Brilliant coffee in a lovely part of town
These folks are super nice and work their tails off to provide a solid product at a good price point. If you’re looking for a Starbucks, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a nice little shop with a decent number of offerings where you can then sit and enjoy it in the peaceful plaza, this is it.
Lovely staff and the ice tea was just what we needed after wondering in the sun. Sitting in the square, sipping your drink, it feels like a real find
Best coffee we found in Oaxaca! Espresso bar with some sweets and also sells whole bean and ground coffee. Super good vibes, great tasting coffee, nice people working there. Significantly better than any other coffee we had.
What a fantastic place. Went back every morning I was in Oaxaca, incredibly good coffee and very knowledgeable staff. I also bought two types of Oaxacan beans to take with me - they ground the Yucuhiti for me on the spot for my French press, and it’s perfect for black coffee drinkers. So happy to have found this place.
Coffee was great, we came back twice on our trip. Had the americano and the cappuccino, sat outside and watched the world go by. Even bought some coffee beans to take home. Muy bien!
I got coffee beans from here and they are great! The staff helped me pick out the best type for my flavor and method preference. Delicious. One note, packaging is fairly basic. So if you are not using them right away like I was, being a ziplock bag to keep them fresh. I bought a lot of coffee beans during my 2 weeks in Mexico and these were some of the best, certainly the best value I bought.
Great coffee beans. Bought the Coffee beans from Putla few days ago brewed it at my place and taste was awesome with less acidity. The server was friendly and even took time to explain the type of different coffee for brewing. I also tried the cold brew and it was just as refreshing-no sugar or milk necessary.
Great place for a cup a coffee and sit outside and enjoy the day.
This was A nice cute cafe with decent coffee. Not 'the best' coffee around, but there's a lot of competition for that in my opinion in Oaxaca city. The biscuit I had was also good, if a little dry. Very small seating area, so generally great for a short coffee, with a nice chilled surrounding.
Just stopped in for a desert. The brownie was pretty awful (I tossed it after one bite), but the oatmeal cookie was good -- nice flavor and chewy. I'd go back for another one. The other meager offerings were unappealing, but the barista was friendly and helpful.
I was here last year and cookies and dessert were better. They're selling the desserts so expensive. I had a piece of chocolate cake so thin and dry, it was 65 pesos! 30 pesos for a cookie? It's just oatmeal. Rugelach were dry and flavorless. Lame desserts
