Excellent place to get a slice of pizza for true NYC/Wall St feeling. Place was very clean and pizza is nice and hot.
The pizza is perfect. Try the Lasagna slice and savor every bite.
Out of this world, hands down the best pizza EVER! So affordable too! Great service and atmosphere.
Its really good !!! Big thanks to Denis
It's the go to pizzeria in the neighborhood. Super thin crust, fresh and tasty pizza that's open late night and priced just right.
Amazing food Colleen is wonderful I can’t believe she went out of her way to help not only myself out but my family thank you so much I will be back
Good Food - Great Price Pizza is good and $5 special for two slices and small soda can't be beat
Solid experience. Food is prepared fast & tastes great for its price point. No complaint there
Love the pizza here and the staff is friendly theres always a soccer game on the big screen.
We were here while visiting NYC this past week. We ate a lot of pizza and this was by far the BEST!!! So good and worth the stop.
My to go pizzeria near work, if I want to skip a healthy dinner, which happens to me once a week at least. Be aware when asking for extra cheese - these guys take it seriously: I've asked for two pepperoni with extra cheese 11 hours ago and still not hungry : )
One of the best pizzas I have ever tried. We also had some great laughs with the chief.
Food was great and the staff was very nice and willing to accommodate my son's allergies. The pizza and garlic knots tasted amazing. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
I got a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza. It was spicy but not too spicy, and at a low price. I would recommend it.
Crust was thin but sauce and cheese were delicious
There aren't a lot of places in FiDi to get a slice so this is a great option if you're in the area. However, it's so good, I go out of my way to get a Cucina Bene pie. Their slices are way better than your average slice. They use really great ingredients, the cheese is amazing.
Amazingly yummy thin crust pizza slices for 3.75$. Few flavors but cosy, small and comfortable.. Will recommend for tourists crossing this place. Awesome chicken mushroom and spinach pizza
Great, quick lunch spot right by my office. Their regular slices are awesome and I love their salads and soups. The red lentil soup is very good. Can’t beat their prices/lunch deals either.
Amazing family owned pizza place. The cheese is so creamy, it tastes like such high quality mozzarella. And the crust is so good. Fair prices. Love this place, easily my favorite in Lower Manhattan.
Hands down best pizza place in FiDi for a quick slice. So many options on the menu, there’s something for everyone - even a regular slice hits the spot. The impulse buy baklava at the register is SO worth it. Guy behind the counter also gave me a couple slices of pepperoni on the side for my dog <3
Best slice of cheese in Manhattan. Been coming here for over a decade. Glad to see the quality hasn't degraded one bit.
Great pizza. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff. Not much h space to sit with a large group.
stopped to grab their 2 slices and a soda for 5.99 deal and was amazed with how good their slices are! 10:10 recommend nice thin crust pizza
BEST PIZZA IN NYC FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD ALL PIZZA IN NYC. food service literally the best. Take out is soo good. Everyone that works there is sooo nice!!!
Great pizza place tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Great staff, very personable.
Not only is the pizza amazing. The folks here are always the absolute nicest! I’ll go out of my way to get a slice here.
Definitely one of the last holdouts of classic NYC style and flavor of pizza. It's not expensive, very fast service and usually not that busy or too full for seating. Just know what you want, they take cash or card.
One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten recently in this place. Definitely, welcome to give a try out and enjoy delicious pizza time with friends and guests. Thanks you all for all your efforts and making great pizza.
The best NY-style cheese slice, flavorful sauce, thin and crispy crust. Definitely worth ordering by the pies!
Everything was great. The pizza was absolutely delicious and so was the service. Will definitely be back next time in New York City.
Saw an A Frame sign at the corner of Exchange Place and Williams Street advertising pizza half a block up. Friendly helpful staff and delicious pizza. Had 2 slices of Cheese and a Sausage Pepperoni. Ate in and met the proprietor Victor who was very friendly also. A great neighborhood pizza place. Thank you !
I stopped by Cucina Bene Pizza and got their lunch special: two cheese slices and a soda. The slices were fresh, hot, and had the perfect crispy crust with melty cheese. For a quick, affordable lunch, it really hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back since it’s only a few steps away from 40 Wall Street. Super convenient for anyone working in the area. Friendly service and great value make this place an easy favorite.
Accidental find after walking around NY, kids were starving, and so glad we stumbled across this shop. Best pizza we've had, kids & adults loved it, started with a couple of pieces and ended up buying a few more. If you're around this area definitely worth the stop. Enjoy.
After seeing the NYSE + Fearless Girl, we wanted a slice or two of pizza. My friend and I found this place on Google right around the corner from where we were. She ordered a plain cheese slice + a veggie slice. The thin crust was the best part for her. I had a slice of classic pepperoni + pepperoni/sausage. The slices were perfection for me. We also got a small drink for each of us. We spent less than $12 for the slices and drink. The staff was so pleasant + kind to us. They gave us some ideas of other places to see near them.
