Tip: Make axe throwing reservations separately from dinner reservations, as it gets busy.
Family of 3, we were there on a Friday night, food was amazing, service was timely and great! We had the chicken tacos, Birria grilled cheese, corn bread, tots, and margaritas and ale. I would highly recommend this restaurant! We also did axe throwing for an hour! It was a great experience and tons of fun!
Our party arrived for a 6:30 reservation at 6:20 and was seated by 6:30 in the patio. It took a bit to be greeted by our server but not excessive. Once our order was taken it took 56 minutes for all to be served which was horribly unacceptable. During our wait, our server never let us know of any particular delay and I had to Inquire why its taken nearly a hour to be served. As it was my birthday, our server mentioned she would bring a desert which she ended up forgetting. I have frequented this restaurant as well as the Livermore and Walnut Creek restaurants at prime time but have never received such poor service. I will definitely think twice before returning to this restaurant.
We were here for Valentine’s Day for lunch and it was worth the drive from Montclair. The big sexy chicken sandwich was worth every penny and seasoned by Jesus himself. This sandwich was so good I could have pulled a Meg Ryan at the table like in When Harry Met Sally. Everything was hot and fresh and the service was great, my Arnold Palmer was never empty. Thank you people of Sauced 🙏🏼 here’s my pic with the sandwich. It’s Joy and Fear (because of the massiveness) put together 😂
Awesome place, went here to axe throw and take out our frustrations from getting ripped off at Mazda of orange! Very satisfying.
We stopped with my friend around 3pm on a monday of course not busy service was friendly food was tasty, got burnt ends chicken and ribs baked beans corn bread and mac and cheese only the mac and cheese wasnt that great but everything else tasty, my friend got a mezcal mango margarita it was very good, only thing was the food didnt feel hot maybe lukewarm the server told us it comes from the smoker idk but I would come back and they have axe throwing which seems so fun
I had the brisket burnt ends and the pork belly burnt ends with a side of potato salad and a side of cole slaw.....just go and have some...I had a foodgasm and their bbq sauces are delicious. this place has a bar...a really big bar. plenty of seating and axe throwing...lol...yes I said axe throwing. go see for yourself and have a great time. the staff was super friendly and very professsional. Sauced Bbq & Spirits is in a beautiful location close to Angel stadium and the freeway. go get you some.
Service was great. Our server was very patient and helpful as we are first timers and some in our group had questions about their menu. Food came out quickly and it was all very delicious. We will be back again. Oh yeah, Great tasting sweet tea!
Three entrees, six sides, and bottomless strawberry lemonades later … and I am a fan of their dinosaur ribs. I don’t know what kind of time travel magic they use but it’s like a GIANT baby back rib. I never thought that I would ever love anything more than baby back ribs. I learned something about myself today that changed my life forever.
This is my kind of place. I ordered chicken, which I never do at a BBQ place. The 1/2 chicken was juicy and had good flavor, and that was without the sauce. The wings were crispy, I got them naked so I can try all the sauces. The ranch was good, the regular mac was ok. I'll definitely be back. They have axe throwing, I didn't get to do it but I'll check it out next time.
We came here for axe throwing and lunch with some friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend it. The axe throwing was a lot of fun and set up so that some of your party can be at the little table outside and some can be throwing and it's easy to switch off as well as take pictures or cheer from outside the cage. The staff was all friendly and welcoming. We liked our lunch a lot everything was delicious. My wife really enjoyed the smash burger and we all shared some waffle fries and boneless wings. Great cocktails as well with lots of variety to chose from. Come here for your special occasion whether it's a small or large group I think you'll have a great time!
I'm from Louisville Kentucky where I can get the worlds best BBQ pork sandwich with two sides for $8.99, and so how was my experience here: excellent!!! You get what you paid for; yes it's a bit pricey compared to what I'm used to, but my BBQ pork sandwich was humongous. Those were the best waffle fries I've ever had (even though yes they could have been warmer). I would pay $17 for that meal any day. Everyone loved the brisket chunks, ribs, and giant moist chicken. I could tell everything had been smoked and the waiter confirmed that. Everybody thought the mac and cheese was phenomenal. We got some rhubarb cocktails, and they were so original, like nothing I could make at home.
