Really nice cozy place to enjoy your drink or cafe by the small river. The staff is very friendly and they speak English! I would totally recommend it if you want something less touristic in Monza

Ampia varietà di prodotti salati e dolci. Presentazione attraente, locale di medie dimensioni. Servizio attento e cortese. Qualità dei prodotti media, non alta come suggerito da programmi televisivi. Costi superiori alla media. Ottima la localizzazione vicino al centro di Monza e alla Cattedrale, in una piazzetta lungo un corso d'acqua molto suggestivo.

I arrived around 5:30 PM. The tables were 20 centimeters apart. I could hear the conversations of the people at my neighbors more than the voice of the friend I was sitting with. The pigeons were eating the crumbs from the next table. And to make matters worse, the waitress asked me to pay immediately, not after I'd finished my drink, looking at me like I was a thief. There was no receipt. Congratulations. I wanted to order another drink, but I got up and went to another bar for an aperitif. Terrible.

Nice place that we wanted to go to try as we saw in one Italian baking program. There is a nice a choice of products to try and looks good quality. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the aperitif as comparing photos of previous customers we saw that platters ( for 2 person) were much bigger than what we received. I don’t know if this is due to the time as we went after 19:00. Anyway still want to try to come before 19:00 next time. Have to say that focaccia is tasting very nice. And also pastries were looks nice so will definitely come for a breakfast.

Non esprimo giudizi sui prodotti perché non mi è stato concesso di assaggiarli. Siamo arrivati di domenica mattina, erano circa le 11.45/12. Ci sediamo fuori in un tavolo da due, appena arriva il personale per prendere l'ordinazione, noi volevamo fare colazione (di domenica mi sembra più che legittimo anche a quell'ora) appena dico un caffé (avremmo però preso anche un cappuccino e qualcosa da mangiare dolce/salato ma non mi stato nemmeno possibile continuare l'ordinazione) mi viene comunicato che l'orario per la caffetteria è passato e quindi nei tavoli all'esterno è possibile fare solo l'aperitivo e la colazione era possibile solo al banco, ma a quel punto ce ne siamo andati. È la prima volta che mi capita una cosa di questo tipo, mai in nessul locale mi era successo. Poi non stiamo parlando di un locale stellato, una semplice panetteria/pasticceria/caffetteria quindi non tiratevela troppo.

Seduti in attesa per almeno 25-30 minuti senza essere serviti, anzi, ignorati dalle pseudo "lavoratrici" che tutto son sembrate tranne che del mestiere. Ignorati, anche post richiamo dell'attenzione del personale, mi verrebbe da dire per essere quantomeno "considerati". Altri tavoli, tra cui anche quello di fianco al nostro e che ovviamente è arrivato anche dopo, sono stati tranquillamente serviti. Al terzo richiamo del personale un suono rieccheggiava nell'etere... "Arriviamo... Subito", suono che da lì a pochissimo è diventato l'ennesimo eco volto a ripetersi, disperdersi e affievolirsi sempre più. Un servizio che è meglio non commentare oltre anche perché non si potrebbe definire nemmeno come tale. Ci siamo alzati e siamo andati via. Complimentissimi per il servizio, forse qualcuno dovrebbe seriamente considerare di fare altro nella vita. Leggo nei feedback anche che non siamo stati gli unici, mi s-compiaccio, anche e soprattutto del fatto che all'esercente nemmeno interessi approfondire/riscontrare tali evenienze. Diffidate gente, diffidate da tali "imprenditori" che a prescindere dall'eventuale servizio/prodotto, non conoscono cos'è anzitutto il rispetto del "cliente". Ricordiamo a tali pseudo imprenditori che sono i clienti a gara tiragli la sopravvivenza.

Absolutely don't go if you don't want to get ripped off. 2 crodini, 1 beer for €33, and 1 small plate of pizza for 1 person for €30. Shame on you.

They deliberately over charge you if they think you are a tourist, be careful and check the prices, especially with drinks. We speak fluent Italian and have lived here for years, but they presumed we were tourists because we spoke English together as a family. Not a good experience unfortunately with poor quality food served (nothing like the photos online).

BAD SERVICE I went there on a Saturday morning for breakfast. After queuing at the register to pay, the cashier told me I should sit down since there was table service and I'd pay after I'd ordered. I asked to order at the counter, so the cashier told me I'd pay later directly at the counter. At the counter, there was a very slow girl trying to make coffee. It was full of dirty cups and trays full of dirty plates and napkins. Only one waitress was serving the tables; people had been waiting a long time for their orders, visibly annoyed. I left after about 15 minutes without ordering anything. Terrible experience.
