Ubicato sulla strada che da Palermo porta a Monreale, questo ristorante/pizzeria si presenta piuttosto accogliente ed informale. Personale affabile e disponibile alle richieste del cliente, ho avuto modo di provare la pepata di cozze e la grigliata mista di pesce (gamberoni, seppia e pesce spada), il tutto accompagnato da vino bianco della casa e focaccia col sesamo. Pesce fresco cucinato alla perfezione. Per finire, un dolce al pistacchio della casa ed un amaro alle erbe, il tutto per circa 25 euro, prezzo a mio parere molto onesto. Se passate da queste parti, ve lo consiglio. D'estate, il locale propone anche i tavoli fuori sulla veranda, con un colpo d'occhio suggestivo sulla città e la sua costa.

Posto splendido con vista su Palermo, in prossimità della fontana del drago. Giro pizza ottimo con antipasti locali veramente buono

Breathtaking view, easily accessible with convenient parking. Various appetizers (the caponata is sublime) are excellent, but the pizza (personal preference) is a bit too toasty. Appetizer/pizza/fruit and coffee for €20. Excellent value.

A very well-kept, pleasant place with a beautiful view of Palermo. I had a business dinner/meeting there, and we were able to chat peacefully even outside. The food was excellent, made with quality ingredients. Plenty of parking. The only serious flaw is the service, especially the bald waiter. He was unhelpful. While waiting for my guests, I asked for a glass of wine and a bag of chips, and he made an expression like "I'm an idiot for asking for those chips in a restaurant." But aside from that, I noticed that he was equally arrogant and completely unhelpful with all the other tables. It's a shame; someone like that detracts from the quality of the place.

I visited Locanda del Drago with my family, a restaurant with parking and a large terrace overlooking the city of Palermo. The place appears well-kept and clean, the staff is courteous and helpful, the food is good quality, both for pizzas and for the restaurant. Last but not least, if you have an intolerance or don't like any of the ingredients in the pasta dishes, you can request that they be omitted. This indicates that the toppings are made to order and not pre-prepared and stored. Good value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant/pizzeria.

Excellent pizza to eat on a terrace overlooking Palermo, the restaurant is located almost in Monreale, along the old road. Try the pizzas with mascarpone, they're the best.

The atmosphere isn't bad; it's cute and welcoming, especially the outdoor area. I went on a warm evening, and that didn't help matters... Bring a repellent; mosquitoes are deadly. The waiters are very kind and professional. As for the food, I did the "pizza tour." Honestly, I didn't like the pizza; the dough was too heavy and compact... the ingredients were of average quality, and the sauce was too sour. But that doesn't mean they're not skilled at traditional cuisine... Alas, I haven't tried it.

I had dinner here. It's a beautiful location, the service is perfect, and the food is good, but the table was swarmed with wasps and bees. Dining was extremely difficult and annoying. This problem should be addressed, as it completely ruins the meal, and if someone with allergies were to get bitten, it would be a serious problem. I recommend pruning the bush next to the tables, on the right, and checking for any hives.

I returned to this place after a few years and I have to say that the pizza disappointed me! the appetizers were good, the service was friendly and fast, the pizza was saltless both in the dough and in the tomato, the capricciosa was not very seasoned with two olives and a sausage, the sauce dried up immediately because there was very little of it! too bad, the previous time it was definitely better! the climate and the view of Palermo were excellent!

Expectations were high since the place was always packed... Unfortunately, the pizza base reminded me a lot of the frozen one from Conad (biscuit-based). Good ingredients.
