Excelente atención en este pequeño restaurante con vistas al puerto de Es Castell. Pescado fresco y esquista cocina. Y el licor de hierbas todo un detalle para finalizar la comida.

The grilled sardines for the starter were grilled to perfection and tasted superb. The medium rare fillet steak for the main course was melt-in-your-mouth tender and is the best steak I've eaten in a long long time. Very attentive and friendly service. My lunch companions also enjoyed their dishes.

Trebol is always on our ‘go to’ list for our annual stay on the lovely island of Menorca and for very good reason! The service was as friendly and attentive as always and we overwhelmed by the quality of the food, opting again this time for the mixed fish grill platter. The quality and freshness of the fish remains the best we have experienced on the island. Yes, it is by no means the cheapest restaurant, but you certainly get what you pay for at Trebol and it is worth every Euro! What is also evident is that the restaurant enjoys the loyalty and continuity of its staff. Well done to the entire team at Trebol and keep up the fantastic work!

Amazing setting by the water in Es Castell. Good value for money. Really nothing bad to say. Just make sure to reserve in advance. Would definitely repeat.

We didn't book, so we ate inside, which was fine, but if you want a table overlooking the bay, you need to book. The staff were friendly and some spoke English. The food was really good, although the prawns seemed a little "dirty". We shared mushrooms to start, my husband ordered the prawns, and I ordered the sea bass, then shared between us. The sea bass was delicious. We then shared a brownie with vanilla ice cream. I had a glass of red rioja, and he had a beer. It came to €83 and was worth it.

A very nice lunch.., in maybe a semi formal dining style.., the place seems to attract a certain clientele. It is a well established restaurant we first visited maybe 25 or more years ago. The food was excellently cooked. The sizzling garlic prawns pil pil, perhaps the best we've had. The service was very professional too.

ordered the grilled turbot and fried monkfish, and I must say, the flavors were absolutely delightful and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for some flavorful grilled fish dishes instead of paella. By the way, their bread is also incredibly fresh.

Amazing seafood restaurant in Es Castell's Cales Fonts, just on the edge of the water. They have tables inside and outside. The outside part has heaters, which was very convenient as both nights we visited were quite chilly and made the dinner experience a lot more pleasant. The four different waiters/waitresses were all very welcoming and nice, they all spoke and understood English as well, which was really nice as unfortunately I don't speak Spanish/Catalan. They served olives before the starter, which was free of charge/on the house. Normal waiting time for the dishes, even though they were quite busy on both occasions. The food was amazing, we had sardines, sea bass and bream, and prawns, turbot and fried squid the other night. For me, personally, being from a country with no seas, the fresh seafood was life changing! The ratio of fish to sides was also really good, and portions were generous without being too much to handle. After desert, they served a local, Menorcan herb infused liquor, which again, was on the house. We were both very very satisfied with the service and the meals, we can only recommend Restaurant Trébol! I would advise you to phone ahead and book a table as the first time we saw this place, while walking around the area, they could not accept any walk in guests as they were fully booked for the night. Having eaten there, no wonder!

Es evidente que lo que funciona, y muy bien, desde hace años no necesita ningún cambio. Si lo que buscas es buen pescado fresco, bien trabajado con mucho respeto y sentirte bien atendido, sin dudarlo has de venir al Trébol. La amabilidad, la profesionalidad y sobretodo la honestidad del personal al atenderte no tiene precio. Aquí no engañan a nadie. Me atrevería en decir que es el mejor de Cales Fonts. Es un clásico de la isla! Es Castell, para mi, es el puerto más bonito de Menorca. Recomiendo visitarlo de noche para poder disfrutar de su encanto más auténtico. Hay mucha oferta gastronómica allí, pero ninguna como el Trébol. Muy buen producto tratado impecablemente. Recomiendo las ortigas, los mejillones, la sepia con calabacín, el rape frito con cebolla y las gambas. Este año he probado, por primera vez, el arroz caldoso. Brutal! No os vayáis sin probar el licor de hierbas! Raconets.

Un mítico, con sus naranjas, limones y cocos helados, con una carta cortita pero muy buena. Pedimos jamón ibérico, revuelto de gambas menorquinas y espárragos y sepia a la plancha con calabacín (la hubiera pedido sin mejor). Todo muy rico, la atención estupenda. Volveré!

Quality, service and location overlooking the harbor are top notch. I feel there is still a bit of a gap to get to the 5 stars. Traditional sea food based spanish menu. Octopus discs were razor thin. The fresh shrimp (a special not on the menu) were outstanding.
