These noodle are delicious. Sushi is on point. And a the veggie tempura is a personal fav.
The Shrimp Tempura and Salmon Lovers Box are our favorites!
I ordered delivery on a Saturday evening. The delivery was timely and the food is the real deal. 10/10 would recommend.
The edamame and peppers are great appetizers. The sushi is prepared very nicely.
Incredible lunch specials, incredibly tasty udon and huge portion sizes
Two times ordered delivery. Both times excellent, in terms of service and quality of food. Great Udon, Sushi and misc. appetizers and sides. Highly recommend.
I just ordered the sushi combo, I couldn't be more satisfied! The sushi tasted so fresh and it was all at such a great price. I will definitely be ordering again.
Love this place, and it's great to finally have such a high-quality sushi spot in the neighborhood! Everything we've ordered from this place has been superb—highly recommended!
Happy hour prices were super reasonable. Sangria was perfectly sweet. We had amazing service and will be recommending to friends!
Every meal I've had at Tampopo Kitchen has been top notch. I love this place, always fresh and delicious, creative yet classic menu.
The sushi here is so good! It’s an amazing place. This is the only place where I order blue fin sushi. I was talking to the owner and she said that they buy their blue fin in full loins. It’s great quality.
The delivery, service, and food were all great for our 25-person dinner. I'd recommend Tampopo for similar event catering.
I love this spot!!! Amazing high quality sushi. They have real crab and high quality fish. Everything is executed beautifully
Mallie gave me the best experience I could possibly have there and the sushi was amazing
Very authentic, different soups all great flavor
Picked up my delicious lunch today! So good! Next time will definitely dine in- super cute ambiance.
Artful, exquisite! Incredible sushi! So excited to have this option uptown. Great lunch specials, too.
Delicious sushi and a great lunch special! I love ordering from here because it is always fast and fresh
Food, staff and ambience were all great, and it was really good value. Looking forward to going again very soon. Jon, Briarcliff Manor NY
Great service and great food. I’ve been here a few times now and everything from their sushi to their udon is delicious.
Delicious udon. Just moved to the area and have tried the sushi for lunch (solid option, great value) and had the tan tan udon for dinner. It was packed with umami, the noodles are homemade and have the perfect amount of chewiness. The order was ready quick, staff are really friendly, and it was super fresh when I brought it home. Great spot in the area for takeout.
Love, love, love Tampopo Kitchen! My family lives at the top of Inwood and we regularly order take-out for delivery. We usually get sushi and occasionally noodles The sushi is always fresh and delicious, meals are consistent, beautifully packaged, ordering and delivery are easy and efficient. I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons and have never been glutened from their basic maki rolls and nigiri (make sure to get ones that don't feature any soy sauce). Plus they have the option of gluten free tamari. It is impossible to find gluten free take-out/delivery in the neighborhood so I really appreciate Tampopo Kitchen!
I’ve eaten here twice in the past month and both times were excellent! The food is fresh, carefully prepared and presented and delicious. My daughter adores all of the cat details. It’s a very cute ambiance! Overall would highly recommend.
Delicious chill date night food and vibes, and the kitchen staff and servers had great vibes. Veg tempura and few rolls? *Chef’s kiss.* Update a year later: same sushi chefs, same great vibes and taste.
Ohh my gosh!! Every single thing I’ve ordered has been on point. The sushi taste so fresh. Customer service very good as well. I love Tampopo Kitchen…A great addition to our little corner at 187th. So great! Keep the good work guys!!!
Wow! Lovin' the Tan Tan Udon! Longtime sushi fan, but never had these noodles before. So glad to have such an excellent place in the neighborhood. The website is beautiful. And if you order pickup online, you will get a text when your order is ready.
Delicious, vegan and vegetarian options (just tell them you want tamari and no mayo etc) and adorable decor. Never disappoints
The Japanese Curry Udon was delicious. In particular, the broth had deep, rich umami balanced with warm spices. Curry was one subtle note in the symphony of flavour, which is not what I expected. The noodles were excellent, just the right chewiness.
The food at Tampopo Kitchen is always delicious. The fish is super fresh. My kids love the udon noodles. It’s a great addition the the neighborhood!
So glad to have this excellent new place deliver up here to Inwood (just after Ger Shushi, also very good, moved further South, leaving us in a quality sushi desert...but no more). Fish is well-selected, especially fresh and nicely crafted, we also like the fine presentation that makes an evening dinner into something of a party.
