I had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was incredible—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each dish. The staff was attentive, and genuinely added value to the experience. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and an exceptional dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the afternoon tea experience at the Blue Box Café, and it was truly a memorable and elegant outing. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from Tiffany & Co.—refined, stylish, and beautifully designed with the iconic Tiffany blue that creates a sophisticated yet welcoming setting. During the experience, I ordered the scallops with spinach, which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The dish was light yet satisfying and paired wonderfully with the overall afternoon tea service. I also enjoyed a glass of champagne, which added a celebratory touch to the meal and complemented the food nicely. The service was attentive and professional throughout the visit, making the experience feel relaxed and special. From the presentation of the food to the ambiance of the dining room, everything reflected the level of quality and elegance that Tiffany is known for. Overall, the afternoon tea at the Blue Box Café was a delightful experience that combines excellent food, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and memorable dining experience in New York.
What a chic and magnificent experience! Two of my friends and I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day to celebrate a 40th birthday. We had the absolute best fortunate in being seated with Jose K. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and a true professional. Every question- he was able to give us an answer and would take it one step further to make a recommendation or help guide us to ensure we had what we needed. He took food sensitivity very seriously and ensured items were either amended appropriately or avoided completely. We decided to split a Breakfast at Tiffany’s, a Tea at Tiffany’s (get the Tiffany’s tea!), and three à la cart menu items- the ceasar salad, burrata and truffle risotto. Wow!! Jose had everything brought to us in courses and curated it in a way to ensure we had the best tasting experience. He nailed it! Each item was exquisite. We had tea throughout which was a lovely accompaniment to everything we ate. We also started with Chandon sparkling wine. Two of us moved to cocktails - a blue cosmo and an espresso martini. For our courses, Jose started us with the burrata and ceasar salad. We then moved to the truffle risotto. Then the breakfast and tea trays arrived. Jose guided us to start with the savory and end with the sweet and which direction to move through. Being it was our friend’s birthday, they also presented us with a lit candle and a piece of chocolate that said “Happy Birthday”! It was such a lovely gesture! This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Every bite we took, we all kept saying “this is delightful”. Every interaction with Jose solidified how magnificent the meal and atmosphere truly were. The staff as a whole worked seamlessly together, as well, to keep our water and tea cups filled, deliver the food along with new silverware and plates with each course. If you are going to New York City and want a special experience- I highly recommend booking a reservation at The Blue Box Cafe. I will certainly be returning! Thank you, Jose and team!
Wonderful spot for my mother’s birthday lunch. A beautifully designed interior and plates make a great setting. The Saumon Balik is a fun and fresh starter of salmon prepared 2 ways on nice bagel crisps. Then the slow baked Cod was nice portion of delicious fish and sauce, the fries are fantastic here too! Finally the Tiffany Tea sundae is the perfect safe choice, a delicious ice cream flavor with fun toppings on the side.
I had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud, and overall the experience was truly impressive. I tried both the Breakfast at Tiffany and Tea at Tiffany menus. The Breakfast at Tiffany menu stood out in particular, the egg topped with caviar was absolutely exceptional. The balance, texture, and depth of flavor were remarkable and easily at a Michelin star level. Daniel Boulud’s culinary signature is clearly present in this dish. The Tea at Tiffany experience is visually generous, with portions that almost play with perception. While the quality and flavors were very good, from a gastronomic standpoint it felt slightly behind some afternoon tea experiences I’ve had in England. That said, enjoying this ritual within the iconic Tiffany setting was still a wonderful experience. The service deserves special recognition warm, highly professional, elegant, and respectful. The staff made the experience feel refined and personal without ever feeling forced or artificial. Overall, Blue Box Café is more than just a restaurant; it is an iconic experience. The fusion of the Tiffany world with Daniel Boulud’s culinary vision makes this a destination well worth experiencing at least once.
Having breakfast at the Blue Box Cafe was an unforgettable experience. To reach this hidden gem, you have to walk through the entire Tiffany & Co. store all the way to the highest floor, which makes the arrival feel even more exclusive. The Highlights: • Atmosphere: The interior is absolutely beautiful-elegant, chic, and perfectly themed. • Food & Drink: We had the pastry and tea, both of which were delicious and high-quality. • Luck: While it's usually hard to get in, we got lucky and secured a table without a reservation. If you're looking for a special treat while shopping, this is a must-visit for the ambiance alone.
Mind blowing does not begin to describe the experience. The service from start to finish was amazing. We were made to feel so very welcomed and special. The meal itself was a masterpiece and tasted better than it looked if that is at all possible. The photo ops were amazing and the staff volunteered to take pics adding to what was the most amazing evening spent with my daughter.
