My favorite bar in Orange County. The food is great and everyone here is amazing. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I love the burgers and cold shiner bock on tap. Great wings great fries great steaks great cocktails. The list goes on. So many tv's you can watch all the games from anywhere in the place. Eat some delicious food. Snack on some chips and salsa while drinking some cold beers and watching sports. I'm a big fan. Highly recommend it.
Found this place @acesbaroc in Orange. Small bar but has lots of TVs and good surround sound. Ordered asada fries that were great, also tried the quesobirria pretty good. Their drinks are great also had a paloma with blueberry and a pepino margarita . Overall cool spot to watch the games and get a bite to eat. #orange #foodie #aces #asada #fries #queso #birria #drinks #oc #review #paloma
Good food and great service! In town for work and tried Aces Bar & Grill. The food was good and props to the kitchen, but there was one woman working the bar and the floor and she was excellent. Quick but courteous and efficient. The spicy aces burger was extra spicy this night with the Serrano peppers, but the staff made it worth a good review. Hope to come back next time I fly into John Wayne Airport.
Aces is my favorite place to chill and watch sports! Eddie is the best! Along with the rest of the staff. Great drinks and drink specials! 🍻🥃🍹🍷🍸🥂🍾 come on in! 👍😁🏈⚽️⚾️🏀🥊
The "Bad Andy Band" Played Classic Rock Dec 21st, 2024. 6-10pm. The place was packed!!!! They rocked the place! They will be back!
So we popped in here for the playoffs and it's a great little spot! Tons of TV's and friendly people. We ordered the mulita which is absolutely fantastic, home made tortillas. Putting this place on my map!
Great new bar and owners! Eddie is a true leader for his team! Great wine selection. Locally sourced
It's sad to say but ACES is officially closed. Eddie, I wosh you the best and let people know if you will be opening another Bar. I appreciate you. Take care. Steve - The New Yorker
In our first visit the owner Eddie took care of us. We went to watch the Euro Cup game. I asked Eddie can you put the sound so we can hear the game and he said of course. The place is very family oriented. Food is excellent. Everything about that place is excellent.
Food was delicious and our server was very friendly. We had a group of 13 and she did awesome.
Great people place with a great mix of folks. Perfect place to watch any sporting event. Food is great bar selections. Servers are very attentive. The owner is very down to earth and friendly.
Only been once to see a band. Really nice place, very cool vibe, friendly staff. The night I was there they were all very busy but still acommadated. I won't hesitate to go again, and I wish there was an Aces here in my town. 2 thumbs up.
1st timer, new to Cali - 9 months - had Family visiting. Great atmosphere enough wide screen tvs to see every angle of the Superbowl. Raffles, great food, delicious drinks, courteous staff & servers. I will be back & now when they come to visit they will too.
Great spot to watch any sports event. I took my kid to watch a futbol game (soccer), and the ambient was spectacular. Eddy, the owner of this place, is great. Always taking care of everyone, suggesting the right food to order, making sure your glass was never empty. Definitely, I'm coming back to this place.
Nice place. Typical 85 degrees bakery. Not much to gripe about except the seating. Never quite felt the same after covid.
This place is amazing. So many options, sweet or savory! The bread is chewy, soft, and the creams and other fillings are perfect. Not too sweet, not too salty. The staff are great and knowledgeable. The cakes are dangerous because they are beautiful and you will find yourself eating more slices than you intended. Nothing in this place tastes artificial. Its because of that these will not sit for days or weeks on your table. Be ready to eat them within a day or two. Ive never tried freezing them because we dont let them sit. Frankly I am happy that it is not close to where I live because I would be disgusted by my own greed and probably go bankrupt 😂
Had a great experience here! The food and pastries are delicious! We had coffee and tea which were great as well. If they could re-arrange some things to add a few more tables, I think that would be nice for guests. Will be back soon!
Order drinks on the kiosk when you 1st arrive, because they generally only have 1 person working drinks and it takes a bit, especially if it's busy abd you have multiple. The overall selection at this location is pretty good, not as good as Southcenter though. They do a pretty good job keeping things clean, but when it's busy they can struggle. The staff is nice enough, but it's not one of those places where they'll go out of their way to make your day. It's get in, get out with great pastries type of service imo. Never had a negative experience, except for drinks taking long. We love, love, love the egg tarts...I have not had better. And my kids love the chocobuns and lemon muffin packs. Definitely try it out and get a box of egg tarts...you won't regret having them with coffee!
85°C Bakery Cafe Review: A Delightful Treat for Any Age What a wonderful find! As someone who’s been around the block a few times, I can honestly say 85°C Bakery Cafe is one of the most enjoyable bakery experiences I’ve had in quite a while. It reminds me of the bakeries I used to visit in my younger years, but with a modern twist—and a distinctly Asian/Taiwanese flavor that’s simply delightful. I was impressed right away by the huge selection of pastries. The shelves were full when we arrived in the morning, and it was such a joy to walk along and see all the fresh, beautifully made breads and treats. Everything looked so tempting! And the best part? The pastries aren’t overly sweet—just the right amount of flavor without going overboard. It’s a refreshing change from many bakeries these days. We picked up a mango cake, and it was light as air—not heavy or overly rich. Just perfect with a cup of tea. Truly a treat. The variety here is also worth noting; there’s something for every taste, whether you prefer sweet, savory, or a little bit of both. The staff was so kind and attentive, which I always appreciate. They made sure we found what we were looking for and had everything we needed. Service was quick and pleasant—just the way I like it. The coffee was fine—not the best I’ve had, but it’ll do if you’re having a pastry alongside it. Honestly, the real stars here are the baked goods. If you’re watching calories, maybe don’t look too closely—but trust me, it’s worth it now and then to indulge. The space is a bit small and not the most comfortable if you’re planning to sit for a while, but if you’re just picking up some goodies to take home or enjoy in the car, it works just fine. All in all, I highly recommend 85°C Bakery Cafe. It’s a charming spot with excellent baked goods and lovely staff. I think I’ve found my new favorite bakery—and that’s saying something!
