Opinions de Can Pescador Muro
We went here on a really rainy day for lunch and it was a fantastic experience. Our waiter - Javier - was welcoming and was really helpful about the various options for cooking the lobster that we chose. He even brought it out while it was alive, which I enjoyed less than my sister! The food was excellent and the service from everyone was attentive. They showed us how to use the utensils for cracking shell, hooking out the meat, etc., as we are far from experts. We ate a cheesecake for dessert that was made with a strong cheese and it was phenomenal. Afterwards, we were given a digestif liqueur by Javier made from almonds, on the house. He also gave us recommendations for what to visit further afield that were spot on. This place made our rainy Sunday the perfect day.
Fresh fish dishes. Cooked to.perfection. Puddings were lovely, light and just the right size. Great to have a proper fish knife too, a refreshing change to have correct cutlery!! Staff attentive. Highly recommend.
We stumbled across this place whilst walking along Port de Pollenca beachfront. We were instantly drawn to the tables placed right next to the beach, as it had a beautiful view of the water and was just a lovely setting. We looked at the menu for a moment and actually another family who were eating told us to grab a table as their food was so good! So we did, we got the table we wanted after only a couple of minutes wait. We ordered tomato bread and olives to start, delicious. And shared a red paella for our main- I can only describe it as out of this world flavour, the best we have ever had. An unforgettable meal out. The service was so warm and friendly, chatty waiters. Oh and had a gorgeous refreshing jug of sangria too and ice creams from their kiosk to finish. Would recommend to everyone, in fact we already have to other guests at our hotel. We will be dreaming of that paella for years to come, so we will certainly be back
The restaurant offers a warm, inviting atmosphere combined with truly outstanding service. The waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and highly professional—always present when needed, but never intrusive. We felt genuinely well taken care of throughout the entire meal. And the lobster paella? Absolutely spectacular. The rice was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and the lobster was fresh, tender, and beautifully incorporated into the dish. A true delight that’s well worth trying. This is definitely a place we’ll return to—for both the quality of the food and the exceptional service. Highly recommended!
Seafood Paradise If you love seafood,Can Pescador is a must-visit! The paella is incredible , full of fresh seafood and rich flavors. The oysters are also amazing, fresh and perfectly chilled. The staff is fantastic ,friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot for any seafood enthusiast. Highly recommend it!
Fantastic Cafe in a great spot, just finished cycling the 312 and needed a beer, a coffee and a sandwich. Vanessa was excellent found us a table straight away, got the beers in and ordered the sandwich so happy and pleasant as were all the team. The vegetarian sandwich was awesome as was the coffee, great place super atmosphere.
Amazing restaurant serving traditional spanish food, such as tapas, paella, and seafood.Nice atmosphere, great service from staff, and delicious seafood. Highly recommend. We went for a second visit to Can Pescador, as the food was so good. The dishes were sublime! We were greeted by the manager mattias, he was so welcoming again, and made us feel so comfortable. Javier was our waiter and was fantastic. He served our paella the traditional way, which we loved. Thanks again to all staff. Can't wait to come back. 😊😊😊

We enjoyed our food here. The paella had a good consistency and the service was good too. Nice location as well. We would return.

Pretending that rice with two shrimp an some piece of squid is "paella" is just a trap. Prices were extremely high for what we got. Go elsewhere.

