Absolutely delighted by how good the food was. Got an omelette and everything was delicious… the hash browns, the biscuit, the fresh salsa; and the avocado I had added was perfect and generous. Cute diner setting attached to a bowling alley. Home-town like customer service. They don’t cut corners. I’ll be back.

If you like home cooking at a great price lily’s is the perfect place to go. All the workers do a great job and the food is always delicious. I’m here 5 times a week for either breakfast lunch or dinner and if you like a great turnkey or corned beef sandwich this is the perfect place

I am so happy that I found this place on the map. This was definitely a homestyle diner. Everyone here was super nice and happy! Food was amazing, came out fresh hott and was delicious.

Cute lil diner type vibe, nothin fancy. It’s a nice family business that makes you feel like you’ve been there many times, even on your first visit. The staff is sweet and they refilled our water and coffee without us having to ask. Prices were reasonable and the fruit and veggies were fresh. The food came quick too so if you want a quick bite, or to sit and chat for a bit, come to lily’s cafe.

It's not modern and spacious but it was what we hoped for... an affordable good quality, great breakfast and came with a delicious surprise special fruit treat while we waited. Excellent service with entertainment, yes singing Lily. Super friendly and inviting vibe, the owner & staff seem to be enjoying their work so their vibe really rubs off, we noticed 3 hugs from happy returning customers just in the 30 mins we were there, a sense of connectedness and sincere goodness. Somehow I'm sure there is reason for a deep connection to the USA Veterans crowd which is great too. If I'm ever back in this area I will most definitely return as we stopped going out to eat as much do to the overpriced, bad service restaurants plaguing our nation ever since covid. We were impressed which does not happen very often, this was a refreshing delight :)

Exactly what you picture when you think of a small diner. Staff is incredibly friendly and food is good. Bit hard to describe in words exactly but they have fish on the menu and you feel safe ordering it

Well, I hadn't been here in 5 or more years, so I really don't remember how it was before, but let me tell ya, this breakfast was BOMB 💣... I tried my first egg white omelet, and it was fantastic. Hashbrowns were perfect with a nice crunch on top. Didn't catch the guys name who was my server, but he was great.... Now Lilly is the BEST part....this is the sweetest lady you'll ever come across (sings too )..... Will definitely be coming back much much sooner next time......

My family and I have been coming to this place for a few years. We've moved away, but still stop by whenever we're in town. The food is good and the ambience is great. I love the small "hole in the wall", local diner feeling. The staff is always friendly and its always a treat to come here. Most of the time, I order the Loco Moco. I've tried their burger and philly cheese steak before as well. My wife usually gets their country fried steak or hash browns. We always leave happy. If youre ever in town, give Lily's a try!

Adorable Cafe!! We dined there for the first time last night. It's still covid time & no indoor dining. We ate outside & it was a great experience! The tents were very shady from the hot sun, some water misters & lovely potted plants all around! So cute & the food was great & reasonably priced. All around great experience for the family!

Best cafe' ever! Been going here my whole life(32 yrs) and the waiters are excellent at there job, and when the owners are there they're really sweet and welcoming.. Then on the +side, if u want to you can order ur food while ur bowling, or bowl after/before u eat.

Great little hole in the wall diner. This place has great vibes. Great food, friendly service and it has a bowling alley right next to it. I had the chicken fried steak, i must say its one of the best I've had 2nd times here cause its a 30 plus minutes drive for me. Will definitely be back.

The breakfast also comes with a bowl of fruit. It was very tasty and the portion was plentiful. Highly recommended.

When I'm staying in the Newhall/Valencia area, this has fast become a go-to breakfast and lunch place for me to eat with friends. This is a classic family diner/cafe, with classic hospitality and wonderful down-home food that you would expect in this kind of place. The staff is very welcoming, and I have more than once lost track of time here since my friends and I were having such a good time eating and conversing. One very nice touch is that each time that I've come here, at some point the waiter brings out a fruit bowl for us to share, and whether it is lunch or dinner or breakfast, that little bit of fruit is such a welcome and refreshing thing. I have no doubt that I will be back here to share another meal with friends. By the way, I only just noticed this last visit that the backdoor of the cafe leads to a bowling alley! Perfect combo if you like bowling.

