Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ottimo i vini presenti. Per l'occasione ho degustato un dolcetto DOC, di produzione locale, che ha accompagnato alla perfezione i ravioli al sugo di funghi fatto in casa e il brasato con verdure. Da segnare in agenda anche per la posizione, sulle colline tra Ovada e Acqui Terme, da cui si gode un'ottima vista.
Un bellissimo bar a mia opinione il più bello della zona, è arredato in modo raffinato. Ben fornito di vini, dolci preparati dalla pasticceria affiliata. Il locale offre numerosi posti al coperto e in estate anche la possibilità di accomodarsi in veranda. Il personale è gentilissimo e professionale, ottimo per aperitivi e compleanni.
Aperitivo ottimo a un prezzo imbattibile. Gentili e discreti. Pasticceria di prim'ordine. Stuzzichini vari. Io ogni volta che passo da Ovada un salto se posso lo faccio 😘

We had two coffees, so I'm keeping a neutral opinion, but I can say that the café is a historic place for its decor and ambiance. In any case, the coffee was good, and the lady at the counter was kind.
A ten!! Known for a forced stop during our trip... we arrived on foot, disheartened and with low morale, at this place with a taste of times gone by: extremely kind staff, a well-kept venue respecting its history, and, the icing on the cake, an exceptional price: €16 for four Aperol Spritzes with two platters full of food, transforming our aperitivo into an aperitivo lunch. As Venetians, we also complimented them on this: we know that outside the region, the price of Aperol Spritzes can rise significantly, while here it's in line with bars in our cities, with the addition of so many food items! And our morale was also lifted thanks to the kindness and friendliness of all the staff. We hope to be able to return under more pleasant circumstances.
Kindness pays off. I stopped for a cappuccino and a bottle of water. The owner at the register was very kind, unassuming but not always predictable.

Historic bar in Ovada. Impeccable service, excellent for an aperitif served with generous appetizers. Lovely outdoor seating overlooking the city center. Prices are significantly lower than average. What more could you ask for?

We passed through Ovada for an organized event, an antiques market, and stopped at this place for a refreshment break. Very spacious outdoor area, fast table service, and very friendly staff. Prices are fair, in line with other establishments. Very centrally located, on a busy street. Very satisfied with the service we received. The atmosphere was very informal and friendly. Highly recommended... definitely worth a try.
What a wonderful place... It exudes the atmosphere of the 1960s suburbs. Great friendliness and kindness, historic furnishings, but also excellent homemade pastries. And then the fantastic and unique cake... Ovada polenta. I tried it now that it's autumn... A real treat.

Caffè Trieste is a wonderful discovery! A historic bar in Ovada... Pier and his staff are always friendly and make you feel right at home. The aperitif is truly top-notch, with charcuterie platters, warm focaccias, pizzas, and piadinas. Excellent value, and the wine and champagne cellar is top-notch.

Sicuramente uno dei migliori locali di Ovada adatto alle occasioni più svariate. Ci sono stato per un caffè, per un aperitivo, ma anche per un drink post cena. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile e l'arredamento è sempre molto curato, cosa rara nella zona.
Perfetto per una pausa a tutte le ore. Buone le colazioni, gli apertivi e per pranzi veloci. Il personale è cordiale e molto accogliente. Ogni volta che passo di lì almeno un caffè me lo bevo. Al centro del paese e comodissimo grazie al parcheggio antistante

Very good Fantastic aperitif, with fabulous appetizers too. Fabulous waitress, kind and gracious. Knowledgeable waiter. All in all, a great place to stop.
A lovely café perfect for starting the day with a breakfast featuring delicious, authentic products, especially Ligurian focaccia. The owner is very kind and helpful, and the service is quick and accurate.

Bar storico, si trova nella Piazza principale della città. Comodo il parcheggio pubblico davanti al locale. Ha tavolini all'aperto, durante la stagione fredda vengono protetti da una veranda riscaldata L'ambiente è ordinato. Il servizio è veloce anche nei giorni con presenza di più clienti.
