Tori Tori is generally liked for its cozy atmosphere and tasty food. However, some customers have experienced poor service due to overcrowding and understaffing, including long wait times and inattentive staff. Mandatory tipping is also a concern.

Opinions de Tori Tori Orlando
I was very impressed with this place. Everything we tried was delicately flavored, and the meats, both chicken and beef, were incredibly tender and melted in your mouth. I could taste the smokiness and perfectly blended spices. I loved that the portions are smaller, which makes it easy to try a variety of dishes from the menu. One thing I didn’t like was how loud it was inside and outside. The self-seating was a little frustrating as well at first, but it was absolutely worth it and added to the overall experience. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Gimme more Tori Tori!!! One of my Orlando musts! So amazing, the food is fresh and delicious. I loved it, in order of my favorites, I’d pick the gyoza, crab dip, chicken thighs, chicken meatballs, shishito peppers, shrimp, and lamb chops. I am picky on my lamb chops and that is the one thing I would not order again. A little gamey for me. I have been for both dinner and for happy hour. I suggest getting there right when they open if you can because that place gets packed for dinner.
Absolutely loved the vibe at Tori Tori. It can be hard to get a table, but that’s because the place is known for its chill atmosphere and great energy. The staff behind the bar were amazing—friendly, attentive, and still smiling even when the place was packed. The food is excellent no matter what you order and priced really well. It’s a perfect spot to meet up and start your night out or to end it the right way. Definitely worth the wait.
Tori Tori is by far the best upscale bar I’ve visited. The drink menu offers classic cocktails, but has a fabulous list of unique, in-house created, mixes that were phenomenal. Dalton was our Bartender and he was friendly and intuitive about which drinks to recommend. The São Paulo was an indescribably different and delicious beverage. If you like coconut, the Shinobi was also bomb and very popular amongst the crowd. Matthew let us try a seasonal punch that was festive and yummy, and they both helped us decide on snacks, which were to die for. Portions are small, so order multiples if you’re hungry. The Chimichuri steak skewers and Curry Meatballs were everything. Before we left, Gregg introduced himself and was friendly and funny and helped top off a wonderful experience. You can tell this space is well managed and that the bartenders enjoy each other and the work they do. 20/10, a must if you’re looking for cocktails that will blow your mind.
Tori Tori was really, really good. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but the quality and overall experience mostly justify it. People were already lining up right at opening, which says a lot. Must-try: the soy garlic butter mushrooms — absolutely incredible and worth the hype on their own. The aesthetic and vibe are great, and every single server we interacted with was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. One small downside: the bathroom could definitely use an update. It stood out compared to how polished everything else is. Overall, a great spot for a special night or foodie experience, especially if you appreciate thoughtful dishes and strong service. Tori Tori is always such a vibe! My sister and I went on a Friday, and since it’s first come, first serve seating (no reservations), we tried to get there right when they opened. We arrived at 5:15 p.m., just 15 minutes after opening, and the place was already packed. Thankfully, we were able to grab a spot near the bar. Parking can be a little tight, but they do have an overflow lot across the street in the back, which helps. Ordering is simple and casual you can either scan the QR code at your table or use the paper slip in the cup to write down what you want and the quantity, then bring it to the bar to place both food and drink orders. You can either open a tab or pay as you go with card or cash. The food and drinks never disappoint here. It’s definitely one of my go-to spots after work, especially since they offer a solid happy hour during the week. This time, we ordered garlic fried rice, lamb chops, blue crab dip, chicken meatballs, tomato, shrimp, beef, and pork belly. Everything was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. Tori Tori is a great tapas-style spot to unwind, grab amazing bites, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Tried this place with my partner and honestly some of the best food we’ve had. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth, all the meats were very well seasoned, the chimichurri tasted great, and the crab fried rice was amazing. The bartenders here are super helpful, friendly, and the service is quick. Would definitely go again if I’m in the area!
I’ve been here several times and they’ve never let me down. The vibe is dark and stylish, making it perfect for a date or just to chill with friends before hitting the club… as a pregame spot, it works perfectly. 🍸 The Espresso Martini de añejo is excellent, definitely one of my favorites on the menu. 🙌🏻 Personally, I like coming on weekdays since weekends get pretty busy, but the energy is always cool. I’ve tried different bartenders and each one has their own touch!! always delivering solid drinks. Hope they keep those standards high, because honestly this place has become one of the best options in Orlando. 🔥
We honestly just stopped by to check it out and ended up staying longer than planned. The place feels cozy and relaxed, not trying too hard. The food was really good — the fried chicken was crispy and full of flavor, and the lamb karuni lollipops were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The drinks were solid, and the staff was super friendly and easygoing, made us feel comfortable right away. Overall just a really good experience, I’d definitely come back.
There is a reason this place always has a line out front and four straight years of Michelin rating. It's a delightful experience in both taste and feeling. Lovely staff and really reasonable prices for the quality you're receiving. Totally worth the hype!
Love love love this bar! I’m going to bring all my friends here when they’re in town! Super trendy, great food options, friendly service, and amazing ambiance. I love the Japanese influence and the tiny plates are fun to try with friends. Warning- the screwballs were VERY strong lol. Can’t complain about heavy hands.
This place has Michelin 4 years in a row for a reason. Everything (food and drinks) was delicious. Highlight dishes: - crab fried rice - blue crab dip - grilled shishito peppers (yes it was so good) - grilled king oyster mushrooms - grilled corn - Nikko Nikko drink
This place is great and the food is amazing.I got the lamb karubi lollipop and the blue crab and corn croquettes both were presented well and taste great. The bartender Matt was nice and helpful.
