We love Woody's. Great food, good service, football on the TVs. They have a great little kids menu if you have the children. Our oldest son got The Big Cruiser burger which is a huge burger. It was as big as his head!

One of OCs best diner experiences. Greeted by great staff and seated in very comfortable booth. Food portions are very generous and delicious. The breakfast burger is a must try. The omelets here are also grade A. A bit of a line when we left Sunday at 11amish. Would come back for seconds any day of the week.

If you are craving for american breakfast or brunch, this is the place! I highly recommend the popeye skillet if you like egg potato and ham in one dish just as I do :) I liked their spacious parking lot too!

Great and delicious foods!! I had the Spininila (I think that's what it's called lol) omelette w/ A side of cottage cheese, and 1 pancakes w/cinnamon, butter and honey 🍯!!!! SoOo Good! The bite over here @ Woody's Diner is worth it and cost a little more than Norms Restaurant but it's definitely better than having paper pancakes at Norms lol. Great eats and I think it's a great and perfectly good idea to go here @ this restaurant for breakfast w/family and friends If you haven't already checked this place out!!! 💪

My husband likes diced ham and eggs. He requested it and they refused to make it stating they don’t do that. Why? How hard is it to do? It’s just scrambled eggs with chopped up ham in it or diced ham any other restaurants we’ve gone to more than willing will do it for him.

Went in to watch Thursday night football and have some food, but they didn't have the game and I'm still not sure why. Food is always pretty good and plentiful, and the staff are always helpful and polite.

First time here. Even though it's a " diner" it had a more upscale feel. The portion sizes were decent and food quality and taste were very good. Lots of choices on the menu to satisfy everyone in your party. Service was very good without having to all for my water to be refilled.

So,,we've eaten breakfast here dozens of times and always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service but on this Saturday evening about 530pm, we tried dinner. The service and food were as good as always but the atmosphere and meal was ruined by the strong odor of cleaning solvent. We will try it again during the day but won't come back in the evening.

For the longest, I have seen Woody's forever, all over Orange Co. but the moons never aligned until tonight --- and I finally got the chance to go in! After a couple minute wait because of the 'Wait to be seated sign,' I ask my Mexican host who greets me with a welcoming smile, if I can sit at the bar and he says, "Sure, I'll follow you." GREAT! As we approach the empty bar, I see the young female barkeep and I see her facial expression and I playfully say, "Just when you got everything clean, here I come to mess it up." No smile --- and her response was so bland I can't remember WHAT it was! 🤔 I sit down and I tell her I have never been to a Woody's before and I am excited! But mainly I want to watch the Lakers/Clippers game, and would she put it on for me! She trys and while she is pushing various buttons, I tell her, "Dang, do you need a college degree to work that thing!" She gives up and says she is going to have one of the guys fix it! And I tease her, and say, "C'mon, are you telling me it is still a Man's 🌎 after all!" No response, so I stop being comedic. She then asks what I would like and I tell her I am in no rush because I want to watch the entire game which ends at 10! She tells me they close at 9 --- and it is 8:10! WHAT!? 😲 So sadly, I tell her I don't want to 'WOOF DOWN" food so I order a coke and an appetizer of 1/2 fries/rings! I quietly watch the game! After the first quarter, the game is good, the onion rings, not so. But barkeep now starts to engage! But that time has passed! And what I JUST TOTALLY DESPISE is when a bill is placed down before I get my meal! JUST TOTAL DISREPECT IN MY OPINION! Especially when I SPECIFICALLY say how long I plan on staying! So at 8:55, barkeep is no where around. The bill is like $13 and change so I lay down a $20. Then the second worst thing I hate to hear is . . . "Would you like change?" Uhh no, I plan on leaving an almost 50% gratuity when I can't even watch the entire game! So then she does give me change and get this . . . it's some coins a one and a five! Well, she gambled with that one --- so take a guess what I left . . . the one and change or the five!? #youalreadyknow

Wanted to love this cute place, but this had to be an off day. Two entrees, both of us only ate a few bites. I had huevos rancheros. The salsa tasted stale … or bad… like it had been sitting in an open can for days. Entire dish was off. And I love huevos 😒. Even the Diet Coke was off. Service was good. Parking good. Place was clean. So a few wins.

The Curious Critique - TOP 5% GOOGLE REVIEWER

This little diner sits off the main Chapman Ave drag very close to Old Towne Orange. The vibe is good and the food is great… So why the 3 stars… Easy, service and fees. 1 Star reduced based on very slow service with no real enthusiasm or desire for great customer service. Diners are known for their delicious greasy spoon, red-eye eats served with amazing old school classic diner pleasantries. This location, unfortunately failed there. The second reduction came from the underhanded “ 3% surcharge “ put in VERY FINE print on the 4th… YES, fourth page of the menu… Stating they charge this on the entire check “ to help offset increased labor cost due to new local, state and federal ordinances as well as delivery surcharges from vendors”. Thank God for CA Senate Bill 478.. This will STOP these shady practices from being “hidden” or a surprise to most people in CA. With that being said. Waiting 5 min for a spoon to stir your coffee. Another 6 min before you can eat, because you didn’t get silverware to eat with. Says a lot about a locations service. The food.. GREAT! loved it… But the service and FEES killed the vibe and experience. Not a return visit anytime soon for this restaurant.

I came here for lunch tried one of their lunch special items for around $10ish I got a turkey melt came with fries and a coke slightly sugary with not enough bubbles in soda (i.e carbon dioxide). Maybe I'm not a turkey melt kind of guy I just didn't like it. The bread was very garlicky just didn't taste good. Should have tried the burger special. The staff was the best part they're were very attentive. I will consider trying this spot again.
