My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. We had the pasta, conch fritters, Cobb salad, and Mac and cheese. All the food was great and service was prompt. Love the patio and bar area. Cocktails were also good as was the wine selection. We will be visiting again and hope they consider adding a weekend brunch.
This restaurant opened in August 2025. We are residents of PB and live about a mile from this restaurant. In the early days, we ate at the original restaurant across the street behind the old Farm Stores drive-thru. We decided to wait a few months to allow the business to work out any kinks or problems. Our family were in the restaurant business and that is normal…give them time and all is worked out! We’re happy to say that OCI has got it down pack now and has brought a truly brilliant culinary experience and creative cocktail mixology our area. Mind you transforming this previous building that was once a local bank into a stunning restaurant takes huge capital, a lot of patience and talent to get it all done! We dined there on a Friday at around 3:15pm which was perfect timing. Walked in and got a spot at the bar right away. The atmosphere here is stellar. All modern décor, charming lighting and luxurious design. The open bar from inside to outside is refreshing during our winter cool season. We were served by “Germany & Joselyn” and they were amazing. They made suggestions from the menu, answered questions and were very accommodating. My wife had some excellent wine selections, and I opted for a draft beers. We watched in amazement as they made their famous cocktails at the bar which BTW their happy hour is from 4-6 pm on M-F and is a great value. We started with their crispy smoked BBQ wings and they were tasty, tender with a great sweet sauce. We opted for lunch entrees with my wife having the smash burger and I had the turkey club sandwich. Both were huge and made to perfection. What I’m going to rave about here is their French-fried potatoes. They were cooked perfectly with a right crisp on the outside and soft & moist on the inside. We were fortunate to meet one of the partners, Ben, that came in and introduced himself and was most gracious in chatting with us. If you wonder why you drive by here and routinely see the parking area packed, there is a reason and its time to come in and try it. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks OCI!
Kevin was our server and he was super friendly. The bartenders made some fantastic cocktails, my favorite was the guava margarita. All the food came out delicious, between my friends and I we tried 8 different plates and nothing disappointed. I’m so excited this place opened up down the street from my house.
My family and I are really excited for this local restaurant that just opened up in Palmetto Bay. Our waitress Maria was exceptional and one of the owners even stopped by our table to thank us and to make sure everything was perfect. The decor is beautiful and creates a feel good dinner Feng Shui. My daughter wanted a cocktail drink that was not in the menu and they were more than willing to accommodate us. We sent our compliments to the chef since the taste was exquisite and the food quality was superb. The price is a bit on the high side, but we'll deserved. We will definitely return and we might even make this our new spot. GREAT JOB GUYS
Hesitant going due to dinner Google reviews & other reviews from family & friends. However, we decided to go for a weekday breakfast. We ordered at the window and sat outside while waiting for our coffee, smoothie, and meal. Food and beverages were delicious. Everything was fairly priced and GREAT! Will definitely be back! May give dinner a shot.
Absolutely AMAZING! Staff was super friendly and welcoming, the waiter was very well educated on the menus and drinks. Food came out quickly and the taste was amazing. Food presentation matched the vibe and quality of the restaurant. Literally dreaming of going back soon for another passion fruit ceviche. The restaurant is beautifully designed and a great spot for the entire family! We did not have a reservation and the hostess was able to accommodate us. My husband and I are looking forward to another date night at Old Cutler Inn!

Such a lovely space! The service by Maria exceeded expectations! They accommodated my drink order, though it wasn’t on the menu, and the food was out of this world!! The owners are lovely and one even came and greeted us at our table! So grateful to have this as a local restaurant!
Everything is always superb when we go to the OCI! The vibes, food, drinks are always the best. It’s such a comfortable restaurant for whatever occasion and always feels so homey ❤️ Definitely recommend the oysters, hot bread, salmon and the chicken! My favourite dishes so far and can’t wait to try more!!
I visited Old Cutler Inn for brunch and this was my first time visiting it. The brunch is priced $50 p/p and you have the option to add unlimited mimosas or bellinis for $25 per adult. Food was good, but I wish they had more variety to choose from. Their buffet area is kind of small and they also have a menu to order some items á la carte. Service needs some improvement. I will go back in the future to give them another chance.