Food was good and the restaurant is a vibe! I enjoyed it, but I do believe it is a bit overhyped. The wait time to get in was 30 mins for only 2 people and we had to order and sit at bar which made it a bit hard to chat. The food is small plates so after food and drinks our tab was kinda high, and we still were still a bit hungry. Overall great date night for vibes/bar but not a dinner place.
Absolutely spectacular dining experience! The food is creative, refined, and worthy of its 4 Michelin stars. Every dish is perfectly executed with incredible flavors and presentation. Outstanding service and an unforgettable atmosphere. Truly world-class!
The food was delicious and a needed escape from theme park food for us. Everything was deliciously seasoned and perfectly grilled. My favorites were the scallion and chicken skin yakitori. The only one I wouldn’t recommend is the pork belly kushiyaki - it was too lean/dry for my liking. My only complaint is that the place is confusingly self-serve seating. When we arrived, all the tables were taken, and it was pretty unclear what we should do - circle the restaurant and wait around for someone to leave? Luckily we spotted a table just as some people were leaving and got seated.
Kyla was an amazing bartender and server! She suggested a great selection of food and drink items. Tori Tori was a blast and we can’t wait to come back!
Arrived at Tori Tori at 5pm on the dot and there was already a line before the restaurant opened so just be aware on a busy day. Casey was our bartender, he’s phenomenal. We ordered his suggestions, crab fried rice is delicious and try all the skewers. We loved the Beef + Salt. Ordered a spicy margarita, delicious!!
I had a colleague of mine recommend this restaurant for dinner for us one night. I had no idea what to expect. I enjoy the restaurants where you can order at the bar your entrées and drinks. Disclaimer, I don’t mind being waited on, but I feel like you can cater your own experience that way and that exactly what Tori Tori does. However, you can get NA drink refills at the table. We came here on a Tuesday night and it was POPPING. It has a great social atmosphere but is not overwhelming or loud. It was seat yourself when we arrived and you use a QR code to scan for the menu and place your order at the bar. We sat outside where there’s a nice covered patio area. The pimento cheese and Chicharrones were good. To be honest, it wasn’t my favorite and there was some leftover that I didn’t take back to the hotel. The pimento cheese is delicious as is, but the Chicharrones were a little bland. The Shoyu Quail Eggs were delicious. I’ve never had them before, and I would describe them as light and creamy. The chili flakes on top are great enhancement with flavor, but the textures did not complement well (coarse and almost too crunchy). You have to try the skewered pork belly and PLEASE do yourself a favor and try the Demkota-Elite Beef (GF). I had both options with salt and the chimichurri, but please try the chimichurri with the pork belly. I may have gone to heaven and came back for a brief moment. The bar food options I selected were the Wagyu Imperial Gyoza and the CRAB FRIED RICE. Yes. CRAB. FRIED. RICE. it was amazing. The zest and tang from the lemon was low key magic. The gyoza was excellent as well. The best part is, I ate all of this food and then some. It is that good. All for about $50 with a drink and tip?
One of my first times at Tori Tori, I was impressed with the drinks and loved its fun vibes. I decided to visit Tori Tori again when my friend was in town, and it is definitely on our list to go back. My friend and I went on a busy Saturday night. We waited about 5 minutes before the security let us in. The aroma of the grill when you first enter was phenomenal. Our wait for our food and appetizers was not quite long (about 10 to 15 minutes). The waiters had a hard time finding us since we sat outside. The bartenders are also very quick and super patient. The bartender who took my order was patient and explained to me the menu. The drinks were great. It was not too strong or sweet. It had a great balance and went great with the appetizers. Just a warning, after a certain time all guests must be 21 with a valid ID.
I rarely give 5 stars review but this place deserve every star of them . Let’s start with the atmosphere which is very different than your typical Resturant setting , it’s lively in a cosmopolitan setting. The variety and quality of the food make it deserve the Michelin title , the speed of serving is second to none . My favorite was the beef chamachori.
My first time to one of the Michelin awarded restaurant, this restaurant literally have a long queue after 8pm. Be prepared to wait for a table if you’re planning to eat great food. All the food we tried were amazing and price wise also affordable. Taste is amazing. If you’re in Orlando area and a great foodie this one is a must try!
Our favorite place in Orlando to eat! You order off a paper and the food comes out as it’s ready! The LAMB CHOPS were so delicious that we ordered another round. By far the most unexpectedly delicious lamb chops on the planet. The tzatziki-flavored garnish turned into a dipping sauce. 😏 The Brussel sprouts were flavorful. The crab fried rice was amazing! Shishito peppers were cooked to perfection. My husband liked the corn but just didn’t get a chance to try it. We thought we ordered the croquettes but we were wrong. We ordered them late and they came right out!!!! 🤯 The. Drinks. Were. Delectable. 🍸We are 100% coming back! Enjoy the pics. I tried to capture as many angles as possible but you don’t get the full effect unless you’re there. P.S. All booths were full so we sat at the bar. I’ve heard that if you want a booth, you need to get there early. We were satisfied with our seating at the bar, but I can see how someone wanting a more private space could envy the booths!
