family and we really liked the food. The chicken fry piece was very tasty, and both the Sri Kanya biriyani and the mutton biriyani had amazing flavor – reminded us of Hyderabad biriyani. The chiku shake was refreshing, and the starters, especially the kaju chicken and chicken 65, were really good. I’ve also tried their tandoori several times before, and they always maintain the same taste. The staff are very welcoming, which makes the experience even better.
Mr. Biryani serves some of the most delectable biryani I've ever had in the Bay! I tried the chili Gobi biryani while my friend got the boneless chicken biryani. We both loved the Biryanis and curry/raita that came along with it. The quantity of the Biryanis is so much, it's actually enough for two or potentially three people to share. There's a fair amount of seating inside too. Plenty of other things on the menu but do try the Biryanis if you stop by. The chikoo / sapota milkshake was so good too (complementary for this review 😃). Highly recommend this place and will be coming here more often!

The food here is amazing especially Chicken fried rice which is a must try item, also the masala mutton, neti mamsam biryani and Vijayawada chicken biryani stand out. The recipes are authentic that gives you the true flavours.
Tried the Chilli Chicken, Chicken Dum Biryani, Mughlai Egg, and Special Veg Biryanis — everything was super tasty! The biryanis were flavorful and aromatic, and the Chilli Chicken had the perfect amount of spice. Each dish felt fresh and satisfying.
We really loved the vijayawada chicken biryani and curry leaf chicken was amazing too. Highly recommend their home style spicy food
Not sure why this place has low ratings. I’ve ordered Uber pickup 20+ times, and they’ve never disappointed me once! In my opinion, this is one of the best biriyanis in the Bay Area. Coming from Bangalore, if you like Meghana’s style biryani, you should definitely give this a try. My top picks are their in-house Special Chicken Boneless Biryani and Vijayawada Chicken Boneless Biryani. They cook the rice to aromatic perfection and take cooking instructions very seriously. This is my go-to spot for biryani now!

Update : Looks like hit or miss. Tried Veg biryani today and it was very fresh and flavorful. Original comment: Tried their so called “special” paneer biryani. Sadly, nothing really special about it. Obviously not fresh and tastes bland.
We tried the Ullavacharu and special veg biryani and totally loved it. Perfect balance of spice and flavor. The ambiance is not so great but perfect for take away.
Great food! We tried chilly Gobhi biryani for the first time and it was really nice! The spice level is mild to medium. Chicken boneless biryani and baby corn pepper fry starter was good and fresh too. We didn’t like the Salan accompanying the biryani.

The Chicken Biryani here is very good, and the quantity is satisfying. The 1+1 offer on select biryanis every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is a big plus (check availability, as it might be limited time!). Pro tip: delivery requires you to pick two of the same biryani, but picking up might let you mix and match different biryanis. My experience with their order management once was not great . When the volume of orders increased, the kitchen took over an hour to prepare my food. To worse part, someone else mistakenly picked up my order after i got prepared for an hour, and they had to repackage it, adding to my wait. I recommend the management to improve their system for handling high volumes of customers and orders. Despite the wait, the quality of the food makes this one of the best biryani choices around.

Clean and hygiene, that's why I gave 2 stars. Affordable that's why I came here. But the taste of biriyani was horrible. We ordered Apollo fish 🐠 which was ok . Mutton biriyani was very sour and I felt like eating pickle rice with marinated goat. Good part is quality of mutton was fantastic, tender, and juicy and for sure fresh. But the cooking taste was horrible. Same with chicken. Sopeta juice was nice
The quality of the food was not so good. We ordered chili chicken, Ulavacharu chicken briyani and Boneless chicken curry combo. Combo comes with three roti’s. It felt the Chicken used for chili chicken wasn’t fresh. Even though we dined in roti was becoming like papad before we finished eating. Boneless chicken curry taste was just ok Ulavacharu chicken briyani taste was good .
IF YOU WANT AN EXTRA RAITA OR SALNA WITH YOUR BIRYANI, it’s a DOLLAR EACH!!! 😂😂😂😂 I usually love this place for their kaju chicken and not gonna lie, it’s really good! They’ve got good biryani too. Nothing extraordinary though! But but but they’ve started charging 1 dollar each for an extra salna and raita. This is a joke at this point and take your time..laugh about it. EDIT: RESPONSE TO THE OWNER’s COMMENT I do actually know how much it costs to make a small raita & the effort it takes to run a restaurant. I have close friends who have worked in Indian restaurants and I know all about what goes on in a kitchen, so that argument of yours is not going to work with me. Having said that, I never undermined the effort or hard work of anyone, but a dollar each for less than 2 oz. of raita or salan seems too overpriced. I'm not saying give it out for free, but a reasonable price point of $0.30 - $0.40 makes more sense to me, but it's your business so keep it up! People are definitely able to enjoy good food in Indian restaurants, but no customer is going to gauge a restaurant on the basis of their hard work alone. The "hard work" you put in to respond to people negatively on the reviews is certainly not worthwhile.