I have to say the sushi here is amazing! It seemed plain to me until I took a bite--such pure and delicious ingredients are not easy to come by. Tempura is also light and tasty. This place is a real find!
Delicious. Loved it. So excited to have a real foodie and serious restaurateur on the block. I notice a one star below. I looked her up. She did this for every restaurant she reviewed. Disregard that one! This place rocks. They just opened to. Like any restaurant they work this out but if you want high quality delicious food this is it. Impressive addition to a fabulous block.
So great to have a reliably excellent sushi place in the neighborhood! I’ve ordered from almost every sushi restaurant uptown and can say for sure this is the absolute best! 😋😋😋
Tasty, high quality sushi, take-out only. We enjoyed our rolls especially the wagyu beef roll made with A5 grade Wagyu beef—umami explosion of flavor! The udon broth was subtle and layered and the handmade noodles possessed a delicious depth of flavor. This is not your “fast food” sushi joint—treat yourself!
We love the food at tampopo kitchen and you can’t really beat the lunch deal here. For $10 only, they have lunch combos such as 2 rolls and a miso soup and the miso soup they have is absolutely delicious! We are lucky to have this establishment in the “restaurant district” of hudson heights.
Small and amazing sushi place in Washington Heights. Don’t let the location deter you, this is some of the best sushi in Manhattan.
They make their own noodles! Very high quality food, and a great selection of sake.
Fresh and delicious sushi, ramen, tempura, and other appetizers. The sushi is beautifully prepared and packaged and everything is delivered with care. The physical restaurant is small, with a counter and just a couple of tables, but the service is very good.
This is my happy place. All the food is amazing and the people are so open and delightful. I adore coming here and reading the manga wallpaper and the cool, hip, Japanese vibe. The sushi is impeccable. I think their fish buyer is a magician because the fatty tuna is AMAZING. Seriously, it's a restaurant that feels like a hug.
This place is fantastic, the neighborhood is very lucky to have this spot. The quality of the sushi is outstanding, the people are always so friendly, and you cannot beat the value. It’s a perfect afternoon when I’m at the counter watching Perfecto make — surprise — perfect hand-rolls, swilling $5 Asahi and enjoying delicious bites of fish and rice. They’re doing very good work here.
I ordered from Tampopo Kitchen recently, when we had friends over, some of whom are vegetarian. I found plenty of vegetarian options on the menu and ordered an assortment of sushi rolls (we loved the Hana rolls) and a variety of udon noodles. Our guests, definitely foodies, praised the dishes, and overall we had a lovely, memorable meal from a local small business. Warm glow all around.
Fresh ingredients is key when offering sushi and sashimi style dishes. I decided to order a little more than to satisfy my hunger because I wanted to try their menu. Fantastic! Tuna Don superb, Mixed Seafood Don, wonderful! The Sea Eel Don: generous with the Eel. California Rolls with real crab: No Joke, they had nice fat pieces of REAL CRAB!! I think we've all had our fair share of that red-dye fake stuff, not here, only the real deal! Thank you Tampopo!!
A neighborhood gem! House made noodles, fresh, mouthwatering sushi, and entrees, often adorned with fresh flowers, that are as pretty to look at as they are to eat!
I order from here often and appreciate that they are in the neighborhood. The food is great and fresh, well prepared but the wait is long. Even when ordering more than an hour (2 hours to be specific) in advance for pick up I still had to wait 25 min while they were making the food after the time it was order to be picked up. That’s just poor service. And I wish they would stop using plastic bags. At this point that’s just not ok.
We ordered Tan Tan udon and was delicious. I would definitely try other types of udon soon. I tried their sushi and thought it was high quality. It may not be as cheap as other neighborhood sushi places, but it's better and a treat for myself. I ordered vegetable tempura too - it was very good and crispy even after the takeout. I am happy that they are here now.
What a great spot in our neighborhood. It has all the things I love about Japanese food. I had the trio tartare over rice and tempura vegetables and it was delicious. The noodles looked to be made on site. I can’t wait to come back and have some sake next. Definitely, give this place a try.
Tasty vegan lunch special - two avo/cucumber rolls and miso soup - for a great price.
