This place has really improved over the years. Their pancakes and has browns were cooked to perfection. The burger was huge and tasted great. My son ordered a steak omelette that had plenty of big tender pieces of steak. Our server Pamela was so attentive, she made us feel as if we were in her home and she was taking care of us. I have been coming to this location for over 15 years and I have never received service as I did Saturday August 19th 2025. I was in a bit of a funk :( Luz C. you turned my frown upside down. They way you came all happy and excited to serve us changed my mood. I was like wow I want to feel as happy and giddy as you did. You were so kind and ready to take our order and always with a smile. My family & I have been coming to this location for quite a while now on Sundays. It is one of the few where we definitely feel welcomed. There is one individual in particular that has stood out more that the rest & has made our visit worth it. The manager, Gizelle, has such patience with us & with other guests. Very polite & attentive. My family & I feel such a difference since she started working there. Thank you to the cooks who prepare our food with care. Recently Moved into the area, I'm a fan of Dennys Build your own sampler. And it didn't disappoint. I couldn't place the order online so I called and Dominic was very helpful, patient while I gathered my order and polite. That's the kind of customer service that should be everywhere. We were missing our apple crisp so I called and spoke to Stephanie she was also polite, helpful . She checked the kitchen and the apple crisp was in the oven. She apologized and asked if we could go pick it up she would make up for it however we just wanted to eat. So we will go tommorow. Hopefully they can double check orders more. But our food was on point 🤤😋

The scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes, and spinach, are delicious and they have turkey bacon! Very healthy and tasty. The pancakes, too, are fluffy and delicious.

Food was great. But what really helped me give this place a 5 star review was our Server Armando. He was amazing. The food is always good and the daytime servers are great. Unfortunately I recently witnessed the late night shift servers standing around talking and eating while the manager in the purple shirt (I think her name was Brenda?) bossed around one single older gentleman with in-ears (and was extremely mean and condescending to him) who was doing basically everything around the restaurant, which I didn’t think was fair. Every time he walked by she had a snide comment to make while the poor man just smiled and stayed quiet. Quite frankly watching her ruined my entire night, it was extremely off putting. They need to do better because that’s not how you treat employees EVER.

I really like the Denny's I tend to go to it if I'm working and I need somewhere to stop and get some thing late at night as an excellent bathroom and the people there are always good and it's never too busy and it's nicely located in the shopping center so that you can get anywhere in the Valley

I went with my daughter for dinner. It was 6:56 p.m. The place was pretty empty. Only 5 tables. They took 17 minutes to ask us what we wanted to drink and another 5 minutes to come back with the drinks. We had never waited that long on a weekday with little customers. I understand when the place is busy, but it's no acceptable when the place is almost empty. We ended up ordering to go as we did not have a lot of time. The manager came to the register and did not charge us. So, I edited my review and gave them 4 stars.

I like this Denny's specifically because if there's a long line I could just hop over to Jack in the box and it's basically like almost the same style food. Similar pricing but Denny's is definitely an experience. They also have the coolest kids toys at the entrance of the place you just gotta put money in. The bathroom here is sketch. The food is 👍 good

On the way from LA to LV, we missed our exit and ended up in Palmdale. Well, that made us hungry, and we had a hankering for soup. So we thought, why not Denny's? We ordered beef soup 🍲 and chicken fried steak. I'll tell you what, it really hit the spot. Good service, good portions, and absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised. Just what the doctor ordered! The only thing that bothered me was the $4 soda. Had I paid attention, I just would have had water. Enjoy 😉 all things.

I'm sure everybody has different experiences when they do come to Denny's. I've heard it all from the wait is too long to get seated or the wait to get served too long but then again you have to think what time are you going to eat and is it a weekend? Is it a holiday? My experience was pleasant. I had a great server kept our drinks full. Offered if we needed anything throughout the entire meal and was very friendly to myself and my children. I did come in on a weekday roughly about 6 p.m. and seated right away. The only downside to this evening dinner was my BLT bacon was too crispy. Now that's not anyone's fault, cooking pork has its regulations, i just wish I made a note to leave it a little chewy. Other than that 4 stars because I didn't "love" it but I really "liked" it.

