Just visited Hyderabad Cafe and had a fantastic experience! We ordered Mirchi Bajji, Mysore Bonda, and Gobi Manchurian as starters—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. For the main course, we tried the Chicken Biryani, and it absolutely hit the spot—aromatic, well-cooked, and loaded with authentic flavors. The food quality was top-notch, the spice level was just right, and the portions were generous. Great value for money and highly recommended for anyone craving authentic South Indian and Hyderabadi flavors!

Literally tastes like India! We dined in and ordered Paneer Tikka, Dal Tadka, and Idli Sambar, and took Medu Vada to go. Everything was delicious, and they made it perfectly spicy as requested. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was quick. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We also tried the Mango Lassi, which we highly recommend. They use vegetable oil for cooking and butter for ghee

The proprietor of three eateries in the Horizon West district—Naan Stop, The French Cafe, and Evoo - Windermere—has unveiled their latest culinary gem: Hyderabad Cafe Desi Eatery, nestled in the southern reaches of the Dr. Phillips area (the upcoming Town Center at O-Town West). Though the restaurant commenced operations in January, its current menu is in the midst of a soft launch. Despite this, it boasts a diverse array of offerings, spanning Southern Indian, Northern Indian, and Indo-Chinese fare, including the crown jewel of Hyderabad in India’s cuisine—the renowned Biryani! The restaurant decor is a contemporary, immaculately curated space adorned with wallpaper depicting idyllic scenes from the villages surrounding Hyderabad. I understand the owner is from this city. I ventured with my wife and mother. Our dining experience was a symphony of flavors. We ordered classic dishes like Chili Paneer, Chili Chicken, Gobi (Cauliflower) Manchurian, Malai Kofta, Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan, and Bullet Naan. Rice accompanied the curries. I was particularly impressed by the nuanced flavor profiles of the Chili Paneer and Chili Chicken, each expertly complementing its star ingredient. Meanwhile, the Gobi Manchurian boasted a delightful crunch and was served in its intended dry form—a refreshing departure from the soupy rendition commonly found elsewhere. The Malai Kofta and Palak Paneer curries were a testament to culinary finesse, striking the perfect balance of spices and flavors even when ordered at a medium heat level. The Malai Kofta, in particular, delighted with a burst of cardamom that gracefully subsided, allowing the other spices to shine through. True to tradition, the naans were a revelation—fluffy yet impeccably crisp, serving as the ideal accompaniment to the rich curries. With eager anticipation, we await the full unveiling of the menu. We were informed it will take another 2 months or so.

Had masala dosa and goat biryani, both were amazing and the service was efficient and courteous. This is a hidden gem that is worth finding! If you have never tried southern Indian food, then head over to Hyderabad Cafe.

Tried Indian food for the first time, and wow—I’m obsessed!!! This place was amazing from start to finish. The service was great; our server was super nice and attentive, which made the experience even better. I started with a samosa, and it was delicious. The filling was perfectly seasoned and completely vegetarian. The sauces that came with it were both great, but I personally liked the tamarind sauce more than the mint one—it just had a better flavor to me. The samosa had a little bit of a kick, but not too much, just enough to add some spice without overpowering the taste. For my main dish, I got the butter chicken with garlic naan and rice. Let me just say—the butter chicken was ridiculously good, so rich and flavorful. And the naan? Easily my favorite part. No judgment here for eating with my hands because that’s definitely the way to go! To top it all off, I had a mango lassi, which was the perfect combo with everything. If you’ve never had Indian food before, you need to try this place. The flavors were incredible, and it completely changed my idea of what Indian food tastes like. Definitely coming back!!!! :)

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, enhanced by lovely music that creates a great ambience. The food was excellent. For starters, we had the vegetable samosas, which were crispy and full of flavor. For the main course, we ordered the Telangana chicken and Vindaloo chicken, with garlic naan and rice. The Telangana chicken was delicious. The Vindaloo chicken was a bit too sour for our taste and some of the potato pieces were slightly undercooked. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and flavorful. The service was outstanding. The staff checked on us regularly and the food and drinks arrived quickly.

Wow, this place was great. I don’t frequent Indian food restaurants very often as prices are near the top of my general restaurant budget, but this is probably the best I’ve had anywhere. The flavors here are wonderful. Every bite of a dish introduced something new that I just enjoyed. The space is average for a strip center restaurant but adequate for several guests. The atmosphere was a bit contemporary with wallpaper that infers this is a chain (later confirmed by internet search). But don’t let that stop you from going as the food and service were very good. Highly recommend if you like Indian (Hyderabad influenced) food.

