Beautiful views, amazing food, and fantastic service! We absolutely loved this place for celebrating our anniversary dinner. We had the margherita pizza, along with the bread and butter. Everything was perfect. We will certainly be back.
What a fantastic brunch! Tomato toast was my all time favorite. So much flavor. My son had the French toast which was a great surprise. Crispy outside with a moist flavorful inside. Love the Carmel sauce. My daughter was impressed by the breakfast sandwich, simple but fresh tasting. She loved the fluffy egg and the tasty croissant. What a great improvement to their brunch. We will definitely be back for more.
FINN's was AMAZING!! I've never had such amazing pork chops! Omg I could eat that for the rest of my life it was so good! My husband loved the oysters (I'm not a fan of oysters) He loved his plate, I loved mine, the entire experience was outstanding! Our server was a gentleman who truly took care of us, I wish I could remember his name to include him on this, because that man deserves a raise! I think he was a bald guy if that helps, anyway, he was the best! And to the cooks, also a 10/10! They know what they're doing. The view next to the Clark fork was beautiful as well! All in all, we will be back for amazing service and amazing food! Excellent job Finns!
Excellent beet salad, burger, and latte. I’m a food and coffee snob from Seattle and this place exceeds expectations. Fast, friendly service and gorgeous view of the Clark Fork River. Has a full bar as shown but I didn’t drink because driving. Uplifting experience, actually.
Food was sooo yum! Are server Sydney (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was super nice and very patient! The margarita pizza and shrimp made me happy. Don’t walk run there!
Visited passing through on a road trip in July 2024. Food was well prepared and tasty, good kids menu, tap list, and fresh oysters. Great views and a lot to offer. Would go back.
Home run! FINN “knocks it out of the park”. I’d give 6 stars. Amazing versions of Benedict’s and best home fries. The food was very fresh & expertly presented. Lyndon was our great server. The ambiance sitting on the deck by the river, watching fly fishermen made a memorable morning. We’ll return soon for the dinner experience! Went back for dinner and were treated to amazing oysters, handcrafted cocktails and delicious entrees. Had to add more photos!
Always an amazing location to eat no matter the time of day while in Missoula with spectacular views of the mountain and river! Fantastic for families or a adult only meal. Staff are wonderfully fast and friendly. The food and drinks are delicious and filling. Recommend having a reservation this restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors alike so it fills up quickly.
A beautiful setting along the river in Missoula Montana. The hotel is currently under construction, but the effort to find the restaurant was well rewarded. The menu was new, but Abby, our server, did an fantastic job of recommending the best of the best. The grilled cauliflower was a wonderful surprise, and all of the entrees were beautifully presented.
Bit of a weird walk thru a hotel but it was fun. I enjoyed the service. Food was good. No complaints here
Finn has been a Missoula staple for years and years! They consistently have some of the best food to be had in the area, with fresh local staples and crafted cocktails that are both delicious and fresh. The price is of the higher range for the area, but for a good reason, and the oysters and fresh fruit margaritas (pictured are huckleberry and strawberry) are the best in town. Also pictured is the burger and half artisan cheese board. On a sunny day the view from the deck and seeing people getting off the river from floating is a fun sight and enriching vibe. Great!
Great tasting food and local beers. View of the river is amazing and we watched an eagle 🦅 scope out dinner while enjoying appetizers. Even if you aren’t staying there I’d recommend coming in to the restaurant.
Gorgeous setting along the river, friendly staff and great food. The fries are incredible and wood fired pizzas are big enough for two. Local beers on tap and good wine selection.
Perfect place for a wonderful date night. Delicious crafted cocktails, many made with local spirits. Fresh oysters are delivered weekly and we lucked out to be there on delivery day. Fresh, delicious and a great atmosphere!
Amazing experience! Janine, Carl and the entire staff made our dinner absolutely delightful. Ribeye and Halibut were delicious and they have an awesome wine list!
The food was incredible and the location on the river is gorgeous! The menu was simple but everything on it was amazing! We got the pork chop, the ribeye, and the filet!
The caramelized onion/goat cheese pizza is amazing if you want casual-classy. Beautiful ambiance and amazing food. I always feel special when I dine here. Ok. I’m Biased. This is also one of my favorite places to play music!
Great pizza, drinks, and service! I'm not disappointed. Pizzas were made right in front of us and made real well, Ask for recommendations. They know what they do! Highly recommended!
