It’s the best Starbucks in the city. It used to be a premier Starbucks Reserve. Seating fills up after 11am so hurry up if you don’t want to have to wait to sit! The staff are lovely; quick, friendly, and accurate with your orders.

Marco (offered to clean my car) 🚗 and the associate with glasses from cash register (accidentally forgot her name) went above and beyond the expectations. They ensured to provide me with an experience rooted in proficiency and dedication to providing their customers with the required assistance that they require. Henceforth, I would highly recommend this Starbucks location within the North York area as you will not be disappointed! The staff members are highly trained and skilled within their field of practise which is much appreciated!

The service and staff were truly wonderful. On this lovely Sunday morning, the kind asian girl at the cash instantly corrected my coffee order, which had been placed incorrectly, all with a warm smile. Such small gestures go a long way in making a customer’s day and she certainly made mine :)

This place used to have such a nice atmosphere, but it seems to have declined over the years. During our recent visit, it was disappointingly dusty, and the shelves were oddly empty, which gave the space a neglected feel. It felt like cleaning and upkeep are no longer priorities. Not sure what happened with management, but it’s a noticeable change. On a positive note, the food and drinks are still excellent, and the customer service remains great.

My personal opinion this might be the best Starbucks in Toronto, and the decoration is so similar to the NYC Chelsea market branch. If my memory serves me right, this shop is also the only one in Toronto where you could buy the unique coffee beans

My favourite upscale Starbucks by far. I love the Reserve drinks and the exclusive Reserve merchandises. One of the Reserve items I got had a problem, and I was bummed out about it for a week. However, when I brought it back, the manager and his staff addressed the issue for me, which made my day! They have a solid team, and everyone there is friendly and professional. Thank you, Starbucks Team @ Don Mills! =)

I like this location. The staff are nice and the service is fast. A good crowd and a huge well set up space makes it more enjoyable to have a coffee here. One of the staff members had a beautiful dark shadow on her eye. Loved it.

2025 July 3.5★ A nice Starbucks with a very decent sized seating area. Standard faire drinks you'd expect. Good customer service. Trendy and good looking crowd. Free parking.

I should preface this by saying I’ve worked for Starbucks for 15 years, so whenever I’m somewhere new, I try to visit a different location just to see how they do things. Having already stopped at Pablo’s and the nearest Tim Horton’s, I decided to drop into the Starbucks at Don Mills to see how it measured up. Right off the bat, I noticed that Starbucks has the most interior room of the three. That said, it’s not really fair to compare them directly—each spot offers a different experience. The larger space here does come with a downside, though: more room means more guests, so it was a bit hectic when I visited. Still, nothing that would have stopped me from bringing my laptop and getting some work done if that had been the plan. The staff were extremely nice, and my barista struck up a conversation about travel and other things, which was a nice touch. Even as someone who works for the company, I know not every Starbucks gets your drink right, but I could tell my barista made mine with care—and it was delicious. Overall, a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be back to say hi and grab another drink the next time I’m in the area.

Really nice location. Love the architectural designs especially the use of wood and metal. Very big so usually don’t have a problem finding a seat. Given it’s location and the fact that it’s a reserve it’s always very busy so lines and wait times are long. I recommend doing the mobile order and even still sometimes I have to wait. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff.

It was a good experience but nothing exceptionally different from the regular Starbucks. Talking about beverages and food, they definitely have a larger variety of things across the board. With food, they can be more vegan-friendly. What is marginally better is the experience with the staff which was friendlier. We have been a Starbucks fan for quite some time now and were excited at the launch of the Reserve.

Service wasn't very good, was stuck waiting because staff were chatting amongst themselves. After placing the order staff were still chatting amongst themselves for a while before starting to prepare the drinks. The person making the drinks was taking a long time - possibly they were new (just based on their speed), not sure. My drink was not completely filled. If you were going to sit around there then it'd be okay (decor is nice), but if you intend to grab and go I'd recommend ordering through the app first or visit the location at York Mills if its not too out of the way.

This location used to be THE best - recently there seems to always be something wrong when I order. Either a long wait time, missing items, or drinks with wrong ingredients or being filled halfway. This location used to be sparkly and full of buzz - the management must have changed and it reflects in the energy of the staff and the place. As a Starbucks Reserve store, the seating area is nice but this is no longer my go to spot from this company.