Holy cow this spot was absolutely delicious. Incredible cocktails and really rich flavors for the yakitori we tried. Each skewer was perfectly seasoned and had the perfect kiss of charcoal for a full flavor. Went around 6pm on a Saturday night. The line by the door moved very quickly, but it can be a little stressful once you get inside on busier days. You seat yourself (easier said than done during busy times) and then you order at the bar. They give you a number and your food will be brought to wherever you’re sitting or standing. Timing worked out, we were able to grab a seat and everyone we interacted with was really friendly.
I'm not a bar person but I will go anywhere that has good food and TORI TORI Is very well known for their food not just their drinks! Specializing in modern Japanese izakaya style dishes and small plates you can try many things and not get full. Toritori being a play on "yakitori" was my main focus, I only ordered 5 different yakitori. My friends who have been before ordered the fried chicken appetizer and we also got the brussel sprouts Before I get into the food I wanted to note this place opens in the evening and it's first come first serve. There MAY be a line out the door depending on the day of the week, if all the tables are full, you just have to stand around and wait for one to open up and snag it. We got really lucky and didn't wait too long. Also. Gets very crowded, very loud inside so keep that in mind as well. Ranking all the dishes I tried the oyster mushroom yakitori were incredible. Just with salt. They were charred and full of flavor it was amazing just how good a simple mushroom was. The brussel sprout okonomiyaki my friend got was amazing. Probably the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. It feels silly that the 3 best things I tried were all vegetarian. But they were. I loved the pork belly Tori. They were crispy but also melted in my mouth,The chicken thighs and fried chicken were super tender and juicy, top it with some lemon and its perfect. The beef and salt yakitori were good but it wasn't anything mind blowing. Moving on to drinks, I don't drink alcohol but they make a beautiful assortment of craft cocktails at the bar and our bartender was wonderful. I asked for a fruity mocktail and he hooked me up. Beautiful large bar. Lots of seating. Good music. Lots of people dress up and it's a fun place to people watch. All of the bussers were working hard and keeping the restaurant and table cleared on rotation rapidly. It can be a little pricey but it's worth it. My only qualm is silly. The lighting in here is ROUGH for cute pictures with friends or even nice food pictures. Low low lighting. Flash makes everything worse. You just gotta hope for the best.
Tori Tori offers an exceptional dining experience! The crab fried rice, Brussels sprouts, and lamb chops were exquisite. As a seasoned traveler from New York who seeks out Michelin-starred establishments worldwide, I can confidently say Tori Tori is worth the visit. The cool atmosphere and chill music add to the vibe, creating a memorable dining ambiance. And Solomon, one of their outstanding employees, deserves special recognition for his exceptional service.
Chanced upon this gem of a place after a long day spent at the parks and so happy we found this place. Their crab fried rice is a MUST, it is garlicky and crabby and just so so yummy. I am not a drinker, and I was happy to learn they offer mocktails on their menu. Just tell the bartender your preferences and they will make a custom non-alcoholic drink for you. The mocktails here are the best I've ever had, and they take them very seriously. I had one bartender make a drink, he sniffed it when he was done and decided that it wasn't up to his standards. He proceeded to make a new drink, and it was DELICIOUS. Had 3 mocktails when I was there, each of them unique and tasted amazing.
Decent yakitori, the meat selection has no organs which I would say the menu is not a complete one for a typical yakitori establishment. All items we ordered are pretty decent except the chicken skin (kawa) that's deep-fried rather than charcoal-grilled that I was disappointed. If I knew I would not have ordered. The highballs (Toki and Umeshu) are nice. The moon boots suggested by bartender was good.
This was our first time here, there's usually a line out the door! The restaurant and bar are beautiful. We were seated at the bar immediately and handed menus. Everything we ordered was amazing! The only disappointment was our extremely rude bartender. This being our first experience, we did not know to place your order, you fill out a card. She could have told us that when we sat down, and given us the cup with cards and pencils (located near barware that I wouldn't have known we could touch). Other than that, it was still a wonderful evening and delicious food.
This is my husband and I’s go-to spot! The bartenders are always so friendly, the service is great, and the food is excellent. Some of our favorite dishes are the lamb, chicken skin, grilled mushrooms, shishito peppers, grilled tomato, mushroom with garlic butter sauce, avocado, and the crab fried rice—everything is always delicious. The drinks here are just as good! Go Cry in the Walk-In and Saturn are our top picks. Plus, they have a happy hour worth checking out. Highly recommend this place—it never disappoints!
We love this place. Atmosphere is nice, food is pretty good, but what makes it different is people that work there. We always sit at the bar, so I can only speak about bartenders, but they are one of the reasons we keep coming back. Especially Casey and Cassidy. They are always super nice. For me the most important part is how I am being treated, more so than the great food :) Drinks are super delicious and very consistent! Can’t wait to come back.
Tori Tori is a unique and fun experience that is inspired by the Japanese art of grilling called YakiTori meaning “grilled bird” They grill more than chicken though! Very rustic in decor with a unique type of service. It’s a combination of self service and drop offs. You aren’t really checked on during your visit unless you get their attention. You write down your order on paper and take it to the bartender and a runner brings it to you as it is freshly grilled. I started with a hot sake and the BLUE CRAB & CORN CROQUETTES. Devine!!! Crispy shell, smooth slightly fishy inside on a phenomenal crab fat sauce. 10/10 Next was the SHOYU QUAIL EGGS. They had the perfect cook and pop with a slightly spicy crisp on top. Another 10/10 The two meat skewers I got were the CHESHIRE HERITAGE-BREED PORK BELLY & DEMKOTA-ELITE BEEF Yet again 10/10!! The pork was so fatty and melted in my mouth with the best salty crust without being over powering, while the beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare with the most creamy Chimichuri I’ve ever tried. They are Michelin for a reason! Those awards are more than well earned. Affordable. Fun. Unique. Delicious!!