Fantastic food. One of the better restaurants in Missoula MT. It's more surprising that it's attached to a hotel. Stayed here multiple nights and tried 3 separate dishes. Ribeye was fantastic, ordered medium rare and came as requested. Next night was a filet, also very good. Morning breakfast ordered the avocado toast. Great restaurant. Wish all hotel restaurants were this good.
Set the outside patio bar, great service by Ashley and the Sous Chef Jarrod created this halibut ceviche. Be sure to try the crab/artichoke dip.
With a cute ambiance and a pretty river view, I received remarkably amazing service from my server, Garrett. He paid keen attention to all the details I mentioned about my order and had a great manner, which made my unexpected extra night due to my flight cancellation feel very pleasant and sweet, like the delicate chocolate with the restaurant name printed on it at the end! Such a nice gesture..!:)
Came for happy hour and had a great time. We sat in the deck but when it started raining we came inside. The views are great. We had a vodka martini with blue cheese olives and a gin and tonic. Excellently done. Best martinis in town. We also had half dozen oysters. Fresh and delicious.
Finn is one of Missoula’s best restaurants and the view of the river is an added bonus to your visit. The staff was very welcoming, especially our server, McKayla H.
A wonderful evening to remember~ Food was amazing, staff was lovely and nothing can beat that view of the sun setting on the M tail with people leisurely floating down the river or fishing on the bank 🥂 picture perfect 🙌
Staff, location and food were great! Loved everything except the truffle oil on my wife's pizza. I didn't think that was still a thing. All the other dishes were fantastic! Nice beer and wine selection.
We went twice while in Missoula. Highly recommend the huckleberry lemon drop martini. The food is amazing and the views are gorgeous. The Clark Fork River is beautiful and the mountains behind it finish the amazing views. There were people trout fishing right out the window. The restaurant is well designed so almost every seat has amazing views. Can’t wait to go back!
The margherita pizza was fantastic. The crust was perfectly cooked and not too thick. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. This is a can’t miss dinner option. It’s also on the Happy Hour menu at a reduced price. The views of the river from inside and on the patio are stunning.
Was wondering if they could take their normal wings and bake them after sauced. Adam, my bartender was able to talk with Jared and create this. Outstanding!! thank you very much.
A nice surprise. Located in a hotel, but the space is BEAUTIFUL. We had a light lunch. Very nice. Tasty bar beverages, delicious pizza and french onion soup. Server was attentive, but not hovering. View of the river was fun, in the summer we were people watching the tubers and paddle boarders and others. Would definitely be interested in trying this place for dinner.
We love coming to stay here and dine at Finn. Angel at the bar was friendly, knowledgeable, and just a great dude … makes a solid old fashioned too. Can’t recommend more.
Absolutely the best meal we had during our entire week-long trip to Montana. The food was incredible, the setting was stunning, and Mia was beyond responsive and attentive as our server. Sitting on the patio overlooking the river made the whole experience even more memorable. I had the bone-in pork chop, which was cooked to perfection, and my wife had a phenomenal cheeseburger made with locally sourced beef. Everything from start to finish was top-notch. We’ll be talking about this meal for a long time.
Food, service, atmosphere, this place has it all! Stop by if you are in town. It is in a hotel, so you may pay a little more but the food and service is amazing!
I am not sure what was best - the view, the service (both bartender Ashley and server Lorenzo), or the food. They were all top notch. I had the grilled pork chop and my daughter had the halibut. Both of our meals were very tasty and cooked perfectly. Everything was served with a smile and like we were the most important people in the room at that moment, both at the bar and at the table. In spite of the renovations, once we got inside the restaurant it was clean, comfortable, and classy. We had drinks and dessert along with our meals, which made the bill for the two of us around $150. We definitely got our money’s worth!
I've been here many times. The food is always good. The ambiance is excellent! I've had a couple of poor waitstaff experiences, but always the same waiter. It's unfortunate, as the other waitstaff has been great!
Don't trust the menu or prices listed online! Overall the convenience of having this place attached to the doubletree we stayed at was great. The French onion soup was tasty, my mushroom pizza was pretty good but the halibut was dry. Also would recommend the olive oil cake.
The views are fantastic. You feel like you are part of the river! The hotel is under construction which makes finding the host stand in the restaurant an adventure. The signs are clear, it is just unexpected. The food was solid and satisfying with good presentation. The service was on the slow side but we didn't mind because the views were so good. Staff were friendly and good. The food just took a bit longer than expected.
Nice spot on the Clark Fork. Drinks were great! Pizza was good, fries were fantastic, steak salad was just OK—kinda chewy, breakfast was mid—hashbrowns were cold and scrambled eggs were a bit rubbery. But service was great every time!
