Amazing experience! We had a great dinner at Louie’s.. We had the crab cakes, lobster salad, rolls, skirt steak and lobster. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Antonio was great. We were celebrating a birthday and he made it extra special. We can’t wait to come back and try other entrees.

I recently hosted a Celebration of Life luncheon for 35 people in Luigi’s private Garden room. It was perfect. Luigi’s has been a family favorite for many years but I honestly didn’t expect their on-site catering to be so incredible. They checked all the boxes…and then some. They allowed us into the restaurant early to set up the room during which time the servers were on hand to help ✅ Guests were blown away by the outstanding family style appetizers which included Fritto Misto, House Made Fresh Mozzarella and Salumi Antipasto. We could have stopped right there and been happy ✅ Lunch included Classic Caesar and Marinated Beet salads, then Farfalle & Sausage, Chicken Parm and Prime Hanger Steak. All delicious ✅ For dessert we chose Tiramisu and NY Style Cheesecake. No complaints there ✅ As important as the food was the service. Cordial, genial, and on the mark. They waited patiently while the eulogy was delivered and made up the time with ease ✅ The Garden room, being in the rear, was quiet and unaffected by the popular, crowded, noisy dining room ✅ I would not hesitate to host another private event at Luigi’s.

This restaurant is not a restaurant it is an experience you must to try 😉 The atmosphere, lights, tasty food, warm and cozy place, friendly staff members, and specially the tasty food They welcome you with pasto sauce with bread sticks until the food gets ready Then the salad was tasty and fresh, the main course with really a good full fully amount and the napoleon so crunchy and creamy .. Love it ❤️ Definitely will go their again

I have come here to eat several times and the food is always excellent. Each time I have chosen different dishes to eat my way through the menu. Everything has been delicious with great depths of flavor. As an added bonus the bread with the insane green sauce is so good.

Outstanding in every category. Our server was phenomenal. The cuisine was excellent & delicious. The atmosphere was elegant and friendly. Celebrated my Mother's 92nd Birthday with last minute reservations and so glad we did. Had a great celebration and meal including appetizers and the entrees were incredible. Not too pricey with good size food portions. Highly recommend.

Went for lunch with my husband. The food is usually fantastic here but today it was just average. We ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad and a Margherita pizza. The grilled chicken was delicious but the Caesar dressing was very light, hardly could taste it and not your authentic Caesar dressing. This was more of a vinegar based Caesar dressing. The Margherita pizza was a bit undercooked and extremely light on the fresh mozzarella cheese. As usual their bread and pesto dipping sauce was amazing.

We made reservation for Friday night dinner for party of 6 around 8pm and it was full house. We had to wait for 30 minutes even with reservation because big tables were not available yet. The fried calamari was good and nice portion (forgot to take pic) but the caesar salad was small portion and not worth ordering appetizer. We forgot to take pictures of the main course and the portions are good for sharing. We ordered too much and so much leftover. Highly recommended the Gnocchi with bologense sauce, pappardelle short rib ragu, chicken parm, grilled branzino.

Atmosphere: Very beautiful setting. The bar area has a rustic style to it and it’s very vibey. The Dining Area is more secluded which is nice, and has wonderful interior design. I enjoyed it alot because of it. ***It is a very popular and busy spot, if you are thinking to come here because it looks quieter, it is not*** which isn’t a bad thing, but it isn’t quiet- very loud. Service: They are decently quick- I didn’t have to wait for our meals too too long. Although long enough to question where our food was, just not long enough to ask our waiter. They had mistakenly placed a meal in our table that weren’t for us, and it was in the house when they realized. Food: The steak and the mashed potatoes are so divine, I still think about it today. The calamari was also good. The pasta is very hit or miss. The chicken parm was not good. But the portions are huge!!

The food at Luigi’s was delicious! We ordered the calamari, which was crispy and tasty; the chicken and spinach dish was great; the linguine with clam sauce was ok...a bit too much garlic than we like preferred. Super crowded as usual. Took awhile for waiter to come and took a bit for food to come. But the food was worth it.

