They hosted a wonderful kirtan and yoga class for me. Incredible Prasad! (Food prepared with love) and have a very good thing going on with Ayurveda and wellness center. I've known the owners and their family for years and they are a stellar group. so glad I got to spend time with them
Clean and healthy Krishna food. Great staff, very friendly. Family oriented. Lots of literature on beliefs. Deserts are delicious. One should go to experience the food and culture.
Everything but dessert is vegan! It was super delicious, and full of nutrition. The employees were really knowledgeable too. If i'm ever in the area again, i will definitely come back.
Love this restaurant! Great atmosphere, nice staff. And delicious food! As a vegan, it's a little harder to come across food that I KNOW is vegan, and this restaurant pumps out amazing, vegan friendly food! Highly recommended!
Very very Tasty good food for the body mind & soul. I would definitely eat here again when in the area.
Sometimes it can be difficult to find vegan food and even more difficult to find delicious vegan food. This place has both. I love the flavors. My taste buds are singing!!
A hidden gem! Very friendly staff, and great food! Particularly good dosas. The Mirchi poppers are quite substantial but very tasty as well.
Service was excellent! The minute we arrived they provided an explanation of every item on the buffet. Good variety and very tasty....we highly recommend!
Delicious and healthy made food at the buffet, worth the price. You can also get smoothie drinks and dessert for a separate cost, also worth the price. The people are very friendly, the atmosphere is so clean, well decorated and we got to experience Kirtan,so nice.
Amazing food. Healthy and delicious. Worth every cent and the drive. Lots of vegan options. Ahimsa vegan available as well :-)
Excellent service. Food is very tasty. Would recommend to anyone go even if you are not vegan
The food is absolutely excellent. It has all delicious flavors and leaves you happy after each meal
100 star restaurant Best food ever. The service is great and if you have never been here than your life is horrible. It will fullfill your life.
One of the only places of its kind in the area, they serve great Veggie and Vegan options, fresh smoothies and juices and tasty little treats.
My uncle took me to this place today. It's a great place. Very nice food. Must try place when in New Burgh.
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, mostly vegan options. 10/10 will definitely return
The people are friendly and the food is amazing. Would definitely recommend people to try the food here. I'm not vegetarian but while eating their food I don't miss meat at all. That's how good it is! Give it a try if in the area.
Family owned. Gluten free and vegan options. They support local and healthy foods. They want to help the community make better nutritious choices while not breaking the bank. They support eco-friendly farming. I sat and ate with one of the owners and I really love what his family is trying to do for the community, especially being in Newburgh.
Peaceful food made with so much love. A peaceful haven for vegetarians and vegans (and omnivores willing to forego the meat). The daily lunch buffet is consistently a smart selection of rice, vegetable dishes, beans/ lentils, and soup. Flavorful, but not spicy hot. Everything is homemade with love; positivity permeates the environment. (Aside from the restaurant, there is also a wellness center with a focus on all-natural Ayurvedic treatments).
Fantastic Indian food for vegans / vegetarians (I'm sure meat-eaters won't miss the meat with all the flavor they pack into their veggies). Samosas and vegetable biryani are amazing - in fact, everything I've tried here tastes wonderful. Definitely a favorite to visit after hiking in Black Forest.
As a vegan who’s not a fan of processed food or alternative meats, I was really happy to have had a home made meal for lunch. My bowl basmati, cabbage, roasted sweet potatoes and mixed vegetables was amazing. The man behind the counter was super kind and generous with the portions. Highly recommend. Second time was just as amazing! (Video)
Krishna Kitchen Soul food is served here, if you’ve never experienced it then this the place. Vegetarian Friendly Vegan Options Gluten Free Options Food 10/10 Taste 10/10 Service 10/10 Value 10/10
If you teast of India? Go there. They have really good food. I do recommend this store!!

I was at a friend's place and tasted Butter Chicken they had ordered from Bliss. It was out of this world. Super delicious. Highly recommend, and Neha Ji is very knowledgeable about the Indian food.
I've been a loyal customer of Bliss Kitchen in Newburgh, NY for years, and their vegetarian cuisine never disappoints. The food is consistently clean and not overly oily, allowing the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through. When I had them cater my engagement party over the summer, our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious spread. Bliss Kitchen truly lives up to its name.
The food was amazing. The ingredients were fresh and you can tell everything was prepared on-site. The staff was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a very warm and welcoming experience. The food is very special it's not many other Indian restaurants. Its more nourishing yet less disruptive to the belly. You feel satisfied and energized after eating eat here unlike some places where you leave feeling bloated and upset maybe even heartburn. Easy to say that I'm happy and I will come back many times. Also this is a vegan friendly restaurant when I went there it was a buffet and everything on the buffet was vegan. There was nothing I couldn't eat I absolutely love that
Food was so delicious and people working were so kind!
I came here because I am a vegetarian and there aren't many places in the area with a large selection of vegetarian options. (And rarely are there vegetarian protein options) Man oh man was this food so delicious. You can get an extremely tasty, flavorful, healthy, well-balanced meal for under $20 bucks. I left so pleased and satisfied. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely stop by again (and again).
Some of the most delicious Indian food I have ever had! You can taste the love in every single bite. Also the atmosphere of this spot is incredible, the owner has done a brilliant job in creating a meditative space right once you walk in the door. I will be visiting again when I'm in the area! Thank you, Bliss Kitchen Ananda🙏🏽🌏💙 -Nick Ross
A vegan / vegetarian Oasis in the Hudson valley!! Food was fresh and flavorful during our dinner service. Despite being a bit short staffed they handled our order for a party of 9 very well. Not the most authentic for some dishes but there are plenty of options. Hoping to visit it more on our hiking trips
Most of the food isn't distinguishable by the average american, but that is a merit in my book. While the aroma of the many dishes may lure you to the restaurant the relaxed and laid back atmosphere may keep you there. The host is always there and ready to help and suggest a meal and describe the dishes to where you can almost taste it... By the way you SHOULD taste it.