My wife and I are so pleased at this excellent addition to the neighborhood. We have ordered various soups, sushi, edamame, and other items. Everything is exquisitely prepared with the freshest ingredients. The menu is varied. If you wish to spend less, there are entry-level preparations. If you wish to go high-end, there is much available as well. The restaurant is take out only, which usually meets our needs, but if you are seeking a sit-down Japanese restaurant, you will have to go down to their sister ramen shop down on Bennett and 181. One amazing thing about their service is that, when you order, they give you a fairly precise time that the food is ready, and when you arrive, it is indeed ready. Try it, and enjoy!!
We were excited when this restaurant opened in our neighborhood. We’ve dined in and ordered in. The food is consistently delicious. Although it has a small dining area, sitting at the counter is the best vantage point to observe the preparation of various rolls. The drinks are also tasty.
I had high hopes that this would be a delicious new addition to the area. And it was better than I expected!! The insane quality Wagyu beef role is just stupidly tasty. The donburi is a special treat because the quality of fish and rice is excellent! The noodles are so good, and the broth is the best kind of umami experience, like gold and rainbows and mushrooms. I also had the real California roll, which I love because the real crab is just incomparable to the cheap rolls you get at normal places. If you don’t care for exceptional rice and delicate fish, house made noodles, excellent broth and soy sauce that are not industrial grade jugs of serviceable stuff, this place may take a repeat to get used to the new perspective. It’s like listening to a song you thought was weird, but you gotta give it another go to appreciate what is being performed here. I’ll be going back for more regularly. Give it a try. This is a high level restaurant hiding in a cute location.
One of the true gems of this neighborhood. Sushi is the best I’ve had in Manhattan, period. The Udon? Amazing. This place is a must try, we order at least once a week.
We love getting takeout from tampopo. Their sushi is miles and above any other delivery or takeout options in the area. The salmon rolls specifically are our favorite! And the crispy rice appetizer is an amazing addition to the menu/
I went to tampopo kitchen today with my mom and had the greatest experience. Riley was amazing and even though there was a bit of a wait, he set great expectations and got us seated as quickly as possible. He was super attentive while wrapping up to go orders and made sure we had an amazing experience. The fish was incredibly fresh and the rolls are made with expertise in front of your face. The only complaint I could make is that the grains of rice weren’t all facing the same direction
I absolutely love the service here! Every time I walk in, the whole staff greets me with such a warm welcome. The food and drinks never miss – they’re absolutely to die for. I always go for the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy yellowtail – yes, I’m all about that spice! The staff are Hispanic, which makes communicating a breeze and the whole experience even more enjoyable
My server Rosi was so sweet very attentive you can see her hard work. And the people who work at the back house very clean and professional.
Delicious, fresh, yummy, flavorful… there are not enough superlatives to describe my dinner at tampopo kitchen! I’m so glad I came here. I’d love to return and try more menu items.
Tampopo hits the spot again with their Sushi & Udon featured menu items. I enjoy the food and dining experience. I will say that this is very small location with limited seating so if it’s busy you may have to wait. However, it makes it a nice intimate vibe for a date or dinner with a friend. I loved the Tan Tan Ramen with shrimp shumai appetizer. Everything was delicious and the sushi was prepared fresh in front of us. I will be back!
Fantastic uptown sushi restaurant with fresh, quality cuts of seafood and tasty sake. You can see the staff making fresh Ramen noodles and broth daily. There are limited seats, but don't worry as plenty of bar stools are available. Sushi platters are great value and I absolutely loved the tempura prawn roll with avocado... The perfect mix of fresh, spicy and crunchy.
Delicious sushi spot in this sweet little neighborhood! The udon also looks great but we can never pull ourselves away from the sushi menu. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the service is always so warm and wonderful! Love sitting at the bar for a special date and enjoying excellent happy hour deals on drinks until 6pm daily. Highly recommend!
We visited to celebrate, so as well as a little too much of the (very tasty) food, we each had a sake flight, which I would absolutely recommend doing if you'd like to discover your taste in sake, or just have an excellent experience. We got to choose from a rather random selection of cups for the sake and it was fun looking at the different ones and discovering hidden details. The three saki were not poured all at once, but in order through the meal (I saved a few sips for comparisons). We also had a pot of hot tea (genmaicha). Food wise, we shared vegetable tempura, then I had udon soup and a pair of hand rolls. This was too much food! Service was truly excellent, and I would absolutely recommend this place!
Literal hidden gem in all of NYC. Usually don’t visit Dyckman but loved coming here for lunch. Extremely affordable, great quality food, and Ignacio was so humble and welcoming. Highly recommend coming for happy hour ($3 shots and $8 cocktail). Spicy donburi was great and so was the shrimp tempura. We are coming for sure.