The cheese pizza here is absolutely the BEST! The fresh mozzarella and the deliciously tangy tomato sauce, perfectly spiced, made every bite a delight. It was even better than Joe's Pizza, which says a lot. The service was excellent as well—the staff served with big smiles and were incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to all pizza lovers. Can't wait to visit again!
Of the 3 cheap, by-the-slice pizza places we tried while visiting New York, this one was the best. The eggplant pizza was amazing, flavorful and a perfect crispy crust. The service was fast and friendly. I would definitely like to eat here again and try one of their many other pizza toppings options as well.
WOW, absolutely the top 3 for NY style pizza. If your looking for a great little place for lunch or even a whole pie to take with you then you need to stop here. Will be on my list to come to every time i’m in NY now. you will not be disappointed. staff are great, food is so flavorful and you must try the buffalo chicken.
Great pizza for a dollar more than the standard slice price. You can slightly find better for slightly less, but not in this neighborhood.
Solid slice - mozzarella / tomato / basil. Sauce slightly sweet, and a firm, thin, flavorful crust.
Good place for standard New York Pizza 🍕. Lunch special: 2 cheese slices and a small soda for $5 is a good deal
Very good pizza. Prices are average for area. Cold A/C
Had the cheese pizza at 11:30pm. Was fantastic. Awesome base and great tomato sauce.
Wasn't expecting much but for the price and location it's a good option for a quick snack or meal.
Great local pizza place..Always have a lot of different slices..and fast delivery to the neighborhood. Definitely one of the best spots in the area.
Tasty and fresh chicken and margarita pizza, service was excellent, plenty of room to dine in, a bright spot in the finance district, but, this lunch was pricey in comparison with other places, no drinks included
The guy serving my pizza wasn’t very friendly but the place is nice and clean and the pizza was good! I’ll go back to try other things in the future!
great pizza but you’ve gotta order a whole pie. The slices have been sitting there for a while.
Nice big TV for viewing. Saw the owner quietly feed a needy person for free and I was really touched. Huge drink selection.
Just tried this place earlier today. I'm in NYC for business and it's right by Club Quarters where i'm staying. The pizza was great. It is thin crust though, so if you're looking for a thick crust, look elsewhere. Very reasonably priced. My bill was $9 which included 2 slices, 4 garlic knots and a Coke Zero. The service was OK. They weren't rude or anything, but I wouldn't call them nice either. All in all, a good place to go for a quick bite
The pizza is consistently delicious and fresh. It’s also around the corner from work for me so I eat here fairly often. Prices are very good for the area and everything I’ve tried is great. My only complaint about the place is the blonde lady who works in there. I’ve seen her scream obscenities across the packed restaurant while smoking right in front of the door and yelling at the other guys on the staff. If not acting like that she just sort of snatches your card and doesn’t even react when you tell her thank you. I know from experience these jobs aren’t much fun but she clearly hates being there
Was in the area with a friend and we stopped here to get some pizza. Did not disappoint. Only thing is the place is a little dirty, but still, highly recommend if you're in the mood for some good old fashioned NYC style pizza.
The Pizza is very good, thin crust, toppings like meatballs, pepperoni, and Sausage, are all beef. I haven't tried any of the others. They also serve other Italian dishes. I haven't tried of them, so I can't give an opinion on them. A menu can be found on line...
A hidden gem. This place is clean, a nice restroom, and most importantly, GREAT FOOD! Ordered (1) Meat calazo ($9.00) and (3) pepperoni slices (3.50 each). This place is the definition of a New York style pizza. Will come back if I'm in the area.
I came here on a Friday with my girlfriend to see a live performance and get a drink. What I actually got was ripped off and headache from frustration. We arrived about an hour early before the performance (scheduled for 8). We paid 20 dollars each for the cover charge just to have a bar seat, and ours was closest to the band and actually facing them. The other seats faced toward the bar and away from the band, and if you weren't early enough to snag a bar seat you were probably crammed standing behind me as they pack people in like sardines into this place. Even though my seat was probably the best spot for the view, I had other people constantly hitting me and my seat as they entered the dining area (which was 35 dollars). The idiots haven't realized that setting up a divider right by the coat check in and bar creates a traffic jam. The layout sucks, plain and simple. All it took was 1 look at the prices to make me not want to waste money on drinks. 9 bucks for a bud light is a joke. 12 for a martini isn't absurd for a New York bar, but I saw the waitresses bringing them to other customers and It looked like a small cup loaded with ice, which I could chug down in 2 gulps. No thanks I rather buy a pizza pie. Again, It pains me to say we got a good spot because it was actually terrible. The seats make you feel like your butt is hanging off the whole time and they are awkwardly high up so you can't rest your feet
Living right here by Cucina Bene for a while, I can say that there is a lack of good single slice options in the area, in fact, there really aren't ANY good ones in a 5 minute walking radius which is surprising being that it's New York City. If you're really craving a slice and not a whole pie, I would say that this place does a good job with their plain slice, everything else, EH. They also have a pretty killer lunch deal if you want something cheap, and they're open late if you're out of options.
