I love having breakfast here in the summer... and many others must agree, because it's always crowded. The tables under the trees and the cool garden are worth stopping in for a coffee. The selection of pastries and brioches is varied, but you have to get there early in the morning because there aren't many available. Be careful when choosing: the quality of the products isn't great for all the pastries, but the coffee or cappuccino never disappoints.

A wide assortment of pastries (considering the kiosk's location in a public park), a must-try French croissant, both plain and filled, perfectly creamy coffee cream, sweetened iced coffee as per my request (in many bars this is not so obvious and easy to get even after explicit request), clean tables despite the overhanging vegetation (mainly tall trees), an excellent choice to create a small area with some tables for children that allow adults to sit at adjacent tables to keep them under visual control, friendly and organized staff, the only flaw (but not their fault) is the lack of bathrooms (in fact during some events the park management makes those in the adjacent gym available to the public, given the large number of people present at peak times it would be appropriate for them to always be open at least during daytime hours.

On the hill, in the middle of Ghezzi Park, is the "Chiosco." Where tall trees offer shelter from the summer heat, there are tables for breakfast and lunch breaks. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. A must-visit.

Fantastic. We enjoyed the outdoors under a finally generous sun, with super friendly service, tasty dishes (orecchiette with turnip tops), very good wine (Primitivo), and finally, since we didn't want to drink coffee, she gave us complimentary pocket coffees. Super kind. And also an excellent photographer!!

February 2021: Three stars, a good rating by my standards for commercial establishments. Affordable prices and an enviable location on the hill overlooking Ghezzi Park, which for some of us still calls the old park on Via Manzoni. An outdoor café in mid-February with children playing and an overcast sky, even during the coronavirus pandemic, is worth it. The only drawback: the view of the sports hall makes you wonder how so much money could ruin a remarkable work of art and urban planning from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

A bland frozen focaccia cost €14.00 (!!) and tasted mediocre for a kiosk with outdoor tables and plastic chairs, a truly exorbitant price. I strongly advise against having lunch or dinner here. It's best to stick to coffee and a bottle of water. The prices are reasonable for a downtown air-conditioned establishment, certainly not an outdoor one where you'll feel like a mosquito bite!

I went with my husband for an aperitif. There were some people sitting at the table without consuming anything. After waiting a quarter of an hour without anyone noticing us, we were finally able to sit down. I was expecting an aperitif with something to enjoy, but instead it was just beer and a bag of crisps 😨, nothing special, a shame.

Despite the pleasant setting and excellent location, the service is slow and inattentive. The food is poor quality. I found hair in my sandwich and pieces of paper on my pizza. The owners even denied it and were unprofessional.