This place is so good! The whiskey list is far deeper than most bars. Ladies if your man likes whiskey and bbq you need to get him here! I recommend the daily beer and shot selection. They have a cocktail for everyone too. The burnt ends are a must here, they tender, juicy, salty and sweet. Also try the nachos and the short rib. Axe throwing makes this an awesome date night. I usually sit at the bar and we always get taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Boyfriend and I sat at the Bar enjoyed a good dinner and drinks! Very attentive. Food was amazing
First time here, and I have to say the service was fantastic. BIG Shout out to Jenna she was amazing!!! The food was great overall. However, the pulled pork was not. I mentioned it to Jenna, and she tried multiple times to correct it, for which I refused it was my opinion to me it tasted sour and bitter. We got the brisket burnt ends ribs wings and the swamp fries. Oh boy, were they good over all if by chance I happen to be near here, I would definitely stop by
Great food...great service...great atmosphere!!! Outstanding bbq!!! Such a great place to hit up...Axe throwing was very fun!!! A definite must go to spot!!! Mix drinks need some work as they are very mix heavy and sweet...great selection on whiskey and the daily specials are an awesome deal...will definitely be back...jalapeño slaw is fantastic as well as the bbq beans and Mac n cheese👍👍👍
The food was really good, however quite pricey for the portions. For example, with the price they need more portions for sides the sides need to balance with the amount of meat that you get, besides the sides are the cheapest on the plate. I don't think the cornbread should be a side, it should complementary like when get dinner rolls or bread from the other restaurants. Because of the cost it will be awhile before we go back. Overall the meat was fabulous top notch. Also, it's very loud because of the acoustics and the tables are too small with all the plates and drinks I couldn't put my plate on the table all the way because there wasn't enough room!
We ordered the meat platter. The roasted chicken was the top pick, then the burnt ends and lastly the pork. The drinks were good; refreshing. The platter came with chilli, but it had a sweet tinge to it. we weren't a fan of that. The Axe throwing was fun. The wife had fun too. This was our first time though, so need to practice. But I think I've gotten a hang of the technique though.
First timer! I came with my son and his girlfriend and noticed how nice and friendly the staff was. We were seated promptly and everything from start to finish was excellent!!! Definitely worth the $ and I will be returning!
Bar service is great. As a chef, here’s my recommendations. Get rid of the barbecue/vinegar dressing. Add either ranch dressing and or barbecue sauce on the cali salad. maybe add some croutons or crispy tortilla chips, something to add a crunch. The brisket does not need to be chopped up as it looks very minimal on the salad . It would be better as a whole piece like typical barbecue places. Overall great place. Thanks
Absolutely a great time because of a bartender! As a long time diner outer I have to say that my evening at Sauced was excellent. Not just for the food or the drinks or the moderately sized TVs with Thursday night football but for the service & wonderful sense of humor. Jenna kept the bar uplifted & excited about the game, the music & the atmosphere. This place is back on the map after a long hiatus because of great hiring.
Place has an amazing set up. Bar is really cool. The axe throwing is really cool. Serving staff is great. Come around often asking what you need. Portions are big. The BBQ sauce with habanero is a must. They make a good whiskey Long Island. TVs everywhere to watch games. Definitely going back
Expensive but really good! Better deal and food compared to Disney. The hush puppies were different 9from traditional recipes. The salad is filled with fresh vegetables. The cornbread had a glaze but was good as well. Jalapeno cheese sausage was decent. Brisket has great smoky flavor on the outside which helped the bland interior of the meat. Four sauces to choose from. We ordered a 3 and 2 meat meal with two sides. Full bar as well. Waffle fries are heavily seasoned. Mac and cheese was yummy, both beans were tasty and the baked beans should not be missed. Ribs and pulled pork were excellent as well. A great experience and 15 minutes from Disney.
Great place, delicious food and lots of fun. Make sure to make your axe throwing reservations, they are separate from your dinner reservations and it gets busy back there. The burnt end sell out quickly, and our 2nd visit (it’s that good, we went back) they were out because the distributor was experiencing a disturbance in the delivery. Delicious food and for $4 make your drink a double! The parking lot is busy, be patient.