I went to the bar outside only. But the wait was a little long for the amount of people that were there. We had to actually waive the bartender down. And said ohh I’m sorry didn’t see you 300lbs 6.2’ bright red shirt is hard to miss. But whatever. She ended up recommending some drinks which we like and I actually fell in love with one that will be my new go to drink there. Amber honey mash totally recommend. Tina I believe was her name ended up being amazing. Explaining every drink and and what to expect and that’s what I love if I’m going to spend money on drinks. Now as far as the food we only ordered an appetizer since I had already eaten. We order the meatball sliders. The meatballs great the bread just way too much. I believe if they sold the meatballs balls alone would be a much better hit. But that’s my opinion. I will stopping by a little more often just for the drinks. Bar was first come first serve if you want to eat at the restaurant make reservations.
New Review: Redemption Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Okay… I don’t do redemption reviews lightly, but Old Cutler Inn earned this one. My husband and I gave it another go (twice) after our initial bad experience. Truthfully, the only reason we kept gave it a go was because it was opening week when we came AND it’s the only cocktail bar in Cutler Bay (so… slim pickings lol). We came back a third time just to be sure before writing this, and I’m happy to say—it finally hit. They’ve come a long way since opening week. Service, drinks, food—everything has noticeably improved, and I can confidently say we’ll continue coming back. My favorite drink is still the White Pearl (pro tip: order it without the truffle). Another pro tip: order the lychee martini if you want the same vibe but a bigger pour. 👀🍸 Fan favorites so far: Fish dip Burger Chicken sandwich for lunch Honestly… 5 stars for the chicken sandwich alone. Shoutout to Tony behind the bar (where we always sit). He’s been here since opening, and with every visit it just keeps getting better. I think the sound of becoming regulars is officially starting hit.😌 ————————- Original Review: Old Cutler Inn is a fresh addition to the Cutler Bay area, giving locals something they’ve been craving: craft drinks and inventive cocktails. Since it’s a new spot, I’m willing to give it another shot as they’re probably still finding their rhythm. We couldn’t snag a reservation but got lucky with bar seating. Our bartender was fantastic, and the cocktails were on point. You can tell the owners poured a lot of heart into the place, and aesthetically, it’s very pleasant. That said, the food and overall service could use some improvement. Most of our dishes arrived at room temperature. We were excited about the bread section, but the rolls needed more butter to truly shine. The French onion soup, however, was excellent! Oysters were slightly shelly but still enjoyable. We ordered the steak and frites medium rare, but it came out extremely rare. I had to send it back—my first time doing so—and was surprised when they recooked the same steak, leaving the fries cold. We also had a minor hiccup with clearing our plates, which felt a bit awkward. Desserts were just okay, and the espresso martini didn’t hit the mark (I don’t think they used real coffee), but the White Pearl cocktail was phenomenal. Overall, I’d give Old Cutler Inn a second chance. If you’re considering visiting, give them a little time to iron out the kinks. For cocktails and small bites, I’m definitely coming back.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I’ve had three friends who visited and none of them liked it. Not a good sign, but I like to try things for myself. I came here with my daughter on a Monday evening at 6pm. They were already booked. The dining room is very small. The restaurant looks bigger from the outside than it is inside. There were two seats at the bar though, so we sat there. The bartender was very nice and friendly. We shared a White Pearl drink. It was very good. It usually comes with truffle in it, but the bartender asked if we wanted to add it and we decided to try the drink without it. It was pretty strong so kudos to the bartender. For dinner we shared the 6 oysters. I ordered the BBQ wings. It comes with 6 wings to an order. My daughter ordered the spicy vodka Lumanche. The oysters were great! My wings were delicious! The pasta however was not good. It was VERY bland. They really need to adjust their sauce. It tasted like nothing (but a little spicy). There was no salt and no acidity to it. We asked the bartender for some salt and added it, but it really didn’t make any difference. It was a pretty good size order and my daughter took home her leftovers. We ran into a friend there and went to say hi. She said, “This place sucks!” I really want this place to succeed, but they HAVE to get the food together! People don’t want to pay $30 for pasta that doesn’t have any flavor, after paying $10 to park there. Our bill was $100 after tip. They need to either lower their prices or make the food worth the cost. Otherwise they will never have any return business. Once everyone has tried it, they’ll be the last time they come. Fire your chef and get the food where it needs to be if you don’t want to go out of business.
Great new addition to the neighborhood! We expected a long wait since it was opening night, but the bartenders kept everyone happy and were amazing. Once seated, service was excellent and every dish we tried—spicy vodka pasta, oak chicken, calamari, French onion soup, and the sticky bun—was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!
