This is the best churros I have had so far. I am going to Barcelona next week so I cannot compare yet. But in Nerja these are the best churros of my life. They are very crispy. When you bite them you can hear the crunch. The chocolate sauce makes the churros softer inside which creates a really nice contrast. I do not like desserts that are too sweet. This was perfect for me. You can taste a slight saltiness in the churros. The chocolate sauce has a deep cocoa flavor. Highly recommended if you like balanced desserts.

Been stopping here for last 5 years. True, prices have increased but where hasn't? Always busy with locals so must be good. I love it. Toastada y tomato and cafe con leche y heilo is excellent. Small toilet but at least it has one! Smoking outside at tables allowed.

Despite being located on a very touristy street, this bar has retained its originality. I was running late for breakfast, but the owner, with a very pleasant attitude, still served me chocolate con churros without any issue. I highly recommend it if you are in Nerja!

Serves tapas, like in granada. Service is constant, pleasant and the place is busy. Don't be surprised if they haven't had time to clean the loos. It gets very busy after all. People should clean up after themselves anyway. Mix of local and tourists, aka even me. Pleasant atmosphere and yeah I'm pinning this one, as a come back to again. Prices are affordable, it's local, it's fresh say no more ✌🏽❤

Authentic atmosphere. Friendly waiter. Had a quick meal after 19 p.m. They serve food between 7.00-12.00 and 17.00-20.00. Also churros wich we couldn't find in other places in the afternoon. Spain is always lovely no matter what time a year you go in. The only issues are getting there in the roads sometimes can be tricky.

Sitio muy concurrido por su fama con las porras. Tuvimos que hacer una cola de 35 minutos para poder desayunar, eso si! las porras estaban letales pero tampoco son para armar la cola del mercadona en pandemia. No le doy 5 estrellas por eso, pero por lo demás estupendo

Fuimos ahí gracias a las reseñas de google. Hay que ir temprano porque la terraza es pequeña (unas 5 mesas fuera ya que la calle es muy estrecha). Las dos mañanas que fuimos tuvimos suerte en pillar mesa rápido (la única libre que había) pero los que venían detrás de nosotros ya tuvieron que esperar unos 5-10 min. Bebidas baratas, churros y pitufos buenos, aunque estos últimos un poco caros.

Auténtico cafetería de Andalucía 😋 comidas baratas, la gente grita, muchas gente de local. Muy simpático. Bueno ni mal es Andalucía 😘

Churros, coffee and hot chocolate were excellent. Churros were so big, I hardly ate 5 of them. However we came there at 5 pm (Churros are served from 5 to 8 pm) and had to wait 30 minutes for them to be prepared. Then we made an order and waited another 20 minutes. That was definitely too long. The waiter wasn't very nice either. Churros were very good but it's definitely a place to visit when you have a lot of free time. Coffee with milk 1,6 euro Churros 0,5 euro per piece Hot chocolate 2,1 euro Nestea in can 2,4 euro

The churros here are oily and taste of old oil. Reminds me of fish and chips instead of breakfast. Coffee is good. Hot chocolate is average. There are better places in Nerja.

The hot chocolate is not entirely liquid which is great to dip in with the churros. The toast was good and the ice tea natural and refreshing. Great experience overall, except for the fact that it’s pretty hot inside. When we ordered something without specifying the size or quantity they took the most expensive option without asking us. My friend took an orange juice which in the menu costed 2.8€, with no other options of size. When we received the bill, they made her pay 3.3€ for an orange juice of a bigger size that wasn’t even on the menu! We were a group of 6 but they didn’t let us pay separately which was very inconvenient

We only got churros so can only review based on that. They were somewhat expensive. If ordering just be mindful of the size. The sauce tastes like hot chocolate the drink, not chocolate sauce. Service was not friendly, not very polite.

Coffee was the best out of all the rest. Me and my family , we ordered classical Spanish breakfast: bread with fresh tomato sauce and olive oil. I was surprised tomato wasn’t fresh at all. It had a very acidic taste like there was vinegar added. Our waiter told us it has olive oil and salt added. But why to add it if we are given salt and olive oil to add to the bread ? I love Spanish breakfast specifically for the fresh tomato. Also, we ordered fresh orange juice which is also classic to Spanish breakfast. Well, it didn’t seem to be freshly squeezed juice but more mixed with water regular orange packed juice. Also, churros were very ordinary to my taste. Coffee was great though. Thank you

Le doy 1 estrella porq no le puedo dar menos Fuimos a comer 17 personas y para empezar nos tuvimos q poner en mesas diferentes una en cada punta porque no se podía mover una mesa y cuatro sillas 2 metros pa el lado Nos sentamos a las 2 y algo de la tarde y comimos a las 3 y media!! 1 hora y pico pa traer la comida q más vale q no la hubieran traído Pedimos para compartir tomate aliñado q lo tuvieron q aliñar con el agua del vater aparte de unos tronchos de tomate q no cabían ni en la boca, los devolvimos Los chocos acompañados de patatas y ensalada “pasables” Una hamburguesa black angus de dudosa procedencia porque la carne estaba más insípida , y sin patatas un campero q si estaba bueno y pedimos huevos rotos , dos con salchichas y bacon y otros con jamón los del jamón pusieron dos lonchas más tiesas q la mojama q eso no se lo come ni un perro, los huevos sin hacer que no me lo comi porque como me los comiera hoy tenía salmonelosis, y el bacon y las salchichas malísimas también por este menú degustación nos clavaron 75 euros ( y unos huevos rotos estaban metidos en otra cuenta) , y encima nada más q salimos me tuve q comprar una bolsa de patatas porque estaba esmalla en conclusión todo malísimo y encima de todo caro , si quieres ir llévate el riñon ya extirpado

Hemos ido a desayunar y hemos pedido un café con leche sin lactosa, una infusión y 2 tostadas simples en mollete (aceite con tomate y mantequilla, nada del otro mundo). Nos han llevado la bebida y luego hemos esperado media hora de reloj por las tostadas. Una de las tostadas la han cambiado a pitufo si explicacion, pero vemos que parece que se han quedado sin molletes porque a todas las mesas llevan pitufos. Las tostadas no estaban tostadas, y la de mantequilla estaba prácticamente blanca, sólo tenía mantequilla en el centro del pan. Tostadas muy pequeñas... Y nos han cobrado 8 euros! 4 euros cada persona por una tostada simple pequeña mal hecha y un café con leche/infusión, me parece carísimo, además de la espera una barbaridad.

La tapa es si le caes bien …eres guiri o como me contestó depende… como la canción 🎵… de coña esa contestación. Comimos un campero que era pasable … y por 10 patatas congeladas nos cobró 2,50€ … En fin que la tapa se pone a todo el. Mundo !!! Seas de donde seas !!! No creo creo que repita y el hombre en cuestión. Fue amable pero no pasó por esa discriminación

we ordered the churros expecting them to come with chocolate as on the menu the image shows them dunked in chocolate sauce. they didn’t. the service was insanely slow, tbf it was relatively busy at the time but non the less it wasn’t busy enough to make it take 30 minutes to order our food. the floor was gross and un cleaned. overall was really quite bad.