This is a well run Denny’s. As opposed to the very questionable Denny’s of Lancaster, who really should be out of business. Anyways. The split dyed hair hostess was so nice and got us a table within 15 minutes during the breakfast rush on a weekend. The food came out fast and fresh, with all of our requests and accommodations perfect. The waitress who took us it was her first day and she did great. It does get really packed on weekends though, which is why the atmosphere was the tiniest bit hectic. Overall good location and I recommend it here in Palmdale 😼

We all know Denny's, it's a decent quick bite with a good price. Here in the AV if you have kids this is one of your few choices. I am a fan of the slam and my kids love the choices as well as those cups. You know what I am talking about. After a slow start post COVID, this place is hopping again. Normally I love Denny's!!! However the service was not much to be desired, they forgot about us , we had to wave random servers down for things, the food was bomb. Had the crumb Carmel pancakes ..... I can't get enough. I ended up not tipping and Maybe if they weren't behind the wall laughing and talking about their personal life's.They might be able to their job and Get tipped! I placed an order at 6:56pm and for it to be picked up by 7:30pm. On the app it said that it was ready. I live next to this dennys, literally 3 mins away. I get there at 7:32 and they said it’s not ready. No worries. They said 3 more mins but ended up being 16 mins. The cook left my food on the counter , then the waitress came like in 2 mins. She was nice and notice it had onions which I don’t like. I appreciate her for that. I got home, and the fries were not fresh. Wish I checked them before I left. It was not busy at all , maybe like 3 families. I rather go to the Dennys near the AV Mall. Their food is fresh and hot :) The burger was good tho!

Friendly waitstaff. It was just really packed. The food was okay. I bought the fish n chips and just not impressed by the mozzarella stick appetizer nor the wavy cut fries. The rice was unique I'd say but other than that had no problems with the servers.

Went recently on a trip and had an interesting experience. Management was (IMO) not the best to staff but regardless they did a great job. The hostess was so kind and prompt with getting us seated and didn’t mind my continuous questions from family lol. Overall would go again just hope again the management realizes we can see the way they act around staff :) but good food, always a great breakfast choice

Fries on my turkey club were awesome. Not sure what that second toothpick is doing there on the sandwich....(can u see it?) the cook got excited I guess! The food was good, but that manager Jennifer was being a little racist towards me and my husband which made me feel very uncomfortable but we stayed. Had a conversation with her and she swear that is wasn’t like that but it was both of our precipitations. Our waitress was great, she continued to check on us and was very kind.

The host are rude. They don’t call out names even if you are sitting right in front of them. After five minutes they remove your name from the list and move on to the next guest waiting and want to argue with you saying they did call your name multiple times. Unless they are whispering no one hears them in the tiny waiting area. They need to learn better customer service especially if they are the first thing you experience walking into a restaurant.

This evening we ordered Chicken Strips and Sirloin Steak Dinners. What we expected and what we got were two different things(see photos). The food looked like it was tossed around. We had ordered from Grub Hub, and the last time it arrived the same way. I called and spoke to the temp. manager Nataly who assured me this would not happen again, and happened because of a newer employee. The date was 9/10/21 and you can see that things have not changed. The steak was tiny not looking like a full 8oz. and with both Dinners costing over $40.00 we feel ripped off . The last time was 2 Fish Dinners, both Dinners had burnt fish, the Broccoli on both plates were partially fried not just steamed as they should be and to top it off , they forgot the Dinner Bread. On this evening's order they forgot the Ranch Dipping Sauce that was requested in their check box when ordering. This happens usually when the REAL MANAGER is not around, and I am sure that was the case this Sat. Evening. We are not happy and will be contacting Corporate Office in an attempt to get it right.

Why some ceo or manager thought to put the online orders in the center of the restaurant on a shelf is beyond me? No heat lamps nothing just your eggs sitting on a shelf getting cold between customers in booths dining. AND why do they ask if you want condiments, plastic utensils, napkins, syrup and such? NO ONE READS IT but the cook and they don't package your food. I had to go back in three times. First I asked for salt, she replied back "salt!" W a weird look on her face. I said yes don't you put salt on your eggs. Then I had to go back in to get syrup for my pancakes... Then when I was going to eat I saw they had not given me a fork, knife or spoon or a napkin. In again I went. There was no apology nothing just weird looks like I was weird and bothering them. The food is normally very good for Denny's but one of the cooks doesn't read how you want your eggs he just cooks them hard. Lol I rarely get real food I eat dry or canned food as a very nasty abusive divorce left me living iny car. I don't get it but there are so many people like these employees it's the norm now to not get what you ask for. Or yeah the time I had to go in there three time I had agrue with the waitress to get my large cup of coffee I ordered and had paid for. I had to go back out to my car to get my receipt to show here it was on it. She still agreed that I didn't order it and did not pay. Lol ss I'm lonely. Humor can be found in any circumstance or any place ya just have to turn it a few times to see it

Me and my coworker came for breakfast this morning the hostess very rude her name was lupa. Standing around talking with the other girls not trying to find us a table. They didn't seem busy. She was just concerned with her self. Finally we got a table are waiter was really nice great food l had almost forgot all about the bad attitude from that hostess but when I was leaving to pay I asked her for a bag and she rolled her eyes. She said you should have asked your waiter. This place is about 50/50 on there service and the People they hired. Maybe its the new management. Because when I complained the Alex girl did nothing. So two thumbs down.

