Loved it!!! I prefer ribeye over strip steak but the waygu strip was way better than the Angus ribeye. The ribeye was great but trying the wagyu knocked it down a few notches. The Au gratin potatoes were excellent as well! Highly recommend reservations. We waited a while to get seated at the bar and ate our meal at the bar as well.

The best ambience with the best food in Napa Valley- everything about this experience was perfect! I love that we can bring in wine that we purchased at the wineries today, the steaks were perfectly cooked, the family-style sides are great shared with the table, and the peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert was so good! Loved it all!

Excellent dinner at Coles Chop House celebrating a birthday. As you would expect the food and service were both great. I had Waygu steak for the first time and it was very good. My wife and I split a salad and a baked potato. We had not been here for years but did not disappoint.

From the time we walked into the restaurant until the time we left, the experience was superb. Suggestions for menu items were a delight to the palate and the wine choices by Mike were spot on to compliment each course. If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ I would! Mike our wine connoisseur was the true 🌟 of our night. He was very knowledgeable and so welcoming and friendly! Great Job 👏🏽 Cole’s!

Wife and I came here for dinner, recommended by our hotel. They did not disappoint. Nice selection of food, wine, and other spirits. Nice open layout, high ceiling. We sat upstairs overlooking the main floor. This place was busy, and it was not fast. Order some drinks, enjoy your time. Started with a wedge sald, we do not like blue cheese, so we opted for the bacon vinegarette, and it was delicious. The cowboy ribeye steak I got had a beautiful sear with a nicely flavored crust, cooked perfectly pink as requested. The gruyere potatoes had a lot of flavor and also had a nice crust on top. Brussel sprouts were good, if you like those. Had a nice glass of wine and finished with a warm chocolate brownie. The brownie was soft and warm (almost like a flour cake) and served with some Gelato. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Looking for a good steak and a good experience, give them a shot

Cole's Chop House was no other than exquisite. Our waiter was Julian for the evening and knew how to present the menu in a way where you couldn't or didn't want to say no. We started with the grilled prawns and lobster bisque puff which was a perfect light weight opener. The entrée for the evening was wagyu and rib eye steak with grilled asparagus and hollandaise sauce and roasted Brussel sprout with pecan pie to go. A beautiful ending to 4day business and trip and must return!

My husband and I decided to splurge and do our anniversary dinner at Cole's Chop House in downtown Napa when we were celebrating last weekend. Everything was really nice! Most notably our server, Monica, was such a joy! She was super attentive, really personable and helpful in her dinner recommendations. She definitely helped make our anniversary special! We opted to sit outdoors in their heated enclosed patio. The ambiance was really cute. If you're worried about being warm during the cooler seasons, fret not! The heat really kept up well. Food wise, we got Oysters Rockefeller for our starter and they were SO delicious! We had the Black Angus Filet Mignon (10oz) and Black Angus Rib Eye Steak for our main meals. We both enjoyed our cuts and they were cooked very beautifully. For our sides, we got the Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes & Brussel Sprouts- both had the taste on point! We also got the side on special that night: lobster Mac & cheese. It was very good overall. The only reason it missed the mark for us is because of a preference- we aren't a fan of truffle. But that was at our own personal thing and not due to the cooking at all!!! Just calling it out in case you have a preference against truffle. It was very well prepared and still such a treat!! Monica also brought us an anniversary desert of ginger snap cookies. It was such a sweet touch and they tasted awesome! The quality here was definitely really wonderful! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good experience and good food and can splurge a little!

We came back to Cole’s Chop House in Napa for a second visit and had a lively, memorable evening. The place was buzzing with holiday parties and a packed tent outside, which gave it great energy. Highlights: the apps were solid, especially the grilled prawn cocktail. The servers were kind and opened our Alpha Omega single-vineyard bottle for us (corkage was $35, which is fair) it would have been nice to have Napa wine corkage fee waived) Notes: the lobster/shrimp bisque was surprisingly thin and could use more body. Our ribeye and lamb chops were underseasoned and could’ve used more punch. Overall the food was decent, but a few misses kept it from being great. All in all I’d give it a 4 out of 5. Good atmosphere and service, a few standout bites, and room for improvement on seasoning and the bisque. #PaulEverHome @BayAreaWithPaul

Steak was cooked and seasoned well without needing a sauce. The gratin potatoes were good but not great. Service was good. This restaurant has outdoor seating with temporary walls including heaters. There is also indoor seating on 2 different floors. There’s free parking behind the building. The entrance is on the side of the building through the outdoor seating area.

After the drone conference, me and my buddy found this jam at downtown Napa based on the reviews. What a win!!! From start to finish, our dinner here was nothing short of spectacular. The Angus Rib Eye was grilled to absolute perfection - just the way we’ve requested it and packed with rich, mouthwatering flavor (melted butter on the side for dipping). The Lobster and Shrimp Bisque wrapped in puff pastry was a total standout - wow! - creamy, decadent, and absolutely jam-packed with flavor (and those lobster pieces!) We couldn’t believe the size of the Chop House Hash Browns stuffed with fresh Onions - crispy, golden, and so enormous it could easily feed a family (and still have leftovers!). Every dish was crafted with care, and the service elevated the night even more. Our server had a touch of sharp humor that made the experience warm, personal, and unforgettable. And by the way – all the guests are extremely friendly and social. To finish, the Whiskey Bread Pudding with Bourbon Caramel Sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was next-level. And the non-alcoholic “3 Mile Limit” cocktail was a perfect, refreshing pairing. Cole’s, you’ve got something special here. Hold the spot - we’re absolutely coming back!

I dined at Cole's Chop House in Napa and had a fairly mixed experience. The food was decent overall. The steaks and beef wellington were decent, but nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, the service was the main disappointment of the night. Our waiter only came to our table three times: once to take our order, once to deliver the food, and once to pick up the check. He never stopped by to ask whether we needed anything. No one offered to refill our water, and we were left sitting with empty glasses. He was noticeably more attentive to every table around us. He was very fast and attentive towards us when picking up the check after I placed my credit card to pay. Overall, I had high hopes for this place due to its reputation, but the service left a lot to be desired. If you're looking for a great meal with attentive service, I’d recommend keeping your expectations in check.

We went here for our anniversary since our usual spot cordeiros is closed. The ceasar salad lettuce was brown and the dressing did not taste right. The lobster bisque was watery and also tasted off but the puff pastry was a nice touch. The oysters Rockefeller were probably the best I've had. The wet aged ny was ok. The dry aged ny was so chewy is was not edible. The side of prawns were way over cooked. The Brussel sprouts were just ok. The sautéed mushrooms were disgusting. The bearnaise sause was so thick and just tasted like egg yolk. The Hennessey mixed drink was delicious, slightly sweet and nice flavor. The restaurant is very nice with seating inside and out. We sat upstairs by the window and there were fruit flies flying around our table which was quite annoying. We won't be returning just because the food was really disappointing especially for how much it costs.