This tiny but cozy Japanese restaurant serves up amazing Ramen and a selection of sushi rolls. The quality of the food and Ingredients are top-notch. Service and wait staff are extremely patient and accommodating. A true hidden gem. I didn’t want to review this spot in fear of gaining popularity. Check out Tampopo Kitchen while you’re in Washington Heights or on your way home from work. You won’t regret the food.

Food is so good at Tampopo, I can’t resist and take out about 5 days a week. Lunch and dinner! My go to are Tan tan udon or ramen, great for cold winter days. Absolute favourite is Shellfish donburi bowl or sashimi. Seafood is always fresh and prepared with care, I like the quality control here. Thank you Tampopo team🦞
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tampopo Kitchen is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. I love this place. Tampopo Kitchen is the sister restaurant to Tampopo Ramen, and it’s my go-to when I’m in the mood for something a little different. The sushi here is really, really good — clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. My mom will literally come all the way up from Delaware and ask, “Can we go to Tampopo Kitchen?” That should tell you everything. We’ll usually grab a big sushi platter and take it over to Fort Tryon Park, which is right nearby, and just enjoy the day. The quality of the fish really stands out — you can tell it’s fresh and handled with care. Even though I usually go to Tampopo Ramen specifically for ramen, I still enjoy getting ramen here too. Their lunch specials are great, and the overall experience is just solid. The aesthetics and atmosphere are beautiful — when you walk in, it really transports you somewhere else. Being in the Heights, surrounded by a predominantly Latino neighborhood, stepping inside feels like a cultural shift in the best way. The decor is thoughtful, the space is calming, and even little details — like the bathroom (which I’m pretty sure has a Japanese-style toilet) — show how much intention went into the place. Sitting at the bar and watching food being prepared is also a dope experience. You can see the care in real time. Great service, great people, chill vibes, and consistently good food. This has been a meaningful addition to the neighborhood, and I’ve been coming here for years now. Always happy to support and recommend it. — Teyvon 🍣🍜
Tampopo Kitchen has the best fresh sushi in the area. Regular customer. Seating is limited but take out is done exceptionally well. Highly recommend. Sister restaurant is just as good, Tampopo Ramen currently on Bennett.
This is hands-down my favorite sushi spot. The fish is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the prices are honestly unbeatable for the quality. Every roll hits, every time. Fast service, consistent flavors, and never disappoints. Perfect go-to for great sushi without breaking the bank
Absolutely lovely house-made fresh udon noodles, courtesy a big noodle machine in frequent use in the window. Best value is the $12 tempura variety lunch special — toothsome udon, delicious not too salty broth, crispy tempura.
This is a great little place with good sushi and food generally. Only thing I'd say is that it's very small and the ambiance with loud generic pop music playing could be a bit more interesting. Will definitely be coming back again in any case, great addition to the neighborhood

Delicious squash tempura! Sushi portions large, don't over order. Snug little place.
Perfect except they never include the egg on my yaki soba. If they changed the menu so it doesn’t include egg they should change it online too!
Was excited to try Tampopo Kitchen as they make their own noodles from scratch. Their broth is really good, and the ambiance and service are great, but...there's a reason most people rave about the sushi. I ordered veggie tempura kake udon (cold) and the presentation was good. I think the owners should teach the kitchen staff what real tempura should look and taste like. Not their fault, they don't know better. The batter coating was tough and over fried and not made with tempura flour. Also they were out of half the sake (drink) menu. Do better, owners! A nice addition to the neighborhood if they put in a little more effort. Maybe due to summer vacation. I might try again in the fall/winter but not really tempted to return at this point.
the sushi is definitely above average, but still deciding if they're far enough above to make up for the wait times. i showed up 3 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready and waited another 25. i just don't get why the website isn't realistic. i wouldn't have minded if i hadn't shown up before it was actually ready! they did offer to refund part of it, so if they actually do i'll edit this review and let you know. Edit : they did refund
Sweet potato sushi was delicious! The veggies and rice needed something -maybe tofu? Avocado cream dish was also great!
Sweet potato sushi was delicious! The veggies and rice needed something -maybe tofu? Avocado cream dish was also great!
The rice is extremely bland and lacks a form of proper care for sushi rice. For example: (rice) vinegar. On the other hand, the quality and taste of fish, as well as the udon is excellent.
