Excellent experience, 10/10 service, everyone treats you phenomenally! The food is quality and very reasonably priced, the dishes are plentiful and delicious, and last but not least, the views and the beautiful location to eat or simply sit and have a drink. This isn't our first time here, and it's still a very pleasant place. When the weather permits, the terrace has a very pretty and peaceful setting. I think the food is generally good, although the truth is that we always order Iberian pork here. Sometimes it's very, very good, and other times it's simply delicious. In general, it doesn't disappoint, and they don't skimp on the quantity. The service is generally attentive and eager to do well. This last time, we were especially well served on the terrace by Manuel. Highly recommended.

The experience was spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness, the service was prompt, and the staff were extremely attentive at all times. We felt right at home. The food... delicious! We ordered the Iberian secret, which was delicious, the chorizos were spectacular, and some homemade croquettes that we loved. To round things off, we tried the desserts: pistachio mousse and mango mousse. Both were delicious, but the pistachio mousse definitely took the gold medal. The wine they recommended was a perfect pairing, and everything was excellent. Plus, we arrived early, which meant we were served right away. In short, this place is a must-stop if you visit the monastery. Eating here is an experience totally worth it.

My family and I ate there today, and I have to highlight the fantastic service from the waiters, especially the girl who served us—she was lovely and incredibly friendly. They have a varied menu with local products. We ordered a selection of homemade croquettes: mushroom, ham, spinach, and pork cheek. They were delicious and we really enjoyed them. They cost €14. Then we ordered a plate of potatoes with egg and chorizo, another with ham, and the Lithuanian burger. The portions were generous and tasty, made with real potatoes, not from a package, and they cost €12 each. All in all, a fantastic place to eat in a fantastic location. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't provide a tablecloth, but oh well, we'll definitely go back if we return. It's very important to note that they don't accept cards; you have to pay in cash.

We came to visit the monastery, and right next door is this magnificent restaurant. The food is superb, and the service is even better—friendly, polite, and welcoming. We ate in their dining room with a cozy fireplace. Definitely a restaurant to return to and recommend.

We had dinner with the family, ordering typical local dishes and products. Everything was delicious, with quality products and reasonable prices. The waiters were very kind and friendly. The only drawback I would point out is the lighting. We ate on the terrace, and perhaps it needed a bit more light. A pleasant place to eat with spectacular views.

A truly excellent experience. From the outside, it looks like a typical country house without much charm, but once inside, the atmosphere completely transforms, becoming cozy and homey, perhaps due to the fireplace in the living room and the reddish hue of the walls. There's also a more informal area at the bar, the waiters are fantastic, and the food is superb. The restaurant is nestled in nature, at the highest point in Badajoz, offering spectacular views. Oh, and of course, the grilled Iberian pork is a must-try.

Beautiful monastery and views and stunning.there is bar restaurant near by I don't know what they have as only had a coffee .the toilet is ok but the one in the monastery is better

Although it's a bit far from the village, it's well worth a visit for the views and the monastery, which you can visit freely for €1 (May 2018). The turnstile wasn't working, so the caretaker opened it for us after we paid, of course. You can see the chapel, the courtyard, and the tombs. Restrooms are available. Afterward, you can eat very reasonably priced at the restaurant/bar next door. Highly recommended.

Lovely old monastery on a very high hill. There is a café and free parking. The road to this place goes through some amazing country side. It is possible to go in the building at certain times of the day.

Restaurant in a natural setting, next to the area's finest monument, the Monastery of Tentudía, steeped in a beautiful legend. An old-fashioned restaurant serving locally sourced products and Iberian cured meats from the region. The menu is short but sufficient. I recommend the Iberian pork, which is incredibly flavorful. The ham is truly worth trying... and the homemade desserts are excellent. Attentive service. Orders were served promptly and at the perfect temperature. An ideal spot for autumn and spring. It has a fireplace. A lovely terrace for spring and summer, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. You can buy local products such as tomatoes, eggs, cured meats, olive oil, honey, and homemade sweets like piñonate (a type of nougat). We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately it was closed when we went here, however we were able to walk around the outside and loom at the amazing scenery. Will definitely return on our next visit to Monesterio and hopefully the monastery will be open.

La ultima ve que estuvimos comimos con muchísimo frío, solo tenían una chimenea encendida y tuvimos que comer con el abrigo puesto, la comida ha bajado de calidad, las croquetas de espinacas y piñones solo tenían espinacas y estaban mal fritas, la tabla de carne pichinpichan, el postre nos vino con la nata montada en mal estado y a la hora de pagar el hombre nos dice que no aceptan tarjeta después de que siempre se ha podido pagar, al final me cobraron con tarjeta pero como si me hicieran un favor y la vez anterior que llevé a mis padres reserve en la terraza y cuando llegamos allí nos dijeron que la terraza estaba llena y que tenía que ser dentro, son muchos detalles para cuatro veces que he ido y la quinta ya tardará más en llegar, también he de decir por contra que los camarer@s son super amables las cosas como son pero deberían intentar cuidar esas pequeñas cosas.
