We enjoyed scrumptious home made beef empanadas, morcillas and arepas at El Carriel. I particularly enjoyed the chicharrones as my meal. It is family owned business with great service and dedication to please the customer. I plan to be back when visiting Miami.

The food was the best Colombian Food I have had in Miami.

From the moment you walk inside the restaurant you are greeted by the friendly staff. Once you order prepare to have your taste buds blown away. This is our second time and we are delighted to pass the word around that the food is exceptional. Fresh, seasoned and most importantly light on oil/grease, any plate you order will meet and exceed your expectations. From the fried pork rings/guacamole to the main course you will not be disappointed. The soft ambiance music the smell of coffee and the welcoming attention of the staff. Prices are great we (3 adults) ate plenty for what we paid for. You will do a disservice to your taste buds if you don't try this amazing place out.

After coming a second time I can safely say that this is a wonderful place to eat and just enjoy yourself. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. The grilled and breaded chicken is amazing. I would highly recommend this place as a family outing or a night out with friends the karaoke was amazing!

The food and drinks are amazing !!!!!! I can’t even explain how delicious it was, and they give you a lot of food. The atmosphere was also amazing, great music, all the customers took turns singing karaoke and surprisingly some of the people who sang did a great job! This is a hidden gem and I wish I could give it 10 stars! This is definitely my new favorite place!

Best Colombian food I have had in Miami in a LONG TIME! Married to a Colombian I have learned what good Colombian food is and have been to many many Colombian restaurants in the city and some are good, some are a hit or miss, and today on a Sunday after finishing groceries we decided to eat out and I said let’s try a new place, found this hidden gem! EVERYTHING and when I say everything I mean everything was amazing. From the empanadas to the bandeja paisa to the pollo en salsa de champiñones was delicious and it’s all home made even they sausages are made in house! Definitely a must try and we certainly will be back! Service was also great, making you feel right at home and super friendly!

Great vibes, fantastic food and warm service. We tried the Mondongo, sancocho trifásico, chuleta de cerdo and picada. All four were authentic and delicious. One of the best options for Colombian food in Miami.

Sancocho trifasico was delicious! It came with everything fresh, abundant and hot. Empanadas were really good. We tried FRIJOLES and were like from Medellin. Service was excellent. Claudia did a wonderful job.

Food is great and the service is amazing. Authentic Columbian food. It’s a family run restaurant and they make you feel at home. Definitely will be back.