We asked to be seated outside. There was no one sitting outside and they told us that even though All the tables were empty it would be a 45 minute wait to be seated. We went to another restaurant and we had just finished eating when we got a call saying our table was ready.

We ordered take out.The mashed potatoes were like soup. The added chicken strip was like a chicken finger from bk, and the chicken fried steak had very little gravy. Potatoes were completely brown. Kind of a disappointment. They should make tipping a option after you receive your food.

The hamburger I ordered for dinner was tasteless. The waitress' were very nice, but bathroom was dirty with no paper towels and the hand dryer did not work. I will never go back here. The food had absolutely NO flavor. The bathroom looks like a prison cell and I had to touch the door handle because no paper towels. Best thing about this place were the waitresses who were very nice. Denny's please change servers that want to work like Salvador or Benjamin my respects to them! Everybody else needs to go I'm sorry but others always have a lousy disposition. There's a lot of us that are going to IHOP or other locations because of this issue with friendly customer service! We visited May 31st at 9:26. Our waitress was friendly but the woman seating people was not. She was quick to sit the Hispanics but every other race coming in? She made them wait.

Greeted when we walked in and seated right away. Floor under table looked like it had not been swept/cleaned as there was food, silverware, and various other items. Soda cups were sticky. Waiter was very uninterested in getting refills or anything else we needed. Food was lukewarm warm at best, toast was more like warm bread, butter what butter? After our food was served we never saw the waiter again. Salt shaker was plugged and no salt came out. No offer of jelly for the “toast”. Lastly when we walked in there was a guy sitting inside on the bench with a sign “homeless vet anything helps”

I was seated and giving him menus just to wait 30 minutes not even to be asked what we want to drink. So we got up and left to go to Jack-in-the-Box.

A hair was found in my hash browns. I had to ask Enrique to take it off the check since it still reflected on the check . He didn’t seem amused to learn a hair was in my food. An apology wasn’t offered either. Enrique lacks professionalism. Our server Yahaira was great very attentive. Before you start judging how rude hostess and servers are please look at management these people are uneducated and do not support the staff. I witness Enrique on his personal phone while working. He sets the tone!

Not asking us if we wanted anything to drink. Not until I got up and asked to speak to a manager did Bethany come to our table and offered us drinks and took our order, and still it took her a good 15 minutes to bring out or beverages. Approximately 30 minutes to bring out or sampler, and an additional 30 to bring out or food order. I've given this place 3 try's and all 3 where about the same or more disappointing. Not to mention this times food was just over seasoned and by far the saltiest food I've ever had in my 40 years.

Pitiful, Service slowed unattended and always plates under the bottom were filthy and dirty. New food was made in the vegetable still had ice on them that were ice cold. The cutlery that was wrapped in the napkins was dirty and still had hair on them just totally disappointed, pitiful pitiful pitiful Denny’s on 47th St. when you go in the morning you get the best of service. The food is hot and the waiters and waitresses are nice and pleasant and attentive and warm but this crude that they have in there that work in the late afternoon early evening the service is disgusting to say the lease very low-grade in the food is horrible. How do you serve somebody on a plate in under the plate it’s dirty. You can fill the food on the plate so that lets you know that the inside the plate is dirty as well how do you serve somebody food in the vegetable still have ice on them totally disappointed

The Service was beyond slow. The food that was brought to us was brought in dirty plates. The bottom of the plate was filthy so that makes you know that the top of the plate was filthy. The silverware still had food on it, and one of the napkins, That contain cutlery had hair wrapped up in it after they came and got the food to replace it. They brought us fresh plates in the broccoli was ice. Cold still had ice in it. It was very, very salty. I am so disappointed in this Denny’s I go there all the time in the morning and the service is excellent. The food is excellent but each time we’ve tried to go as a family in the late afternoon evening time the food has been disgusting and the service has truly been just pitiful.