Try to go early because it does gets packed quickly and to get parking but when you go in you pick where you sit and fill out the paperwork menu of what you want to eat then give it to the bartender and pay then they will bring you the food to your table! I got the Japanese fried chicken, lamb chops, pork belly, crab fried rice and thought it was all good and the under the sun cocktail was tasty!
This place is phenomenal!! Head Chef Alex is a pleasure. Service top notch and bartenders are excellent, heavy pour requests not needed 😘 We shared most of the menu amongst us and nothing remained except the avocado which for some would just be fantastic, we're just not big fans of warm avo. Highly recommend!! Come hungry with plenty of people to share everything! Big personal favs... any skewer with chimichurri, the steaks, the wings, corn, peppers, both pork belly options, anything with tare, blue crab dip w/whole grain mustard... I could list the whole menu! ❤❤
Always a great time, you simply cannot go wrong. Everyone behind the bar are all studs, world class if you ask me. Weekdays are my favorite as you get to spend a little more quality time enjoying the vibes and conversation with his crew. Thank you: Jordan Matt C Matt J Julie Cassie Forever a fan,
A lot more packed than I expected! Plan accordingly since it definitely gives if a club was a restaurant, ID'd at the door and everything, regardless of that the servers were very helpful and attentive. Helped us make a special proposal moment for a friend despite how hectic and last minute it all was. Everything we tried was really good and worth the price, I didn't get a picture of the chicken meatballs but they were literally amazing, all the drinks were fun, creative, and literally delicious 10/10 for a fun drink with a date or some friends.
Tori Tori has earned its Michelin star. The food is incredible and so are the drinks. Bartenders know what they are doing and are willing to offer good advice. Food is ordered at the bar and runners bring it to your table. When it gets busy there can be a wait to put in orders at the bar but the food/drinks make it well worth it. Get there early as there is not seating left open after 630-7. The portion are on the smaller size for some offerings, especially skewer-cooked meat but don’t let that stop you. Please order the beef, pork and chicken on skewers. They cook it perfectly and the taste/quality will not disappoint. The place is expensive but you are getting something special for the price.
This place is outstanding! Go early! There aren’t servers! Only bartenders. The way it works is you find a spot to sit yourself and then order at the bar your food & drinks and they give you a number and your food is brought to you. I hear the later it gets there can be a line at the door, it gets packed fast so earlier the better. It’s amazing. I didn’t have one bad thing! Soooo good. Happy hour is Sunday- Thursday - best fried rice ever!
Tori Tori is now one of my favorite places in Orlando. I been before late night on a Saturday and it was fun with great drinks but I'm going during the day was a whole different vibe. The atmosphere is great with lots of great music and plenty of space and seating. The drinks were delicious and priced well. The food was my favorite part. Everything we tried was delicious. This is perfect for a date night or after work hang. Going at night is also a vibe especially if you can get seating but if you get there late or you have a big group it might be cramped. Tori Tori is definitely a vibe and I can't wait to go back to try some new dishes!
An outstanding happy hour! Unique takes on authentic flavors, tasty thought out cocktails, a dimly lit setting makes the big open space feel intimate and cozy. Staff are fast, efficient, helpful and knowledgeable about offerings. We sat at the bar. Comfy seats and a welcoming bartender made it a smooth experience. I'll certainly be back. It's a great place to enjoy with friends or when entertaining clients.
Tori Tori offers an incredible dining experience, not just with its food but also its ambiance. The sleek, modern design paired with warm lighting creates a stylish yet inviting atmosphere. My meal started with a beautifully balanced cocktail featuring uruapan rum, batavia arrack, ube orgeat, ginger, lemon, and pineapple—both refreshing and complex. The chicken karaage was perfectly crispy and juicy, elevated by the garlic-confit mayo, a bright squeeze of lemon, and the flavorful yuzu citrus pepper and Japanese BBQ sauces. Great food, great drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile!
I love the vibes here. The decoration was very beautiful. This was a casual restaurant where you order all of the foods at the bar and they gave us the order number. The price was very reasonable. For the food, I enjoyed lamb chops, pork belly, shrimps, crab fried rice, and croquettes. The chicken meatball was a bit too dry but other chicken dishes were delicious (thigh and oysters).
I went there for the first time this past Friday (date night). I really liked the place and enjoyed my time there. There is no reservation, no assigned tables (who ever comes can sit anywhere- inside or outside). Their menu is good, shareable sizes not big portions, but really good. There was a raffle ticket night, and you get free beer with each ticket, so we liked that a lot. I recommend trying this place.
Excellent mixed drinks and great small plates in an enjoyable atmosphere. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. While the drinks are very good, the food is where this place shines. I have tried almost everything on the menu and there is not a dish I haven't enjoyed. There is a great variety of Japanese inspired food and cocktails. There is also a good beer selection. Drinks are ordered and prepared at the bar. Food is ordered at the bar and brought to your seating area. It can be quite busy earlier in the night and parking can be a challenge.