I can’t believe the review was sitting in the draft for a while, lol. I found the restaurant while checking on Yelp for the nearest restaurant. From the map, it showed us only less than 10 minutes to the destination. I'm so glad we found it. We ordered baked clams, margarita pizza, and fritto misto or calamari to have leftovers and try some at home the next day. I liked them all, but the sauce for baked clams was too creamy, not my cup of tea. The seafood pasta was not bad. The restaurant is big, with pleasant seating outside and inside. I don’t mind returning, but I’ll order something else.

Dined in yesterday for my sisters birthday. Which they didn’t do anything special even though we noted it with the reservations. The waiter was rather rude. Don’t remember his name but he was not welcoming being that’s it was my first time there. That’s not even the big issue, i went to order something on the menu and he cut me off and told me i wouldn’t like it.. i thought that was very rude and quite frankly i lost my appetite. I wonder how the owners would feel if they knew he was discouraging patrons from ordering what they would like. He wasn’t very attentive but i guess it’s because gratuity was included. The waiter at the other table was fun vibrant and made his guest laugh. That’s how i wish my sisters evening went. Oh well the experience was lack luster and it sucks because my brother recommended how much he loved that place. They won’t be seeing me again. I’ll try the tavern on the same block. Hopefully I’ll have a more pleasant experience. I will say The pizza we did order was pretty tasty. Oh yes the busboy and woman server were the most pleasant part of the experience! Warm smiles and nice hospitality i hope they get the gratuity!

7pm reservation on a Tuesday evening, we arrived a few minutes early to check in with Danika and were told that there was a 10-15 minute wait. All good, beautiful pre-fall evening we said we'd wait outside as the entryway is very, very narrow with enough room for only one person to walk by at a time. Danika said she'd come out to notify us when our table was ready. After ~15 minutes, we went back inside and Danika asked us if we had a reservation. She didn't recognize us and didn't come outside to let us know that a table was available. The restaurant started to fill up and a backlog of folks started to jam the narrow entryway. After waiting inside the narrow entryway this time, after another ~15 minutes Danika decided to give our table to a walk-in couple. Danika said, "It's okay, they're elderly people", actually they were significantly younger than us. All good, we weren't starving. At ~7:30 we were seated and ordered a fried calamari app and a meatball app. Calamari was fresh and crispy, but greasy. Meatball was tender and airy, pretty good. Our 2 entrees, the papardelle with 1/2 lobster tail and a skirt steak were both surprisingly good. Pasta seemed to be a fresh pasta, 2 shrimp, 1/2 lobster tail (also same size as shrimp) was prepared in a rich orange-hued sauce. Skirt steak was pre-sliced, served medium-well (the server did not ask for a desired temperature) in an unusual sweetish-tangy sauce (maybe Marsala) served with fresh sauteed garlicky spinach and a savory polenta. A rich, brown gravy may have worked better for the med-well steak. For dessert we had a slice of cheesecake and the tiramisu. Also both good. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday evening which is probably a testament to the food quality. Unfortunately with the large choices of good Italian food available in Queens and western LI, the initial CX sets the tone. Danika soured the mood, made us feel unwelcome as guests and remained nonchalant thoughout. We didn't remember who our servers were, but no complaints about the food. Never been here before, good food, bad front of house.

Had a roast beef Americano hero Take out from the lunch menu. Had one thin slice of roast beef folded in half on each side of the hero. Pathetic would never order from here again. *Update* I tried a different lunch hero because of coworkers ordering here. Had the Patsy; I’ll give it 3 stars. It tasted good but they barely gave a slice of prosciutto on each side. And the chicken cutlet was cut in half. Plus not enough ricotta and sauce was lacking. For $13 it should be much better! And once again too much bread considering the amount I got. Most likely done with this place unless I’m starving and this is the place picked at work!