As a longtime fan of Tiffany & Co., I was thrilled to celebrate my birthday and our 10th anniversary at the Blue Box Cafe, inspired by Audrey Hepburn. After learning that reservations open a month in advance on the Resy app, I set an alarm to snag our table right at midnight. Thankfully, we were able to book it just in time! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff. There was a short wait of about 5-10 minutes to be seated, but the manager offered us complimentary champagne while we waited, which was a lovely surprise. The service throughout our visit was exceptional. While the food was good but not extraordinary, the overall experience was truly memorable. The washroom was beautifully designed, and we enjoyed browsing the stunning jewelry pieces during our time there. Even with the holiday rush, we felt well taken care of. I highly recommend visiting the Blue Box Cafe for a special occasion!
Tiffany's Blue Box Cafe is on every girl's wish list! I didn't make a reservation, but I showed up around 10 am and was able to get a spot at the bar top about 10:30 am. This is the cutest little spot! While I was waiting for my spot, I wandered around the beautiful store a bit. The staff is so friendly and everyone has a story about how they started at Tiffany's and why they love it SO much. It is practically a museum and definitely worth stopping in and checking out some of the different floors. I think there were at least 7. And, all of the flowers that are everywhere are ALL real. =O I ordered Holly's Plate and a glass of champagne and enjoyed every moment and bite. They truly want you to leave with a long-lasting memory.
We visited NYC during the 2025 Christmas season and were enamored by the beauty of the decor at the Blue Box Cafe inside the flagship store of Tiffany & Co in Manhattan. We were served by Paulo at the bar who was professional, inviting, and friendly. We enjoyed our time there largely due to the service we received, as he spoke highly of his job and the ability to meet new people from around the world. We highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a high-end experience. Thank you Paulo!
Blue Box is a place of rare elegance and quiet sophistication. Every detail — from the thoughtfully composed décor to the beautifully presented food — feels deliberate, harmonious, and carefully curated. The atmosphere carries a calm confidence, the kind that does not need to impress loudly because it already knows what it is. The staff move with grace and genuine courtesy, and special recognition belongs to their manager, Pedja — a warm, thoughtful presence whose calm wisdom and natural hospitality elevate the entire experience. It is the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after you leave. 🩵✨
We visited the Blue Box Café at Tiffany & Co. in New York to celebrate our daughter’s birthday after shopping in the flagship store, and the experience felt perfectly curated for a special occasion. The café itself is quite intimate in size, but incredibly elegant and atmospheric—true to the Tiffany aesthetic. The service deserves special praise: attentive, polished, and genuinely warm, making the celebration feel personal rather than rushed. A quick insider note on reservations: they are extremely competitive. I booked about a month in advance and monitored our date daily. When the reservation window finally opened, time slots disappeared almost instantly—I was only able to secure a 5:30 PM table right at midnight. If this is on your must-visit list, be ready to book the moment your date opens. When it comes to the food, the clear standout—and the only hot entrée I would truly recommend—is the filet mignon. It was beautifully executed: exceptionally tender, perfectly cooked, and served with a layered potato that was rich yet delicate, alongside incredibly soft, melt-in-your-mouth mushrooms. This dish alone justifies choosing dinner here. We also ordered the risotto, though it was not a classic rice-based risotto. Instead, it featured al dente potato pieces and had a very subtle, understated flavor. While not unpleasant, it lacked depth and character and didn’t leave a lasting impression. The lobster dish was visually appealing but ultimately underwhelming. The half lobster tail resembled a large shrimp and was served cold. I would rate it around a 3.5–4 out of 5—pleasant, but not memorable. The children ordered burgers—one medium-rare, one well-done—but both arrived cooked almost identically and leaned toward the dry side. Even after tasting them ourselves, we agreed they lacked juiciness. The fries, however, were excellent and full of flavor. One highlight worth mentioning is the Blue Cosmo cocktail. I customized mine by swapping the vodka for tequila, and the bartenders were happy to accommodate. The cocktail remained visually stunning and, in this version, was perfectly balanced—smooth alcohol presence, gentle sweetness, and just the right touch of acidity. A wonderful, photogenic drink and a great insider tweak for those who don’t drink vodka. For dessert, we skipped the afternoon tea towers and opted for individual desserts since we had dinner. Overall, the desserts were restrained in sweetness and fairly subtle in flavor. The standout was a delicate, creamy layered dessert with thin chocolate wafers and an airy, refined cream filling, topped with a personalized “Happy Birthday” chocolate plaque. Elegant, light, and beautifully presented—ideal for a celebration. The ice cream selection featured floral notes such as lavender, which was interesting and refreshing, though more suited to adventurous palates. The option to customize with toppings was a nice touch. That said, if I were to return, I would likely choose the afternoon tea experience instead. The two- and three-tier towers looked visually stunning, with petite pastries and sandwiches, and seem to be a more exciting way to experience the café—unless you are specifically coming for the filet mignon. Overall, the Blue Box Café offers a truly special atmosphere, impeccable service, and an iconic setting. While not every dish shines equally, the experience as a whole feels luxurious, celebratory, and thoughtfully executed. I would rate it a solid 4.5 out of 5 and highly recommend it for special occasions, particularly if you appreciate refined ambiance and the timeless Tiffany aesthetic.
