Fantastic and super friendly women who work there :) went to try the piedrazo which was delicious (from the street food netflix programme) but also ended up trying the Horchata con Tuna - a rice drink made with prickly pear cactus and walnuts ontop. It was amazing 🤩

Cute little "street food" restaurant with awesome Piedraso. If you love vinegar and haven't tried Piedrazo, you have to check this place out. Perfect combination of vinegar-soaked bread, carrots, potatoes, quesillo and salsa - really packs a punch with flavor! Tasty aguas frescas as well!

Just visited in July 2021 and this place is open and delicious! Saw it on the Netflix show and it did not disappoint! The staff was kind and helpful (even though I wasn’t sure how to order), and the meal was fantastic!

Refreshing aguas frescas. We tried guanabana and horchata with tuna (cactus fruit not the fish!). 40 pesos for two ($1 each).

Tradicional, refrescante y super rico! Sin duda un lugar que todos los viajeros deben visitar. Los piedrazos y un agua de horchata con tuna son mi recomendación, hay que llevar paciencia ya que la fila a veces es larga pero vale la pena☆

El agua es deliciosa, es una excelente alternativa para visitar fuera de los mercados locales. Es limpio y seguro, las chicas son amables 🍑🍉

Great menu of agua frescas as well as piedrazos (different spice levels). I saw this place featured on Netflix and had to try it. I’m glad I did, but I probably would not have the piedrazos again. But I did enjoy my drink very much and would highly recommend it.

The place is very clean. They sell fresh waters. The horchata with tuna is very typical of the city, and tejate, a drink made from corn and cacao, is also delicious. Piedrazos (rocking stones) are a local snack, consisting of bread soaked in vinegar, served with chili and quesillo.

I really like the prepared chicharrones and also the horchata water with tuna. The piedraszos are very tasty. The truth is, if you want to come and eat a snack or water, it's a very good place. They just need to improve the space and that's it, it'll be perfect.

Si van para probar el piedrazo por primera vez no lo recomiendo mucho. Ya que tiene un sabor muy ácido, ya que el pan lo llenan con un curtido de vinagre. Son de esos platillos que se hizo conocido más de fama que por su sabor. Hay muchos platillos muchísimo más recomendados con sabores súper interesantes. Y conste ya un par de amigos Oaxaqueños no recomiendan para nada este snack.

Hoy miércoles solo atienden en su loca,l que si tiene suficientes asientos pero sus aguas ya son muy comerciales,.sobre todo el agua de chilacayota, que debería ser su carta más fuerte.

Pedí agua de jamaica y estaba descompuesta. Por fortuna me la cambiaron pero para alguien que no sabe, se la va a tomar aun descompuesta. En otra ocasión mi esposa pidió un mango en vinagre y le dieron el más pequeño mi esposa pregunto si le podían dar uno mas grande y la que atiende groseramente le dijo “pues es lo que hay”. No le quisieron cambiar su mango. Ya no regresamos a tomar sus aguas descompuestas.

(Closed and disappeared). I came to Oaxaca to eat at the 4 Netflix Street-Food Oaxaca locations. I was there at the end of April 2021. When I went in middle of the day, it was fully closed. In fact, there was a different lady, with a different stand, selling something completely different. No trace of the Netflix show people. (I am positive that I was at the correct place, as it was right in front of that unique church.) I hope the original people are doing well. Shame that I did not get to experience the food. (Note, in April 2021, only 2 of the 4 featured places on the show were still open.)