6/12/19 Back at Lily's again while my car gets some lovin' next door at Lyons Auto Spa. See Abel there and leave with the CLEANEST car or truck you've ever seen! Now back to Lily's. About to enjoy yet another feast here!! Full menu posted. They just dropped this off some sliced fruit, consisting of Apple, Bananas and Oranges. Oh soo fresh! I did the Pork Chops with 2 eggs over medium and white rice along with 2 biscuits topped with gravy! Great doesn't even come close to explaining how Amazing they were! Cooked to Perfection!! The #2 (2) egg combo wasn't too shabby either. Coffee gets topped of Regularly at Lily's and the service is Top Notch! --------------------------------- Breakfast at Lily's is Awesome!! Very personable staff members. Great Service and Food was Excellent!! Where can you go in the S.C.V. and order a Hawaiian Staple (Loco Moco). Anyway, I Will be back!!

Lily was so friendly and service was amazing. Our food was fresh, and came out in a reasonable amount of time. As we were waiting for our food, we listened to Lily softly singing opera as she went to serve each table. It was a very family friendly “ma and pop” typa vibe. Lily also brought us a tomato from her garden :) Decorations were thoughtful and quaint, and the dishes looked like the set that my grandmother owns. Outside, there are plants, art, and two shade-covered tables. Overall, great experience. Will be coming back.

Stopped off for lunch on the way to the Grand Canyon. Food and service was terrific. Desserts are huge. The cinnamon roll is as big around as a 12” pizza.

Not here - they were perfection! Bacon was crisp and tasty. Home fried potatoes came O'Brien style without an upcharge. Just enough crunch to make them scrumptious! For people who like the basic breakfast, this is the place! The ambiance is a step above most bowling alley diners, and pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Lily's!!

I love finding local spots that provide great food and a wonderful atmosphere. My wife and I were greeted as we walked in and seated right away. I ordered the pork chops and eggs with a side of pancakes. My wife ordered the char broiled chicken and eggs. The pork chops barely fit the plate and were so delicious, seasoned and cooked perfectly. My wife loved her chicken and eggs. The side of pancakes were fluffy and shared by both us. I gotta tell you we enjoyed our breakfast. There are no alcoholic drinks but we weren't interested in drinking. We wanted good food and a nice spot to eat at. Thank you for greeting us Lily, we will be back! 🙏

As for the atmosphere it seems like most of their customers are regulars as they were all saying by to Lily herself. It was just overall a friendly environment. I hoped to visit again. Some of the best breakfast food I’ve had in a long time.

I stopped by Lilly's Cafe after a meeting for some lunch. The outside area is a bit grown over and cluttered, but the inside was charming and appeared clean and kept. The service was good, got refills on drinks and food was brought out expidisoulsy. I got the hot meatloaf sandwich and it was alright, the meatloaf itself was tasty but I wasn't a fan of the gravy...I'm picky when it comes to gravy. Had to get the fries because they were out of mashed potatoes, but the crinkle fries were decent. It's also attached to a bowling alley, which is cool.

Stopped in first timer! The food was plentiful and great taste. The service and quality was better than most establishments. Well worth a visit… good prices too!

Quick service, friendly staff, and tasty food. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the smoked salmon in their smoked salmon salad was: very tender and not overly fishy-tasting like cheap smoked salmon can be. My only complaint is that the salad itself was pretty uninteresting and didn't especially go with the salmon. Their side of fruit is worth a mention as well, since it was clearly freshly cut and generous, neither of which is guaranteed for a fruit bowl. I'm told by my 8-year-old niece that the grilled cheese was great, though I didn't have any. Worth noting if you are bringing kids.

I so wanted it to be better than it was for dinner tonight based on these reviews. First off our waiter was so friendly. He deserves 5 stars! The little veggie platter was a nice extra. The food was diner food, and just ok tasting. Pretty pricey for diner food but they do give decent sizes.

They were out of rolls (sub sandwich type) for sandwiches.. If you wanted those kind of sandwiches you had to order on either a hamburger bun, sourdough bread, white or wheat bread. One waiter for the restaurant and he was also during the job of busboy, and helping in kitchen it seemed. Basically wasn't around to refill drinks or to order more items. Can't blame him as we had a really big group and the restaurant wasn't ready for it. But the restaurant should not be out of main items for the meals they offer.

Always looking for a good local breakfast place, and the reviews led us to Lily's. Maybe they were having a bad day because we experienced bad food and bad service. The portion sizes were fine, but the prices were high. Atmosphere was meh. We cannot recommend.

Getting a server took a while. The food took a while. The other patrons were all grumpy. Literally multiple tables talking loud and complaining about stuff. Not a great atmosphere. The food was meh. Wasn’t expecting much there anyway.

The outside is cute, but the pictures on here are deceiving. The food tastes how you'd expect ...vintage. The service was okay, but the overall atmosphere of the place felt odd. Don't bother coming here, you'll just leave disappointed.
