We arrived in the early evening and received a warm welcome before being escorted to our table by the windows overlooking the Mediterranean Sea — a truly lovely setting. The service throughout was attentive yet unobtrusive. We began with two glasses of fine champagne, served with great aplomb: the glasses were chilled with ice at the table and the champagne poured expertly. A very tasty amuse-bouche followed, along with an offer of warm bread and aioli; we opted for the aioli alone, which was the perfect accompaniment. For starters, I chose seared scallops with a pine-nut velouté — unusual and very flavoursome — while my partner selected mussels in the shell with a julienne of vegetables, beautifully presented in a large hot pot. Both dishes were excellent. A thoughtful touch was being asked how long we wished to wait before the main course, allowing us a short and welcome pause. Our dishes arrived precisely on time and looked fantastic. My fillet steak with foie gras was cooked exactly to my liking, and my partner’s special of turbot was again prepared and presented to a very high standard. The wine service was equally delightful: champagne in ice-chilled glasses, followed by the careful decanting of a fine Rioja, and finishing with a glass of Château Climens 2008 with dessert. Overall, Amantes de Moraira delivered a thoroughly satisfying fine-dining experience — impeccable service, excellent food and wine, and, considering the quality, very good value for money.

Amantes de Moraira is a delightful resturant situated right on the seafront with fabulous views out into the Mediterranean Sea. The welcome is excellent, the team interested and engaging with attentive service through your. I had dinner with my family yesterday evening, three course with wine and limoncello digestif. The Red tuna mail was particularly flavoursome and cooked excellently. All were of an excellent standard, presented impeccable all served over a setting sun. The location comes into its own on the veranda as the natural sunlight fades and the artificial lights across the bay illuminate. The atmosphere is smart but relaxed and very welcoming to families and individuals alike. Highly recommended dining experience

Lugar muy muy bonito, cumple las expectativas de la información que obtienes por Google. La comida muy bien steek tartar sabroso y bien trabajado, gamba blanca al ajillo bien sin más, el arroz del senyoret bien hecho de esos arroces que de primeras no te vuelven loco pero a medida que vas comiendo más te satisface. De postre diferentes variedades de tartas de queso, bien el variado. Si te gusta el blanco, probamos el Triay, es muy top!. La atención no está mal, esperamos un poquito de más para el arroz pero se entiende también para que nos sirvieran el vino (que acabamos sirviendonoslo nosotros) males menores. El sitio idílico con gran cocina y atención cuidada. Sin embargo, lo que menos nos gustó, por decir algo, fue la fideuá. Muy recomendable, el pulpo ahumado y los mejillones con ají amarillo. Si eres atrevido con los sabores fusión, los mejillones son perfectos.

Very expensive. Quality is fine. Portions are fine. The location is awesome. I recommend coming here in the summer and sitting on the terrace - they play piano and the ambience is stellar. La trágica historia del pan y el agua. El restaurante está muy bien: buena comida, buen servicio y buen ambiente. Pero lo realmente inolvidable no fue el plato principal… sino la estafa mística del pan y el agua. El pan llega a la mesa con cara de “detalle de la casa”, y resulta que cuesta 7€. Por ese precio esperaba que al menos viniera con un diploma firmado por el panadero. Y el agua… 9,50€ la botellita. A ese precio, pensé que me iban a dejar llevarme la fuente entera o que incluía sesión de spa en el manantial de origen. Conclusión: se come bien, pero he pagado el pan como si fuera caviar y el agua como si fuera champán. 🍾😂

We visited Amantes in Moraira and had the crayfish and garlic paella. The food itself was genuinely good – well-cooked, nicely seasoned, and flavorful. The setting is beautiful and the staff were friendly and professional throughout. That said, we were disappointed by the portion size. The paella for two came with just four crayfish, and while the taste was good, it simply wasn’t enough food. My girlfriend, who normally isn’t a big eater, was still hungry afterward. Being from Norway, I’m used to eating 10+ crayfish with bread in a sitting, so getting two each felt underwhelming – especially as this was the main dish. When we asked, the staff confirmed the dish was meant for two people. With just one beer, a glass of house wine, and the paella, the bill came to €101. While that’s not excessive in itself, it didn’t feel like good value compared to other restaurants in Moraira offering more generous portions for similar or lower prices. Great atmosphere and service, but the portion-to-price ratio didn’t quite meet our expectations

