I personally work around the block from this spot. And when i say i order almost every single day from here, i mean it. The food is amazing! not only do they have different lunch specials every day. They give you more then 4 options to choose from. The spot isn't so much about its appearance but its more about how fresh and delicious their food is. The girls that work there are great! they are friendly but remember they are there to do a job. So obviously from time to time they are running around really busy. I recommend everything on the menu!

The food was delicious!!! I ordered a churrasco that came to my table sizzling off a hot plate. Our food came in less than 15 min. Everything was great, luckily my friend was there to translate beyond my basic knowledge of Spanish because the waitress can’t speak any English AT ALL. doesn’t matter though bc there’s a picture and number of every dish on the menu. Great job!!!

Super clean location. The sea food was delicious, the kids food was great. A table of 6 satisfied, but took a while to bring a few things like rice and the kids french fries.

Came here with a friend. I had their special. It was the veggie soup accompanied with rice & beans. Food was tasty & yummy! My friend agrees that the food is delicious too, The only reason I don't give this place more stars is for several reasons: They add an "automatic tip" with no heads up or notice Also, this is more of a Colombian restaurant than Mexican. It claims to be half Mexican but I barley saw any Mexican dishes (I wanted tacos, not on the menu). This place leans more towards a Colombian restaurant. In regards to the Service, it wasn't bad or whatnot, The service was okay

No solucionaron nada.. me quedo mil veces con la pollera colorada de la norten los cocineros de ahi ofrecen lo que dicen el menu, no lo que ellos quieren.

Mi esposo y yo estubimos alli y pedimos la comida del dia. Oh sorpresa cuando llegó : 4 cucharadas de arroz, 2 cucharadas de frijol y 3 tiritas de carne esmechada, todo por el valor de $9.95 cada plato mas 2 botellas de agua. En total pagamos $30.48. Esto extremadamente caro para la cantidad de comida que dieron y comparado con los otros restaurantes colombianos alrededor de esta zona. Por eso cuando entramos estaba solo y el otro restaurante colombiano a unos pocos metros estaba hasta reventar. Si siguen asi con esos precios nadie va a entrar. No vuelvo allí. Aparte cobran de una vez la propina sin preguntar y el servicio super lento y eso q solo estabamos nosotros dos.

El lugar muy bonito pero de comida se trata muy mala. Pedimos el almuerzo y fue un gasto total la SOPA de mondongo estaba demaciada salada estaba tomando agua de mar, me la cambiaron por SOPA de costillas pero estaba igual de salada. No aprovados muy mala la comida que pena. 😥😥😩

Cuando vas en familia,te cobran la propina sin preguntarte, además te terminan preguntando si vas a agregar la propina otra vez. Como si no la hubiesen cobrado!! Realice una orden por Uber eats de dos pollos enteros con papas fritas y yuca frita , y mi sorpresa es que cuando me llega el pedido uno de los pollos está viejo recalentado y con mal olor , realizo el reclamo al restaurant y me atiende la señorita lorena quien me indica que es mesera en el lugar , me dice que llame en dos minutos y al segundo llamado me comenta que el supervisor no se encuentra y que llame al día siguiente a las 9:00 am ya que no se encuentra ningún personal que pueda darme alguna solución. De las peores experiencias en un restaurante Latino en New York. La mesera súper irrespetuosa y racista. Da mucha tristeza que uno busca restaurantes que le recuerden a su país, sin embargo, en café Valdez, te traten de forma racista y diferencial si eres negro. Lo peor de todo, es que solicite hablar con el manager y supuestamente no estaba. Pedimos la ensalada de la casa porque uno de las personas que iban conmigo es vegana. Cuando llegó la ensalada traía pollo. De manera muy respetuosa, le solicitamos si nos podría cambiar la orden ya que no queríamos proteína animal; a lo que la mesera respondió que todas las ensaladas traían carne y que en menú lo decía claramente. Por lo tanto, solicite el menú nuevamente para ver si era error de nosotros. A lo que veo, en el menú no decía si la ensalada traía proteína animal. Así que le solicite si nos podría cambiar la orden a lo que se dio la espalda y me dejo hablando sola y mencionó debíamos ordenar otra cosa. A lo que yo me paro a buscar el manager, ahi si se acerca a mi a decir que si la puede cambiar, cuando antes lo había negado de forma enfática y displicente. El peor lugar, no lo recomiendo!!!! Y ojalá alguna día aparezca el manger ya que la supuesta persona encargada no supo solucionar la situación. ¡No recomiendo este lugar!

Terrible service ! I went with my family and one of my family members ordered a burger and asked it to be done without any cheese , tomato and onions my sister is lactose intolerant we politely asked to get the burger changed because the burger came with cheese the server who says he name was Veronica was very rude and said it was out fault and that we had not ordered without cheese and didn’t want to change it. I’m not sure if her name is actually Veronica because the receipt had another name on it. This wasn’t the only she got wrong and didn’t want to change either of the plates.

Review based on UberEATS/GrubHub orders: First time I ordered via UberEATS, they took FOREVER to get to me despite being a 10 minute drive away. The delivery driver made it 2 minutes before the "latest arrival time", which was almost 2 hours after I ordered, so UberEATS refused to refund any part of my $60+ order. Food was completely cold. However, it was pretty good so I decided to give them another shot. Ordered via GrubHub this time at 7pm with an ETA of 7:45. I gave them a call at 8:20 since my food hadn't arrived and wasn't able to be traced since restaurant staff was supposed to deliver. The woman who picked up the phone only spoke Spanish and claimed there was NO ONE in the ENTIRE restaurant who spoke English.... I get that it's a Spanish restaurant, but does this mean that they only serve Spanish people?? How is anyone who can't speak Spanish expected to order or solve issues? So in broken Spanish, I managed to tell her what was going on. She said that their GrubHub wasnt working and just told me repeatedly they couldn't do anything about it. When I questioned why they accepted the order and why were still open on grubhub she just told me to call GrubHub.... Luckily GrubHub refunded my money, but it's extremely frustrating that the restaurant staff didn't even say sorry once or try to make up for it. Never ordering from here again and I suggest you never do from online food services either.

I typically don't have a problem with restaurants but this one really takes the cake The food is undercooked and the server did not appear to be happy to attend us, had a slight attitude You would think that if they were gonna charge as much for food it would atleast be decent n not feel like it's been microwave They only accept cash and don't take cards which is surprising considering the amount they want to charge for a meal especially if you go in a group Either way I'm not coming back here I've been to better restaurants with better service and food

I rarely complain about food but the food here is atrocious. The fact that the chef has no problem serving up rotten fish is beyond disturbing. The beef with mushroom sauce was also absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies. Stay away!