Go early! Like, right at opening if you want to avoid a wait and crowd! Mushrooms 2.0 were the best! Crab and corn croquettes were BOMB. Wing skewer was just alright. Fried chicken was a huge portion and very good. Gyoza was very good if you're into beef! Cool atmosphere! Bar Seating was amazing service. We will be back!
Worth all the hype. The food here is a 10/10. Great, friendly staff. It was my first time and Matt was so kind and extremely helpful. The crab fried rice and crab and corn croquettes were my favorite! Great happy hour drinks. Try the bees knees cocktail!
Asian tapas spot that's always buzzing, the pork belly buns were soft and the glaze sticky-sweet. Tried the spicy tuna crispy rice too, had a nice kick without overpowering. Cocktails creative, vibe is fun and modern. Gets crowded quick though.
I really enjoyed my time at TORI TORI. I went for a date night with my significant other, and it was a really good and fun experience. TORI TORI is meant to be an upscale pub that serves traditional Japanese bar food. Nice decor, good music, chill and classy environment, but you sit yourself and order at the bar. Once you order, you get a number and servers will drop your food off as it’s ready. The food is tapas style, so mainly meant to be shared. Everything we had was absolutely wonderful. My favorites though, were the Gyoza, crab dip, chicken and rice. But in all honesty, there’s no going wrong. Try a few dishes and enjoy the tasting experience. The drinks are also good. My partner had a whiskey that left him speechless, and I had the Japanese Slip N Slide, which was really good. The staff was extremely kind. Everyone was willing to help with whatever we needed. You can also tell the place can get very packed because there was security at the doors, who were also nice and amicable. Note, get there at a reasonable hour if you want good seating. There are no reservations, due to the style of the restaurant, and once it starts getting packed, you’ll either have to wait to find a seat or stay standing at the bar for a bit. But all in all, worth the wait and worth the experience. I look forward to going again.
If I can give 10 stars, I will!!! One of my favorite spots to chill and have fun in Orlando. They have good food & drinks! My wife & I had a double-date with amazing friends, and we had a nice experience! I love the music, ambiance and their FRIED CHICKEN! Worth to try and highly recommended! Indeed, Michelin Guide Restaurant! Will definitely be back.
This is without a doubt, one of my top favorite restaurants in Orlando. The food is beyond exceptional, and it greatly makes up for the poor service and atmosphere. The atmosphere is OK, but the real issues that they are blasting music at a volume that is too loud. It is not even easy to converse without resorting to yelling. Luckily, it’s a little quieter outside on the patio. The concept is very unique - you order your food at the bar and then go sit down anywhere and have it brought out to you as it is ready. We had an issue where all the bartenders saw us, but kept ignoring us and wouldn’t take our order for about 15 minutes. The food though is incredible. I started off with chicken kaarage which is beautifully fried chicken with a delicious mayo dipping sauce. The seasoning is also so tasty! Then, I got a chicken skin skewer with tare (type of marinade). This was my favorite skewer of the night. Really crunchy, has a nice chew, and the char along with the marinade makes for a delicious bite. Next was the quail egg skewers with chili oil on top. I really enjoyed the flavor in this, however, I feel like to be a better way to eat this because as soon as you pick up the skewer, the eggs rotate and dump all the chili oil off. It is a umami bomb of flavor. My other favorite skewer of the night was the chicken thighs. This was so juicy and moist, and again with the tare marinade, it’s so delicious! If you enjoy pork belly, this will easily be some of the best pork belly that you will get. You can’t go wrong with any of their pork belly options, but we got all of the variety that they had. I also really enjoyed the chicken meatballs. These had a somewhat curry flavor, which reminded me more of Middle Eastern cooking techniques. It was really good, but definitely on the lower end of my ranking. The Gyoza is super juicy while being really crisp on the outside. The presentation is also top-tier. Both the garlic fried rice as well as the crab fried rice are amazing. If you like garlic flavor, these will really hit you. The other last really great dish we had was the red pepper pimento cheese with pork rinds. The pork rinds themselves are good and freshly fried, but the stand out is the cheese itself. The flavor is extremely fresh, cheesy, and somewhat nutty. Overall, this was one of my favorite meals in the city, and while the service is lacking, the quality of the food is incredible and generally impressed me throughout the entire meal.
Advance research made this place a must-visit. I was the first one through the doors on the night I was there and the room filled in steadily around me. I sat at the bar and the young guy taking care of me was great. It was just me but I was on a mission to indulge. I now wish I'd tried even more! I tried the... Wagyu Imperial Gyoza Hokkaido Scallop Crudo Thigh + Tare Wing + Yuzu Pepper Sauce Beef + Chimichurri Pork Belly + Tare Flamin' Hot Corn Shoyu Quail Eggs In a field of all-stars, the pork belly and thigh were still standouts, along with the 🔥 margarita from the barkeep. The pacing of the meal was handled by my dude behind the bar. I just told him the things I wanted and he handled the choreography with aplomb. I look forward to returning with my partner and sharing this great experience with her.
