This place was great!! All of the food and drinks were excellent, the service was really great, and the atmosphere was perfect! I had the veggie dumplings which were excellent and the salad with lemongrass chicken which was flavorful and crunchy and a hot Thai tea with boba which hit the spot on a cold winter day!! I highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

Vietnamese-certified banh my! I'm a Vietnamese in Newark and sooo glad I found this place, the grilled pork tastes authentic (cant talk about other types though because it's less common in Vietnam) but give it a try! The price is reasonable and the store is sparkling clean

Great food, fair pricing, timely and friendly service, and a great, clean atmosphere that helps decompress from busy city life. Even the food had a clean presentation until I dug in. Not cramped at all, and has some 4 and 2 seater tables. Would recommend if you need a bite to eat

We arrive just 5 minutes before they closed. Yep, we apologize and told them we could go to chipotle, they are open til 10pm. The staff was super accommodating and friendly even though they were closing up. Food was super delicious. This place is worth a visit if you’re in the mode for some great pho and fantastic services.

AMAZING NEW HIDDEN JEM! Super clean on the inside staff were amazing and the Banh Mi was made with love. We got the lemon grass pork Banh mi with pâté and it was delish. They were doing a BOGO free drink with purchase promotion and we got a passion fruit iced tea for FREE so our total was $9+tip.

This place is awesome. They have great food here and the drinks are amazing. The service is above and beyond what you would expect. The recipes are family made recipes and they are delicious. If you do not come and taste at least once you will be missing out forever.

My partner and I tried Banh and Bo for the first time on the day of Baekhyun’s concert and came here again the next day 🤣! The first time it was super hot outside and it was very crowded inside (only bubble tea place in the area) so it makes sense it was warm inside as well. That being said, we received our order out within 30 minutes and our banh mi was delicious! The Jasmine flavor in their fruit teas (run sweeter than milk teas) was also very fragrant and their milk teas are not too sweet! Their pickled veggies are on the thinner side and perfectly sweet and sour. Because the veggies are cut thin, they’re able to fit in a lot of veggies in the Banhmi! Both the chicken and pork are well marinated and delicious. The rice in the bowl is fresh and came with a fish sauce, vinegar, sugar dressing. Very yummy! I understand the frustration folks may have experienced on the concert day, but you could see all of the staff were hustling to prepare orders. No one was dragging their feet and by the time we finished eating, they had finished making everyone’s orders. Thank you staff!

The experience was top tier. It’s a great place to go due to the environment and music, it’s just so calming and aesthetic. The workers are extremely nice and kind, and also have the best drink suggestions just in case you don’t know what you want. This place is definitely a 10/10!

A newly opened place that perfect to grab a drink and food before or after concert or anytime you came by here. Good vibes and well manage! All employees are full of service minded. $12 bahn mi signature $9 grilled pork $5.25 cold viet coffee (b4 addtl +.75 for boba) $2.50 bottled pepsi $4.95 crinkle cut fries it was overall a nice experience. food was good. my signature one was a tad salty with the minced pork, and i would have liked it to be more caramelized for texture. however, both of our sandwiches were good. I am not sure if the size/amount of ingredients in the $12 sandwich warrants a $3 difference compared to the other $9 sandwiches, but worth a try if you generally like the mixed cold cuts flavors. fries were good. my partner enjoyed them soft in the inside and crispy on outside. the drinks were great too. $5.25 alone for a large viet iced coffee is a deal (no sugar mod available). they dont have coca cola products. in general, the drink prices are comparable to ones in a standard boba shop but cheaper as their drinks come in large drink sizing! i would come again especially since there is a lack of viet spots in Newark. i would try their pho next time!

Ordered the chicken pho, and was pleasantly surprised by the depth of flavor that the broth offered. Very homey, very light, and pairing it with the bean sprouts provided a nice earthy undertone to balance the savory chicken broth, the jalapeños added a spicy kick and a contrast in texture as compared to the onion and rice noodles, and the lime added a hint of acidity which paired well with the more base and grounded flavored of the pho. However, while the pho itself was excellent as a whole, it suffered from the chicken. The chicken had the odd, off-putting aftertaste most old chicken has, that was NOT a result of the flavoring of the broth. The chicken itself, I assume, was slightly old or leftover from the previous day(s). However, this brings me to another point. The sauces provided at each table were excellent. The black sauce that reminded me of soy sauce, was a great way to counteract the off-putting flavor of the chicken(which I had left alone after finishing the broth), and was absorbed well into the leftover rice noodles. It made for a nice combination, although I wish the chicken itself was of better quality to facilitate an even better combo. All in all, I do wish I could rate the food more highly, but it was held back by the unfortunate state of the chicken I had received. The customer service was fantastic, very hospitable, and the atmosphere was casual and light. Overall, a great experience.

I tried a Chicken Teriyaki bowl for the first time this week. It was a nice portion for the price. The chicken tasted very good and wasn't smothered in tons of sauce as foods can sometimes be. I was very pleased and look forward to trying one of their sandwiches.

I ordered food and drinks from the kiosk. The bowls were pretty delicious! I got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and someone else that came with me got the chicken rice bowl. I would recommend the chicken teriyaki because it has more flavor but both were good. Only thing I didn’t particularly like was that the sweetness and ice for the drinks weren’t adjustable on the kiosk, so the drinks were pretty sweet. As for the ice, I put in the “notes” section when placing the order on the kiosk for “less ice” I’m not sure if they saw it or not but I didn’t get less ice. 80% of my cup was filled with ice so I kinda felt like it wasn’t worth like $7. Maybe next time I’ll try ordering in person, maybe that way it’ll possibly be adjustable. If it’s not adjustable, I’ll just stick to getting food from there and drinks elsewhere. There’s seating and the atmosphere is pretty cozy though. There’s also a restroom in the back. They were playing BTS songs the whole time! No tip is required at this establishment.

I ordered the grilled pork bahn mi and the passion fruit iced tea. The sandwich itself is quite fresh and flavorful, but a bit light when it comes to meat filling. The juice was a bit light on flavor, but refreshing. Restaurant was clean and welcoming for dine-in as an option.

I can speak for the pho soup only - Beef had a strong smell that I know but never tasted it before. Stock feels fake and too sweet. It’s a fast food franchise, nothing to be compared to the mom and pop restaurants we are used to. I am having a hard time getting rid of that beef taste in my mouth on the ride home. Never coming back here again.

The staff member was shouting at me because he said he couldn’t hear my order. I could hear him just fine, but he continued to raise his voice. It made me feel very uncomfortable and don’t plan on coming back.