Guy made me repeat myself numerous times and ultimately messed up my order. Take out your headphones instead of making me yell! 3 stars because pizza is good and every prior experience has been good.
Ordered a lasagna. Was very different being I got the impression this was s authentic Italian restaurant. The lasagna was made with scraps of pasta and very little meat etc. The staff was very nice and engaging.
Surprisingly very good. A different style than I’m used to but very good thin crust pizza with the sauce going to the edge. Went there about 5pm on a Monday the pizza on display looked like it was left out for several days. I ordered a fresh whole pie and it was very good. Looking forward to coming back and trying their lasagna pizza and their different types of chicken pizza.
Came by an hour before close, had a few slices. Garlic knots were good but for lower Manhattan, pizza was just OK. Maybe in the middle of the day it's better but prices are the same at 9pm so I'd like the same quality.
Takes like 35 mins to make a basic sandwich with no modifications when there is no line inside at all
The sauce is terrible making everything the sauce is on terrible. Which sucks cuz this is an Italian place and there’s sauce on everything. Fries were over cooked. The Caesar salad is bomb though.
Well... it WAS one of my favorite pizza places in the Financial District because of their prices and quality. BUT now I’m not sure I’ll be returning. Today, a regular day in 2018, one of the employees yelled at their non-English speaking delivery boy. It was no regular ol’ scolding, I’m talking across-the-restaurant LOUD! And then the man looks me in the eye, a paying customer, BEFORE CONTINUING TO HUMILIATE THE DELIVERY BOY. For something as minor as putting some soup in the right bag.... I’m honestly disappointed. They all seem so nice, especially the female employee. But I personally don’t support businesses that treat their employees like this!
Food is super bland like no flavor and weird aftertaste in the chicken and delivery took over an hour for 3 blocks.
Decent pizza, I ordered a whole pie and customized it so the owner wouldn’t reuse a premade one he was trying to pawn off. Of course he reused the old stale pie instead of bake a new one. I don’t care how good it is laziness and re-heated whole pies are not ok. Hard pass on this place if other options are available, no thanks.
The slice I had here was really good so I ordered eggplant Parmesan Friday night and it was quite possibly one of the worst things I have ever eaten. I think they should take that off the menu if they cannot execute it any better than that. Sauce was tasteless, the eggplant was stringy and tough, there was so much breading that fell off the eggplant and just became a mushy gross texture in the sauce. Even the cheese was rubbery. Not good, don’t recommend.
Pizza is ok but every time I go the guy heating up my pizza is ALWAYS moody and acts as if I inconvenienced him. Maybe that's why it's never very busy.
the service is so freakin nasty and bad it’s almost funny to watch. pizza and price are fine
I don’t recommend this place,Services is horrible, Staff angry all the time, pizza is not fresh is cold and Nasty
Atrorious. Pizza slice was old and stale. Threw it away after 2 bites. Same happened to a friend recently. They are keeping their unsold inventory around too long.
I used to go to this place a long time ago. I have a feeling this place was sold to someone else. The people serving are not friendly at all. I ordered a chicken parm and they put the bread in the microwave that just tells me its not fresh. I will not be coming back.
I just went in to get a basic house salad with grilled chicken. After waiting for 5 minutes I received a small pizza box with the instructions "be careful". I did my best to keep the box at perfect level to the horizon as I walked 3 blocks back to my office. After stepping off the curb my entire leg was soaked with salad dressing. Hopefully eating it would be a better experience than my embarrassment for having crap pants for the rest of the day. So much for having ruined not only my pants (I hope the stains come out) but my appetite. The salad was floating in salad dressing F.L.O.A.T.I.N.G. Don't discount the amount that was already on my pants and all over wall street. The pizza box, the included napkins and utensils, now my cubical is a greasy mess. You might be saying oh you had a bad day. Why yes reader I had a bad day and just to state for the record the salad was gross and the chicken had no taste and barely looked grilled. The office vending machine is looking good to me now - bon appetit
Pizza was very old and dried out. As I was eating, another man came in and ordered a slice of cheese. There was a fresh pie just pulled out and they tied to give him the last older slice. He called them out. So they gave him a slice out of the new pie and replace it back with the old piece...
Pizza was ok, tables were dirty, and they were blasting Fox News.
Pizza is very old & test is very bad. Personally I don’t like pizza .
Food is fine, employees are the worst. An awful attitude from the cashier, they all Look like irritated, like if they’re making you a favor for being there. Also one of the staff members ( an old man) kinda told us to leave because we were in front of his sight or I don’t know. Never coming back.
Pizza was not good at all. I also had stomach cramps the whole afternoon after eating it.