This visit was my first time at the restaurant. It blew me away right from the get go! It is a giant place with several spaces for dining and an impressive size bar both indoors and outdoors. It even has some cage looking things in the back where you can practice axe throwing. We ended up sitting outside where they had Tv's to enjoy watching your favorite sport team. My sister loves BBQ so we wanted to taste some of their classic dishes and wow seriously almost everything in our plate became our new BBQ favorite. The only thing we both weren't super crazy about was their macaroni and cheese but that's just a preference thing I think. We loved their selection of beers and alcohol in general the service was really good shout out to our server I believe her name was Anna she was so much fun and even took a selfie with us lol 😆 so awesome! Love people like that. They can make a place feel so home so down to earth and welcoming it makes you want to come back. The most impressive thing to me beyond all the mentioned was how little we had to wait for our food after ordering that was great because we were hungry. Another thing that impressed me personally was at each table they have 4 different types of BBQ sauces for you to try with your meal. Some of them were just delicious sauces the others were deliciously spicy. Seriously you got to come and try this place it is totally worth the experience. I also would recommend making a reservation. We went on a Thursday and the place was pretty full so I can't imagine a weekend. Congrats Sauced BBQ for getting so many things right and making our dining experience so amazing!
Prob not the best group to review but I showed up with my wife and 2 young girls late afternoon and got seated right away. Our server was very accommodating but service was a lil slow . Things got slower as dinner rush came in. Also axe throwing.
The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent, my only issue was while the ribs were nice and tender, it was lacking flavor, ended up being carried by the sauce. Overall 4.5 out of 5
This is my go-to spot for meeting friends before Ducks and Angels games! The happy hour deals are fantastic, with generous portions and great prices on both food and drinks. They also have tons of TVs, making it easy to catch other games or sporting events. Just be aware that the bar can get incredibly busy, especially right before game time. If you're ordering anything beyond a basic beer or cocktail, you might have to wait a bit longer than usual. But overall, it's a fun, lively atmosphere with great deals - perfect for getting hyped for the game!
I came at lunchtime on a Monday. It was pretty empty inside. The server wasn't at the desk, so I waited a bit for her to come back. I ordered a 3 meat lunch special. I got brisket, pork belly burnt ends, and a andouille sausage. For my 2 sides, I got baked beans and potato salad. The meats brisket 10 outta 10, it was seasoned well and tender/soft. I loved it. The pork burnt ends. However, it was very tough for me , not seasoned enough salt wise. The sausage was just a spicy sausage, nothing to write home about. The sides. The baker beans were pretty good and not super sweet but sweet enough, although I am not sure what kind of beans they used, but they tasted like a pinto bbq bean to me. The potato salad was a HARD no for me. Very mustard forward... the menu said it came with bacon and green onions that literally put a teaspoon on top. The potato salad overall is to me too wet, not enough potatoes, and they are cut fairly small and also under salted to me. I got 5 bbq sauce on the side. They weren't labeled well, so I had no idea which sauce was what. They did include a paper with descriptions of each sauce, which would have been helpful if labeled properly. For the sauce, I only ended up liking 1. Also, it would have been nice if they included sliced bread with the meats. I saw some reviews had bread, and im wondering if they requested/ordered it separately. I would return to try more items. Lunch time seems a good time to try it considering the special pricing.
Good place for a team lunch, large dining area. Good food options for everyone one in a casual atmosphere. Don't expect Championship level BBQ here the food was good and the portions are above average. The wait staff could be more attentive, we had to keep asking for drinks refills.
We shared a full rack of St. Louis Ribs and it was plenty for two people with the two sides. There were different sauces on the table to try too. There was a long list for axe throwing, so we only got to watch. It was a nice lively atmosphere inside and cozy outside with all the space heaters.
The service was very quick, and everything seemed super fresh and hot. The restaurant was clean and the table was well stocked. We got a 2 meat combo with 1/2 a chicken, pork burnt ends, chili mac, and beans, along with an order of honky tonk fries (not pictured, eaten too quickly), and one soda for $40-something. It was too much food split between two people, and we had to take home plenty of meat. The chicken was great and surprisingly moist. The burnt ends had delicious flavor but kind of hurt to eat they were so dry. The chili mac was by far the best thing we ordered. This is probably the best chili I've ever had! The beans were also absolutely perfect. Our fries were kind of pricey for the portion but they came out very crispy and perfectly loaded. All of their bbq sauces were very light, smoky, and vinegary, and I honestly loved all of them but especially the mustard bbq with the chicken, as well as the hot. I would definitely come here again for the chili and to try other meats.
I've eaten there a number of times after going to the century 25 theaters after a movie. Often busy sometimes noisy, but unless this weekend nights the Wait, depending on the size of your party, are usually not too long.. if you have your heart set on the burnt ends-- you better get there early!
