My favorite local place to get poke. So fresh and so many choices. Ordering online makes it super fast. They offer free miso soup. Take it!

Everytime my daughter comes into town, she wants to go eat at Poke Wave. She loves all the different options you can select including the shredded dry seaweed to put on top. For the price of poke in Southern California it is very fair. Free Miso soup with every order.

Great find! Nice little place. Nicely priced poke bowls. Young ladies working were very knowledgeable, made recommendations, and very nice. Ingredients were fresh and restaurant was clean and tidy. Will return for sure.

Yummy Poke bowls, best I've had. To be honest I was never really a "Poke Person". I had tried it a various locations but was never that impressed. However, Poke Wave changed my mind. They have the freshest ingredients, yummy Miso soup (which is free BTW) and the nicest folks behind the counter. Poke Wave is my new favorite lunch spot in Mission Viejo.

I go on my lunch break sometimes, and they're always friendly and quick. Good rice, good fish, interesting drink selection, and complimentary miso soup. Decent prices for a heaping bowl of fish, too.

Amazing poke. Simple menu that puts everything you ever wanted a point away ( since some folks can't remember all the names of the toppings ;) Staff has tasty and helpful recommendations in case you get stuck or have a question. Delicious miso soup comes with every bowl. I cannot wait to go back!

I’m hooked on this place, I literally go 2-3 times a week. My favorite Poke location this far. I’m willing to drive 8-10 min from work when there’s a place across the street from me. But this other place doesn’t compare (Poke Cat). The food and service is amazing, recommend 5 stars !!!

I was impressed with the freshness of ingredients. Overhead was low but it didn't feel like a dive. We enjoyed our meal and the price was better than expected. Very good bang for the buck

I’ve only been here once, at the urging of my boys who have been several times. Yum! Will definitely go back. 9/5/2018 I’ve now been several times and still very impressed with quality of food and staff is very pleasant. Definitely on our list of favorite places.

This is a typical Hawaiian poke place right here in the heart of southern Orange county California. The restaurant is a little bitty hole in the wall place, with a few seats inside, and seating available outside. They use a Chipotle style ordering system where you tell them what you want for your base be it rice or salad, which kind of proteins you want, and what kind of toppings and sauce you want on your pokey. The food is quite tasty The drinks available offer the Hawaiian sodas and the mainland variety as well. The staff is great.

a very good poke place (with consistently fresh ingredients!) that DOESN'T charge extra for imitation crab, avocado, or masago! they have less options than other establishments as far as sauce flavors, but i personally don't enjoy a bunch of flavored mayonnaise based sauces that take over all the delicious subtle flavors and textures in the bowl. they have a simple combination of 4 basic sauces and they have 3 options for mild, medium and spicy (each has a mayo based sauce too which you can get in the bowl or on the side). they also offer jasmine rice as a base in addition to white and brown rice and fresh greens (i also believe they have a chip option). They have excellent raw salmon, something I have had issues with at a few other nearby poke businesses (I can't stand warm, fishy, or "wet"/sweaty raw fish, and it can be a challenge finding raw salmon without that "texture" that lower grade sushi tends to have)...Thankfully, Poke Wave appeared and it is the only place in MV where I will get poke.

Great numerous Selections in all categories meat veggies sauces and on and on. Friendly people and really clean. Have you eaten twice once in and once take out and both times the food was great.

Been going here since 2016 when it first opened. It's never not amazing. It's both healthy and delicious. Prices have gone up over time due to inflation but still worth it to atleast try.

They have fresh fish, unlimited toppings, and every bowl comes with a complimentary miso soup. they also have gluten free and vegan options! The employees are always friendly and helpful.

He wanted to create something for him he'd like, for free and it was delicious.

Good poke place. 5 stars solid? Really? Why? It's good but nothing about this place really differentiates them from other poke places. Quick service. Average sized bowl. Fresh ingredients. Average proceed with the competition. We have eaten at dozens of poke places but this one is the hardest to remember.

Went there for the first time today after looking at the awesome reviews they had. The food quality is amazing and totally deserve a 5 star but the one star down is because of the customer service for me. I think perhaps this is a family owned little shop? There were two girls who serviced me when I went. First thing is they didn’t even get my base right which is fine but the whole process felt rushed even though I was the only one in there. When I was still taking a second to decide on my toppings and addons, they start to ask me what I want for the next step BOTH times. That kind of irked me a little. But this place is most definitely worth going to. Reasonable price for its portions.

Very good! Only critique would be to add more bowl sizes, more generous servings and add seaweed salad! It was very delicious! Thankful for the free miso soup! Fish was delicious!

Love the customer service, Thank You! I have been in three Poki type restaurants. I thought maybe there would be more of a fish selection along with various sizes of bowls s,m, l. Not so here, one size! However that being said not from the area and trying wanting to try it. It was very good and tne mild sauce was a liking to my tastebuds.

Great poke place. Have a variety of sauce choices to customize your flavor. Have a decent variety of fish and topping choices. Would appreciate if they had seaweed salad. Atmosphere is descent with some small tables, tough with such a narrow space, but they make it work. Additional seating is available on outside shared patio space.

I love poke and I have tried tons of places. Poke bowl here was extremely dry. I requested extra spicy mayo and eel sauce in the bowl and on the side. It was still on a very dry side. I had struggled to finish half of it and then gave up.

Very poor quality food! I don't know why I didn't read the comments before try. Don't come back.
