The dishes I had were delicious. Not massive but plants big enough and I prefer quality of quantity. Both of the dishes I had (the one pictured, and lomo saldado) were amazing. Not too salty, fresh, the steak was tender. I’m already planning my next visit. And the staff were very friendly

Great selection on the menu. Staff is friendly and looks like there were many regulars there. Music was Latin of course, but not overpoweringly loud. I'm going back.

This location is a fan favorite. I've only been here with groups and it has yet to disappoint. This location has been here for 17+ years and that's a bit rare in the valley. Service today was incredibly fast and attentive. Absolutely no one left disappointed. Everything was fresh. Flavorful and riding the tip of perfection. They do make other Peruvian locations feel like last place. This third visit sealed the deal on these loyal customers. Our recommendations are as follows, you actually can't go wrong with any dish but just in case, Arroz Chaufa, Pollo Saltado, Lomo Saltado, and Ceviche. Enjoy.

I've tried many Peruvian spots in LA, and this one stands out with its freshness and taste. The quality in the food, such as the meats and vegetables, is super good and tasty. The potatoes are never saugy, and the ceviche is never smelly or fishy. It's not the cheapest spot to grab a Lomo Saltado, but to be honest, it's worth every penny. Pair your meal with an Inca Cola or a fresh juice like yheir Piña or Chica Morada if you've never tried them.

Love eating here. Their chaufa con pollo is my absolute favorite. Simple dish- but I’ve literally been coming here since high school days- and ordering the same dish. With the hot sauce both green and orange!! My husband orders Lomo Saltado and papa la huancaina. And first time my son had it, he shared a Tallarin. Great service! Easy parking.

The best Peruvian restaurant I’ve tried in the valley. My favorites are anticuchos, arroz con mariscos, and lomo saltado. I like the ceviche, too.

Delicious food! Plates were around $15-20 for a main entre but I felt they were worth it. The service was also great, they kept checking in if we needed anything. It wasn’t a long wait to get our food at all. The vibe was quiet and clean. They had TVs on both sides but they weren’t loud at all. It was a great experience..took my mom here for lunch and she loved it!

Just south of Roscoe and Louise Street, almost hidden by the other small businesses which operate around it, I stumbled upon this tiny peaceful restaurant, where they bring two worlds together. And this is expertly done by bridging the gap between peru's ancient culinary pratices and combining them with todays fine dining. So that the experience you get is one of Exquisite Delight. For lunch today I had Papa Rellena, deep fried mashed potatoes, stuffed with meat, eggs, and just the right seasoning. On the side there was fresh Bread and butter and onion salad. And all this at a very modest price. This was an unexpected surprise.

If you are looking for real food from Peru, then this is the place. I'm peruvian and I been looking for real style peruvian food for years because it reminds me of my childhood. This is it! The price are in 10-20 range but let me tell you it's worth it. The best for me it's the "Tallarines verdes and los choritos a la chalaca". The place is friendly and go above and beyond!

This place is 10/10!!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 AUTHENTICALLY & ABSOLUTELY, DELICIOUS!! The food is fresh, every time. Service is friendly, professional, welcoming, and very clean. Only negative/downside in my opinion, is the incredibly loud music. I appreciate music and enjoy it in a restaurant setting; but not when it's blaring, that I can barely have a conversation over lunch/dinner with friends/family. I still gave this spot 5 stars, because it deserves it. Hopefully management can reconsider lowering the volume a tad bit, for the comfort and enjoyment of it's patrons. ✌🏼🇵🇪

This cozy little spot serves some of the best Peruvian food I’ve had in LA. The lomo saltado is flavorful, and the portions are generous. The staff is warm and welcoming, making you feel like family. Parking can be tight, but it’s worth the hassle. Their homemade green sauce is addictive and goes with everything

I had an outstanding experience today at Peru Taste, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Franco Miranda. From the moment I walked in, Franco was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He recommended the ceviche carretiero and the anticuchos de corazón, and both dishes were absolutely incredible. You can immediately tell the touch of both a Peruvian chef and a Japanese chef in the precision and detail of the food. The way the fish was cut, the balance of flavors in the ceviche, and the perfectly prepared octopus and shrimp all stood out. The anticuchos were equally impressive quality ingredients, expertly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I also tried the chicha morada, which they make from scratch, and it was delicious refreshing and authentic. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Amazing flavors, high-quality ingredients, and top-notch service from Franco. I highly recommend Peru Taste and will definitely be returning.

Hmm, this place is pretty good, but I think if I'm to be fair, the food is a bit more on a 3.5 for one main reason. The Lomo Saltado de la Casa with its Filet Mignon is a bit polite in taste. It could use a bit more flavor, even though it tastes largely like Lomo saltado. I do like the noodle pasta from my brother's order, the Tallarín Verde con Bistec. Other than that, it's a nice spacious restaurant, clean and inviting, and the staff is nice and friendly. I'll give it another shot with another menu item.

Such small portions. That thin slice of fish is $25(poured the small cup of mixed seafood on top just so it doesn't look so sad) and those 10 pieces of calamari was $12. The churros were so hard. The ceviche was really good. Most likely will not come back.

Ordered the following Ceviche well presented but portion was small. Leche de tigre full of flavour but small cup and not great to serve in. Churros a la chalaca they were good. Arroz de mariscos big portion flavour was ok nothing extra. Staff were very polite and attentive. Resturant was clean. Mains came out whilst having starters.

I gave it 3 stars only because the food is good. Service is beyond terrible. Don’t think I’ve ever had such service. Only 1 waiter when we walked in on a Friday evening, then 2 waiters but still about 15 minutes to get our drinks and water and over 30 minutes for the only 2 plates we ordered to come out of the kitchen. Then there was 3 waiters. Still no personality, no hospitality. No I’m sorry for the wait. Nothing. Had to ask for utensils, for more water, they never bothered to ask if we needed anything else. Other customers were having to go up to the waiters to ask for salsa or salt. Older lady sitting at the table next to us was very upset. We ended up having to get up to ask for the bill as well. 🙄🤯😠

Been coming to this place for over five years the food was, was back then amazing delicious and not that expensive. They used to serve bread. Prices are super high and food portions are very small if raising the price, why serve less portions than before they don’t even serve bread like before prices are ridiculously high for the portion of food you get I WILL never be coming back to this place. Calamari was delicious before was nice presentable. It looked good and taste really good now it looks SAD LOL! taste like frozen like the bags I buy at Walmart… The Papa a la huancaina it’s a bit dry of sauce they even removed the lettuce they used to have on it and it’s either the portion of a half of a big potato or a portion of a whole small potato. Very sad. If you order a plate and they tell you they run out of an item that goes on that plate. They don’t replace it with any other item. It’s just they don’t have that item to add on the plate and that’s that… portions are already small enough to be missing a piece of meat or a piece of fish or a piece of whatever it is of the items they run out of.