Came in on a Saturday afternoon (3 pm) and there was no wait. Although, we did have a reservation through Yelp it wasn't necessary. We were very excited to try the menu out (my husband and I grew up in Texas so we're always eager to try the local BBQ!) We had the following: - Bumpkins appetizer which I HIGHLY recommend. The flavor is fantastic! Make sure to try it with the different BBQ sauces at the table. - 2 meat bbq combo - Burnt End Brisket, Jalapeños sausage, honey cornbread, jalapeño slaw. I think the name for the Brisket is misleading. I was expecting the actual burnt ends brisket with some crunch. This was just brisket bits with BBQ sauce, which was still good don't get me wrong, just not what I was expecting. Everything else I'd recommend. - Smoked 1/2 Chicken, Stone Ground Jalapeno Cheese Grits, Buffalo Blue Fries. For this entree, the chicken was ok, nothing special BUT the sides were phenomenal. I am not a blue cheese fan but loved these fries in particular. -Cocktails: Satin sheets & Blackberry mule.
My friends and I were in the mood for some southern style barbecue and this place popped up. Upon walking in, it smelled amazing. The staff is very friendly, eager to help and the atmosphere is great. I absolutely fell in love with the brisket ends and mac n cheese in particular and that kansas bbq hot sauce. For dessert, definitely get the banana pudding - it's so creamy, soft with fresh whipped cream - and it's just enough to share a few bites. My only thing is that this place is pretty expensive, but it is a rather upscale restaurant, so that's a given. Definitely a place to come and splurge when you can.
The Mac cheese 🧀 was so cheesy 🤤The Burnt ends where absolutely mouth watering! And full of smoke flavor! The drinks 🍹 where a plus! Dessert was amazing 😻 the Fried Oreos are a must! A little pricey but worth it!! They have 🪓 Axe throwing also, just need to reserve and that’s separate from dinner.
Best BBQ I have experienced in Orange county so far. Their burnt ends are amazing and so is the swamp fries. I did not like the pulled pork though it was too dry for my taste. As far as the sides I am big on the beans as they are smoked and sweet to perfection. The hostesses are absolutely amazing and best in class our server was also great but a bit slow. Drinks came randomly and slowly.
I had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. The meat was very tender and they have 4 different BBQ sauces on the table you can use. I also had a blackberry mule and their in house beers. The ones I tried were pretty good and I would get them again. Items are a bit expensive but most BBQ places are. They also had axe throwing at the location if that's something you want to try.
I had the Brisket Burnt Ends, with Mac & Cheese, and Corn Bread. The burnt ends were dry and stringy, but had a decent flavor, I ate a few of them before I remembered to take the pic. The Mac and corn bread were both very good. My daughter had the Hyphy Heifer Burger, with Waffle Fries. She loved them both and I agree with her assessment of the burger, it was pretty incredible, but unfortunately she didn't give me the opportunity to try the fries (she ate them all). Our waitress Elisabeth A, was very friendly and helpful. Total cost with a Dr Pepper and Strawberry Lemonade was, $55.48. a bit expensive I think, but I don't get to set the prices. You should try it out for yourself.
Wound highly recommended the baked beans. The ribs were good, and the brisket was just Ok. About half of it was pure fat and the other was meat. My complaint was the garlic mashed potatoes were cold and not good and the bumpkins were gross. We were recommended by the waiter too to try these.. was unfortunate. But beans were great.
OK. G-reviews doesn’t allow for 1/2 stars. So, this is a 4.5. There was a few minor opinions that adjusted the overall star review down a half a star. We were greeted and seated very quickly on the patio. Our server arrived shortly, and was pleasant and professional. We had one appetizer and three entrées. We also had a couple of cocktails and beers. We also took some desserts to go, banana pudding. As far as food was rated, the macaroni and cheese, was not to our liking all three of us had the same opinion of a mushy consistency.. once I notified the server, he switched it out for cornbread. The meats were very good, I wouldn’t go great or amazing. I usually prefer to have my barbecue without sauce and indulge in the natural flavors of the meats. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that here. But fortunately the sauces were delightful and had good rich, smoky flavor. Jalapeño sausage was delicious. The pulled pork was lacking a little flavor and was a tad on the bland side for my liking. The potato salad was delicious as well as the corn fritters. The decor and atmosphere were inviting and we unfortunately didn’t have time to partake in the axe throwing available there. The cocktails were good with flavor, but had a light handed pour. For a $13 cocktail, should have had a bit of a punch to it. Overall great experience, as stated 4.5 out of five. Hoping maybe next visit will come in as a home run!
