We had a great lunch here. Food was fresh and tasty. Plenty of seating in a clean dining room. Great location and friendly staff. We liked the drink variety but wished there was free refills on soda.

Just gonna put this out there: You can't go wrong with King Taco. This place has been one of my favorites ever since a friend introduced me to it. The tacos here are affordable yet incredibly delicious. They offer an authentic Mexican taste that's not Americanized. The hot chili sauce packs quite a spicy punch, so keep that in mind. The salsa verde is absolutely delicious. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow due to its immense popularity, resulting in long lines that extend out the door. However, they have a spacious dining area with plenty of seating. It's a fantastic spot to grab some food after a night of drinking in Pasadena.

King Taco has an old school fast food vibe with amazing food. The tacos are amazing and the tamales are perfection. Prices are reasonable and the quality is top notch.

I love King Taco, very consistent across all locations so you know what you're getting. This particular location always has a really long line at all hours of the day, especially at night and on weekends. I recently discovered that you can order for pickup on Uber Eats, so I highly recommend ordering before you get here so you can skip the line. Everything is great here but my go to are tacos and sopes!

This was my first time eating king taco in almost a decade. The horchata was bomb salsas were great! Now the tacos the meat was well seasoned just felt like my tortillas tasted like those mission tortillas. But overall good service.

I noticed this location and decided to come inside it was empty. I made my order and waited, after me there was a Hispanic gentlemen that arrived and only ordered one some, which caught my eye, I was interested why would anyone just come in to get 1 some, and i was thinking is the food bad or something. The guy was wearing all black attire and seemed not interested in talking or anything. I then was called up with my number and received the food. As soon as I took bites of the burrito, the bite was very inconsistent. The meat felt chewy, so much that it was not a sturdy and confident bite, it was as if your eating cartilage. The tacos were the same my family member mentioned. This restaurant is in a prime location but what i noticed that it was marinated but it still lacked the wow factor, im sure alot of people arrive to this place to feel nostalgic, but to bite your food and get chewy rubbery beef is a complete no go for us. This has been a lesson and pretty much all the king tacos have gone down the drain. Good luck on your visit and I hope your bite is not like ours.

So I live near La Estrella tacos. And always eat there. While the service is way better here. The food was same price, but I get less for the same amount, tacos were half the size. I even get radishes and lemon with my tacos at LA Estrella. So I am always gonna go after the bigger bang for my buck. 🌮

I’ve been a loyal customer of King Taco for years, and while the food remains outstanding, my recent visit left me disappointed. The Carne Asada nachos I ordered were fantastic—the meat was perfectly cooked, the chips were crispy, and the cheese and salsa verde had great flavor. I’d give the food itself a solid 5 stars. However, my issue stems from the portion sizes and the restrictions on salsa. I was surprised to only receive one small cup of salsa for my entire meal, and when I asked for more, I had to pay extra. My friend ordered quite a bit—two quesadillas, two burritos, tacos, and a drink—and was also limited to only four salsa cups, despite wanting to take some home for his wife. He ended up paying almost $7 for a large cup of salsa, which felt excessive. On top of that, there are no free refills on soda. My friend was told he had to purchase another drink at full price to get a refill, which added to the frustration. Another downside to our experience was the bathroom situation. It seems like this location has become a gathering spot for homeless individuals, and there’s no door code or prevention technique for the restroom. While we were eating, three homeless people used the restroom, taking a long time in there, and customers had to wait because the restrooms were occupied for extended periods. It made for an uncomfortable environment, especially for those needing to use the facilities. While the food at King Taco is always great, the skimping on salsa, lack of drink refills, and restroom situation take away from the overall experience. Hopefully, they can address these issues in the future.

First off, you can’t your order online until they open at 10am. I ordered 2 tacos as soon as they opened & the earliest to pick them up was at 10:45am (no sooner time available). Soon as I got there, one of the ladies behind the pick up counter just looked at me, didn’t not acknowledge me. I took the initiative to tell her I’m there to pick up my order. She still ignored me. Another lady from the back finally came & I told her I’m there to pick up my order. My order was not available but an uber driver came after me got his order of 13 tacos already bagged and ready. But yet, my 2 tacos weren’t ready & they had to make it after I got there. I was very disappointed that the tacos were hella small and the service was bad. I wouldn’t go again.

Hair on my food, very disgusting, never going there ever again. Didn’t even wanted to give me a refund, unacceptable. Cashier was rude just not a very enjoyable experience.
