La comida muy buena y el servicio excelente, muy amable el personal. Me agrado mucho el espacio y la atención, el chocolate de nuez 10/10 y la torta de milanesa muy completa, el servicio muy atento y amable.

Es un lugar divino, la primera cafetería a la que vengo en esta travesía, únicamente tomé un frappe de caramelo, el cual estaba delicioso. La atención es rápida y muy amable. Las vistas del centro histórico están divinas, ves a la gente ir de aquí para aquí y todo se ve lindo. Deseo regresar y probar más platos del menú aunque en este momento lo que probé se me hizo delicioso. Aunque mi experiencia fue en la parte de afuera del restaurante, por dentro es hermoso, tienen como una librería de la cual puedes comprar los libros que están en exhibición, y le da un toque muy bonito a la visita. El pago fue con tarjeta, $90.00 el frappe, y adjunto el menú para que se hagan una idea de los precios.

We sat inside on a Friday for brunch, it was a great experience. Service can be a bit slow, if you have time and are not rushed or hangry, you will love this spot in the middle a very busy downtown. We had the French toast and the Croque Monsieur and enjoyed both. I spent the entire morning working from there and never had an issue with noise, however the internet is not strong enough, I had to use my phone’s data most of the time. Their coffee is really good and strong (a must for us) Perfect for breakfast or for a break during the day!

This place is amazing! It’s located in the Morelia downtown cathedral area but on the side not facing it. I tried this on my last night in the city and felt disappointed I didn’t visit/found it before. Had a yummy iced Nutella coffee and my dad had a cacao hot chocolate which they brew. Highly recommend this one compared to the surrounding ones. They have lactose-free milk, almond and coconut milk if you would like a diary free option. Also if they read this please add oat milk to your menu! The pastries just as delicious and not over sugary. Also a shoutout to our Aurelio for being so knowledgeable and sweet.

El mole que probé estuvo rico. el servicio un poco lento, y estar sentado afuera esta rico, pero mucha pasa y piden y no te deja disfrutar a gusto. Si eso no les molesta se pueden Sentar adentro.

Es un lugar que al entrar destaca su librería. La atención es rápida y muy amable, pero esta se entorpece al momento que el establecimiento tiene todas sus mesas llenas. Las vistas del centro histórico son hermosas, a cualquier hora. Los precios son aceptables.

The restaurant had an excellent ambiance, and the food was good. However, the portions were not very large, and I felt they did not match the price. That said, the flavor was outstanding, and the waitstaff were very kind. The service was a bit slow—it took about 25 minutes for our food to arrive—but it was understandable given how busy the place was. The location is wonderful. If you sit outside, you can enjoy a view of the city’s main garden and the cathedral. However, be prepared for beggars and street vendors passing by. Inside, you can admire the bookshelves, which add to the charm. Overall, it’s a very nice place to visit.

If you don't expect perfection I think you'll find this place to be quite nice on the inside. If you choose to sit down outside it can get really busy and noisy and the service can leave a lot to be desired. On the inside of the coffee shop you can enjoy a quiet conversation and take a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Morelia. Downsides are that service can be somewhat slow and the bathroom was in a very sad state. For some, the shape of a bathroom shows you what shape the kitchen is in so tread carefully. Pricing is high so it will be out of range for most budget travelers but other folks should be just fine. I had the 5 chili hot chocolate which was very nice but nothing out of this world. The book store part is not to be missed on the inside, it really is a very nice space.

Beautiful café and bookstore with a refined antique feel, nestled in a fenomenal historical quadrant of downtown Morelia. The pastries are quite tasty and if you 'special order' churros, they will bring them to you from next door. I had a traditional hot chocolate and it was well served as expected: not sweet, with a strong cacao taste and cacao floating bits. The portions are rather small and the beverages temperature not hot enough. Service was very friendly, but beware.. there is usually a wait list. Overall a very nice place to sit and enjoy the colonial feel of this magical city.

Hablemos honestamente de este lugar. Se volvió una parada si o si para el turista por su buena ubicación. La vista que se puede admirar ya sea desde la ventana o si estás sentado afuera en el portal es grandiosa. El el paso del tiempo he visto que el lugar a bajado su calidad y subido muchos sus precios. Claro es el lugar perfecto para una foto con libros la decoración que va acorde con lo que es una ciudad colonial pero y ya. Un café 80 más o menos y que se sienta que el café le falta aroma y sabor. La selección de chocolates no hay sin azúcar o a base de agua. El lugar seguirá siendo parte de la ciudad y una parada para los turistas pero creo que hay mejores lugares en la ciudad donde tomarse una rico rico café a mejor precio y de mejor calidad Como nota extra, creo que podrían ofrecer mejores menús, los que tiene están todos sucios, arrugados, manchados o rotos.

Me encanta el chai de este lugar, es de mis favoritos. Sin embargo, en mi última visita pedí la crepa serrana que normalmente disfruto mucho, pero esta vez fue decepcionante: no tenía el queso ricotta y en su lugar le pusieron una mezcla con salsa BBQ que no tenía nada que ver. Ojalá preguntaran a los clientes si quieren algún cambio cuando no tienen todos los ingredientes en lugar de poner a hacer experimentos. También pedí una mimosa y el jugo sabía medio pasado.

