Menu posted for informational purposes. I happened upon this place my 2nd day in Istanbul. It’s cozy and Hasan makes a mean dürüm chicken. Generously portioned, extra crispy, delicious, and reasonably priced. I will return to try other menu items. Recommend.

I enjoyed my dinner so much that I came back the very next day. The customer service was outstanding—truly the best experience I’ve had in Istanbul. 둘 다 양고기로 시켰는데 비린내 없고, 뻑뻑하지 않게 완벽한 굽기로 익혀줬고, 특히 저 밥이랑 같이 나온 음식은 진짜진짜 맛있어요!! Dürüm(말이)도 맛있었지만 조금 밍밍했고, 따로 요청한 소금, 고춧가루 향신료, 마요네즈 뿌리니까 맛있었어요. 첫 사진의 음식은 꼭 드셔보세요!

The best food in the neighborhood. We tried many cuisines at other places in the nearby areas, but Luna Istanbul was the best. I absolutely like their pleasant service.

This place is must visit when you are in Istanbul. We discovered it because it was near our hotel. You have to try their Iskender Kebab, Shepherd salad, yoghurt with mint and garlic, kunefe or anything else, because absolutely everything is tasty. Plus it’s place with a really good prices! But my favourite thing about this place are the people working there. They are so welcoming, pleasant and funny. They speak English and Russian. Everything about this place will make your stay in Turkey more authentic and your belly happy:)

Walked by earlier in the day and got a pomegranate juice. Came back for dinner for chicken doner and asked for vegetarian salad and fries. We watched as a potato was pulled and cut into fries and fried and a fresh salad was made. The doner was customizable and delicious. Tea was provided at the end of our meal.

This place is amazing. We stopped by after finding our place we were staying at and were recommended by our hosts to come here. The city was in holiday mode, so lots of people were on the street. Lots of locals and tourists alike coming after we sat down, which was already almost midnight. Great staff, friendly and generous. We had iskender and kunefe. The iskender was on what was probably a bed of unhealthy fried bread, but I'm telling you it's worth it. Like eating fries. Crunchy and full of saucy flavor from the meat juices. The lamb was tasty and spiced well. The kunefe was made fresh when ordered and had stringy cheese topped with a crunchy layer of that was like vermicelli. Topped with tasty syrup that's nice but not too much. To finish it off, we had some Turkish coffee and the manager gave us another round on the house. He's finishing up a rooftop terrace that should he open in a week. We will be back 😊

My friend and I went out for dinner as soon as we arrived from the airport and it couldn't have been a better welcome to Istanbul, the man who served us was so lovely and the food was great! So thankful for the service 😄

价格不算便宜，可能是因为里拉贬值的原因吧，1欧元等于20里拉，1人民币等于2.73里拉。看着评价过来的，走了很多路，以为会很不错，但是和其他的旋转烤肉差不多，没有感到特别。两个人去的，本来想点两份，看了看价格就点了一份，一份盘子的烤肉带鸡肉和羊肉，量不大，200里拉，一瓶可乐一杯石榴果汁100里拉，然后自动收了30里拉小费。服务不错，吃完后给了两杯红茶喝

The tavuk durum is well seasoned. The owner even asked us whether we would like it spicy or not. He is so friendly. Reasonably price 👍 this tiny restaurant located next to a busy street. You can see cars coming back and forth while eating your food 😂

Un restaurant simple et qui propose un döner kebab classique ! Du bon pain et de la bonne viande font de ce restaurant un point de passage pour un repas rapide et pas très onéreux. Les frites faites sur place et maison sont assaisonnées à souhait et la sauce blanche au yaourt top! Serveur souriant et à l'écoute !

A quick meal while shopping, I opted for a standard doner in bread. It could have used a bit more meat as the portion seemed a bit small. However, I believe this is quite typical for restaurants of this kind in Istanbul.

I had a bad experience here. I paid by card without looking at the amount he wrote. I ordered food according to the price stated on the menu. I was supposed to pay 320 Lira, but when I walked out of the restaurant and saw the payment receipt I was shocked, he charged me 570 Lira :( ... I stupidly got scammed. The food served and service are not bad either. But the owner is a fraud after all. Be careful if you visit here, make sure the price is right And don't get scammed like me.

TOURIST SCAM! we asked them to recommend us their best dish. they gave us something off menu way more expensive than everything on the menu. they charged us $70 for a single plate of kabob and bread and some drinks.

Low quality of food for the price. We ordered one mix plate which was recommended to us, 2 juices and one soup for a 1000 liras. The portion was very small and very greasy and tasteless food , nothing impressive.

Prima cena a istanbul, io e il mio ragazzo volevamo assaggiare un doner kebab. Ci siamo fermati in questo locale che lungo la strada è l'unico che espone il giro arrosto fuori. Il mio ragazzo, affamato , gli chiede se può fare il suo doner abbondante, il proprietario allora gli dice che può fare un doner con doppia porzione di carne, che in realtà era solo leggermente più grande di quello normale, peccato che al momento del conto ci ha fatto pagare il doner due volte visto che ci aveva messo un po' di carne in più. Per due doner, una porzione di patatine, una coca e un the freddo abbiamo pagato 1000 tl, praticamente una truffa.

It would be advisable for customers to confirm the prices before placing an order, as the final bill may come as an unpleasant surprise if checked only after dining. Additionally, the premises appeared unclean, and there were no toilet facilities available. Either the food not great.

For travelers, I never recommend this restaurant. My dinner price is 800TL, but I should pay more. Taste was not that special. Ingredients were not that fresh. But worst of all, he asked me more money than that I ate. I ordered 360, 310, 130 food in total 800TL. And he show me the bill written in 800TL. When I give him 165 by cash, and the other 635 by card, he suddenly told me that if I use the card I should pay the 10% taxes. So he asked me to pay 700 by card.(Even it’s more than 10%.) So I paid 865TL in total, even though I ate 800TL. I’ve never been asked to pay 10% taxes when I used the card in turkey. After that, we complained about that. So he gave us 30TL, even though we should get back 65TL. So, travelers, be care-full.
