The super quesadilla half carne asada and half pollo asada is out of this world. The best i have tried.. the fajita chicken salad is very delicious as well. The chile relleno burritoo and the fajitas are worth the try too. The salsa bar is a super plus and their food is always tasty and fresh.

They did not give me combo fajitas, just chicken. There fix was a plate of the driest, unfavorable beef i ever tasted. By far worst fajitas ever. It was the special so I didn't realize it was 23$$$ after eating here over 20 years I think this was my last visit.

I used to love coming here for their vegetarian burritos (a mixture of delicious grilled veggies with the beans/rice etc), but their quality has slowly but surely declined to the point where it's just like every other place: beans, rice, cheese, lettuce and no real veggies.

Shrimp Ceviche was okay, pretty good but shrimps weren't cleaned well and that bothered me a lot. Overall taste was decent. Salsa bar is nice. Vibe is okay. Price is okay.

The decor is so cute. The staff are very friendly. I ordered a taco salad that had chicken broth/juice poured all over. It was more like a tortilla soup but still tasty. I would remove the juice and add some rice, and could barely taste the beans at the bottom, also it was a huge portion of chicken. My daughter ordered a chicken burrito that also had some runny juice/broth but she said it was good flavor wise. The cabbage dip at the bar was very salty and had no flavor. It was strange how fast the food came out. Unfortunately, I dont think we'll be back. If they lower their prices a bit and get customer feedback while they're dining they may, it would definitely improve.

My Two Cents

Service, cleanliness, presentation, and salsa bar are 5 stars. This place has potential, but if you're into plainer flavor it will do. Beans need lard and more flavor. The rice was dry and bland. The chiles rellenos were beautiful, but oily tasting (needed fresh frying oil). The beef stew taco was great! I put a variety of salsas on my food and managed to eat it. If I eat here again, I would stick to the tacos or try the burritos. Beautiful restaurant!

End of an era. I've been going to this place for 25 years. It's been a while since my last visit but I was absolutely shocked by the cost. The burrito was $15 which is understandable due to its size, but I was utterly shocked to learn that they now charge $20 for 2 tacos, rice and beans which is about half the volume of food. It should not cost $80 for take out taqueria for 5. I would expect this from an much higher end sid down restaurant. We will not be returning.

My husband ordered an asada burrito and they gave him pork. He also ordered me a chili verde burrito with avocado, beans and rice inside also. The meat was dry and crispy, it tasted like the sauce was just poured on the burrito right before it was wrapped instead of simmering the meat in the sauce. It had no rice. It was the worst chile verde burrito I've ever had in my life. Took 2 bites and I was done.

They have increased their menu prices substantially while at the same time decreasing the amount of food. If you order the three meat fajita, they only give you two meats. The price increase is not due to inflation but has everything to do with greed. I will never go back. There are much better options out there than this.

The nachos are soggy. Like very soggy and they are freshly ordered. There’s a pool of liquid under the chips making them soggy. There’s not a dry or crunchy chip in this order of nachos! How do they think this is okay? I don’t want soup nachos. Get it together because this isn’t the first time, Mis Compadres. Disappointed.

Used to be one of my favorite place till last night. Went to have dinner with the family. Ordered the usual. Soon as food got there, something didn't smell good. Checked my food it was good. But the kids nachos and the wife's enchilada plates didn't. The beans smelt sour. Thinking it was the cheese, my wife started to eat. First bite she about puked. Went up to tell the staff. They tried saying nothing is wrong with beans. But they grabbed the container of beans very quickly removed it. Maggie helped us out and made us new plates with whole beans instead of refried. Everything was ok till my daughter grabs a nacho and finds a hair in it. We were done after that. Told staff and was told by Maggie I'll give you money back. Then she gets on the phone calls the owner, owner said they couldn't do anything since they had already replaced food. Mind you we didn't eat any of the second plate of food. Wife asked to talk to manager and they try and give her the sorry we dont speak English. I go up there and talk to them ( I'm fluent in spanish) then all of a sudden they speak English. They took my number down and said you'll hear from owner. We left. Never again will I go eat there. Hope no one gets sick from those beans. Pics are from yesterday's food and receipt.