Food was great. All vegetarian, rich, flavorful. Only critique was that the menu was slightly confusing and there was no coffee.
Best India food in the orange country. Very humble but flavorful! A must go to especially at lunch for buffet.
I love their spices and hospitality. I would give Bliss Kitchen 5 stars if they didn't have to use so much oil! Other than that, it is a lovely place to dine along with their other wonderful facilities.
First time here. We really like Indian food and were passing by at lunch time so we decided to try it out. Place is dated but the food we ordered was very tasty and freshly prepared. No meat on the menu so a solid option for those following a vegetarian lifestyle.
The Thali dish to go has been delicious and varied. It isn't like other commercial Indian restaurants where there is 'spicy heat' and oily dishes. You get the Indian spices subtly but it won't burn your mouth. Good blend of herbs, veggies and spices. Very clean food.
The food is excellent! !! It is still in the soft opening mode so we were little confused about seating. Food was worth the slight confusion. It is buffet so tried ALL except the soup and were not disappointed. Also their trade free lattes and power muffins/bars are delish! Will definitely go back.

Very nice staff. $15 for the lunch buffet. Alot I think especially as there isn't any meat. But the food is good. Yes what's up with plastic forks and paper plates. I see the smoothies are $8. Expensive right?
Great authentic Indian food made with fresh ingredients daily. I have eaten here many times for the lunch buffet and really enjoy it. Its fantastic food for a great price. I prefer the buffet since service can sometimes be slow for dinner.

this place needs some major tlc . we came to try it out and let dissapointed. the buffet food seemed dry and unappetizing. the plates were all plastic with no real elegant representation and the decoration seemed lazily put together. the food wasn't bad but again presentation was lacking. this restaurant has potential. not what I was hoping for though.
Very fake people, they claimed to sell bismoti rice, it is not. I would never go back, the individual that I chatted with was extremely rude. There all fake, the business is just a front. They also claim.to be awaken, however, " Ingnorace is BLISS" 🍸🍽️
Really disappointed... probably one of the only restaurants I've been to where there is no actual silverware or dinner ware provided. Instead we were given plastic plates, plastic spoons and plastic forks. Our entre/main course was brought out in a plastic take away container. BTW no glasses or water for the table. You have to walk across the restaurant and grab a tiny flimsy 6oz plastic cup and fill your own water from the water cooler. I understand self serve is an option in some resteraunts but I had to get up six times to fill my own water. BTW don't be fooled by the pictures. The food isn't the same quality as the pics posted. Been to enough Indian restaurants to know that the food here is less than mediocre. Came here because we saw this place on happy cow, but it is most definitely not worth coming to. And the photos posted on happy cow don't reflect the actual menu of this establishment.
Horrible experience, placed my order through grubhub 20 min later I get a call from the restaurant saying they canceled my order because they had no drivers. They said that if I called again and waited two more hours they would be able to deliver to me. I was really looking for vegan options in the area so I waited the two hours and placed another order. I finally got my food and it was horrible I could not eat eat it! It was super dry and just not good. I also got no napkins or plastic spoons or forks. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this place.
I rarely order out and when I do, I expect it to be almost perfect. I had a pickup order of masala dosa. I was very disappointed with the quality and the quantity of the food. They forgot to pack my side chutneys that comes with masala dosa. What's masala dosa without the chutneys? Not only was my food incomplete but it tasted very old. I think they serve old foods so if you have sensitive stomach, keep that in mind. And the price is high too.
We were served in plastic cups/trays forks etc. Even our food came in plastic containers even though we were sitting to eat. You have to get up and serve yourself water. Out of all the Indian restaurants I have been to this was lacking in flavor. I believe this place was bought out and kept the same name because the pictures are not the same! Your food will come in plastic containers! You have been warned. Oh not to mention the dead insects by the windows.
We just came here because it was advertised vegetarian friendly. I eat Indian food all the time, I was shocked. Served in plastic tray, burnt dosa with one pretty bad chutney. It makes Indian food look bad for people haven't tried it. If the food was ok I wouldn't mind the atmosphere. There's nothing to call atmosphere, a family took over a restaurant and didn't do anything to improve it. Can't call it homemade, that wouldn't be fair to all the delicious Indian food I've had.
Really terrible. I don't know if the other reviewers are friends of the owners or something, because this place doesn't have nearly as good a rating on Yelp. The lunch buffet food was dry and flavorless - easily the worst Indian lunch buffet I've ever had. Just because the food is vegan is not excuse for it to be bad. And it's overpriced - if a restaurant in Boston, NYC or Chicago that is paying city rents and is paying the higher costs of meat and dairy is $2 cheaper, this is too expensive.
My part African American daugter went to eat there and instead of being nicely greeted upon entering she was asked what was she doing there. She had to wait 15 minutes before she finally left because they never even asked her what she wanted to eat let alone what she wanted to drink. Yet they were very friendly and tentative to Caucasian customers. She came home crying. I would never recommend this place due to the prejudice and racism that she experienced.
I was born in India and have a fairly good pulse on Indian food. Unfortunately I was disappointed with this place due to a few reasons: -the menu online does not match the menu in restaurant. Basic items like bread listed online are not in restaurant -the prices online and in restaurant are different -mango lassi was over priced at 8.60 and was NOT Lagos lassi but some orange fusion. The restaurant needs to updates it’s online menu and sell what they say they are selling. If your adding orange juice to your mango lassi it needs to be stayed ahead of purchase!