Love this place. I go almost every weekend. The breads, pastries and cakes are delicious and beyond reasonably priced. The place can get super busy really fast. Staff is always helpful and friendly. People love their coffees as well as the breads. The milk chocolate toast is a breakfast fav. I absolutely love this place. If you have the change to go don’t miss it GO!!!!!!!!!
We came in the morning so the shelf’s were fairly stocked. The selection is very good so fits many different tastes. We came in to get a mango cake which was airy delicious and just perfect. Highly recommend for baked goods. Coffee is alright, not the best. But baked goods are great. Just don’t count the calories. Food is great, service is fairly fast, atmosphere could use some work. Fairly small but if your just picking up it doesn’t really matter.
First time coming to this chain bakery. I didn’t get a good picture of the pastries because I was holding a tray, but my chocolate croissant/pain au chocolat was SO YUMMY!!! The taro bun (don’t remember the exact name) was good too! I’m going to an 85 degree celcius bakery every time I’m in Washington!! Ps. the cake looks amazing. I would buy it next time if I wasn’t heading to the airport soon.
Affordable, fresh, and delicious bread/cakes/drinks. Plenty of cake selections and flavors, plenty of pastries to choose from, caffeinated drinks and non-caffeinated drinks are in the menu as well. You can order drinks at the kiosk to skip the line. There are a few tables inside the cafe to wait for your order or to just hang out. Overall, it was a great experience enjoying our Saturday morning with delicious and flavorful bakery at this cafe. Highly recommended when you happen to be in Federal Way!
The bakery items - wonderful and flavorful as always. The baker also announces when they place a new batch of food on the stands for people to maybe choose and pick the fresher one. This is an awesome gesture in my opinion. There is no concern with the quality here. The only concern I have is the crowd. It was a Sunday afternoon and it took me almost thirty minutes to get my stuff. There are three counters for payments however only two were at function. I understand having all three function at once would not have a tremendous impact however I would still say even if the customer's waiting time is cut by five minutes - its a win. The lavender latte is a clear winner. For the people going - I would recommend if you are more than one person and its busy - have one of you join the queue for payment and the other shop for the food - it will save time. As it is, coffee order is taken at the payment counter only, so you have to additionally wait for your coffee if ordering, even after your done with the payment queue. I still give a five star coz its the food and the price that knocks it off the roof.
Everything in the bakery is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the red velvet! ❤️ all of the breads and snacks are backed fresh daily and priced reasonably. My only complaint is that they run out of red velvet too quickly, and there’s typically a long line to check out because they only have one cashier. Don’t forget to download their app to get some freebies.
Service is great. Lots of options for baked goods. Those that I did end up buying had lots of flavor. Bought two drinks, which was the only thing that I waited on, maybe 3-5 minutes. Ordered a strawberry milk tea, which has real strawberries. There were lots of people, which shows you how good they are.
First time here. Great place for PPV fights and I am sure games ! Staff is very nice. Lots of TV screens. Food was nothing amazing.
I come here almost every week to get bread for breakfast. Bread is fresh and very affordable (most are between $2-4 each). Drinks are cheaper than a regular boba shop (around $5-6). Highly recommend Sea Salt Coffee and Sea Salt Jasmine Tea with Boba. Service is always good. There are 3-4 small tables. Tip: If you are here as frequently as me, get the 85C app. You get member discount every month. And you can get rewards, such as free drinks or bread, by collecting points.
Friendly, delicious burgers, shrimp tacos. Stick to the simple food, great curly fries. Full bar with a good variety of drinks. Noisy, and full of energy, service lags, a bit slow. I will go back for the shrimp tacos.
Good atmosphere and vibe however, serving cheap meat off at craft burger prices is not acceptable. I know the reply will be it’s not but it is. For the price it really needs to be a decent sourced meat. Everything else on the plate is great! These are frozen cheap patties.
Ordered a strawberry matcha latte, waited 10 minutes and watched the workers walk back and forth without doing any drink making, my order came out wrong with no strawberries. When I walked up to get my drinks and saw it was wrong, the worker told me “no it isn’t, this is what it was rung up as”. Then I waited five more mins for the correct drink. The sanitary practices of this place also seem pretty bad.
Waiting for 20 min, did get served. Left the place and went somewhere else. Came back because I left my car there. Went in again and sat at the bar. Ordered a shot chilled and she brought back a full glass of water and tequila. Obviously does k kw how to make a chilled shot. Won't go back there anymore. Lots of tv, shame I would like to see a game there.
Terrible, they don't respect your belongings like in other places. I forgot my glasses and the waitress kept them. They refused to show me the security cameras. Awful service and horrible food. Thieves.
I know it's a bar, but me and a friend went here to talk about some future business between me and him. I got there a little later than him but he was sitting at a table already and I assumed he had bee seated there or something. He told me that no one had seen him or asked him for a drink or anything. After about 10 mins we finally talk to a waitress and she takes our order. The place was dead and me and my friend didn't complain or anything about the wait. Once our food got to our table it was cold and not as we ordered. So we ate a little and had 1 drink because we were never asked if we wanted a refill and paid and left. The food was really expensive and not worth it or the service.
