Well run family restaurant in the back streets. Interesting and fun interior. All food but one plate was delicious. The pumpkin gnocchi was a bit simple and pumpkin flavors didn’t come through. The ravioli was perfect. Get the cheese plate too. Good wine selection and good recommendations.

The food is so delicious and extravagant. I had the carpaccio and pasta del plin - simple dishes with a lot of flavour. Located in a cozy back yard, and the staff is very friendly and serviceminded! Great wines as well.

We had the set menu . The veal tartare was an absolute delight, followed by a benchmark Tagliatelle and sorbet with fresh fruits. Lovely ambience and delightful hosts. Thoroughly recommended.

We wanted to go to a typical Italian restaurant from Piedmont, and the hotel recommended this Osteria. Simply amazing and the food and wine were both delicious. I would recommend it to anyone.

It is located in the town center of Monforte d'Alba. A lovely restaurant with young spirits. We are travelling the Langhe area for work. In these two weeks, we always dined out and this restaurant is really friendly. Our selection of local restaurants was a kind of guaranteed by our local winery clients who often organise work meetings in the area. They booked all restaurants for us. Still, this restaurant was a good surprise for us.The dishes are basically traditional but there is always a nice trendy arrangement and lovey food decorations. The taste was excellent. There were three set menu and we chose two of them then my colleague added one more meat dish. Everything was fine. The young staff who helped us to choose the wine. My colleague is a wine expert and she was really happy about how the staff explained about their wine selection. It's very easy to park the car near by the restaurant. The restaurant might not be suitable for wheelchairs. High recommended.

I’m here with a small group and they did a fixed menu for us. It was vegetarian, which is to my liking. The first dish was asparagus and a quail egg. The ends on the asparagus were a little bit tough/in my mind, not worth eating. I really enjoyed the pasta course, and the cheese plate. The dessert was a disappointment because I don’t like the taste of hazelnut, and it was three things that were hazelnut, but in normal circumstance you could choose your own dessert.

The strongest point of the restaurant is the wonderful decor and atmosphere as well as the service and wine. food correct but will be revelations. no less recommend to visit this place, great atmosphere for an evening out

Not impressed by the food. Too expensive compared to the quality and other restaurants in Montfort d’Alba. Location was good.

We didn’t have a great experience here. The service was not very attentive and they seemed to be understaffed considering they also have an outside area. The food was decent, but nothing special. We had risotto with red wine sauce and roast chicken. Some of the food was cold when it came out since the staff were so busy. The building itself is nice and unique, and the outside seating area looked nice. We ordered 2 coffees, and they brought out some cookies to have with it but they only brought 2 and there were 4 of us at the table. At every other restaurant we have visited in the Langhe they have always brought enough biscotti for everyone - seemed a little stingy!

Loved by the locals, unfortunately for me the food was nowhere near great. After so many great recommendations from the locals about this place, I was very disappointed. The raviolini I ordered was pretty bland. My husband had the risotto and was also not impressed

Food had no taste at all, was totally bland. This place is totally overrated and overpriced for what it is.

While our reservation was at 8, they thought it was 7.30 and gave away our table. Instead, they placed us next to the bar and let other people without reservation take better tables. Food is just modest and quite expensive for what you get, better options to find around. Only when we wanted to pay they offered us another table
