Jalapeños Mexican Food

I love jalapeños. I stop here whenever I come to the area. The food is always fresh! They have a small self serve salsa bar. The salsas are fresh made and delicious. I got a carne asada burrito bowl this visit. Absolutely fabulous - everything is good. The burrito bowl would be good served as a dip with chips. Pick one or two up on the way to your next party. I recommend Jalapeños to everybody. Quality food in a fast food setting. Take out or eat in - they have a small dining area.

Jalapeños Mexican Food is hands down one of my favorite spots! Their Bistec Ranchero Burrito is absolutely amazing — packed with flavor, perfectly cooked meat, and just the right level of spice. The sopes are another favorite of mine — fresh, hearty, and so satisfying. I’ve tried most of the items on their menu, and honestly, everything has been consistently delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every dish. Friendly staff and great service make the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving real, flavorful Mexican food!

I go to this place once a week for my kids and I ! We love the food and the service! Specially the Mexican lady with big lashes is so sweet, friendly knows me by name! She makes me feel welcomed, special! Rest of the crew also nice! My favorite Mexican restaurant! Keep up the great service and the food!

So bomb. Always get El Jefe Burrito (comes with shrimp). I think it’s the most filling burrito they have. Perfect for when you’re super hungry.

Great food. Prices are about market level. Breakfast available all day. Chorizo and egg burrito is top notch. Great Chorizo flavor and balance with egg and refries.

Tacos Al Pastor are still really good. Carnitas torta let's just say was Missing flavor. Salsa bar still not open. Friendly staff and fast service. Good ambient with TV's and plenty of sitting room. Enjoy your visit.

Jalapenos does a good job of presenting consistent Mexican food with quality ingredients. This night, the restaurant seating area feels poorly maintained and dirty. We had to wipe down our tables and benches before sitting down. The area around the soft drinks and salsa bar was also very dirty.

Besides the portions getting smaller and the prices going up (no doubt bc of inflation) I went yesterday and I feel like all of the items are way saltier than they used to be. Almost like they replaced all of their good spices and flavor with just salt. I usually never write reviews but I hope they go back to their old recipes

Was harassed by the “self professed” manager Gilda Gomez, 1/27, 7:50pm. I Ordered a carnitas burritos but was happily sold their combo of the day with the carnitas burrito. In addition to the rice and beans, I was also given a cup for the fountain. I don’t drink soft drinks. After using the tiny plastic bag (that I was asked to use) to carry some pickled carrots, I proceed to put the leaky bag into the cup that I won’t be using, and capped it so the brine from the carrots won’t leak all over the place. I was stopped by Gilda who yelled that I should not be taking carrots, as they are for tacos only. Of course I knew it was BS. Been going to jalapeños for years. She demanded that if I won’t be using the fountain, I should have returned the cup in the first place. This Gilda is full of BS and should not interface with any customer. Her bad uncalled for manners/aggression towards me gave me a headache. Hope someone can look into this.

Food is delicious, however both my girlfriend and myself got food poisoning from our last order. She had shrimp tacos, which were the likely culprit, but it wasn't until I had the bean dip that my symptoms were realized.
