This is franchise, but the that doesn’t hold it back. The food is good, the streak and eggs has a very generous portion. The chilaquiles were a little soggy, I prefer them to be a little crunchy. They do have American style coffee, what I did wish they had cafe de olla.

I like Toks before but since my last visit to Mexico ( August/2024) I noticed that it has changed for the better. Toks in Paseo de la Reforma, across Hotel Fiesta Americana, at a round-about location, has everything that you may like for a truly Mexican food at affordable price. The restaurant is big with a serious but tasteful decor. The service is good, prices are totally affordable and food is delicious! I visited this restaurant 5 times in a two weeks visit to Mexico, meaning I really liked it :)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tok's in Mexico City with my family, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed into the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere. Our initial interaction with the waiter, unfortunately, started off on a slightly disappointing note. We wanted to exchange an item from our order but were initially refused by our first waiter. However, to our pleasant surprise, the main waiter, who noticed our predicament, promptly intervened and not only facilitated the exchange but also went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Once the main waiter took over, the service became exemplary. He was attentive, considerate, and genuinely invested in making our dining experience enjoyable. From offering insightful recommendations to promptly addressing any requests or inquiries we had, he displayed a level of professionalism and hospitality that truly impressed us. As for the food, Tok's exceeded our expectations. The menu presented a diverse array of mouthwatering options, showcasing both Mexican and international flavors. From the soups, the sizzling steaks to the fulfilling breakfast, each item we ordered was meticulously prepared and packed with delicious flavors. The presentation was visually appealing, adding to the overall dining experience. The ambiance at Tok's was vibrant and lively, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our family gathering. The modern decor and comfortable seating arrangements contributed to the enjoyable atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for a memorable meal. Despite being a bustling restaurant, the noise level was manageable, allowing for conversations without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, our experience at Tok's was memorable and enjoyable. Our waiter, went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction. Amazing place to have breakfast and dinner. The price per person is in Pesos. The staff is kind and hard working. The coffee and food was so good! The portions are great too. So if you feel like eating light, split a plate.