Delicious wigs and burger. The pork schnitzel was flavorful, but really dry. The broccolini was undercooked and charred which some people may prefer, but we didn't. Oysters, yum!
We visited Old Cutler Inn for a Friday night date around 7:45 PM. The waitlist was packed (apparently 150 ahead of us), so we left our name and were told we’d receive a text when a table became available. Thankfully while we went to order a drink at the bar 5 minutes later, we spotted an open table outside in front of the bar - which was first-come, first-serve - and grabbed it. I’m glad we did because our text for a table didn’t arrive until 3 hours later when we were already home. We started off with the ceviche, bread rolls, and fish dip and all delicious but the ceviche and bread rolls were the real standouts. My husband enjoyed smoked Old Fashion while I sipped on the Versailles cocktail which was sweet, yet fantastic. For the mains we both went with smash burgers. They were juicy, flavorful, and paired with a great sauce (similar to Big Mac sauce). The only drawback was the burger bread because it was too thick and dry. A brioche bun would have been a much better fit. Service from the bar was excellent. I didn’t catch our bartender’s name, but she was attentive, kind, and anticipated our needs throughout the evening. Although we really enjoyed a Old Cutler Inn, it has its downsides. We found the menu to be on the pricey side. With burgers, apps, and drinks, our tab came to $250, which feels steep. Also worth noting is that there’s no kids menu. While families can order flatbreads or burgers for little ones, dedicated kid-friendly options aren’t available. Overall, Old Cutler Inn delivered a fun date night with some yummy bites and drinks, but it’s definitely more of a splurge spot than a casual dinner go-to. We would absolutely go back but next time, we’ll definitely be making a reservation.

We had high expectations for Old Cutler Inn. The place is charming, small but cozy inside. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match our expectations. The food was just average, not bad but nothing memorable. The real issue was the extremely slow service. It took over 40 minutes to receive a simple bowl during a Sunday lunch at noon, and the restaurant wasn’t even full. I shared my disappointment with the waiter and the manager applied a discount, which was appreciated, but never came to the table to apologize or acknowledge the delay. They definitely need to improve their systems and service. Overall, there wasn’t anything compelling enough, food or service, to make us want to return. The discount was a nice gesture, but we weren’t there for a bargain; we were hoping for a pleasant Sunday lunch.
Great food and exceptional service from server Chris!! One of the best Pinot Noir I ever had🍷🍷🍷Five stars for all this 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 Sadly I cannot give an overall 5 star! The gorgeous interior decor is marred by poor ventilation so the whole place reeks of fish and other kitchen smells. And the noise level ( on a busy Sunday afternoon)is so high its not possible to have a conversation in normal tones. Give them a try when it's not busy, to be able to enjoy everything!

Old Cutler Inn is a restaurant trying to punch above its weight. It charges premium prices but delivers an uneven and far from premium experience. The atmosphere is great, decor is great, and the music is great. Clearly there was a lot of attention to detail in this respect. There are also some dishes with good execution like the dinner rolls, which were fluffy and flavorful, and the flatbreads, with delicious dough and a sauce so good that I'm inclined to think it is made inhouse. However, our steak salad and tuna salad were bland and uninteresting. The type of salads you could make at home for 1/10th of the price. The burger was tasty but borderline dry. And the cocktails while masterfully done just don't warrant the hefty price tag. Service was corteous and attentive but not in line with a restaurant that charges $25 for an old fashioned. Families will be disappointed there is no kids menu. Overall, I'm glad it finally opened but will not go back any time soon. In my previous review I had complained about the restaurant cancelling my reservation. Thankfully they rescheduled me and we were able to try it, so kudos to management for correcting this.
Our food was great ! Atmosphere was amazing but our service was subpar, our male server with glasses was not attentive nor helpful and gave us misinformation about the Brunch menu. I wish I could give a 5 star review but this service was not worth the $45 per person for breakfast. I will try again but not worth it at all.