La comida es rica, lástima que el servicio sea tan tardado. 45 minutos aproximadamente para los alimentos, sin ninguna entrada que te ofrezcan antes. Hay varios meseros (muy amables) pero es un caos, si te toca terraza hay muchos ambulantes y músicos.

hermoso ambiente, café sin amor. generalmente perdono los precios del café hoy en día a más de $80 pero no que usen la leche/ productos más baratos, leche kirkland? no sabe bien con café. pedí dos shots de espresso y ni así pude encontrarle el sabor al café ya que esta muy aguado todo. atención del personal de caja miiiidddd

El lugar tiene un excelente ambiente y el concepto de la biblioteca lo hace muy cálido e intagrameable. Lástima que en un domingo a las 6pm les quedaban muy pocas opciones de pan y la concha no es la mejor, tampoco tenían café descafeinado, además de un servicio muy lento. Ojalá puedan mejorarlo.

Nonetheless, the menu offered a wide range of options, spanning from Avo & Egg on toast to Huevos Rancheros. Our Chilaquiles, however, stood out with its well-balanced spices and lovely presentation, served with blue corn totopos.

We chose to eat here because they didn't seem as busy as other restaurants, they had a lot of empty seating. We saw lots of employees working but no one greeted us. We finally asked someone if we could be seated. After we were seated, they brought us menus. The server was nice. I asked for a recommendation between the Caffe Nutella or the Caramel and he said Nutella. I went with his recommendation and it was good. My daughter wanted breakfast but they were no longer serving breakfast. It took several minutes for our drinks to come out, and it took about 20-30 minutes for our food to arrive. The server didn't check in on us at all and didn't bring us napkins until I asked. We ordered a cheeseburger, enchiladas suizas, lasagna, a smoothie, several aguas de Naranja, and a coffee. The enchiladas were super spicy! For someone who does not eat spicy, they were extremely spicy. We were having a wonderful conversation but kept getting interrupted by vendors, which, honestly, ruins the vibe. I understand vendors have to sell but we are trying to eat and talk. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The inside of the place is super cute. My recommendation is eat inside so you can eat in peace and enjoy the cute vibe. Our total was $910.

When it comes to the service, it is far from perfect. Coffee is good, food could be better. Speed of service tends to be very slow as the cafe is getting crowded.

El lugar es precioso y claramente invierten mucho en su decoración, creando un ambiente muy agradable con una vista espectacular. Sin embargo, mi experiencia con el servicio dejó mucho que desear: tardaron 40 minutos en servir tres platos simples, y mi plato fuerte , que quería disfrutar junto con mi café, llegó 30 minutos después y llegó frío. En cuanto al sabor, algunos platillos resultaron bastante simples. Es un lugar ideal para disfrutar la vista, pero el servicio podría mejorar.

La comida está deliciosa, el lugar te invita a estar y disfrutar además de que está precioso pero su atención es pésima. Llegamos y con trabajos nos atendieron había en todo el establecimiento 8 personas y no aún así. Teníamos que estar llamando a los meseros porque aunque habían cuando pasaban no te veían, estaban distraídos, cómo sin ganas de atender. Su comida es muy rica pero la verdad es que el servicio deja mucho que desear, los precios son accesibles. PD si quieres un lugar donde solo te atiendan una vez y no te vuelvan a molestar nunca más y te ignoren jaja este es buen lugar para ti.

Pésimo TODO. Llegamos y no tenían varias cosas del menú, con sarcasmo nos dijeron que se iban a tardar dos horas en traer insumos y que el chocolate no tenía horario para llegar. Justo lo que pedimos “no había” se quedan sin insumos en la época más alta de Morelia? … pedimos unos huevos con cecina y me dieron una carne seca (literalmente seca tipo machaca ) más dura que una suela de zapato. Las tortillas del súper deshaciéndose (cuando dicen que son azules las que manejan ) nos sentaron en las mesas a lado del baño y literalmente otro comensal tosió y se echó gases a lado de mi comida. La suciedad en todos lados es espantosa, habían heces embarradas en la taza, (quien sabe hace cuanto no lavan) y toda la parte de arriba de mi asiento lleno de polvo de hace quien sabe cuánto. No me quiero imaginar cómo está la cocina. A mi hijo le pedí unos huevos a la mexicana y venían con tocino lo que me hace pensar que juntan las sobras de otras mesas para hacerte la comida. UN ASCO TOTAL. Todo el rato estuvimos con los muertos en la mesa, nadie vino a atendernos, tuvimos que pedir la cuenta en la caja por qué ni para cobrar se acercaron.

Went here after reading the good reviews but my experience was not at all good. Ordered hot chocolate, huevos Rancheros and Orange juice. Hot chocolate was delicious but huevos rancheros was not at all good. It was super salty and Tangy in taste. It was so bad that I was not even able to finish the half of the dish. I asked them to pack the other half for take away and guess what they pack in a big transparent plastic container. It was so uncomfortable to even carry that big container. They really need to improve their services. The prices are super high according to the quality of the food. I will not recommend anyone to eat here.