Ambience is great. You can enjoy axe throwing as well. Fun place to hang out with friends and family . As well as official meet with you colleagues. Food and drink is great here. I just liked the corn bread, it is one of the best one I had so far. Chicken tenders were good also shaved waffles were great. I would like to visit again.
super inconsistent with their food i was their twice ordered brisket both times one time was super juicy probaly the 4th best brisket id ever had the other time is was dry but descent flavor. i think they are adding a substance to make their food smokier tasting with out actually smokeing it probaly sulfate based gave me and my friend an upset stomach, him that night and me the next day. Which didn't happen on our first trip. Also the portions seemed to be reduced between the trips. The sides are solid not amazing pulled pork was great the one time we had it. The burnt ends was great once and good the other time My friend hated the ribs said it was some of the worst ribs hes had. Their saveing grace is that their sauces are top notch with good sides and a good desert meats range from awful to quite good depending on the meat and the day although the upset stomach really bothered me which is why i gave it a 2 instead of a 3 bigest issue is it cost us around 66$ which isnt awful for bbq but it is awful for the reduce portions and food quality
Food was great and ordered quick. Brought quick. Ordered drinks and never got them. delivered our check before dronks
Do not go on a busy night as they will run out of the good stuff! We were only able to try the chicken, wings, and ribs as they were out of all other meets including brisket and pulled pork. Understandable as most bbq restaurants only cook so much for the day. This place is called sauced bbq but the only good bbq sauce they have is the pig candy. The other ones, for my taste, were not good. Thankfully I tried them before pouring it onto my food. For sides we got beans and the jalapeño coleslaw. I'm used to sweet baked beans but these were cowboy beans, more like chili. They were decent, I would give them a 3.5 out of 5. The coleslaw was okay as well, nothing that I would go an order again. I would go here again to try the rest of the meat, but it's decently far so I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
burnt ends sandwich was delicious full flavored, caramelized goodness! waffle fries paired well with the sandwich, plenty crispy barbecue sauces were all wonderful hot tin roof was a medium pour, had plenty of kick and smoked flavor tastiest of them all 🔥 pig candy was a light pour, well rounded house made tangy sauce🍅 and georgia gold was a tart mustard, light pour southern style sauce🔅
I was really excited to try this place as it photographs really well and I've heard folks say it's really good. In retrospect, I realized those folks have not had proper bbq :) Some of the food was quite tasty, and some of it wasn't there. Their BBQ sauces are just OK. Personal preference definitely applies here, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. They were pretty vinegary in general so if that's your jam, you'll like enjoy them. I only sort of liked the Hot Tin Roof. The Meats: - Brisket Burnt Ends: These were tasty enough. I've definitely had better in Texas and Georgia, but it scratched the itch. - Ribs: Nope. I'm sorry but ribs are supposed to FALL OFF THE BONE. These did not. You needed a knife to separate them and that's just like... a cardinal sin of ribs. Nonono. - Sliced Brisket: Ok. Not the best, not the worst. - Smoked Cheddar Jalapeno Sausage: Legit tasty! Would eat this again, no hesitation. Really well executed. The Sides: - Honky Tonk Fries: these were tasty enough. That cheese sauce is not queso though. It's not right... it has like a mayo creaminess which is just weird. The seasoning were good and their baked beans were surprisingly good. - Sweet Honey Cornbread: I wanted more honey flavor to this. It was pretty plain. - Mac n Cheese: Pretty good! - Sweet Potato Casserole: Once again, personal preference came in here in a strong way. I don't really like walnuts, and this has little chunks of walnut in it. I actually originally thought the brown sugar had clumped but alas, it was a nut. If you're into walnuts and sweet potatoes... then definitely order this, you'll love it. The Dessert / Drink - Banana Pudding: Tasty! Very sweet. Their whipped cream tasted a little meringue-y, I thought there were egg whites in them. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it caught me off guard in the texture department. We enjoyed it! - Cucumber Watermelon Lemonade: Our waitress mentioned this was one of their most popular cocktails and it deserves to me. Great fresh flavor! I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but I wouldn't poopoo the idea if we were nearby. I'd probably give their non-meat plates a try, and I would definitely order that lemonade again. I could see this being a good spot to hang out with a crowd - throw some axes, drink some drinks. Atmosphere was fun.