They do the lazy hack of having the same rice base for all the so called biryanis and just give the curry on top of it. This might work if the biryani rice is mild but their rice has strong flavor too which interferes with the curry flavor. Gutti Vankaya doesn't have much gravy, rather it's just oil. Fry piece chicken tastes average as it's marinated with corn flour. Gobi 65 is not good. Salty and deep fried without any gravy. Overall mediocre food. Rather they should provide pulav bagara rice like Golkonda restaurant. They do it the right way.
Quality has come down especially they have a weekend buy one get one offer where they wantedly make it spicy compared to normal offer even if told mild or medium biryani. Will avoid until they change chef or management is changed
We ordered spl boneless chicken briyani and Apollo fish. Took 25 mins to get the fish starter, another 5 mins for biryani. Apollo fish was mediocre, more deep fried marinated masala than actual fish portion. Chicken in the biryani felt old, not up to the expectations. Must say disappointed in all. To add to it, regional TV serial atmosphere made it much worse.

I have been a regular customer for past 4 years at Milpitas location; Mostly I do prefer placing GRUBHUB pickup order. After management change, am seeing a common trend of confused orders handling while quantity/box sizes got reduced. ------------------------------- Cashier/Front desk person(s) are unable to confirm whether order is ready or NOT? how long it will take? They are responding without concern - please wait sir!!!! Nothing else & no apology for delaying your order by 45mins even after GRUBHUB says is it ready!!! ------------------------------------ Free tea may NOT coverup your operational inefficiency & NOT for long customers will visit for food taste. -------------------------------- After more than one bad experience, am giving this review. Will continue to visit restaurant & publish new review if it improves ------------------------------

I donot know what people here understand by the word "Biryani". I am from Calcutta, India and to us the deffinition is very different. I have tasted Biryani from this and other two/three places at Stoke-On-Trent and from that experience I can imply none of them are authentic biryani rice. Cooking some pieces of meat with rice and sprinkling some spices over it that too in refined all with no essence or flavour doesnot make them biryani. I am sorry but I cant be more supportive in my eavaluation and the items are largely overprized also. Very worst.
This used to be our go-to place be it a roti-combo for quick dinner or their biryani. Recently their service and quality have gone really bad. Ordering vegetarian curries I always find chicken in them. First time I reached out to door dash and got my refund thought it was a honest mistake. When it happened second time, I took the order to the store and showed them the chicken pieces that were found in my paneer curry and they apologized and replaced it. Today, for the 3rd time I see chicken pieces in the Paneer Curry. How come the chef could not differentiate Panner & Chicken ? If the entire item is made with chicken I understand the possibility they had a mix-up but finding chicken pieces is Paneer is pure adulteration !!
We were regular customers of this place but won't be anymore. Their quality has gone down drastically. I have quite recently seen multiple instances where they mix stale chicken in biryani. The same applies for their paneer biryani too. They started mixing old stuff( chicken, paneer) with just the new rice.Experienced this 3 times in the last 4 orders. Sorry Mr. Biryani you have let us down. Even after calling and telling you few months ago about this practice you are continuing to do this. You will start losing customers for this.
Horrible! Vegetarians don’t ever make a mistake of going here. Ordered paneer biryani. Got Chicken. Could be a mistake but highly unacceptable if you are a pure vegetarian.
Long wait times even if you order food 30 mins earlier Food quality reduced and lots of oil Quantity also reduced I went on a Friday Uber charges 50% premium if you order through app
The food quality and taste is really bad. It used to be good earlier. I would never recommend anyone to this place.
Extremely disappointed with my recent order. The shrimp in the Bhimavaram Royallu was completely stale, and the chicken dish was also spoiled.
Looking at the ratings & reviews, we decided to take out paneer butter masala. It was extremely spicy and didn’t taste a bit like paneer butter masala. I understand they primarily serve briyani & non vegetarian food but if you can’t make an authentic version of the dish, please do not sell it in your restaurant. Really disappointing!
We ordered 1 paneer biryani and 1 chicken biryani Cons: There was no enough biryani masala for the rice, I felt like eating some plain colored rice Even the paneer on top of the rice was just bland/taste less Salana/Biryani gravy was not good Worst thing was they have added too much of food color for the biryanj rice, our hands ✋️ got completely yellow for few hours after eating it. Next time reduce/avoid adding too much food color Try to make sure you provide enough biryani masala with rice
Ordered takeout of Kaju Chicken 65 and Gobi 65, and both were terrible. They caused immediate stomach upset. The chicken was definitely stale, and I'm unsure if the same applies to the Gobi 65. Definitely ordering first time in here, not sure about other dishes . But Never taking the risk to order AGAIN **CAUTION*** DO NOT FALL SICK eating at this place, unless the management takes precautions to fix it
Today we ordered a gobi veg biryani at this place. We ordered two biryani and we found a roach/ spider in one of them. Really very bad experience with this place.
Ordered 2 panner biryani but it had chicken in it along with panner in both orders.

This place used to be good before the management change. We were regular customers for several years, but after the change(to den), they often mix up the biryanis and even serve old biryani. Since we order regularly, we can easily tell the difference. When we informed the management, instead of checking with the kitchen, they dismissed our concern by saying both were paneer biryani and asked whats the difference. Not sure why they have different types in menu then.
I’m a professional chef, and this was honestly the worst biryani I’ve ever had. There was no spice or depth of flavor at all. The rice was mostly dry, plain white rice mixed into the biryani, which completely ruined the authenticity. It felt like the quality issue is the reason they are running buy-one-get-one offers. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for real biryani.
Ordered a Andhra chicken curry through Grubhub. The curry is hot but chicken isn't fresh. It feels like yesterday's curry has been packed up to deliver today. Worst experience. Never ordering from here again.
