Ended up at this location by accident due to clicking the wrong one on the Uber app but I’m thankful we ended up here instead! This location was so cute and felt more NY-ish VS the one in TS. It was busy but we walked in and immediately had a seat available. The staff was super welcoming, the food was amazing and came out in a timely manner & we left SO full. We will definitely be back soon!

OMG what a find!! We called in here on route to our next stop, so glad we did. It was busy however the service was amazing. The menu was extensive & there’s a full range of food including vegetarian… even alcoholic drinks! When our good arrived we were amazed at the size of the portions aswell as the quality! Highly recommended!!

We went out for dinner at Carnegie Diner. The food was excellent — truly delicious. But above all, it was Christina’s service that made our evening. Her warm smile and genuinely positive attitude elevated the entire experience. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again.

Loved this place. Very convenient to Central Park South and hotels. Carnegie Hall is right the street. While I was there, a musician came in with her cello and got some takeout. I had a breakfast omelette, which was delicious. Super friendly staff - Nick, the Maître d’ , greeting me like I was a regular customer and made me feel right at home. I met some locals there… always a good sign. Raquel was my server, who was attentive without rushing things. Carnegie has a cool vibe, with photos of some of Carnegie’s famous artists on the walls. I happen to be seated near a poster of Charlie Parker one of my personal favorites. Overall a wonderful, relaxing experience.

We did OpenTable reservation. Be on time. Specially if Christmas or New Years Eve. We were greeted pleasantly, atmosphere is perfectly for a Christmas Day Brunch. Prices are very reasonable. Our server Stavros is Greek/ Albanian. Lovely experience. We ordered goat Cheese salad, eggs with Steak.

My adult child friend from high school wanted to take my daughter to a brunch on her birthday. I never been to this location, so a tagged along. There was a wait time when with a reservation. However, once we were seated, the server was fast. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. The diner has a menu that is like a text book with many options. The plus was that they offer unlimited mimosa which my child and her friend enjoyed. The atmosphere is a pure New York vibe. I will definitely returned.

This place is the epitome of hustle and bustle but the weight staff make it look like an elegant dance! Service was great and so was the food. We got a pastrami Reuben and a stack of strawberry banana waffles. Absolutely amazing and worth the wait!

Probably the best hamburger I’ve ever had. We had a lovely meal tonight, we ordered mozzarella sticks which were great followed by 4 different burgers and they were all fantastic. The chips were great too and the portions were enormous! Will try to revisit earlier in the day to sample the breakfast/brunch/lunch options. The service was quick & staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great spot for classic American comfort food! I had the chicken tenders with pancakes and my wife ordered the classic eggs Benedict - everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge, and the service was friendly and helpful. Even though the place was packed, we waited maybe three minutes for a table. Highly recommended!

Amazing everything in the perfect location, a few steps from the park. The pancakes are some of the best we had, ever. The omelette was huge and the hash browns really good. Plus the service was impeccable, efficient and friendly. Price was right too! Only negative is that everybody wants to go there, so expect to wait even when you have a reservation. But it's all worth it!

Showing up for a bustling breakfast, this place didn’t disappoint! A quick 10 minute wait for a table, I was ready to order a margarita from the busy bartender and enjoy a bagel sandwich! Sandwich was delicious, the New York bagel seemed well-worth the hype. This place is always busy I’m thinking, but they turn out great looking food and keep the tables turning!

Fantastic meal, awesome diner! The omelet was great. Morning burger awesome, and the little one loved the banana Nutella pancakes. Best part is that none of the food is too salty, flavored just right and tastes super healthy even when it's bacon, sausage, etc. Loved it!

This place is an absolute gold mine, and now I understand why—it’s always packed! Pro tip: come in groups of two for the best chance at quick seating. Our server, Vasilis, was outstanding. My boyfriend found this place on TikTok and shared it with me, and I’m really glad he did. They offer mocktails, which I appreciated since I’m not drinking for the month of January—very considerate of him for thinking of me. I had the Cucumber Fresh mocktail and it was delicious. My brother ordered the Bee-Hind mocktail, which was on the sweeter side but not overly sweet. My boyfriend had the Redfreshment—it was a bit bitter, but I actually liked that since I enjoy bitter flavors. For food, I ordered the Southern chicken and waffles, and that was the best decision. I loved that the chicken was in strips. My only complaint was the service: the waiters gave us plenty of space, which is nice, but they didn’t really check in on us as often as I would’ve liked. The atmosphere was comfy and cute. Overall, I’d give this restaurant a 4/5.

Food was delicious and ambience is wonderful. Brunch options and menu is vast! Location is great by the train and many nyc attractions. My kids enjoyed their pancakes, and my jumbo shrimp pasta was perfection!! We did have a wait time and place is busy!!

Insanely fast service! We made a reservation and still had to wait about 10ish minutes to be seated. There was a line out front waiting and every table was packed to they definitely try to turn over quick. Orders were taken fast and it felt like food arrived less than 5 min later. Massive portions and everything was so tasty! We were kind of ushered out pretty quick after eating but I understand they had to get through the rush. I’d come back but def make a reservation if you can!

Had a deliciously juicy burger and the fries were crispy and fresh as well! The side salad was also very refreshing. The service was excellent and pretty quick. We’ve known that this place is known for their layered chocolate cake. It was very moist but on the sweeter and rich side. If you enjoy that type of dessert you’ll really love this option. Overall, a great first experience.

We were greeted right away and given the choice of indoor or outdoor seating—we chose the patio and really enjoyed it. Drinks came quickly, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. Service was friendly, though when it got busy, refills and small requests like extra syrup or condiments took a bit longer. On the positive side, we were impressed watching the host handle a customer issue with professionalism. Overall, great food and atmosphere—just expect slightly slower service during busy times.

I recently visited Carnegie Diner & Cafe and overall had a very memorable experience—both good and bad. Let’s start with the food: I ordered the pork chop, which was excellent—tender, juicy, and flavorful. The chicken wings were a standout as well—crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and packed with delicious seasoning. The grilled chicken salad was fresh and nicely balanced, and the French fries were hot and crispy, just the way I like them. You could tell everything was freshly prepared and made with care. The restaurant was very busy and full, which shows how popular it is. The atmosphere was lively, and service was still friendly despite the crowd. It was clear that many people come here to enjoy hearty portions and good quality diner food. However, I do have to mention something that truly shocked me. While enjoying my meal, I noticed cockroaches crawling out from under the bench where I was sitting. It was a deeply unpleasant surprise and ruined part of an otherwise great experience. Cleanliness should always be a top priority, especially in a food establishment. I strongly urge management to address this immediately with proper pest control and a thorough cleaning to ensure a safe and hygienic dining environment for all guests. I truly enjoyed the food and would love to return, but only after I feel confident that the cleanliness issue has been taken seriously and resolved.
