Mi experiencia en el restaurante ha sido excelente. La comida muy buena y el.petsonal, tanto camareras como maître, excepcional. Ahora me gustaría probar el gastrobar.

¡Una noche de Reyes genial! La verdad es que Lagarza no defrauda. Lugar decorado con mucho gusto con una oferta gastronómica espectacular. La lasaña de foie es una delicia y el civet de ciervo si te gusta la caza…¡no te lo puedes perder! The service was excellent from the waitresses who served us. They were very polite. The food was very good and the portions were generous. (We shared everything and were completely full.) The atmosphere was welcoming. If I had to say something negative, the only thing I wasn't completely satisfied with was the cheesecake. I'm used to a different consistency, as it was quite spongy. But I guess that's just a matter of taste.

It can be summed up in one word: "spectacular." We went to try the gastropub and left delighted. Everything we tried was delicious. The tacos were delicious, the secreto bao bun was delicious, the eggs with onions and entrecote were spectacular, and the desserts were exquisite. It's a must-see and highly recommended in the city of Ourense. The place is beautiful and the service is excellent!! I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

We went without a reservation on a weekday, initially intending to go to the restaurant, but arriving so early, we tried the gastrobar, as the restaurant opened at 9:15 p.m. Very attentive and friendly service. They gave us a choice (there weren't many people) between an enclosed terrace or an indoor terrace, and we opted for the former. For starters, we ordered ravioli filled with oxtail and Iberian pork loin baos, both very delicious, especially the ravioli. For main courses, we ordered scrambled eggs with Amalia cheese and Serrano ham, also very rich in flavor. Those three dishes were already enough, although we still had room for dessert, so we ordered a mango puff pastry and cheesecake, which surprised us (in a positive way) with their generous size, as we were expecting a smaller portion. In short, a good place to eat with good value for money, and located in the heart of Ourense, next to the old town.

A total success. There were nine of us, and we all loved it. Everything we ordered was delicious, a generous portion...not a single complaint. In fact, the waitress who took our order told us we were ordering too much, so we decided not to share a starter. The desserts...impressive. And the place is beautiful. We'll definitely be back when we return to Ourense.

Amazing lunch! Cool place very good service and really nice dishes. We had the steak tartar, very original and tasty take on it in a traditional presentation. The meatballs as well they were amazing and the Cod dish was also very good. La comida estuvo muy bien, el trato de las camareras fue excelente, el único "pero" que hay es que no nos sirvieron a todos a la vez. Primero le sirvieron la comida a uno de mis amigos mientras que a los demás nos tocó esperar unos 10 minutos. Esto es algo que no puede suceder.

Reservamos para 3, nos atendieron rápido y nos pusieron un entrante mientras esperábamos por la comida. Pedimos para compartir langostinos en tempura y ensaladilla de centolla y langostinos, ambos platos riquísimos. De segundos, entrecot, risotto y rape , todos muy ricos pero el entrecot sabrosísimo. Ya estabamos llenas y pedimos un postre para compartir por probar, el brownie con helado de frutos rojos, espectacular. No es barato pero sí de calidad.

We ate at the gastrobar for starters: shrimp baos, cheek quesadillas and hummus for mains, with pumpkin, avocado and black olives. For dessert: Oreo cookie cheesecake. The best part was the baos and the cake. Quick service but the tables were very close together, with almost no privacy for conversation.

First time here and really enjoyed it. Good, unique offerings, more creative menu than many other places in the area. The tacos were excellent, plus tapas of meat ravioli in a tasty sauce (2 in an order) made for a great meal. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice interior, music provided a nice vibe. I'd def return!

We had dinner at this pseudo-gastro bar in the summer and the experience was excellent, so we returned in November expecting the same. Unfortunately, this visit made it clear that the organization and service have plummeted. First, they brought us huevos rotos with ratatouille, when we had ordered huevos rotos with secreto (a cut of pork). When we told the waitress we had ordered the other dish (the same waitress who has been complained about in recent reviews), she complained, saying, "When I confirmed the order, you said yes," which was a lie, since when confirming the order she only said "huevos rotos." This was the first mistake. Second, we ordered three sirloin toasts; two medium and one well-done. They brought us three sirloin toasts; two well-done and one medium. When we told the waitress, she went to the kitchen, and the cook yelled and complained that we had ordered that. Mind you, this was the waitress's fault for taking the order wrong TWICE, but that doesn't excuse the cook's awful reaction. Regarding the food: the toast left MUCH to be desired (maybe it would have been better if they'd brought it the way I ordered it). The mini burgers were absolutely disgusting, the bread was burnt and hard, and the meat was dry and rancid; they're really overcharging for €9.98 for an order of two. The prawn bao bun was just average, nothing special. The ham and cod croquettes were just average, nothing special. The only decent thing was the broken eggs (the ones I ordered from the start, with Iberian pork), although it seemed like they reused the wrong dish. As for the service, forget about it. After the scene with the waitress with the tattoo under her ear, the rest was pretty much the same. The kitchen was yelling and complaining next to us, and BOTH cooks and two of the waitresses were giving us dirty looks. They completely ignored our drink orders, even mocking us and saying, "You go take our order." We waited 10 minutes for the bill without the waitresses bothering to come over; the three of them were chatting at the bar, staring at us without paying any attention. If you have the chance to go to this place, don't. There are hundreds of options in this city where you can eat better, with much better ingredients (for a pseudo-gastro bar), for a much better price, and with infinitely more decent service. This place is undoubtedly a disgrace, and its service is so appalling that they couldn't do any worse even if they tried.