Tenía muchas expectativas con este sitio y ha sido una decepción, es un sitio que no repetiría ya que su atención es fatal, estuvimos casi media hora esperando solo para que nos trajeran la carta, incluso tuve que pedirla porque no nos traían nada. Todo lo que pedíamos tardaba para que lo trajeran y para que te mirara un camarero y te atendiera era peor. Respecto a la comida, la paella estaba muy buena, pero la tarta de queso ES LA PEOR que he comido. Lo único que rescato es que es un sitio bonito y con buenas vistas.

Aunque las vistas del restaurante son realmente impresionantes, no lo recomendaría por su relación calidad-precio. Conocíamos de antemano el tipo de establecimiento y sus precios, que habíamos consultado previamente en internet. No obstante, nos sorprendió que nos cobraran 9 € por una botella de agua de cristal rellenable. Me parece excesivo pagar esa cantidad por agua, independientemente de lo bonita que sea la ubicación. En cuanto a la comida, estaba todo bastante bueno, pero considero que los precios son muy excesivos en relación con las cantidades que se sirven.

Nos lo encontramos por casualidad de visita por moraia , nos dio buena impresión y pasamos a cenar , el sitio bonito , seguramente con buenas vistas pero como era de noche no se apreciaba, nos atendieron bien , ahora viene el porqué de la decepción, creo que está enfocado a un publico más turistico de fuera , ya que la carta justita en variedad , pedimos pulpo , estaba bueno( bien de sabor , blandito , la crema buena melosita sin llegar a ser líquida) , jamón supuestamente de bellota (lo cual para el precio que tiene deja mucho que desear "34e", ni el sabor ni la presentación era lo esperado ), un pedacito de pan casi 4 e ,no se ,creo que la relación calidad precio no se ajusta mucho , nos hubiera dado igual pagar ese precio si valiera la pena pero no nos dejo buena sensación.

We had a lovely table with a beautiful view. Food was nice but not exceptional. Prices of the food were ok but the drinks were expensive. € 4.80 for a Fanta and € 9.50 for a bottle of water?? There are enough restaurants in the vicinity of this one which serve food that leaves you in awe and where overall prices are more in balance with what you get. The location of Amantes is beautiful but then again... In this surroundings at the coast that's not hard to find at other restaurants. We go out for diner every week, at different places around here but this experience was definetely one of the lesser ones.

Aunque la comida estaba bien... Y los camareros fueron majos (eso sí había muchos y la mitad no hacían nada o estaban perdidos)... Lo siento no os puedo dar más de una estrella... De verdad una botella de agua de 800ml vale 9 euros?? Encima... Nos bebimos 3... Me parece un robo en toda regla... 2,4 litros de agua 27 euros... Ahí dejo la cuenta en las imagenes. Es una pena pq lo que pedimos estuvo rico y las vistas del sitio son bien bonitos...

A pesar de que la paella estaba muy buena y el lugar es espectacular, la atención y la lentitud nos llevaron a tener una mala experiencia. Primero nos habían colocado en una mesa de 4 cuando éramos 6 en la reserva, en ese momento fueron amables y nos pusieron una solución pero al colocar otra mesa al lado, una mesa se quedó vestida con sus platos bonita y la otra sin mantel ni nada, nos trajeron un mantel pequeño que no era acorde con la mesa mucho más tarde, pero bueno estos son detalles que tampoco habría ni mencionado pero al final todo suma, nada más llegar pedimos la paella a la vez que las bebida porque íbamos con 2 niñas para que pudieran comer más rápido, las bebidas tardaron muchísimo en servirlas, de hecho las pedimos dos veces, pedimos la comida a las 15:15 y llegó a las 16:40, pedimos más agua durante la comida, unas 3 veces y llegó justo antes de irnos, nunca trajeron el pan, veíamos el pan por otras mesas con una pinta increíble, nos quedamos con las ganas, fuimos a mostrar nuestro desconecto al gerente y ni se paraba para hablar con nosotros seguía andando…Quiero dar las gracias a un camarero alto con el pelo rizado que era la persona que nos solucionaba todo cuando le decíamos. Mi sensación fue que estaban desbordados pero no cojas más reservas de las que puedes gestionar y si lo haces, discúlpate y ten otra actitud para que nos vayamos más contentos y si hubiera sido así esta reseña habría sido diferente.

