We arrived slight unsure this restaurant it would actually live up to the hype that we’ve been hearing! But let me tell you, the truffle pizza was absolutely perfect—thanks not just to the black truffle (obviously) but also to the amazing crust and the quality of the dough, topped off with a cheesy crust that was incredible. A true culinary gem. The rigatoni with tomato sauce and pancetta took me back and really hit that nostalgic comfort-food spot, text book al dente. For dessert, we were recommended the chocolate mousse/pudding with a twist of passionfruit and almond; once again, we were blown away. The waitstaff were outstanding—like the kind of guys you’d want as your groomsmen: genuinely nice all around and happy to show love. They even surprised us with sparklers for our anniversary! We’ll definitely be back for more.

We had a truly excellent experience this evening at Mamo. Giorgi was our host & amplified our hospitality experience to the next level. He gave us such specific care and service, it made our visit so special . We were offered some excellent white wine selections from Italy and my favorite, a Chablis from France, followed by some excellent recommended, starters and entrées. We particularly loved the Come a Capri & Melanzane alla parmigiana. The La nostra Cacio & Pepe is not to be missed & we will be dreaming about it until we return. The Polletto arrosto con verdure di stagione was excellent & I especially loved the vegetables served with it. The dessert menu looked excellent, and we indulged in the crème brûlée. It was excellent and we cannot wait to bring family and friends back. Thank you again for the wonderful staff at Mamo for making our visit so wonderful.

Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. The place has such a nice vibe super aesthetic and perfect if you’re into cozy dinners or cute pics for the gram. The pasta? So good. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but honestly worth it for the quality. I’d totally come back whenever I’m craving a solid pasta fix.

Mamo was an incredible dining experience! The food was a solid 10/10—absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. We had the spicy eggplant with herb crumbles, and wow, it was amazing! The service started out great, but once we got our main course, our waiter seemed to disappear. We waited quite a while for the check after we were done eating. However, the amazing food and beautiful ambience more than made up for it. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

I celebrated my birthday Lunch at Mamo and it was truly a delightful experience. The restaurant exudes a beautiful classic chic ambiance that sets the perfect tone for a special occasion. The food was absolutely amazing - I indulged in the truffle ravioli and branzino with purple rice, both of which were cooked to perfection. The ice cream with warm strawberries was the perfect sweet ending to my meal. As an appetizer, I enjoyed the flavorful tuna dish. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and made me feel truly special on my birthday. I highly recommend Mamo for anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience with delicious food ❤️🥂

My friend and I had the most wonderful night at Mamo. As I got in the staff was super friendly and they made us feel at home.Lauren was our server and she was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know about the menu so we ended up ordering a few of her suggestions and we were very pleased with the food: Burrata hazelnut truffle,simply delicious! Angel hair shrimp pistachio pasta and Eggplant parmigiana! Everything was 10/10! Thanks for Making my last night in New York memorable.

Definitely one of the most delightful Italian restaurants in town. Each dish offers a refreshing twist on traditional Italian cuisine, with innovative combinations that stand out. I highly recommend trying all of the appetizers. The pasta, in particular, is exceptional and surpasses the main courses. I celebrated my birthday here and had a wonderful experience. Although the service felt a bit rushed due to the busy Friday night, I wish the staff could have been more patient. The overall atmosphere is cozy, and despite the tables being close together, it wasn’t noisy. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality makes it worth returning—especially for the pasta.

I took my family who’s visiting us from Arizona to this place Mamo early December. This is our first time. Food: is average, but then again I only have there Cacio e Pepe and its well worth it. Dessert is decent, nothing special. Service is wonderful. The crew is attentive and friendly. Ambiance: I gave it a 2 as there is nothing special about this place. We were seated on 1st floor, place is a bit cramp (typical NYC little restaurant) but it’s clean. No loud music so you can have conversations with people.

The food and ambience were wonderful, but we were disappointed by the host’s attitude. We had reserved a month in advance to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday, traveling from London to meet friends from D.C. When they tried to take a photo, the host, Tamara, approached them rather abruptly about the restaurant’s photo policy, which dampened the celebration. It was unfortunate, as we truly expected a warmer experience from such a lovely restaurant.

Great atmosphere and service. The food did not live up to our expectations. The cacio Pepe was oily. The fried artichokes were ok. Our pasta heavy handed. Eggplant had a burned taste to it. The wine starting prices were a bit too high.

The service and atmosphere is fantastic at Mano, it’s a great place to go for either a date or with friends. The Agave Negroni was incredible too, big fan. The truffle burrata was the best burrata I’ve ever tried. I would come here just to have the burrata. It actually pairs well with their truffle pizza too. Match made in heaven. BUT the truffle pizza on its own was subpar, was somewhat dry, and did not have any other flavour outside of truffle and thick cheese. The pasta was just OK. The cacio e pepe just tasted like olive oil with some cream. The rigatoni was just a tad too sour. And the gnocchi, while fried beautifully, lacked any depth of flavour. Truffle burata = 5 stars any day Unfortunately the rest of the menu we tried was disappointing.

Had dinner at Mamo and really enjoyed the atmosphere—stylish and lively. The drinks were amazing and definitely the highlight. We had the Margherita pizza and Gamberi Rosi to start, which were good but not standout. For mains, the brisket pasta special was the best dish, while the Rigatoni all’Amatriciana was just okay. Service was excellent, and overall, it’s a great spot for drinks and ambiance, though the food was just good, not memorable.

Lack the class and management of a high end restaurant. Long wait, despite booking and complete lack of apology. See story below. I was made to wait 30 minutes past my reservation slot. When I complained to the front of desk staff about the wait they assured me the manager would speak to me. Once seated (and after complaining), I was told multiple times the manager would speak to me. However the manager never once approached me to ask what the problem was. Eventually I caught the manager (after he was done paying homage to wealthier looking guests (we were dressed extremely smart fyi)) and he paid no heed to my complaints. He said they were busy and offered no apologies. I pointed out to him two issues: 1. If you have a booking system, and unless there is exceptional circumstances, there is no excuse for delays as you should plan ahead to ensure there is space for reserved guests. 2. Other wealthier looking guests were being seated despite arriving later than us. In fact a table, sat two over from us, were personally greeted by the manager. I am English and this would never happen in a high end restaurant, it was essentially two tiered treatment. No apology was ever made by the manager on shift who was terrible and avoided us the rest of the night. On the bright side: 1. The food was decent(nothing special) a bit heavy on the parmesan but no major complaints. 2. Our server Fernando was lovely 3. After I complained multiple times, I mentioned that traditionally you’d get a free dessert, they gave us free desserts to apologize. I note though that the manager never said sorry (he sent Fernando). To summarise - They have lots of waiters doing different jobs to give the illusion of class but they don’t have an ounce of actual class. They need to train up their management team to understand what high class dining should be.