Good food and service, a touch on the expensive side. Food was well presented and good portion sizes, atmosphere was nice.
We ate here twice over a week, once for paella and the second time we got tapas. Paella was lovely and would recommend but the tapas is not worth the price. We ordered ‘gambas rojas’ for €34 and were served clearly frozen prawns which were not the red ‘carabineros’ you would expect. The other seafood dishes were ok.
We ordered the grilled seafood plate for two people and it was very delicious and the girl serving us was very nice too. Nevertheless, we had a very very bad experience in the end because of the restaurant manager. After we paid we had to go to the toilet before heading to our next destination. When we were heading out the manager came and asked us if we paid and we said yes. He responded with "no you haven't" and we were really confused what is happening because we never experienced that customer have to proof that they have already paid😅😅 I think that this is the job of the restaurant to make it sure and at least be nice and polite if there was some confusion. But we didn't get any of the nice attitude. We were just told multiple times that we didn't pay. After the manager checked the payment, which was of course there, he didn't apologize for his misunderstoodment but started to argue with us because we were not that happy to be treated that way. At the end we said "This js ridoculous" and he responded with "YOU are ridiculous, relax its holiday!" So we were angry about the situation and his attitude but he just started to attack us? 😂 And also talked about the spanish way, so the spanish way is to treat customer bad, attack them and tell them to relax at the end? Also before we got back to the restaurant to have at least an apology we called the restaurant because we didn't really wamt to make a scene there and were already some meters away. But this restaurant manager just apruptly hung up so we had to get back to the restaurant. All the other waiters were extremely nice. So food is very good but we will not recommend this restaurant simply because of this manager.
A nice restaurant on the round about. Well furnished. But unfortunately the food is tasteless. We tried shrimps, mussels in the tomato sauce and tartar. Wouldn’t recommend any of the dishes. The service is bit slow and not attentive. My boyfriend is allergic to egg. So we asked if tartar had an egg in it as it came with the yellow sauce that wasn’t mentioned in the menu and the waiter said no. My boyfriend ate it . And then waiter came back and actually confirmed that it had egg in it. But aside of that, he started blaming us that he should’ve known before, even thought we did asked before. Anyways we won’t be back.

I had dinner with my family but unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience. The staff is totally disinterested and has an attitude that does not match the prices this restaurant charges.

Ok food, very expensive. Very much a tourist trap as are most of the restaurants on this strip. Service was not very friendly at all and we paid the most for this meal out of any we had on our holi…
Restaurant on the main road, open during the day, average quality, but better than others. They offer seafood and tapas. Friendly staff. Prices high. Maybe a little more choice in wines.

Food is relatively good at this joint, so no wonder people flock to one of the few decent places around. There is a massive drawback: they do NOT have enough staff, so you will wait a lot even to s…
Echoing what others have said, service was just bad. If we were at least offered a menu and served drinks while we wait, would have been fine. I’m actually really surprised at how highly this place is rated. As for the food, wife had deep fried stuff which was fine (but where is it not?), I had grilled squid which was overcooked and chewy, do not order it. We also didn’t get a dish we ordered, but probably for the best. I would honestly say avoid, there are nicer places to spend your money in.
Tbh we were really thrilled to go to this place but it was quiet upsetting. From the moment we entered, we needed to wait for menu for a long time…. I saw other tables needed to do the same even though it was not busy. Once we got our food, it was quiet disappointing: sea bass was just one half ( for 27euros) and no salt at all, scallops were okeish and pan con tomate not smth I would recommend to take. Also as I spoke Spanish, I heard that waitress was suggesting the free limoncello to other customers ( who were Spanish) but she did not suggest it to us, neither to other ‘foreigners’. Overall it felt that native Spanish speakers were treated way better than foreigners ( with free things, fast service etc). This place has a good potential if it starts treating customers equally and improve its service.
The place is very nice and centrally located, but the food was not tasty at all. We ordered an octopus and cuttlefish paella and it was extremely salty. Prices are standard for the area, more on the expensive side than cheap. The waiters were very kind and friendly, but the waitress was condescending and a bit rude. And the bread was horrible with puleva butter. I will not come back..
My wife found this place on Google and the reviews seemed good. It was a VERY bad experience. My wife's sea bass was overcooked. Not bad, but nothing special either. I ordered the seafood spaghetti. When I started chewing on the prawn, I noticed that there was sand in it. My wife asked the manager to come over to see for himself. He swiftly started defending himself and his restaurant and told us it was "normal". His exact words: "It's not sand, it's the intestines". I was shocked. I asked him why he gave me prawns with the intestines still inside and he replied: "It's normal, we do that always here". The manager was very unapologetic and arrogant. He asked us: "what do you want!?" We didn't want anything. We just wanted an apology. But he refused to use the word sorry. After I got angry about his arrogant manners, I told him that we would appreciate an apology for the VERY BAD experience. That was the moment he said sorry. We paid almost €90,- for a pasta, grilled sea bass, and a bottle of wine. They use their location and good-looking restaurant to get people in. Don't go here. There are much better places for less money where you will get a good dining experience. Message to the manager: Work on your manners!