Unfortunately the dinning experience was disappointing. Our waiter was friendly but slow and not very attentive. The menu is ok but not extraordinary. When our order was finally taken it took a while for the appetizers to arrive. We were almost done with these when the waiter showed up, apologized and informed us that the kitchen had ran out of BBQ Ribs. 2 of my guests decided on the Flatiron Steak instead. We waited about 40 minutes till we got our mains. All of them were lukewarm at the most. A friend ordered the appetizer sliders for her main course. She ended up pulling pieces of wrapping paper out from underneath the pattys. We brought this to the attention of the manager. As soon as we were finished I ordered the check. We didn't want to wait even longer. To be fair, the sliders were completely taken off the check and we received a 10 $ discount on each of the Flatiron things. I paid in cash and didn't want to leave that at the table. The waiter was out of sight again and the hostess was not seen either. When he finally went to our table he didn't find the check and he didn't see us waiting at the hostess counter. Maybe he thought we disappeared without paying. I gave the money to another waiter. We just wanted to get out of there. Despite this unsatisfactory experience I gave 20 % gratuity. It wasn't the waiters fault that the kitchen messed up. The place has been open for 3 months now. That should be enough to straighten out any problems. The kitchen has to improve considerably. I am not sure I will give this place another try.

Place is nice, beautifully designed and decorated. Our waitress never came back to our table, had to call her over for my check. She recommended the braised short rib, real disappointing. It was hard not tender at all, room temperature not served hot the polenta was very pasty.i do not recommend.
We didn’t have a reservation, but the host was able to seat us quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. It took about 10 minutes for our waiter to greet us, and another 10 minutes just to get water and place our drink order. The kitchen seemed to be experiencing delays or issues—our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was underwhelming. The Korean BBQ short rib was a generous portion, but it was very dry. The pork schnitzel, on the other hand, was decent. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, and it looked like they had a full staff, yet the service was incredibly slow. Throughout the meal, no one checked on us for additional drinks or water, which made the experience even more frustrating. Even had to wait a long time to get the check and pay when there were only a handful of tables left. Would definitely not recommend…
We walked in with a 7pm reservation, we arrived a little early so we were seated on time. However, come 7:35 we still don't have anyone come to the table to greet us or even offer us water. We went for my brother's birthday and around 7:45 he went in to speak to the hostess, some minutes later the server arrived. He took our drink order and appetizers. My sparkling water and my dad's beer took forever to come out and then the server finally took our food order. Around 20 minutes after the food order was placed, he comes out to let me know that they don't have my order, the Spicy Vodka pasta at the moment. At this time, I'm upset because I am notified when everyone else is close to receiving their food. He tells me that the manager will come out to speak with me. The manager comes out some minutes later, and he does not apologize for the delay any of us have gone through and just asks me what I want instead. I'm a vegetarian and the options are extremely limited, by this point I'm not even hungry anymore but I order the flatbread anyways in case I'm hungry when it comes out. When the entrees for everyone else come out, they're cold. I ordered the chili crunch broccolini and as you can see by the picture there was no chili crunch only sea salt on them, and super cold, definitely not worth the $8 price tag as they had no flavor. The lasagna (both orders) were super cold, my brother said that it was okay. My sister in law stated that the steak wasn't that great and it was also cold. The flatbread was comped which was nice, but after waiting that long, no apologies and getting all the entrees cold, I would have expected a little more. The best part of the meal was the bread rolls, which you also have to pay for. After looking forward to this restaurant opening, it was extremely disappointing from the food to the service from the server AND the manager. I was expecting a lot more.
I’ve been three times now since they opened. I want so badly to like this place. It’s fairly close to my house and Palmetto Bay needs a great neighborhood resturant. Unfortunately, this is not it. I’ve yet to have a good experience. Tonight I gave them one more chance and unfortunately they came up short again. Upon arriving for our 7 o’clock reservation, the hostess greeted us and said give me a second. Ten minutes later as we were stood there watching her just look at an iPad, I approached her and I said what’s wrong? why can’t we be seated? She said she was trying to space out the seating for the server. (The table we ended up sitting at was empty and cleaned the moment we arrived) I said to her, so we are standing and waiting because you don’t wanna stress out the server and cause him/her to be in the weeds? I don’t understand why we couldn’t have been seated and at least have someone in the restaurant get us a drink or a glass of water? I could not believe that the server’s comfort and work load took precedence over the patron. My husband and I ordered a pepperoni flatbread, which was actually quite good. A Caesar salad with brown lettuce that was very, very mediocre and the wings, which were also actually pretty good. I didn’t write a review from my other two visits but all of the food we had then was pretty disappointing with the exception of the short rib. They need to make some changes in the kitchen and improve staff training before it becomes the down fall of this restaurant. When we got home, my daughter was having a Friendsgiving with several of her adult friends. They asked us where we went for dinner and when I told them three or four of them said “oh yeah, I’ve heard that place is terrible.” Kind of sad that this is the neighborhood reputation that they have already established.
