Love the food and drinks. Lots of great deals on the drinks. Great food for Vegans and vegitarians
Amazing vegan and vegetarian restaurant. I am not even vegetarian and I enjoyed this place a lot!! The beautiful thing is that it doesn’t try to hide it and try to mimic meat dishes. Instead, the place owns it and has incredible food without meat. We had the portobello burger and a poke bowl and it was delicious. Also the cocktails are incredibly cheap and good. Me and my girlfriend had to mojitos for only 100 pesos!
I wish I took pictures but we were all baked and starving!! 3 of us devoured a burrito, egg sandwich and tacos for dinner and finished up with passion fruit cheesecake and a brownie. Idk what people are complaining about. The woman who took care of us was very friendly and helpful, and my friend had been drinking and was kind of annoying to deal with 😅 I feel like if there were a chance of us seeing the bad service people mention my friend gave her opportunities!! I think some people are just too pushy and demanding of people in the service industry. You're in Mexico, it's beautiful. Relax and enjoy some delicious food here.
Clean and spacious restaurant and bar located halfway between main road and the beach on Rinconcito street. Tables and front window bar. Food is healthy, fresh and tasty. Drinks are very well prepared. Micheladas are superb and not expensive, so it's a must, available half and liter and from different beer brands. WiFi works properly and quickly
I've been reading the reviews and wondering what would be applicable for me. I was mostly interested in the Mora Smoothie because it was finally a berries smoothie with yogurt as ingredient and not banana. The mora smoothie was delicious, so I am glad I took the risk. I also ordered the vegan tacos for $95. If you want to experience what is a "Al pastor" but the veggie way, this is really a great value. They are really tasty and bigger than average. Come with taco toppings (and pineapple topping) and sauce. Also, they are 4 pieces but equivalent of 5-6 standard tacos (got Al Pastor tacos street food day before so can tell). Go for this unpretentious place ;)
Great place to have breakfast or non alcoholic beverages of all sorts which I enjoyed, particularly Sebastian has been an excellent staff member to talk to about Mexican culture and Mexico city gaining an inside view of a local who has experienced the contrast of city life and beach towns
All around a good and affordable vegetarian restaurant. They had quite a variety of vegetarian and vegan options such as salads, pokes, tacos, Vietnamese rice rolls, and spinach sauce pasta. The juices and fruit milk shakes were good too. Service was pretty efficient. The only downside is it's cash only and there's no restrictions.
Drinks were not so good, the food/bowls were not too bad, would have those again, but waiting time was fairly long. Before we went in I asked if they had a toilet to which they said yes. When I then wanted to go, I had to go next door and pay 10 pesos. Not the end of the world, but I didnt appreciate not being clear about that as they factually didnt have a toilet.
We had a terrible experience here. My veggie burger arrived cold. And I don’t mean they didn’t cook it enough. When I touched it, it felt like it was right out of the refrigerator. My husband got a Poké bowl that was simply an overpriced bowl of chopped vegetables. This place is a tourist trap, and the owner of the hotel where we are staying, said no locals go to that place and she won’t go anymore either. We waited so long for our food that we just went ahead and ate it, but then left feeling hungry and disappointed.
Got food poisoning after eating here; ordered the egg burrito and I imagine there was cross contamination with the veggies in it. They were probably not cleaned properly, I remember the lettuce being very soggy and old looking. Service was great and the wifi is good too. Maybe I’ll give them another chance another day
I have never waited that long for a burger and a poke bowl. They said it would be 45 minutes but it was an hour and a half. Place wasn’t even that busy. Sometimes things can take longer but the staff should at least be apologetic and attentive. They were not. I would avoid this place as there are other more friendly and
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place charge for taking the food to go. I’m not sure if it’s just me but that felt downright disrespectful after just buying a meal. Also, be wary of culturally appropriated foods that are on the menu like shakshuska which are Arab dishes (Shakshuka is made around the Arab would and most people believe it came from Tunisia), not Israeli. I am not sure why people don’t seem to mind cultural appropriation when it is done to Arabs but in my opinion is it wrong no matter who it is done to.
Please do not go there if you want a matcha! I am not sure what kind of powder it was used, but that was definitely not a matcha latte.
Shakshuka is a lot of things, what is not is Israeli. It’s a shame to still find in 2025 the traces of colonialism and cultural appropriation.