This place used to be great but the quality of the food has declined lately. Just ordered a donburi bowl and the tuna wasn’t fresh & the rice tasted old. It’s unfortunate, because I really liked this place but probably won’t go back.
We really wanted to like this place. Super cute ambience and nice servers but the food was disappointing. We ordered the udon and it was waaaay undercooked. They cheerfully remade the noodles for us but it still came out with too Al dente (to put it kindly). Not sure if we will try this place again.
I ordered the salmon donburi and it was absolutely delicious. Very fresh fish and the tartare was the perfect amount of spicy (although a bit more ground up/mushy than I prefer). The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is due to the high price and small portion. The bowl was $28 and fit into the palm of my hand (picture holding it for reference). I’m a sushi fanatic, and have sashimi or chirashi bowls almost every week throughout the city. This was by far the smallest portion I’ve received in a sashimi bowl for the price, even when considering other places of similar quality. They also did not provide enough rice for all the toppings, and usually I have the opposite issue! This would be best for breakfast or a light lunch but is definitely not enough for dinner.
First time to this location, I’ve been at the sister location tampoco ramen. Small cozy place. Beautiful ambience and decor. Nice staff. It’s been open for a few months at this point, still don’t understand the disposable utensils, just very inconvenience. Came for the lunch special. Not bad. Good felt fresh. Miso soup very tasty. I will give it another try in a few months.

I’ve ordered pickup from here twice. The food is decent — good enough for a neighborhood sushi/Japanese spot — but a bit overpriced for what it is. Unfortunately, both times something was missing from my order. When I called, they did offer a credit, which I appreciated, but the interaction felt very indifferent and dismissive. There wasn’t much acknowledgment of the inconvenience. For the prices they charge, I would expect better attention to detail and warmer customer service. I hope they improve because the food itself is fine.
The good news: the sushi and quality of fish is truly the best in the neighborhood. The bad news: The bar for quality sushiya in the neighborhood couldn't be lower. I really do like Tampopo. I order from them regularly. Their crunchy spicy tuna roll slaps harder than most generic sushi joints in the city can make. But don't expect that your food will be ready for pick-up on time, like, ever. If it says 30 minutes, add at least double on to that, otherwise you'll be waiting around awkwardly with the host twiddling your thumbs. And don't expect for them to apologetic in the slightest once it's actually ready. If you order hot food along side sushi when you pick-up, it will undoubtedly be cold by the time you eat it because it seems like they made it at least a half hour before they made the sushi/nigiri. It's clear they have a workflow/speed problem. They'll regularly turn off their web orders when they're busy during dinner rush because they can't handle the load they come under. Delivery orders seem to get precedent over people who dine in or are picking up. One can only assume that the bulk of their business is from DoorDash. The quality of fish and their dishes has decreased a bit since they first opened, but their prices have fallen to match, so it's hard to complain too much. I can only assume it's to cater to those in the neighborhood that don't know the difference because the older demographic in this area tend care more about quantity rather than quality. Don't expect any kind of traditional Japanese experience with the sushi chefs if you sit at the counter and want to watch them work--that just doesn't exist here. Like most other restaurants in the neighborhood, you'll receive almost zero warmth in regards to how you're treated as a patron, which is the opposite of most downtown Japanese sushiya who pride themselves on service. At least they've gotten better about including soy sauce with their to-go orders. Before, it used to constantly be left out, which was pretty criminal. But they are capable of improvement! One can only hope they continue upward. I want to love this place more, but they've still got a ways to go.

Got take out. Noodle dishes. And sushi. Didn't like the food at all. Flavoring was unpleasant. Overpriced too. Tried it twice. Won't try it again.
I hate to write a negative review, because I was very excited to try tampopo kitchen. I ordered red snapper sashimi and veggie ten donburi. I picked up my order and when I got home there was shrimp on my donburi... so not veggie. I called to let them know, thinking they might offer me a credit or something, but I was just told they'd let the management know. I don't eat shrimp so that was disappointing. The red snapper sashimi turned out to be inedible. It was like eating a tough tendon. The rice was not bad but nothing special. The batter on the veg tempura was good and not too oily ... for that I give 2 stars. Maybe I'll try the udon everyone's raving about next time, otherwise, I won't return.
We went for dinner last night and decided to try the premium omakase sushi for the 4 of us. We were seated at a table. It took over 40mins for our “omakase” to arrive, nothing was explained to us we had to wait and ask someone to explain. The quality of the fish was great, that said there was nothing special and it was all served together on one plate like an order of nigiri. Omakase is meant to be an experience and our was nothing close to one!
