Ideal any time of day, we had an aperitif snack of cheeses and polenta. Good service, friendly and helpful staff. It feels like we've stepped back in time, with bread rolls and glasses of wine. From the center, a narrow street leads to the restaurant, which feels like being at the edge of the world with a panoramic view of the valley.

It should be noted that this isn't a restaurant, but a rustic hillside trattoria serving platters of local cured meats and cheeses. The wine is also local. The menu isn't extensive, but since, as I said, it's a home-style trattoria, that's fine. I didn't try the polenta because it was very hot, but the rest of the food was very good. The relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere and beautiful views of the plain complete the picture. It's not accessible by car, but it's a short walk from the square through the fields and vineyards (about 250 meters from the square).

Posto incantevole. Si pranza guardando lo skyline di Milano e il monte Rosa. Ambiente familiare. Cibo di buona qualità: salame cotto, mortadella di fegato, formaggini di Montevecchia, uova al guancia…

The indoor dining area isn't particularly beautiful, but the outdoor spaces with their enchanting views more than make up for it. It's a charming, old-world place. The owner is truly courteous and helpful. Be careful! In the fall and winter, they decide whether or not to open based on the weather; it's best to check if it's open. The owner updates the opening hours daily.

A magical place in Montevecchia, just a 5-minute walk from the center. A beautiful view of the Po Valley and the sanctuary. Fair prices, good food. A very simple restaurant, I really enjoyed it.

Very nice location. Simple, good food. Service is a bit slow and inattentive, but overall it's acceptable.

Sergio De Molfetta

Exactly what you'd expect and what it's been for decades. The location is 6-star for the view and the three terraces available. The veranda is also lovely, and the service is good and precise. The menu is classic.... Good cured meats and the typical local cheeses, the famous goat's cheeses, although made with cow's milk. Reservations are required if you don't want to wait. Prices are fair.

Great beer, mushrooms on the pizza were noir fresh, however. There's probably a better pizza place somewhere around. Haven't tried the burgers, but seems like burgers are popular

The place is a little basic but being in the countryside it's okay... the view is spectacular.

It certainly has beautiful views. A rustic spot, where you can enjoy a glass of local wine with a platter of cured meats or mountain cheeses. It's not the best, but being surrounded by nature, it's very relaxing, a pleasant afternoon in good company.