Tori Tori is easily one of the coolest spots in Orlando. It has a fun, stylish vibe with a great mix of energy and intimacy. The atmosphere feels like the perfect balance between a cocktail bar and a Japanese street food hangout. The drinks were incredible. The purple cocktail, the Japanese Slip ‘N’ Slide, was not only beautiful but also delicious. Super smooth, refreshing, and just the right touch of citrus. The mint and lemon garnish made it pop. I also tried the Under the Sun, which was crisp and tangy with a chili salt rim that added a little extra kick. Both drinks were unique and well crafted. Food-wise, everything we had was on point. The fried ball appetizer was perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. It was served on this rich, flavorful sauce that brought the whole thing together. The gyoza were probably my favorite. Perfectly seared, juicy inside, and topped with microgreens and sesame that made them feel extra special. Service was friendly and efficient, even though the place was pretty packed. You can tell this is a place locals love, and for good reason. If you’re looking for somewhere that delivers on food, drinks, and overall experience, this is it. Just a heads up, it can get busy, so coming early or grabbing a seat at the bar is a smart move. Five stars all the way. Will definitely be bac Chicken oysters were really good and so were the gyoza.
I enjoyed my first visit at Tori Tori this summer. The food and drinks were delicious, fun and reasonably priced. A good place for a cocktail and apps. Things to note is that they don’t take reservations so you should get there early to grab a table. Once you secure your table, you will fill out a paper with your food order and then go place your drink order and food order at the bar. Your food and drinks will be delivered to you. Service was good, but is a mix of self-serve, which adds a different feel to it. The drinks and food came out in a timely manor. This place does have a Michelin star. Indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking or near by parking lot.
As much as this place has become incredibly popular. When you show up (and its not slammed). Once you get a cozy spot with your group. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The drinks and food are Solid overall. You can never go wrong with a night out at tori tori. Shout out to the staff. I didn’t remember their names after two shinobi’s but they were all cool people.
Met a friend here for later evening tapas and to catch up. There was a great crowd, but it didn’t seem packed. It was loud inside, so he sat on the patio. You bring your menu up to the bar and then take a number which I love. Food came out as it was ready not all at once which is also wonderful. As a vegetarian, I felt they had an appropriate amount of options. Everything I had was good, but there was nothing that I would call great. Very solid offering start to finish except for the corn. As a person who loves things that are spicy I was excited, but this was insane. I only had two bites and then left the rest. For the quality of food, I would say that it is beyond affordable and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area
We went in on a Monday & just grabbed a seat. The ambience was lovely. We grabbed the very last minute happy hour drink & ordered the food at the bar (you have to for this place). The food came quite fast & soooo DELICIOUS. Small portions. The happy hour red was decent, too! The waiter said the kitchen opened quite late, until midnight on weekends.
I had a fantastic experience at Tori Tori! The atmosphere was incredible—beautifully decorated with a vibrant yet cozy vibe. It was busy when we arrived, and since it’s seat-yourself, seating is first come, first served. We ended up sitting outside, which was peaceful and uncrowded. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the chicken karaage, pork belly skewers, chicken thigh, chicken breast, curry chicken meatball, quail eggs, and steak. Every dish was cooked to perfection—the meat was tender, juicy, and buttery. The pork belly stood out so much we ordered seconds. It was perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of fat, and it melted in your mouth. The drinks were also excellent. I don’t recall their names, but they were flavorful and not watered down, which I really appreciated. The service was outstanding. Even though we sat outside and away from the main area, the staff checked on us consistently. They made sure we had everything we needed, which really enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend Tori Tori for the amazing food, drinks, service, and ambiance. I’ll definitely be back!
Arrived about 7:30 2/13. Line was long but moved. Have outside seating but was a little too cool for me. Waited about 15 minutes. Once inside, self seating. Staff very helpful. Younger crowd but felt very comfortable. The food was awesome, small plates, we tried many. Their cocktails very reasonably priced and yummy!!
Upon stepping in, the vibes were there -- music playing softly in the background, plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly made me feel comfortable. The employees were kind, patient, friendly, and helpful, which really added to the experience and set the tone for the evening. I was meeting a friend there, and even though the restaurant was packed within the first hour of opening, it was still easy to find her, and the space didn't feel overcrowded or chaotic. The energy was lively but relaxed -- people chatting, laughing, and enjoying their meals. My food and drink came out in a timely manner, and the presentation was neat and appetizing. The food itself was damn good -- flavorful, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. You can tell they put love into their cooking. Plus, everything was fresh and highly affordable, especially considering the quality and portion size. What I really appreciated was how the staff checked in to make sure everything was okay without being overbearing. It's little things like that that make a big difference. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience -- from the ambiance and customer service to the food and pricing. I'd highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for good food, great service, and a chill vibe. I'll definitely be back again real soon, and next time, I'm bringing a few friends along!
Fun! Tasty! Izakaya! Small plates, great for sharing. No reservations, hosts, or waiters. Grab a table, order at the bar, runners bring your food out. What you miss in service, they make up for in flavor. Cocktails were excellent. Portions were great. Recommended this place for drinks, snacks, and a good time.
Tori means to choose. And at TORI TORI, there are so many choices. If you are lucky enough to find a parking spot, you won’t be as lucky to secure a booth. Seating is first come, first serve. This place is so good, that people will stay for a long while enjoying the atmosphere and people watching. Once you have found a spot, use the order slips on the table to place your order. Take that slip to the bar and they will hand you a number to place on your table. That will let the staff know where to deliver your food. We ordered so much food and it was all delicious. We had the Shrimp Cocktail, WAGYU IMPERIAL GYOZA, CHICKEN KARAAGE (JAPANESE FRIED CHICKEN), GARLIC FRIED RICE (GF), CHICKEN THIGH (GF), CHESHIRE HERITAGE-BREED PORK BELLY (GF). We had a few cocktails as well. The FLORAL, PAPER CRANE and an OLD FASHIONED. Unfortunately we didn’t take pictures of everything because we were so excited to devour it all. The bar staff was just as amazing as the food. I cannot fully express how important this place is to the central Florida food scene. Go as soon as you can.