Way overpriced. Sushi was comparable to any downtown/midtown sushi restaurant but my God…the prices. Wowza. $75 for 12 pieces of regular sushi?? (That’s BEFORE tax & tip mind you). Don’t expect to go here and pay less than $120 - $150 per person if you want to have a meal with drinks.
Love the sushi here, truly amazing. But I observed the kitchen, please stop using plastic sponges and plastic cutting boards!! They release microplastics into the food, especially when the plastic heats up. Studies show this is harmful to health, switch to wood or bamboo, it’s safer and better. I got one little on my udon soup and I even had to ask for a discount…
The food here is delicious and the quality of fish is on point. My only complaint though, which lowers my rating of this restaurant is their rice. Sushi literally translates to "it is sour", which is a referral to vinegar used in sushi rice. The rice at Tampopo Kitchen lacks vinegar incredibly, leading it to be bland. The taste is similar to plain, white rice. This is a big downfall for this restaurant, I believe, as rice is the main component of sushi.
Literally just came and got this for the first time. Worst experience ever. I asked for no mushrooms and an egg instead. Come home there are tons of mushrooms in it and the egg came on the side. The egg was not cooked at all. It was literally just a raw cracked egg and literally had a piece of shell in it. They didn’t even GIVE us my boyfriends food. It wasn’t busy at all and there were tons of people working. Most of the employees had their masks pulled down and were just all eating by the kitchen. Never again. Go to Tampopo Ramen instead of this place. Prices are WAY better, way more food and it actually taste good. Edit: would just like to add that i infact know what onsen tamago is, because I have had it several times and the white is supposed to be slightly cooked just soft, not completely clear and runny
Ordered shellfish don to go, no wasabi package anywhere to be found. No pickled ginger either. Just fuming, I left a tip on a to-go order!!!! No one picking up the phone to resolve this
Male server working the evening of 1/23 was very rude. A little bit of kindness goes a long way.
I really wanted to support this place, but honestly, it is not worth dealing with how bad their service is. Had trouble each time I ordered from them; this last time I ordered, it was a single dish, their system said it would be ready at a specific time (about 25 minutes from when I ordered) I went 5 minutes after the suggested time to pick it up, they said it was not ready and I should wait. Waited for a while, turns out they didn't even start preparing my one dish order. I ask to cancel and get a refund (only then do they start telling me that they are 'about to prepare' my order). The guy then says he voided the transaction, refuses to give me a confirmation, tells me to 'come back tomorrow' for a confirmation that they did actually void the transaction. So, fingers crossed that I am not charged for an item that they never prepared. Anyhow, again, not worth dealing with their b.s.. Will not be ordering from them again.
We were quite upset as we been here many times and we were denied service at 9:20 when the kitchen closes at 10pm. Not sure if we want to come back now. Server had curly hair with glasses Hispanic and the other lady was Hispanic doing take out. They told us only some server take people at that time for done in. As if it were a preference. I was just in disbelief when we were told that and I laughed as it was being said because we have even come to dine here as late as 945. Ate paid tipped well and left with getting great service. We really loved coming here. 😩
I ordered my food two hours ago. It still hasn’t been delivered. I have eaten there before and it’s usually pretty tasty but is it worth waiting for two hours?? Yikes. I will never order takeout from the again. UPDATE: It finally came. It’s cold (and I’m not talking about the sushi.) this was my first meal back from a cleanse…it was suppose to be my victory meal. And I am SO disappointed.
Food and service was terrible! Should have known that it would be bad when I didn’t see a single Asian person in sight. No Asian cooks. No Asian patrons. Just bad!
Nice little restaurant with friendly staff. The food was underwhelming. I wanted to love it, ramen after ramen. I ordered the Spicy tan tan ramen, Beef Niko Udon and the Pork Miso Udon and they all lacked flavor. The Beef Niko was sweet and was my least favorite. The Spicy tan tan ramen wasn’t spicy at all. I asked twice for any spicy sauce and none were spicy. It was definitely disappointing. It was definitely an upsetting $100 bill worth of food.

Had an issue with extremely delayed delivery last year and never ordered since. Broke down to try it again tonight and burned again. If you’re going to take my money (also very expensive) knowing you have an issue with delivery delays (see other posts and owners response acknowledging delays), that’s very dishonest and disrespectful of customer’s time and wallet. Never again.
