I love this place! Best spot for Chinese food in Monroe. There are lots of options and I love the flavor. I would recommend getting the General Tso's chicken and the chicken wings.

I visited this restaurant while in town and ordered the mixed vegetables with fried rice. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful and well-prepared. While it was a bit on the oily side, the taste more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend this place to others and plan to visit again the next time I'm in town!

I tried this Chinese restaurant recently and really enjoyed the food. I have been to most Chinese restaurants in Monroe and this was by far my favorite. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. What I appreciated the most was the big, juicy pieces of chicken (some places seem to give little scraps), it was substantial and delicious. The fried rice was really good too - plump rice (not dry). I ordered the food through deal dash and it arrived within 30 minutes and nice and hot. Thank you for a wonderful meal - I will be back!

This is my Favorite Chinese Eatery and my Father who is not Big on Asian Cuisine Swears by it, The Freshness of the Sesame Chicken is as better as any Chinese Restaurant I’ve had or Reviewed, The Eggrolls and Crab Rangoons I also gotta say are the best part of the Place as well.

Really enjoyed the food and was very impressed by the amount of precaution they’re taking with the whole pandemic happening. Everything was very clean and they have very little to no contact with customers which is amazing! Really makes me feel like they care about customer safety which is so important in the food industry right now!!! Very happy!!!

The people here are awesome!!! They speak great English so they can easily make any dish to your liking. If they tell you 35 min for delivery it will be 20. Foods excellent! I've had Chinese food all over the country and as far as quality and consistency is concerd they have down to a science. My Tofo with garlic sauce was perfect! Crispy & cruchy, sauce was lovely spicy, sweet,salty, garlicky. Five stars hands down! Best delivery that I've had in Monroe in the month that I've been here. Will definitely order again!

It's got a really great curry flavor and a little bit of kick to it in the form of spicy heat. The main thing that makes Wah Mei rise above the rest of the local Chinese takeout is that their different dishes actually have unique flavors. Too often these joints have a "brown" sauce and a "clear/white" one and a "sweet" one. Sesame chicken? Use the sweet. General Tso? Sweet + some chili pepper. With Wah Mei the kungpao and cashew chickens actually taste different from each other! I highly recommend if you're in the mood for some great Chinese takeout. The roast pork lomein is fantastic as well.

This place is cash only. The is good and always nice and hot. It's a small place so at least 99.5% of the business is takeout. They so gave a couple of tables where you can sit and eat.

As a cherished childhood memory, Wah Mei held a special place in my heart, symbolizing family gatherings filled with laughter and delectable Chinese cuisine. However, revisiting the restaurant after many years revealed a disappointing decline in food quality and overall experience.

Update 5/20/2022: Went here yesterday for takeout for dinner. Ordered over the phone as follows: Chicken with mixed vegetable combo with white rice, Chicken with brocoli with pork fried rice, Orange chicken with all white meat, and pan fried wontons. All for $49.00/ $50.00 for 3 people! Went home, opened the bag, and found that they forgot to add the white rice to my combo! not again! Also, the food seemed a little bit salty. The pan fried wontons were okay tho, and the white rice that my dad had was also okay (and luckily was able to have some of his white rice!) Understand it happens, but this is the 2nd time that they screwed up the order. Anyways, maybe i'll be back to try this again! Update 5/3/2022: This is a 1st for them. Went here yesterday for dinner, i ordered the pan fried wontons, orange chicken with all white meat, a eggroll and the chicken with mixed veggies combo. Everything else came out okay, but we were given FRIED Wontons instead. The person who i placed the order with even went over with me the order, but somehow missed that i suppose. I understand it happens, but we didn't really care for the fried wontons. For a monday night they also was less busy, and food was ready quicker. may be back. Before i start, i've been here pre and post pandemic. My family and i get chinese food here as our other place to go that is in the area can be busy. We've gotten food here tons of times before. Today, we needed dinner, so we decided on Chinese food- called our usual place, but they were busy to accomdate a request that is usually done all the time. We ordered Orange Chicken with all white meat, pan fried wontons, Chicken with brocoli combo, and the Chicken with mixed veggie combo with white rice. Food was ready on time, and was delicious. Will be back sometime again! Also cash only- but i feel that it's no big deal.

Just moved here and was not impressed. The staff was nice, but the food was unappealing to me. Neither the beef or chicken was what I consider normal texture. Fried Rice was fluorescent yellow. I'll be trying other locations.

Maybe they never do this but they did today and all I can say is wah mei indeed 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I called in the order and the place was not even busy when I arrived... so dont get back to me in the comments with excuses as to why the chicken was undercooked. Lucky house in the Shoprite plaza isn't the best... but when it comes to this dish which is pretty simple, I dont usually feel the need to worry about salmonella. On top of all that... not a single soy,duck sauce, utensil, or napkin was included in the bag. Thank God Tosco's next door doesn't suck like this place does.

I didn't feel the meat was fresh. I ordered $60 in food and was sent 2 packets of soy sauce! Come on man
