Very delicious fish meal! Fresh and meaty piece of fish with garlic. Tortillas are also delicious. Sitting right in the beach with an amazing view!
Lovely little spot with amazing views of Puerto Agua Verde. Food is basic: ceviche, fish tacos, and cold beer, but it's a magical spot at the end of the road and a worthwhile visit. Talk to the owners about chartering a fishing boat or renting paddleboards/kayaks.
Amazing tacos!
There are three restaurants along the beach in Agua Verde and this is the one in the middle. We ate here twice while we were camped at El Puertito, the next cove over, which can be walked to at low tide. The abuela who does the cooking is very skilled and our tacos were very delicious--so much so that we returned. When the local tienda had run out of tortillas and we had caught some fresh fish to make our own food, the abuela even sold me a few of her tortillas from the restaurant. So kind. The breezy open air dining area under the palapa is charming, filled with lovely homemade crafts, murals, and decorations from the seashore. Also, the rafters are covered with the stickers of overland travelers who have braved the road in. Out back behind the restaurant, they have restrooms--free for customers. Also, they have a lovely, clean shower facility--great for campers like me who have had too many days in a row of salt and sand and sun and sweat. When I was there, it was only a simple bucket shower, but when you pay a little extra for the water to be heated on the stove first, it feels quite luxurious--and the setting can't be beat!
Beautiful place to enjoy the most amazing and fresh fish tacos, ceviche and sashimi! Highly recommend the trip out. They also rent Palapas for camping shade; includes fresh showers, bathrooms and WiFi. Also rent a boat to see incredible snorkeling areas!
Absolutely fantastic food and stellar experience. The road to reach this restaurant is not for faint of heart (4X4 and high clearance strongly suggested). The 1.5+ hour journey is rewarded with an incredible beach and warm people. Don’t swim in the water! Lots of jellyfish!
Best fish tacos, what an awesome drive to get there!
The drive in is a little "interesting" but SO worth it. The beach is beautiful and Leonor is a wonderful host. Her fish tacos were delicious and served with fresh tomatoes and lettuce and two chili condiments. Take the time to chat with her, she has an incredible story to tell. We'll be back, without a doubt.
Outstanding Mexican food, what a find. Had the chili rellenas and the quesadillas. So much better than expected and was clean and tidy!!
A place to feel at home, with great meals and a lovely view of Puerto Agua Verde
Maybe one of my best memories of my BC trip The place is just amazing, I found the real Mexico here. A small community living in this hidden place. The road to get is tricky but ok for any car, if you have a boat even better The owner of the restaurant was really nice and sweet, happy to talk with us about her restaurant and village She has only fish tacos to offer but I was so happy about being there that food was the least important thing :)
Leonor is the soul of Agua Verde. We traveled so many miles to find such a beautiful place, it's priceless. It's important to mention that we discovered Brisa del Mar thanks to Charly Sinewan.
First, give yourself a pat on the back for making the hairy drive here! Then enjoy whatever fresh dish of the day they have. We camped on the beach near this restaurant for 3 nights earlier this year and it was heaven. Ate here every night, and it was a special experience each time. Fresh fish tacos one night, birria another, and finally chicken mole that rivals Michelin-starred quality. Everything was caught/dispatched that day and served at one of the handful of tables in the sand around sunset. I am blessed for having experienced the kindness and talent of the woman heading this kitchen. *If you see this before coming here, please consider bringing plates, bowls, cups or flatware to donate. We donated some of our plates and bowls because they are badly in need of supplies as there are long, difficult roads and no industry here to support a living wage. Anything you can spare even in a small quantity is needed and will be appreciated. I promised the owner I would pass this message along as far and wide as I could, as it is obvious they live very simply and can use the support.* For those camping, they also offer a VERY primitive warm shower for cheap.
Not to expensive good Baja food
Amazing place and extremely friendly people! Fish tacos were incredible!
A pleasant, peaceful place. Unique scenery awaits you on the way there, after nearly 60 km of dirt track. But it's worth the trip. Friendly people, cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Right on the beach. Here you can relax. The prices are reasonable.
While the road is a challenge, the beach and the food are phenomenal!
Nice little restaurant on the beach. We enjoyed the food and Leonor, the owner, was a kind guest.
5 fish tacos + 2 limonadas = 281 pesos (not a typo). Each visitor will decide if that is good value according to their situation.
Not the best fish and shrimp tacos I have been had but it’s good for middle of nowhere. You have to have a reservation to order certain things on the menu as well. Really limited options.