Good drinks! And, good food if you don't mind having to track it down. It took over 45mins to receive the tapas which were all ordered together. The staff was really nice about it, but the entire point of tapas is they're supposed to be easy to prepare and quickly served. The seating is open everywhere except the booths, which take upwards of 45-60+mins and even still, you have to order at the bar. Overall, cute concept and location, but they have some service kinks to work out. I'd hesitate to go again unless I just wanted to pass the time people watching.
The food here is really great!! The cocktails were delicious too. The restaurant is really nice and usually packed. My only complaints is the fact that you sit yourself it took me a long time to find us a table and the food took a long time. Also the food portions are super small kind of like tapas. The lamb pops were perfect though, will come back just for those.
Variety of food to order, plenty of small plates to order while drinking. The meat yakitori skewers are typically cheap, about $3 - $5 per skewer, so you can definitely try a variety of food. Food is all really delicious, the seasoning is on point and the cuts of meat taste pretty high quality too. Fun place for a date or to take a small group of friends or family. The cons about this place are that they include a 20% tip (party of 4) by default. You have to crowd around the middle section to place your order, and sometimes the wait to just place food is pretty long. Food comes out relatively fast, but ordering can be a pain.
The chicken oyster was excellent—crispy skin with a tender, flavorful interior. I also really enjoyed the blue crab croquette, especially paired with its well-balanced sauce. The scallop crudo, however, was unfortunately over-seasoned, which overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the scallop. My least favorite dish was the Wagyu gyoza; it didn’t stand out compared to a typical gyoza, and I couldn’t finish more than two. Beef skewers were okay, too. That said, the place has a relaxed vibe, a good variety of dishes, and is reasonably priced—overall, a nice spot to try a few interesting bites
We were in town to see Ado at Kia Center and the day before the concert was my youngest kid's birthday. When we arrived, the line was pretty long but our Lyft driver promised that it was worth the wait. He was right. When we finally got inside we lucked out and we were able to get a table immediately out on the patio. We had a couple of cocktails, a couple of Kushiyaki, a bunch of different Yakitori, and an order of Karaage. Everything was really good and I'd love to visit again someday.
Great place to go before a concert or show at Amway or Dr. Phillips. Food comes in small portions but it allows you to try different items & everything is very flavorful. They have great drinks as well. It gets crowded here very quickly so we recommend coming in right when they open because they don't take reservations. Seating is first come first served... just gotta fight for a table or seat at the bar. Parking is somewhat a of a struggle, but we were lucky to find street parking.
Fantastic place. Please be prepared for first come first seated, no traditional wait staff where you wait for a table, no reservations. Only issue with this, are those other customers "saving seats" for others in their party that end up not showing or moving to another seating area. Food was great, wish there were more detailed descriptions for menu items, especially if you are new to this cuisine. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts.
We went to TORI TORI for the first time last weekend. The food and drinks were amazing, but I can’t give the restaurant more than 4 stars. The way the place works is a bit different: you find your own seat, then go to the bar to order both your food and drinks. After that, you can either stay at the bar or go back to your table. We tried the blue crab dip, crab croquette, crab rice, scallop crudo, beef skewers, tomato skewers, scallion and cheese pepper skewers ~ all of them were delicious. The drinks were also really good. They have food runners who bring the food to you, but you still have to go order everything yourself at the bar. The mix of self-service and table service was interesting, but I didn’t love having to wait in line to order and still being expected to tip over 20% (which we did). The bartenders (ours was Thanathep) were very busy, which made sense since it was a Sunday night. I really enjoyed the food and drinks, but because of the service style, I’d give it 4 stars.
Tori Tori ordering system and service couldn’t be worse. So precarious! Good luck on getting a table, placing an order, getting any information or even paying your bill. No table service. Want another drink? Stand in line for 15 min again. Parking situation as of 12/2025: If you park at their small lot you will have 4h free. the lot across Tori Tori by Edoboy WONT be validated so make sure you scan and pay!!! They put a security at the door that knows nothing! No host or someone that can give any information. Terrible Food x prices are unbeatable though; Favorites : *CHICKEN KARAAGE (JAPANESE FRIED CHICKEN) * CRAB FRIED RICE (GF *WAGYU IMPERIAL GYOZA * LAMB KARUBI LOLLIPOPS Will pass next time: *SPICY YUZU PEPPER SHRIMP *CHICKEN SKIN *CHICKEN BREAST GINGER * DEMKOTA-ELITE BEEF It’s a must try place for sure but just don’t go hungry or in a hurry. Theres always long wait times to enter and place orders. Very weird business model…
Came here with my daughter and ordered food and drinks. Went to the bathroom and came back to some other folks sitting on our space. My food and drinks were thrown out. I went to the bar and closed my tab and told the guy at the bar. He was nice and offered to order me something but there was nowhere to sit at this point. I was disappointed and had no choice but to leave. There should be a better way to identify a place taken. The food was tasty and the ambience was great. Very full
It's meh honestly, I've had substantially better and for less money. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. The karaage was lacking flavor, pork belly was very bland, brussel sprouts were close to being good but they were burnt. For a place that loves to advertise the Michelin star they really do need to up their game. But maybe that's implies whoever did the rating had way too many of the coconut shinobis before hand. Cocktails were pretty good, but adding some bee pollen to the bees knees would have added just a bit of pizzazz.