Had lunch at Blue Box restaurant today and everything was wonderful – from the warm, attentive staff to the beautifully plated dishes. I had the cod with butternut squash purée and the celery risotto with truffle, both cooked perfectly. Finished with a chocolate pistachio cake with a subtle smoky note – so good. Highly recommend, but make a reservation in advance.
My two friends and I had the privilege of having an early dinner at Blue Box Cafe on Sunday, November 16th. I cannot say enough about the service, food and atmosphere. We were greeted warmly to check in and while the wait was a bit beyond our reservation time because it was very crowded, who can complain about sitting on a couch in Tiffany with other diners chatting before our table was ready. Marina, our server, could not have been better! She knew the menu, how the food was prepared and made excellent recommendations regarding our appetizers, wine and entrees! She was the ultimate professional and took the time to take our experience to the next level! She was just wonderful and so pleasant! All of the servers that took care of our table were attentive, professional and friendly. We started with appetizers of Tartine D'avocat, Salade de Saison and Quiche Aux Champignons. All of them were delicious, light and went very well with our entrees. Our entrees were Coquilles Saint-Jacques and two of us had the Cabillaud (and an order of French fries "for the table"). This experience could not have been better in any way! I suggest that you make the time to visit Blue Box Cafe and enjoy the experience as much as my friends and I did. This restaurant is high-end dining in a smaller setting inside Tiffany. I truly cannot wait to go back! Thank you Chef Boulud. You obviously took great time and effort in having a well-trained staff and it shows!
A princess moment. The aesthetic. *muah* Celebrated my birthday with a brunch at Tiffany! It’s worth it. The ambience, the food, the service… just everything, feels like a special moment to be shared. We got cappuccino (perfect), chai latte (too sweet), the Tiffany breakfast (amazing!), and lobster roll + a lump crab beet salad + fries to share. The breakfast set was delicious, love the caviar & soft scramble, love the parfait! And the pastry. The lobster & avocado roll was good, but the lump crab beet salad was ok. Fries were super salty - so my sister gave that feedback. It became complimentary - excellence in service for sure. Everyone (almost) was here celebrating something… a promotion, a birthday, anniversary… and of course families visiting NYC. We enjoyed our little splurge here.
What girl doesn't want to have Breakfast at Tiffany? This bucket list item was worth every penny. I had the Breakfast at Tiffany. The caviar was perfect and mild. The scrambled eggs cooked well, fluffy and not wet. The pastries were fresh and flaky. My kir Royale was delicious. The service was highly attentive without being closing. The atmosphere was sophisticated and festive.
My daughter and I visited the Blue Box Café in New York today. Naturally, the restaurant is famous because of Tiffany, so I honestly didn’t expect much — just a stylish café and nothing more. To our surprise, we were truly impressed! We ordered the Filet Mignon and the Lobster Roll, and both dishes were excellent. The quality of the food was outstanding — refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We felt genuinely spoiled. The service was attentive, fast, efficient, and very charming. My expectations were exceeded by far. And yes — if you’re a fan of Tiffany or Audrey Hepburn, the Blue Box Café is absolutely worth a visit!
Me and my wife attended 'Breakfast @ Tiffany's' aka Tiffany's Blue Box Cafe at Landmark, 727 5th Avenue NYC, in celebration of her birthday. We were welcomed by staff who were attentive and courteous and presented with a choice of breakfast pre-set menu or afternoon tea, we opted for the breakfast given the time of day. It was truly a memorable day... captured by the beautiful pictures of the day... if your thinking of celebrating a special birthday or anniversary I would strongly recommend placing a reservation here to mark the occasion. Thank you to all staff at the Blue Box Cafe.