Visited a couple of times for dinner when we were in Orlando for a family trip. Positives - Staff are good. Good seating area. Decorated walls with decor sheets that had caricatures and paintings about India and Hyderabad. Most of the food was great as well. We ordered chicken dum biryani, Tandoor Shrimp, Naans, and Dal tadka. Malai kabab was decent but not great. The yogurt marination and tandoor cooking time weren't enough, but it wasn't terrible either. Panner Tikka had some food coloring IMO which we are not a big fan of. I would be damned if it was kashmiri chilly powder that gave the color. Negative - I gave 3 stars on Atmosphere as one of the bathrooms had broomsticks, an oil container, and half of the space was used as storage room. It wasn't clean either. I hope the owner notices this and cleans it up.

We went on a Wednesday evening at around 5:30 pm, so yet to see their prime time customer service. We loved their food so far that we ordered. Masakali Paneer has no food color. They used their own home made spice which is not salty: Gobi Manchurian was beautifully cut that we don't usually see in restaurants here. Egg Hakka noodles was bang on, the way it is made in India. Ghee Karam Idli and both the chutneys had taste and flavor as they are.We loved their fresh lime soda as they didnt use Sprite. We will come back to try your other dishes. Thanks for the lovely experience!

Great food and ambience. Tried their tiffins (idli, ghee dosa, chicken 65 dosa), loved every one of them. Chutneys and sambar were the stars of the show, great taste. Staff were very nice and friendly.

We visited Hyderabad Cafe for the first time. The food was excellent, and the service was amazing. What caught my but attention is the owner, even when he doesnt need to, he personally worked with the staff, giving the food to the tables and taking care of customers. When we wanted to make a change to our order, one of the servers initially denied it, but he made sure we got exactly what we wanted, which was very sweet of him. The food handler was knowledgeable about the dishes and very friendly with our kids. My kids loved the dosa's and idlies here. They have found their favorite spot. We will definitly return for more. 5 stars to the team and the owner.

The Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani here is outstanding. The rice was perfectly cooked and the chicken was tender, but what really stood out was the spice—it tasted exactly like authentic Hyderabadi style. We also tried the Egg Dum Biryani, which was just as impressive and full of flavor. It’s rare to find a place that gets the Dum technique so right. Truly awesome food that reminds me of home.

Hyderabad Café instantly took me back home the moment I walked in. The ambiance is absolutely amazing — from the décor to the aroma of fresh spices, it truly feels like you’re dining in the heart of Hyderabad. The vegetarian options were outstanding — flavorful, authentic, and perfectly prepared. Every dish tasted like it was made with love and attention to detail. What makes this place even more special is the incredible all-ladies team that runs the show. It’s inspiring to see such a strong, polite, and respectful group of women managing everything so gracefully. Their hospitality and warmth made the whole experience even more memorable. If you’re craving real Hyderabadi flavors with great service and a cozy, homely atmosphere — Hyderabad Café is a must-visit!

I visited this Indian restaurant today and I had a really great experience. Ammu helped us, and she was amazing. Her communication, her smile, and the way she talked to us made us feel very comfortable. The ambiance, music, and overall atmosphere were perfect. We ordered Hyderabadi Biryani, Chicken 65, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Curry — everything tasted so delicious. Really happy with the service and food. I would definitely recommend this place and visit again!

family of 14 came to Orlando for the parks, and after an epic day at Epic Universe, we were all starving on the drive back home. We luckily saw Hyderabad Cafe and stopped in—what a happy accident! The Veg Keema Biryani had tasty veggie mince mixed with fragrant spiced rice. Paneer Butter Masala was smooth and rich with soft paneer in tomato gravy. Veg Kadai had nice spicy peppers and onions, garlic butter naan was soft and garlicky, veg uttappam was crispy with fresh veggies on top, and the chocolate pastry was a sweet treat to finish. Portions were big enough for our group, prices were good, staff was friendly, and the place was clean and comfy. Perfect spot for real Indian food near Disney Springs!

