We arrived at 7:30pm and were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress was really kind and for the most part fairly attentive. We ordered an appetizer of beans and chorizo dip and that took a bit to come out but once it arrived its was very good. Our entrees arrived shortly after and both my husband and I enjoyed our meals very much. We will definitely be returning to try other items they offer.

Lil ladies were kinda rude this day of Friday but I came da day before and two hours earlier they were great but food is like New Mexican food thee greatest lol and most authentic and quick service margaritas are fantastic as well just come early Friday through the weekend they great here to midland promise even the Menudo

Can't miss the guacamole con pulpo frito dip. Camarones a la diabla?? Delicous. Chilaquiles Verdes with chile that was actually spicy, not some sort of cheese gravy. Worth the drive out to Cinergy.

I would rate my experience at this establishment three stars for several reasons. Firstly, there was a notable issue with the service. My waiter deliberately neglected to mention a menu item and then proceeded to deny its existence when questioned. This lack of transparency and honesty during my dining experience was disappointing. I believe it's crucial for staff to communicate openly with customers, especially when it comes to menu availability or any other issues that may arise. Secondly, I arrived just 30 minutes before closing time, and I understand that preparing certain dishes, such as octopus for an appetizer, might be challenging at that late hour. However, I was left with the impression that the staff were reluctant to accommodate such requests, which impacted the overall dining experience. Despite this setback, I found the quality of the food to be decent, and the presentation was visually appealing. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant left much to be desired. There was a palpable sense of tension, as if the staff were eager for patrons to finish their meals and leave. This detracted from the overall ambiance and made me feel somewhat unwelcome. Additionally, I observed other customers receiving what appeared to be impatient or dismissive looks from the staff, which further contributed to the negative vibe. On a positive note, the service provided by the waitresses was commendable. They were friendly, attentive, and efficient in their duties. Despite the shortcomings of my experience, their professionalism was a bright spot. In conclusion, while there were aspects of my visit that were satisfactory, such as the quality of the food and the service of the waitresses, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. I don't anticipate returning to this establishment in the future. It's crucial for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure that all patrons are treated with the utmost respect and honesty, regardless of the circumstances.

11/21/21: I ordered the number 17 plate with a cheese quesadilla, beef burrito and a enchilada with red sauce. The food tasted decent but nothing too amazing. The chips and salsa was really good and the sweet tea was pretty good as well. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean, and the staff was nice.

It took over 45 minutes for us to be seated. It then took about 20 minutes just for us to get a couple of waters and sodas. It was honestly not that busy at all. So I don’t understand the constant delays. The food was very bland and the sauce on my rellenos tasted like pizza sauce. It wasn’t that good. For the price it was not worth it at all. Wouldn’t recommend.

Horrible Food and Service! Read all the one star reviews from this past year and 2026! Young lady server worst in the business! Out of town staying in hotel near restaurant, what a big mistake. Service was horrible, acted like she didn’t care less about her guest. The enchiladas had no taste, and very bland. $16.99 for overrated meal! My dog at home eats better than I did tonight. I will never return and you shouldn’t even go, not worth the price or trouble!

This is my favorite mexican food place!❤️ The service is fantastic and the cantaloupe fresca is really good. The burrito is good and the taco is good too. If you get the chalupa eat it with cheese, the cheese is good.

AWFUL MEAL The only redeeming part of this visit was our sweet server—everything else was a disappointment. If you enjoy the taste of old, rancid grease, then this is the place for you. I ordered fried shrimp, and instead of flavor, all I got was the overwhelming taste of oil that clearly hadn’t been changed in far too long. The rice was undercooked, the cheese dip was bland at best, and the entire meal felt sloppy and careless. We were here on a work trip, and I can confidently say: do not waste your time or money here. There are plenty of great spots in town—this one isn’t it.

I have frequented here on several occasions.. $13. for a literal cup of chile con queso is insane to me. WCR location sells the 16 oz cup for $17. Their prices on things change daily according to who is working! Wow! I hate to compare you to Rosa's Cafe, but do better! Who owns this establishment?

Called in an order for 2 menudos and plate of Tacos Al Pastor. This is what my plate looked like when i opened it up. I didn’t receive the bread for my menudos also. I called talked to a manager let her know my issue and if I can at least get a refund on the taco plate. She told me no that I needed to go back up there. I explained that I couldn’t and she hung up on me. This is my first and last time eating here.

UPDATE: 9/23/24 Ended up coming back to give this place another chance. Last couple of times were decent. Went last night and my husband was PUKING and sick after eating here for over 24 hours. The service was extremely slow and the restaurant was empty but 1-2 other tables. They had NO horchata. They’ve changed the cheese dip it’s nasty now. We had to keep asking for stuff to be refilled and brought out. They gave us a kids cup with no lid for my 9 month old. My husbands torta was made incorrectly and we had to send it back. We were charged for a bunch of items that we didn’t ask for and should have been free, but they explained they were training and they did fix the issues with that and corrected the bill. I understood and was happy after waiting 5 minutes to pay while my husband and baby waited in the car. Fast forward to the next day, THEY KEPT MY HUSBANDS DEBIT CARD. We couldn’t find it and that was the last place we had used it. He was sick at home while I was doing errands and I called and described the card exactly and the name and the lady told me I couldn’t pick up the card without his ID. I explained he was still sick in the bed and we have the same unique last name and she finally said ok I will let you pick up the card. Like excuse me? I explained everything over the phone and it’s your mistake that you guys kept OUR DEBIT CARD. I did retrieve the card but my god. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Abril T served me through the drive through a little over a month ago. Just now have time to write this review. She said excuse me so many times and was so incredibly rude and has unnecessary attitude. Like it was so bad I still remembered to write this review. The meat in the fajita salad was inedible, chewy and disgusting. Birra tacos are ok, they barely give you any cilantro and onion. This place has really went down hill. Looks like I wasn’t the only person that has experienced issues with the staff. If you can’t hear, get a hearing aid. I’m not going to keep repeating myself 10 times. Also, they charge you a surcharge in the drive through with no explanation. Shut it down.

We're extremely disappointed with our experience at this establishment. Our tripe tacos were almost burnt and the serving size was minimal. We also ordered a dish for our one-year-old daughter, and when we asked if it was spicy, the waitress responded rudely, assuring us it wasn't. However, when our daughter tried it, she burst into tears because it was too spicy, even for an adult. We're thoroughly disappointed and advise others not to waste their money here.