Vinimos hace un par de años y nos gustó. Hoy por ser un día especial hemos querido repetir pero ésta vez la experiencia ha sido muy mala, calor insoportable, un ventilador para toda la terraza exterior y el resto apagados. Arroz de bogavante meloso HORRIBLE, el arroz estaba duro como se puede apreciar en la foto que adjunto y el bogavante la parte de las pinzas crudo, y mencionar que una botella de agua 9 €… estamos locos ???? No vendremos más , desde Alicante centro para nada. Nos vamos con muy mal sabor de boca

La comida buena pero sin consultar te sirven agua a 9 euros la botella de 750 cc. Éramos 9 personas, cayeron 6 botellas de agua.....es una estafa y además en la carta es el único precio que no aparece. Me parece absurdo engañar asi a la gente cuando estás en un sitio y con un producto muy bueno.

Scammers. The type of restaurant experience that can ruin your vacation. They offered us a free appetizer - and offered bread with it. Then you get the bill and see they charged 3e per small piece of bread. Food was just ok. Lives up to the saying, "The better the view, the worse the restaurant." I ate at other restaurants in Moraira which were tastier, more affordable, and didn't trick me into paying for overpriced bread that I didn't ask for.

When we were in front of the restaurant to wait for our car a Belgian couple came out and said to us: don't go in there. That is a desaster here. Our opinion; 5 stars for the Belgian couple. All the negative google feedbacks are true. We had to pay 7 Euros for to pieces of bread too and to pay much to much. And a petition to the restaurant; please don't give a reply to our comment. Each of your replies are a bad joke.

The restaurant has a beautiful setting with great potential, but unfortunately our dining experience didn’t match the surroundings. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality, and service was very slow. We waited an unusually long time for our mains and had to approach staff ourselves to be attended to. We were also surprised to find an additional charge for bread we hadn’t ordered or been informed about. When we raised this with the manager, his response was very rude and dismissive and we were simply told “this is standard practice for the area”. With better service, better management, and improved food quality, this could truly be an outstanding place so the experience was very disappointing.

We came to this restaurant with our kids. The view is beautiful. The hall is very large with many tables, but only three were occupied. We looked at the menu and the prices were extremely high. We ordered drinks for everyone and decided not to have dinner here. We told the waiter about this. After that, the administrator named Oran came to us and said he found it “not normal” to only drink in their restaurant after reserving a table. I calmly explained that the place was simply too expensive for us. His response was that we should have checked the menu online beforehand. The administrator was very rude and unpleasant. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone!

The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, our experience did not match this. On arrival there was heavy rain and having booked an outside space we were told that we had to wait until they had dried our table, this took over 30 minutes. Whilst our group of 8 including young children and elderly relatives were made to stand waiting we saw staff leading customers who arrived after us to tables, which we could clearly have been given. After eventually being led to our seats, the one and only course we ordered did not arrive for over an hour. The chickpea curry was cold and the paella was decidedly average, it was dry and the portion was small, this was a dish supposedly for 2 people! We felt that we were ignored throughout the evening and left to our own devices, our food only arrived after prompting staff for a third time. After raising our disappointment with the manager we found him to be rude, arrogant, abrupt and dismissive of our concerns. We have eaten at several restaurants in Moraira during our stay at various price points and can honestly say that this worst restaurant of our holiday. It is over priced, serving average food at best with very poor service. In summary over priced, average food and very rude management. We would not recommend.
