Great food and atmosphere. Waiter was so nice he created nachos bc they didn’t have any and it was amazing. Kids enjoyed their pulled pork sandwich and burger. I got fish and chips it was great maybe a lil too buttery for me. My husband got Shepard pie and it was great as well.

we were here for dinner. we sat outside at a table with an open fire overlooking the ocean. very nice atmosphere. we ordered New York steak and lamb loin chops - they were delicious.

On a recently concluded trip from Dallas, TX to San Jose, CA My Family and I paid a visit here after a day trip to Gilroy and Monterey, and decided to stop here for lunch and had a blast! The food was oh so good and the adult beverages were phenomenal. My Family and I highly recommend that y'all stop and take this preciously decorated and oh so colorful place and people in. As a Brit I try really hard not to default and hunt out England in the US. Normally you’ll be disappointed by theme bars and fads. But this time I am proven completely wrong, and I’m really happy to admit this! We had fish and chips, of course, and it was simply one of the best I have tasted! Fish was cooked to perfection and the malt vinegar was like the cherry on the top of the cake. Sadly we were only in Monterey a couple of days or we would occasionally tried the cottage pie next!! Oh and I later found out the owner was actually a Brit. So thank you sir for serving up a wonderful piece of our home land.

This place has a great atmosphere that I really enjoyed. I also like the fire place tables so fun to look at. The clam chowder i had was ok but certainly not the best I've had. The bangers and mash were alright too. I would recommend the fish and chips I had them on a previous visit. The service was slow this time and not attentive as I had to wave down my waiter multiple times.

I love a good fish and chips and we went with high expectations on a Friday evening after thanksgiving. Maybe the time wasn’t the best? But the food wasn’t all that great. The fish was okay. The fries were unbelievably bland. Really needed some flavor, maybe a little bit of salt.

When I moved to Monterey 27 years ago this was the first place I went. 27 years later it’s still great. The Guinness was a perfect poor and the patio seating next to the bay was beautiful. We also tried the cod nights after a few beers and we were pleasantly surprised.

Gluten Free, ate with no bad reaction. They have some good gf options. Service was slow, staff was nice. Not crazy about the atmosphere but was ok. We are outside. Shepard's pie a very good but so hot... Couldn't eat until the party I was with were nearly done with their meal. Burned my mouth a few times, even with blowing on it.,. Never had a meal served that hot before.... But it was really good once I actually got to eat it. If you are Celiac ... Worth it for some of their options.

This place is really beautiful right on the pier and perfect pub food. We ate outside during the busy holiday weekend and it was really really enjoyable. The food was great , perfect pub food with a mix of seafood. We had the clam chowder bread bowl, burger, calamari, onion straws and crab shrimp sliders. Will be back again

Wanted to like it coming in and had a postive outlook but in the end I did not enjoy. Service wasn't the best, never came back to ask for refills. Had to ask them for the check bc they forgot to come check on us. Wouldn't recommend people to come here. Food tasted like it was previously frozen. They also failed to say goodbye and thanks for coming to the establishment. I would not come back nor would any guest that came with. Fries were soggy and no salt. Fish was chewy and lacking flavor. Thanks for the opportunity. Beef was dry and old tasting.

It was a slow Wednesday afternoon. Only 5 or 6 full tables. We were seated fast but it took close to 10 minutes to place our full order. The food came out fast but my fish wasn't cooked enough as the batter was still runny inside. I would have sent it back but we never saw our server again. We had to go hunt down an employee so we could pay and leave. The total was $164 for 5 people and I had planned on a 50% tip but left nothing.

Food was just okay… atmosphere was really cool… our server was unhelpful, came only once to ask what we needed, she stayed at the bar for 40 minutes straight talking to a guy instead of helping us. Seemingly because she already got a promised 18% because of our party size…