Friendly, fun, energetic environment. A bit disappointing on the old fashion and ribs where dry. The food options are great, portions allow you to taste a bit of everything, there is room for improvement. Overall great experience
Food was barely hot. This includes the Mac and cheese, bbq beans, sweet potato casserole, the pulled pork,. The drinks were good. Our waitress was excellent, cheery, friendly. I don't think I'd be coming back though because of the chairs were so uncomfortable. Cheap metal chairs. The noise level was way too high. The metal chairs were way too noisy on the floor. And then you can hear the axe throwing everywhere inside that building. And that was extremely annoying.
BBQ chain with axe throwing and hefty portions. Came here for dinner with my family after a concert at the nearby Honda Center. There’s a free parking lot but it was pretty full so we had to circle. Reservations can be made online in advance. We split a family feast which came with brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, ribs, and chicken along with your choice of two sides and cornbread. The service was slow but nice. The food was average - I really wanted like it but the meat wasn’t that tender and the sausage was too salty. I appreciated having the option for a cucumber salad as a lighter contrast to the heavy meal. I did appreciate the large serving size as well, which provided for leftovers for multiple people the next day.
We had a 12 member team show up around 815. Most trickled in after 830 and one or two stragglers. We made a mistake, thinking 🤔 the place closed at 11... okay, no biggie. Our food orders were done to perfection, amazing chefs! The service and servers were great... totally amazing and kind 😇. We were treated like family, attentive and with a smile. The place looks great, in and out. Everything was going great... until. Now, I get it, we made the mistake on the hours. We had a member whose wife was with us and he came late due to an emergency. Around 945... they close at 930... and 4 other families were still eating while 2 at the bar came in at 935... I heard out late person knock. I let him, and informed that he was with our party and would Not be ordering and would Not be drinking. I would say the female supervisor was uncomfortably frustrated 😠. Her tone was cold and harsh... a completely opposite of the understanding staff. I would just say, that I did apologize and I did also say he would be leaving with us and Not ordering for him... Best would be to just come over, light hearted and just quietly inform me that what I did was incorrect. But no, she had to.make it loud and in front of her staff. 10 min had passed and we all left.. no harm no foul. I thank the servers the clean up crew and the cooks for their upbeat professionalism... not the supervisor 😒
Casual BBQ chain restaurant inside the Stadium Promenade plaza, located next to King's Fish House. They offer an assortment of slow smoked BBQ, Southern sides, craft beer, spirits, and more. Atmosphere is lively, loud, and relatively family-friendly, with multiple TVs featuring sports games. Seating is available via bar, high top tables, and standard tables. This location also offers axe throwing. Plaza parking is busy but plentiful. Came here on a Saturday evening and was able to grab a high top. Service was good and quick but our table wobbled badly, and most others did too. Table was also super sticky 😬 Their BBQ is soft but tends to be kinda fatty. They have their own BBQ sauces (you can also find them at most large grocery chain stores), but I personally don't like any of them. Thought their jalapeno slaw was tasty and also loved the ability to order wings with just a dry rub. Overall, a fun spot for groups but kinda pricey. Also hate that they use electronic CC readers at the table so you have to tip your waiters on the spot. Huge pet peeve of mine.
I left hungry after ordering a Carolina bbq plate, a small Mac and v cheese, very good tots. But it was a very small portion or pulled pork . Why not just include a corn bread? The sandwich was $5 less and it.... Whatever. I won't go back. Just too $$$. Corn 🌽 bread should just be dropped off like chips and salsa... But I'm wrong, i only lived in NC For a decade
We dined here on Friday, 5/2 with a party of 8 for a birthday celebration and unfortunately had a very poor experience from start to finish. While we were seated promptly for our 6pm reservation, we were told right away that our server was in a meeting with the manager and someone else would take our drink order. Our drinks arrived, but our server never came to introduce herself, and we ended up placing our food order with the original person who greeted us. From there, the experience only became more chaotic. Our food came out sporadically, items were missing or incorrect, and the person helping us disappeared. We had to flag down another employee just to find out our order hadn’t been logged properly. We didn’t receive the appropriate utensils, and no one ever followed up to check on our meal or experience. Despite being a large party, we never once met our server. By the end of the meal, we still had no idea who she was. We waited about 20 minutes for the bill before getting up to ask someone to bring it over, along with to-go boxes. For a table of 8, it was a hefty bill, and although we left a tip out of courtesy, it was hard to justify given we never actually had a server. The food itself was also mediocre, which only added to the overall disappointment.