We had an outstanding meal here! We started with the Garlic Naan which was the best we had ever had, so we decided to get the Bread Basket which had all sorts of varieties of Naan to try. Then we got a Chikoo Shake, delicious and refreshing. Chicken Biryani (pictured) was really big and great. Chicken Vindaloo was tasty. A friend of mine that just came in from out of the country from India took me to this restaurant. It was only my second time at a restaurant that served Indian food. The curry chicken was absolutely amazing. Then we had miniature eggplants that were really spicy but they were also very good. Then we had another dish that had chicken and a bunch of rice but the chicken was hidden in the dish and I don't remember the name of it but it was very good. Our server was very very friendly and also very attentive to our needs. I am new to the Orlando area so I'm always looking for a great place to eat. If you're looking for authentic Indian food in Orlando, Hyderabad Café is a must-visit! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and made with so much care. We started with the Lollipop Chicken crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. It was the ideal way to kick off the meal. The Chicken Starter was also delicious, offering just the right amount of spice to get your appetite going. We ordered the bread basket, which included plain naan, butter naan, garlic naan, and tandoori roti each one freshly baked and perfect for dipping into the curries. The variety and freshness were amazing! The Cheese Dosa was a fun twist on a classic South Indian dish crispy on the outside with melty cheese inside, comforting and flavorful. The curries and lentils we had were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted homemade and authentic, with bold spices and rich textures. Overall, Hyderabad Café offers a warm atmosphere, generous portions, and truly authentic Indian cuisine. I’ll definitely be back!

American married to Indian from Hyderabad area. We stopped to have dinner after going to Seaworld. Not far from park. Atmosphere was nice and clean. I had butter chicken mild. It was delicious. It was perfect spice level, a little spicy but not too much. It was better than any butter chicken I've had in a long time. The Butter Naan was also good. My husband got the mutton biryani, medium. He said it was spicy the way he liked it. He thought flavor was good and made how he liked. We also ordered Tandoori chicken, medium. It came out sizzling. Very good flavor. Was also spicy. Family owned business. Owner was on site and very friendly. Servers were very attentive. Reasonable prices and good menu. We will be back. Very happy.

My wife and I came here for dinner tonight, and it was excellent! We got the Chicken Korma and Saag Paneer, both of which were great. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the staff were nice. The owner was walking about the restaurant checking in with people, and he gave us some Naan on the house, which was delicious. We had an amazing experience at Hyderabad Cafe. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was how welcoming and helpful the staff were. We don’t eat Indian food very often, and they took the time to help us pick dishes and explain what everything was. We ended up trying the chicken tikka masala, naan bread, and several appetizers, and everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken tikka masala was rich and flavorful, and the naan was fresh and perfect for dipping. The whole place felt very homey and cozy, and you can tell the owners really care about the experience they create for guests. They even offered us complimentary tea, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything was also incredibly clean and well kept. If you’re in Orlando and want to try something new or explore Indian cuisine, I highly recommend stopping by. We’ll definitely be back!

Purchased delivery via UE. I'm revising my review for them on that site as well. Myself and another ordered their CTM special. The food was delicious but what I know now as prematurely, was that our order was not packaged as 2 separate meals but as family style? We received 3 orders rice in 1 large box and the 2 bowls of the marmalade. The bowl we opened to split between 2 plates had truly, barely anything but 12 chicken bits, a few onions and 2 peppers. So, we didn't write a negative review. Upon eating obvious leftovers, the 2nd bowl? Was FILLED with all 3 ingredients brimming! So, we very much APOLOGIZE for previous review. That said to prospective customers, The food is amazing and leftovers were even better! Portions are very good and you will not go hungry! To establishments, please remember when sending take out, please, send each out as a separate dinner? As for my personal example...Im moving and and all my cutlery, dishes and so on...are packed...on the truck...had to tear rice box and several other maneuvers then blessedly found a spoon and fork...was not supposed to be this hard...please, please...no family style...thank you

Best indian restaurant i have ever visited. Great food and beautiful ambience. We had the small balls called punugulu with peanut sauce and coconut sauce and also a red sauce which were delicious. Also to mention the biryani, its a bit spicy for me which i was already made aware of but i wanted to try it and damn i had to ask for an extra cup of their yogurt sauce. It has the aroma of spices which hit the spot. As a foodie i cant stop praising the food. Overall delicious food with good service. Definitely coming back for more..

Paneer curry is superb But when comes to vegetarian options we order chilli paneer, paneer is supposed to be fried but they added it directly with sauces and we felt not cooked well. Gobi appetizer is average and finally coming to pulav rice which was offered was over cooked. In General Hyderabad Cafe is a good and must place to visit to enjoy our Delicious South Indian recipes, i hope chef can have a look at some vegetarian dishes and modify them.

Nice little Indian Restaurant. Decor was fresh, and Funky! Service was good! Take masala was soooo good!! Full of flavor and perfect spice! Samosas were huge, cricket and filled to perfection!!! My only complaint was they did not offer a lunch menu, so it is a little more pricy than other local Indian restaurants. For that reason I would save this place for dinner

Restaurant is nice. Food is very delicious. Chicken tikka Masala ( not pictured) was amazing. Shrimp pictured on cast iron were a little over cooked but had good flavor. Dosa was also very delicious and all the sauces elevated the flavor of the dosa. The service is very mid. I had to ask the waitress to take my order, bring water and bring the check. They dont come by at all you literally have to wave them down every time and I am a very patient person.