Over-hyped for food but drinks are good. Bee’s knee- awesome , nice honey ; Karaage chicken : very , extremely dry and crusty shell, avoid if you can ; Mushrooms : ok teriyaki flavor , unnecessarily greasy; Quail eggs: criminally salty, garlic mala flavor itself is ok; Brussel sprouts : nice twist of sweet and sour flavor, overly charred and overly salty. As a food professional, I’d really like to speak to the founder. The flavor profiles you have chosen are way on the umami and salty + greasy side, and the overuse to tanginess ( mostly citric based ) to cut though the greasiness is insufficient and redundant. No refreshing / light crunchy dish to lighten the whole dining experience and give our palates a refresh , and it’s not enough to just count on the drinks. I do believe you have the potential to do much better .
I always thought that Michelin star meant superb out of this world food..... I ordered the garlic crab fried rice which was good but smelled fishy which to me equals not the freshest seafood..... And I got the boneless fried chicken wings... Which came out beautifully hot but the breading is superduper thick and while they were crunchy and greasy and good .... They were a long way from the few other Michelin star restaurants that I've eaten at.... I have to say the staff was unbelievably friendly helpful... I am 71 years old and and recovering from a motorcycle accident and they were beyond nice they really went above and beyond.... Again I think it's good bar food if you're drinking but I expected quite a bit more from the food because it was advertised as a Michelin star restaurant from 2022 through 2025..... I have no desire to go back although I love their menu and I wonder if maybe Some other dish was the one that's so good you wanna rub it on yourself.... The only thing is the bartender told me these are the two most popular dishes they had because I knew I wanted crab fried rice but I was undecided as to second choice..... oh yeah the prices are beyond excellent super Duper cheap food I spent $20.71 I believe so $26 with tip for my two dishes the portions aren't huge but they are plenty especially for an old guy like me who doesn't eat half of what I used to...
First when you come in it’s find your selves a seat /which it was crowded, then when you find a seat its scan for menu then the menu tells you to go to the bar to order then, they pass your drinks, you take to the table then go back for rest of your drinks, then ordered food, which I was hungry, but the fried chicken is just a bunch of flour and fat then the Brussels sprouts are soggy and that moldy taste, then the crab cakes just more flower and weird sauce, if your sitting in this place order the lamb chops and the crab fried rice because there is no going back on your order. Maybe the other food choices are better but hey ,cool atmosphere to conversate over some lamb chops and few beers enjoy !
Questioning the Michelin Star at Tori Tori After reading that Tori Tori had been awarded a Michelin star since 2022 — and has maintained it for three consecutive years — I was genuinely excited to visit. As anyone familiar with the Michelin Guide knows, earning and keeping a star is no easy feat. It’s typically a mark of excellence and near-perfection. However, what I experienced left me with serious doubts. What I witnessed inside can only be described as chaotic — far from the level of quality, service, and attention to detail one would expect from a Michelin-rated restaurant. I won’t go into every detail, but I encourage others to see it for themselves. If you’ve come to expect the precision, elegance, and consistency that usually defines Michelin-level dining, you may walk away with more questions than answers.
Fui pero no hay quien atienda, dure sentada más de 20 minutos y nos fuimos, no probé su comida, el ambiente se ve super. Pero no quede conforme
Horrible experience, terrible organization. I went to Tori Tori with 5 friends to celebrate my birthday. The bouncers at the entrance looked like a mafia, the way they spoke to the customers in line; it felt like a line for jail with how they treated us. Second, you have to pay a minimum of $20.00 for parking. They make you go into a crowded restaurant with no tables and no space to order at the bar. Nobody greets you or serves you. The staff had a terrible attitude. People were rushing the customers at the tables, asking how soon they would be leaving. The whole experience at this place was horrible.
I used to love Tori Tori but I don’t think after tonight I will patronage here again. The new system of entering the bar is ridiculous. Instead of just being capacity based the security outside makes everyone wait 15 minutes. Which feels to have no rhyme or reason. I would watch parties of 5 and 6 leave at a time and still have to wait outside. Money should be put into having servers instead of bothering 5 bartenders to do everything. The portions have also gotten smaller.
Avoid this place!!! Terrible service! There was no staff assistance or guidance even after we had been inside for 10 minutes. We finally found two seats at the bar counter (we were a party of three), but the bartender told us that only two people were allowed to sit there and that we couldn’t pull over another chair because of a mat—something that could have been easily moved. She just stared at us without offering any help or suggestions, which was very unprofessional and disappointing. Because of this terrible experience, we decided to leave right away.
The food and drinks here are absolutely amazing, but there’s one major issue, they don’t take reservations. Unless you arrive before they open, there’s about a 98% chance you won’t find a table. If you get there after 5:00 PM, you’ll likely end up leaving because it’s packed. And even if you do manage to get a seat, the place gets so crowded that it’s hard to truly enjoy the great food. Another big inconvenience is that you have to go to the bar to order both food and drinks. The bartenders are extremely busy, so sometimes you end up waiting over 15 minutes in line just to place an order. It’s chaotic and takes away from what could be a great experience. Parking is also very limited, same story as the tables. If you don’t arrive right at 5:00 PM, you’ll end up driving in circles around the area trying to find a spot. I’m sure those Michelin stars are purely for the food, because everything else feels like a stressful mess. This place has so much potential, but unless they make some serious changes, I’d rather go to other spots in the area.