The meat was very dry and chewy and some part was burnt. The servers were eager to take our dishes away and give unasked to-go box. We couldn’t even finish our chewy foods or drinks. Lastly, the server will stare at you uncomfortably at the table when you select the tip amount on a mobile device. I would not go back. the price wasn’t even cheap. 2 star because at least drinks were good.
Food:2, Service: 2, Atmosphere:2 The teenagers in my group approved the food but weren’t impressed and that’s the only reason I’m giving them 2 points. The brisket was dry and cool touch. The ribs were dry and served as one piece and green beans were just a soup similar to out mushed Mac & cheese. The spicy margarita not only lacked the Tahin we asked for, it lacked spiciness and most importantly, the spirit. Service was slow even though not many customers in the entire joint. Server barely checked on us, refilled drinks with water accidentally and never came back to address the issue. It took for ever for food to come out and that probably because of our server. The brisket was dry and cool to touch; the ribs were warm but dry, tough and served as one big piece, the green beans could pass for bland soup-of-the-day and the Mac & cheese was a big bowl of mush. This place has potential as cool hang out place near the Honda center, but needs attention. Spider webs above our table and mystery bowl providing shelter and oasis for the growing organism should have big a big red flag but I went against my instincts. We decided against the axe throwing since we weren’t about to spend another $120 for the 4 of us after regrettably spending $140 on a below par food. The axe throwing seemed an afterthought and wasn’t very inviting anyways.
Overall really poor experience. Good place to watch football maybe, but we waited twenty plus minutes only to not get served water or lemonade. Every table that came in after us got served first with cold food, including one dish that was sent back. Even after we said something, our server ignored us and proceeded to collect orders without getting us drinks, and we walked out after more than half an hour. Would not recommend sadly and won’t be going back.
This place was so disappointing! We heard great things about this place and came to enjoy a good time. The hostess was not friendly or polite. She sat us without saying much except that she would be back with kids menus. She never came back with menus and we sat at a table without being acknowledged for over 35 minutes!! No drinks, no apologies, and plenty of staff just walking around. When we stated we were leaving because the poor service they staff could care less! WoodRanch is more accommodating and super friendly I would recommend going there instead!
The Tri tip bbq meat was not seasoned enough and the bbq chicken was also tasteless. The only thing I like was the sausage. The awful metal chair was very uncomfortable, it hurts my back. The server was okay. The food is overpriced as well. I don’t mind to pay more if the dishes are good! 👎👎👎. I will not recommend anyone, or will I ever come back again! It was my first and last! Terrible place!!👎👎👎
I placed an order tonight and paid over $65 online. I headed over to pick up my order and they gave my order to someone else!!!! They gave it to doordash. They didn't even check who was picking up what order. This is careless and lazy.
Complete jerks. Ordered thru Uber eats and they forgot the drinks. Almost $30 and they basically told me to go kick rocks. Tamara was the rudest and most childish person I ever came across. Their mistake and Tamara told me to get in my car and come get them. Most unprofessional humans ever. See you in person in a few minutes
The food was just not as good as I was hoping. The fries were cold within a minute. The strawberry lemonade tasted fake. They really should update their menu with photos of the food. That way we know what we're ordering. Their menu does not show non-alcoholic drinks. I will not be going back
The service was wonderful. Fun atmosphere. Food looked great just didn't have enough smokey flavor. The Cross-cut fries good flavor but lukewarm. The chicken was dry. Ribs were hard to eat they did not fall apart plus tough. Pulled pork was really good. Not much of a smoked flavor in the meat. Corn bread was moist.
Horrible experience, service was awful. I had to get up and ask my server if I could grab my own beer from the bar and walk back to my table as I watched my server chat it up with her co workers and my beer had been sitting there for a few minutes. She brought the steak out with out a steak knife and after a few minutes asked if we would like a steak knive for our steak. She then proceeded to bring our sides, which were baked potatoes 5 minutes after we got our ribs and steak. The manager came over and I mentioned that everything should come out together and she brushed me off by saying that, “that’s the way we work here.” Horrible experience! Won’t ever be back. Go to Lucille’s instead or Texas Roadhouse, you get better food for your money. Thanks for your bad service Jenna C.
Waited at the hosts stand for 7 mins told us to seat ourselves. Then no one came up to us after another 5 mins so we walked out atrocious…