Hyderabad Cafe recently opened up in the new O-Town west development and it’s a treat to have a great new Indian restaurant in the area. The decor is a bit different than most of the other Indian restaurants in the area, but I appreciate that it’s more casual, bright and open feeling. Service was very prompt and attentive even with a big party dining at the same time. The menu is pretty broad with most of the Indian staples and some things I hadn’t seen before. We started with the veg samosas which were very flavorful and really enjoyed the chicken biriyani and butter chicken as well. The naan basket didn’t include all the flavors listed on the menu but it was a very healthy portion for the price. Prices were a bit high compared to other options in the area, but the portion size made it a better value. I was disappointed that they didn’t have fountain drinks and no iced tea - getting a few cans of soda will bump up the price a decent amount. Overall a great experience and I will be back!

Service is absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff that hosted us like family. Food is very tasty! Punugulu, chutneys, mirchi bajji and Irani chai reminded us of home. Karampodi chicken a suggestion by the host is super tasty! Chicken lollipop was great! Gave 4 star for food just because of biryani that wasn’t fully upto the high expectations set by the starters.

The food was decent, but service was slow, perhaps expected during busy times. I was disappointed with my dum mutton biryani; after a 20-minute wait, they replaced it with mutton fried biryani. It finally arrived another 20 minutes later. It was basically briyani rice with some fried mutton (usually served as an appetizer). The rice was fine, but it didn't taste like a proper mutton briyani. Additionally, the slow service and the ridiculous 20% service charge for a group of 7 felt unfair.

I had high hopes for Hyderabad Cafe, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype—especially when it comes to authenticity and flavor. I mainly ordered North Indian dishes and a dosa, and honestly, everything tasted quite bland. The dosa was just okay, but the real disappointment came with the North Indian curry, which they messed up the first time. When I pointed it out, they took it back and clearly just added some coloring to the same gravy and brought it back out. That was pretty disappointing and felt careless. The biryani? Super dry and overloaded with biryani masala—like, where are the actual flavors? It felt like they just dumped a spice packet in and called it a day. I’ve seen this place rated around 4 stars, and I truly don’t understand how. We make better-tasting food at home. On a positive note, the ambience was actually great—bright, clean, and welcoming. Service was okay; the staff did their part in terms of taking and bringing out orders, but nothing stood out. Overall, if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food, I’d suggest staying away from this place. There are far better restaurants in the area. The quality just isn’t there.

We have dined for decades in Indian restaurants but the style of cooking in this restaurant is much too spicy for us.They only provide dishes starting with medium spicy and going spicier from there. The ambience is basic, at best-no frills.

This restaurant was nice and the food was average but the mysore bonda was literally uncooked in the inside… That was fine. And worst of all, we ordered VEGETARIAN egg biriyani and found pieces of mutton in it. We are a vegetarian family, so this was terrible for us. However, what was even worse, was that when they took it into the kitchen to examine, they actually replaced it with pieces of gobi and said everything was fine. How we knew they frauded us was when we found more pieces in the plate and took it apart. Though my family is veg, I eat some meat, and when I tried it, it tasted and felt like mutton. They compensated this experience with ‘free food’ but we ended up paying for that too… We even payed for the mysore bonda which made outraged me. Overall, the atmosphere was ok as it was cold but colorful, the service was average because some waiters were very nice while others lied to our faces, and the food was below average as I explained in detail above. At the end, my family and I left in a bad mood. I do not recommend this place if you are a pure vegetarian.

Very disappointing experience. If I could give a rating in minus, I absolutely would. We ordered Puri Khurma but were served aloo sabzi that is typically served with dosa instead. When we pointed this out to the manager, instead of correcting the mistake, they simply watered down the same dish and served it back to us. The food tasted bland, watery, and completely wrong for what we ordered. To make matters worse, when we decided to leave, we were forced to pack the food and take it along, even though we had already paid for it and did not want it. Poor food quality, lack of accountability, and unprofessional service. Definitely not recommended.

Was served Aloo Masala (Masala dosa’s aloo) in the name of rich kurma curry, when mentioned they bought the same thing but watered down - bland taste. Left without eating, rude management.Vada tasted exactly like fish, not sure if they’re using the same oil to fry everything.