Absolutely loved it here! I went with my husband, and her daughter in the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. Every single pastry was delicious and I’m not even a pastry person. We got the Tiffany tea, which was very refreshing. It made me feel wide awake. It’s such an elegant experience. I would highly recommend it for everyone.
Yes. Go here. This was a full-on classy experience. First you walk though the flagship store which itself is very impressive all the way up to the 6th floor where you are guided to the Blue Box Cafe. We had the Tea at Tiffany which was absurdly excellent. The quality of the food, pastries, drinks and cookies was among the best I have experienced. You don't come here for breakfast, necessarily (although its very good) You come for the ambiance and spectacular service. Loved this experience.
The food took me by surprise. I expected a middling level of quality for tourist centric destination - even with Chef Boloud’s reputation. I was wrong. The food was excellent. I had the Breakfast at Tiffany’s while my fiance went for the High Tea. Menu highlights for were the caviar egg and fruit salad. If you’re going to Blur Box expect a certain demographic and to pay more than you probably should for the amount of food. But while you’re there take in the sights of the iconic storefront. You won’t be disappointed.
Tiffany’s Blue Box Café is absolutely a must-visit for a special occasion — it’s elegant, beautifully designed, and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a real-life “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” moment. The food was very good and presented beautifully, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. That said, it’s definitely on the expensive side, and reservations can be hard to snag, so it’s more of a one-time experience rather than a regular go-to spot. Overall, I’d give it 3.5 to 4 stars — worth it for the experience, but mostly as a special treat.
I haven’t been to the new cafe since it opened and it was slightly different than what I expected. The food was great, smaller portions but needed up being a perfect size for me. I wish the breakfast/ brunch had a few more “breakfast” style selections so I went with the sea bass, a great choice. I also had the chocolate cake, it was good but I probably wouldn’t order again. My server Ian was great, took a little bit to warm up to me. I noticed a casualness of the servers/ staff that I didn’t expect, I thought it might be more of a fine dining service - again I didn’t mind, but setting expectations. Overall this was a lovely visit and I will return but with more knowledge on what to expect.
The Blue Box Café inside Tiffany & Co. on Fifth Avenue is an undeniably beautiful and photogenic space. It feels like a luxury extension of the store, and the setting alone makes it a special experience. The room is smaller than expected, and from what I observed it is not very walk-in friendly, but the design and atmosphere are nice. We shared the ham and cheese sandwich and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” menu. The sandwich was decent but not especially memorable. The breakfast leaned more toward bread and fruit, with only a small egg and caviar for protein, which left us feeling full but a bit sluggish after. The pastries were a highlight, light and flavorful, and the drinks were quite good with a nice variety to choose from. The staff were attentive and polite, and the service was smooth. Because this is such a popular tourist attraction, you do feel that certain energy in the space, and it is best to expect a lively crowd rather than a quiet meal. This was mid week that we went. Overall, the Blue Box Café is worth visiting for the novelty, the photos, and the Tiffany’s setting. While the food does not fully live up to the presentation or price, it is still enjoyable in parts, and the experience itself is what will make the visit special.
Check-in: 5/5 ⭐️ Smooth and efficient. Ambiance: 5/5 ⭐️ Beautiful setting and overall atmosphere. Service: 3/5 ⭐️ The service did not meet my expectations. Our server was not very attentive and provided minimal explanation of the menu, only mentioning that we could choose between the experiences or à la carte. He left before giving us time to ask clarifying questions. After we had been waiting, a host noticed and came over to take our order. He was extremely helpful, answered all my questions about the menu, and checked on us more frequently than our assigned server, which I appreciated. Food: 3/5 ⭐️ We ordered the Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Tea at Tiffany’s. While the experience itself was enjoyable, the portions were very small. The highlights were the scrambled egg with caviar and the salmon bagel. Overall, you may get better value and more satisfying portions at places like Prince Tea House, Russian Tea Room, or Tea with the Duchess.
This would be my 4th time coming here and today I brought my friend to try it and the food and service was terrible. We had the tea at tiffanys and the lobster bisque. The tower presentation was beautiful but that was all. The bread on the sandwiches and the desserts tasted old. The bread was definitely several days old. The lobster bisque was delicious, but again, the bowl was dry and stale making the entire dish unpleasant. What happened to attentive service and delicious food?! The server never even asked us how we liked our food or if we needed anything else. And after asking for a check, he forgot about us once again, and then i had to ask him again to pay. Come on Tiffany?! There are so many other locations with a nice view and "tea time", please re-evaluate your team and chefs. I do have to say, the hostess was super nice and the gentleman by the plates was very knowledgeable.