This place dropped off my list of good restaurants for a long time, but I think it's back. My family went there for NYE dinner and we had a great time. Definitely returning when the deck opens this summer.
There are large expansive windows inside so even if you do not get a spot on the patio you can still watch birds fly over the river and enjoy the sunlight. The service staff are knowledgeable and attentive. The marrow jus on the rib eye paired with the fried brussels were my favorite!
This place has an amazing view and a great ambiance. Every bite of the food was delicious.
We are regulars for dinner service at Finn and have recently started coming for brunch as well. Dinner is great, the salmon is always delicious and the service is top notch. Brunch, on the other hand, has been disappointing. This past weekend, I ordered the mushroom crepes and asked to add some protein in the form of sausage, as I knew there was crumbled sausage for the breakfast pizza. I was told no and could only get bacon. In addition to that, the mornay sauce on the crepes was not rich and creamy as it should be, but rather thin, flavorless and watery. I will continue to come back for dinner, but will look elsewhere for brunch.
There is no doubt that FINN’s location deserved a five start rating, however, the building interior is quite nice but it is showing its age. My food was very bad. I made the mistake of ordering the salmon and no matter how much chili oil and cilantro you use, now fresh salmon still tastes like not fresh salmon. I was recommended to get the roasted cauliflower and that was not good either. The service was okay and the atmosphere very good. I would probably return for a drink and the view but definitely not for the food.
Good food and very nice waitress, but the woman who seated us (Harper) was not kind at all and dampened the experience significantly. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. We were sat at a table without a view (we did have a reservation) and when we asked if there were any other tables available, we were not spoken to in a kind manner.
Disappointing. The hostess was rude and they had overbooked their reservations. I had read so many reviews about the view and had planned ahead by making a reservation for four. When we got there, we were seated at a table by the kitchen and facing the bar. Two of us could only see the bar and the other two sort of had a view. When I asked the hostess if we could be be seated at another table since we had made a reservation, she was almost nasty. She said they had lots of reservations so basically too bad and not her problem. I had checked Open Table about an hour before and they were still taking reservations for all time slots including ours. If they were so full and had so many reservations, why were they still taking reservations? I will say the food was good, the cocktails were great, and our server was super nice. However there is no way I would spend $370 again to look at the kitchen and be treated rudely.
The ambiance was nice, but that’s where the positives ended. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally came, it was undercooked. The server was friendly but clearly overwhelmed. Prices were steep for what we got.
We had the Farro bowl and Grilled Chicken Sandwich. We could not have been more disappointed. It was my daughters bday lunch. She had been looking forward to this lunch for months. The chicken wasn't edible. We ended up having half of our house salads and shared the fries. Seems there has been quite a change in the restaurant.
I’ve eaten at FINN many times over many years. It used to have quality dinners, but now I’ve had such expensive meals that were very poorly plated, an uninterested male waiter who not once asked if we’d like more water or anything. The friend with me received a visibly wilted vegetable plate as a companion to her full meal. I would’ve sent it back and I’m not usually an ornery customer whatsoever. On another occasion I ordered the halibut that had always been my go-to meal. The server didn’t inform me that they were out of the accompanying vegetables and out of the crunchy boat that the halibut sat in. I was charged full price, over $50( two years ago) and they offered no compensation for the one item meal on some wilted lettuce. I won’t be back and that’s sad. They have the beautiful Clark Fork River and their quality might try to match the quality view. I’ve never felt the need to write a negative restaurant review. I’m sad to write this one.
Adam was the name of the bartender he was a total prick do not tip him. The waitress at the front was a horrible hostess think twice before you go to the resturant. They said they couldn’t seat 5 because of a fire hazard yet the manager could. These people are horrible rude and non approachable human beings. There was one manager who was human. But everyone else was rude in every single way. The only guy you should talk to was bald very good looking man with a beard he was awesome! Made it worth eating here. Not a 5 star more like. 2 star but I give it a 1 these people suck
Awful service. Called to make sure they were open on Labor Day and their hours. Showed up dressed very nice for our last night in town and they said they were only doing their late night fried food menu 1.5hrs before they closed. Waste of time and had no symphony or customer service skills. Would not recommend to anyone who doesn’t have much time in town.
When I was in i had a pretty good experience, great servers and front service. The food was pretty good, just a little pricey. But the reason i am giving this a low review is because when i was in i witnessed what i believed to be a manager being extremely rude to the servers and other staff, i asked the server on what the man’s name was and they said it was Eric.
