Pho The Bowl has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Mission Viejo, especially when I need something comforting, fresh, and full of flavor. Whether it’s a chilly day or I’ve been running around with real estate showings, their pho hits every single time. The broth is rich and aromatic, the portions are generous, and everything always tastes incredibly fresh. My favorite is the brisket pho with extra lime and Thai basil—but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Their vermicelli bowls and spring rolls are also delicious and super satisfying if you’re in the mood for something lighter. The service is always friendly, and the restaurant is clean, casual, and easy to get in and out of, even during lunch hours. Pho the Bowl is the best! The food is delicious. All the employees are so very nice! Went last night and had the chicken breast Pho, also got the fried rice with Chinese sausage and barbecue pork. The rice also comes with shrimp but we chose not to get shrimp in it today. We also got the garlic noodles with shaken beef. And last but not least, we also had the tofu spring rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious!

We have been going to this establishment for over 10 years at their Laguna Niguel restaurant. When they opened a new place in Mission Viejo next to Ladera Ranch, we couldn’t be happier. Their restaurant and clean and open. That’s important to us. Clean establishment and good food. They portions are of a good size and very delicious. They have a great selection of dishes and pho bowls. The service is quick and the food is hot and fresh. Seriously, what more can you ask for.

AWESOME Bahn Mi sandwiches! I was craving a bahn mi sandwich and got both the beef and pork - WOW! Great fresh bread, the beef was very flavorful Will definitely be getting my bahn mi from pho the bowl!

The restaurant is so clean and the pho is delicious. The broth is very flavorful. My son and I both ordered the #2, rare beef and brisket. The meat was very tender. Our server, although a man of few words, was warm and friendly. I’m so glad we found this place. Definitely coming back

I stopped by for a quick late-lunch and was blown away by the amount of meat that comes in the pho! There was a hefty stack of sliced brisket and lots of tripe in the bowl, I was very pleasantly surprised. Prices are pretty good as well! $17.50 for a large bowl is hard to find these days!

I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years and their food is always good. Their service is excellent and it’s always clean. This is my favorite spot to go to if I’m feeling really hungry and I would definitely recommend this to my friends who haven’t tried Vietnamese food. Don't let the shyness or aloofness or no smile trigger a dislike. Food is pretty good. The fish sauce that came with my order was a bit mild in taste but that's fine. The veggies and marinated pork and shrimp and egg rolls and noodles are all fresh. Yummy food indeed. I had mango smoothie. That's deeleeciousness. Overall visit was pretty good.

The food we got was only ok. The spring rolls came after our pho and only had rice noodles, shredded iceberg lettuce, and shredded carrots with the tofu. They didn't have much flavor. The pho broth was ok, it needed help from condiments to add more flavor. I really liked the meatballs, but the rare beef was very chewy and didn't have good flavor. The shrimp pho tasted like cocktail shrimp. Overall, it was fine but probably will not return for another visit.

There’s been times the meat has not been the freshest, but today, the meat was so overcooked, that it was extremely rubbery and inedible. Hoping they see this review and improve their food quality. Edit: We tried this time one more time a couple weeks later and the meat was overcooked, but also smelled and tasted gamey. Unfortunately it looks like this place has gone downhill and I won’t be ordering from here again. The last 5 times, the short ribs have been poor quality- either very undercooked or overcooked, tasting old and sour, and now gamey. This last time, the food made me nauseous after eating it. Not sure what happened to the quality of this place since it used to be consistently delicious until this last 6-9 months.
